We ate from their truck this evening at a 4th of July celebration. Rib tips and sausage were both fantastic. The tips had such a rich smoke flavor, very impressive. Sausage was nice and spicy! Kids loved the fries under the tips. Well visit the restaurant soon!!

I ordered for the first time today through UberEats. I need to experience this food fresh if its THIS good after being delivered. I mean EVERY piece of meat (chopped beef, sausage, grilled pork chop) had flavor throughout each bite not just that on the surface nonsense. BBQ is good when it doesnt need sauce and this definitely fits that description. Lawd Hammercy I found a new BBQ spot. I came to this establishment in April in search of some good food. We got the opposite. So, we tried the wings and baked potato. The order took a long time to come out, which is not surprising since the wings were huge. The wings were everything but good. The baked potato tasted like it was possibly reheated from a different day. The sausage inside of the potato was ok. I think we ordered the wrong items since their claim to fame is bbq. However, we did call to let the gentleman know the wings didn t taste good. He argued they were seasoned instead of offering a swap of the item. A business is being ran and I understand that. But, what I don t understand is the lack of customer service. Unfortunately, we won t be back.

I was craving bbq & took a chance on this place by ordering off Uber eats. It was actually DELICIOUS. I got the chopped beef baked potato, 1/2 slab of ribs (that were sooooOO tender), and potato salad. I am a VERY picker eater & LOVED IT. I received cold food with the chicken that is so dry and old its inevitable. Called the restaurant spoke with someone who claim to be a manager informed him of the problem with the food he got passed because I told him this meat was cooked 2 days ago which it was if not longer. After I complained about the food he claimed I was so called being irate which is a lie, if he doesnt want a complaint about the food dont send people old food. The other 3 people I spoke with prior to speaking to him was very kind and polite. Everyone that uses ubereats doesnt do it for a mere convenient Im ill taking a lot of medicine and needed to eat to take my medications. I will never even attempt to support anotherblack owned business the unprofessionalism is ridiculous. The chicken is so dry and hard the bone is even dried out. The beans are cloudy I dont know what thats about. I merely tried to have my food replaced and give them this plate back but the manager wants to be all in his feelings because the food is bad lacking the professionalism of a superior. I do want to thank the young lady and the 2 young men I spoke with for being so professional and polite, they know I wasnt irate or even upset when I initially placed the call to this restaurant it was that male. The response to my complaint is a lie, I did not speak to the same male 3 different times neither was I irate you got passed when I told you that meat was cooked 2 days ago and those cloudy beans were spoiled. I know the difference in the voices between the young men I spoke with and the manager. That meat was so old and had been reheated so many times it became the texture of jerky inedible. Had ubereats had the reviews from other people who had bad experiences at this place I would have never ordered here. If youre dont want anyone to complaint about bad food dont sell it. Im done with this liar I got my money back and will never ever order from here. Ill stick with Big Horn BBQ at least they take care of their customers and dont serve old inedible food, lie on their customers or all in their feelings.

They show closing hours are at 7. I called around 6:15 and someone with an attitude who sounded like she didnt want to answer the phone (not sure why she did) and said maam we closed. If you dont like your job quit. Its not acceptable being rude to a customer. And its certainly not okay to offer a closing time and then say you are closed 45 minutes later. Boogies catered my employee appreciation day and it was nothing short of amazing. We had brisket, sausage, smoked chicken, Mac and cheese (just to name a few). My employees absolutely loved it. They were highly upset when the Mac and cheese was gone (I guess I didn t order enough lol) and they said the brisket was the best brisket they had ever had. I have a lot of employees and many of them are not from Houston and they all said the food was absolutely delicious. My event was for over 200 employees. I gave them the number and they gave their recommendation which was perfect (well, except for the macaroni I guess lol). 10/10 will definitely recommend Boogies for any catering/cooperate events. They definitely have what it takes to make the people and their belly s smile. I almost forgot the desserts they were definitely a hit the sweet potato bars, lemon bars and brownies. We went to check this place out after landing in Houston. I ve been waiting to check it out for a while. When I got out the car, the aroma of the smoked BBQ reminded me of home, Chicago. The entire experience was five star. We called our order in. It was ready when we got there and I even ordered a few more items. The pictures, the atmosphere reminded me of your typical rib joint in Chi. Rib tips, wings, the Kool-Aid mixed w/ lemonade and fruit punch all delicious. The rib tips are amazing with or without the sauce, I had to have mild sauce on mine. The sauce can be purchased and they offer catering. If you want some authentic smoked barbecue from the midwest, fries on the bottom meat on top w/sauce and slice of white bread this is the place to go to in Houston.

I recently used Boogies catering services for a company event. My team mostly made up of native Texans, who often are very critical when it comes to BBQ, was extremely pleased with the the taste, quality, and service. The brisket was moist, tender and well seasoned, the ribs fell off the bone, the chicken had great smoke, the sausage had the best spice flavors, and all the side were delicious. My team and recommend using Boogies Chicago Style BBQ for both business and personal occasions. Funny piece of information.... the food was so good that one of my employees went there on a Monday after our event.not realizing they were closed on Mondays, was upset because his mouth was watering for more Boogies.

Best rib tips Ive ever had in Texas! Im from Chicago, and finding rib tips in Texas was nonexistent until this restaurant opened. Im here at least weekly for my little taste of home. The foods amazing, the service is excellent and I cant say enough good things about this place. Get extra sauce on your fries. I promise youll thank me later! Ill be a loyal customer until either I cross over to Heaven or they decide to close (which I pray NEVER, EVER HAPPENS)!!!

I wasnt gonna add text but since they had the decency to write a thank you, I would like to share why I gave 5 Stars. 1. The food was Chicago style done correctly. The bbq was wrapped in that paper you dip your fries in. In an that red and white container. You know the one. 2. The sauce was actually MILD SAUCE. NOT MILD BBQ SAUCE. 3. The meat was soft. On most pieces, I could the meat with the bone. 4. The location reminds me of sitting in Harolds. Lots of Chicago memorabilia. 5. Didnt have to wait all day for my order. I waited 5 mins max. 6. The customer service was top-notch. Polite and to the point. Bottom line if you like Chicago styled BBQ this is the spot.

Finally found Good BBQ within 15 min of Sugar Land. The spots in SL are okay, like the Applebees of BBQ, they serve a purpose. The nearest Pappas in Houston has been off the last several months. Been hoping to find someplace closer and this is it. Open 3 days a week and I literally added to my calendar. Tried the spicy BBQ sauce and it s delicious. Dining area is small but they seem to have takeout down to a science.

SMH you guys make it impossible for a girl to be on a diet! Like, how am I supposed to eat one rib and some green beans with all this delicious food in front of me??!!! My friends and I ordered the 3 meat plate with pork chop, ribs and brisket with green beans and Potato salad, we ordered sausage and chicken wings. The food is so good and the serving size is enough to eat off of for days! And the sauce on the wings does remind me of Uncle Ramus chicken in Chicago. I will definitely order again.

Man this is so disappointing. But Ive been seeing this restaurant and food truck pop up in my social media feeds and was driving past it and decided to give them a try. I wish I had no peripheral vision. The french fries tastes like frozen french fries that maybe they cook while they still frozen they were just not fresh tasting at all. The chicken wings are jumbo chicken wings when you order six wings you get three jumbo wings cut in half. I forgot to ask for mild sauce thinking that since they were Chicago restaurant mile sauce was going to come with the chicken. The rib tips the sauce was on point but the rib tips were kind of chewy some of them overcooked and greasy. Very disappointing.

I have been debating on whether to post this review or not but the more I think about it the more I feel I should. I got the baked potato with chopped beef and paid almost $13 for it. Whenever I have gotten this at other barbecue restaurants there is a lot of chopped beef on the potato. But when I got mine from your restaurant there was very little meat on the potato although it was really good. Paying almost $13 for a stuffed baked potato i feel there should be a lot more meat on it than what I got.

Food was delicious , I ordered the jumbo turkey leg and hamburger. Loved the turkey leg because it wasnt salty, have tried so many places with turkey legs and it is always over seasoned. The only suggestion I have is when taking orders ask for customers name, so by the time the order is ready, all they have to do is call names and verify the order.
