Another wonderful family owned restaurant hidden away. Our meals were the perfect size for us with prices to match. The servers were on top of it and understood English, too. One thing I found odd was that my husbands food was served way before mine was.

Nasty roaches!! They failed previous 15 health inspections violations. Did you all see the Food 4 Thought on Channel 4, they have cockroaches, something extra on the menu they don t tell you. Que Asco!!

My meal was too salty and left a bad taste in my mouth. They have no prices on the menu and dont put it on the bill either. You only see the price when you go to pay. Servers too busy to care. I tried to catch the eye of one to ask for hot sauce, she never looked at nor checked on us once.

Very friendly staff, but for me the food fell short. You do get lots of food and in large portions, but the breading on the fish was just salty no tasty seasoning, just salt. They also bring out some sort of noodle soup at the beginning of a meal. This is already in addition to the chips, salsa, and nice little surprise of nacho cheese dip that was brought out earlier. The chips come with some dry seasoning (red in color), which I was told was a bit on the salty side. The tartar sauce was bland, but the cocktail sauce was good. You only get 3 shrimp with the fish and shrimp plate, but it is a large filet. The fries were a bit over cooked for me, but I did try a few with their ketchup and when I found that to be watered down, I decided they were just not worth the calories/carbs. Although this meal was not satisfying, I would give it a second chance since my Mom was pleased to find a well prepared and tasty chile relleno. Those are very hard to find. Perhaps the chef was having an off day. I found it odd that not a single dessert is offered here, but at least they sell Mexican cokes.

Small place in Mission, Tx, cheese enchiladas were great! Baked chicken was amazing, the potato salad was homeade and service from Esmer and Mirna was very good. Attentive and came by our table regularly.

Yes, the food is very delicious but what I didnt like is that they dont warn you that they are going to charge you for the extra tortillas, not the ones that the dish has, the dish only has two and they should put more tortillas, about 3 because otherwise you have to spend more and apart from waiting again to be able to finish eating and it ruins your breakfast, one goes to eat, not to wait again to be able to finish, how bad

I used to eat here many times along with my co-workers when I worked for the school district. Food was always good. Their lunch specials are so good too. After retiring I had not been back because now its a little off my way. Decided to go visit there again today with a friend and the food was still as good as before. The complimentary chips, salsa and soup hit the spot as we waited for our plates.The employees and the owner are very friendly and always check up on you. Great food and great service. Glad we went today!!

Used to eat here quite often because it is close by but also because the food was good. When we walked in for breakfast the waitress brought out coffee because she knew what we wanted. There was a problem with bill being paid because of her card machine not working right. Gave her cash and things were good. Went in another time and she gave me my money back because she said my card was charged. Again on another visit she confronted my wife (her name on card), mind you, my wife wasnt involved in transaction. When I was discussing this with her with no harsh words and trying to get it figured out (I was planning on going home and see if deducted from card before paying) her husband jumped up and told me I was banned from restaurant. A little harsh reaction but he walked me to door but then she came out to talk to me. I told her we wouldnt be back and havent. After getting home and seeing amount not deducted I took her back $20 and told her to keep it walked out. Really sorry for his reaction. She told me she was struggling but still wont bring us back. We were spending at least $100 a month there. Now it is spent at other restaurants in area. I realize his name is on the building but she runs the place so ultimately it is on her.
