Its Olive Garden. Admittedly I probably couldve ordered something lighter, however their Carbonara is way too fatty. Excellent service and even more of a wonderful atmosphere. The schrip scampi is to die for! Dietary restrictions: They are accommodating if you have a gluten allergy, within reason. Wheelchair accessibility: Perfect

My sister and I popped in for a quick lunch and the service and kindness from the staff was absolutely stellar! Food was piping hot, fresh and the staff was amazing! The only thing that was off was that they weren t timing the bread production properly right before a lunch crowd came in Dietary restrictions: Gluten free pasta available

Just returned from lunch, and guess what? We were seated at a table for five in under 30 seconds during the peak of lunch hour. The waitress was attentive and polite. As for the food, it was exactly what you d expect from Olive Garden- Pasta fajioli - my favorite. The waitress offered non-alcoholic refills, which was a nice touch. Thank you for a great lunch and a way to treat my hardworking staff.

We came after church with my family of 10. The restaurant was almost empty but they said 40 minute wait, numerous parties walked in before us including a group of 9 people . This restaurant needs major structure last time I ever come to this location .

Firts time here. My mother and I went for lunch and had a bad experience with the waiter. Im not sure if he was not having a good day or something cause this young kid was forgetting everything. I ordered 2 lunch special for my mom and I, and he only brought 1, so I tried to give mom my plate so she could eat first, and she was like no go ahead, and you eat cause you had to go back to work. So I ate and waited on the plate with my mom. I called work that I was running late so I could finish eating with my mother. They did make it rite. I didnt pay for her plate. But I was Kate to work. Pasta portions are RIDICULOUS!! $22 plate for a portion the size of my palm! We ordered Shrimp Scampi, DINNER plate, they brought us less than a lunch portion! Spoke with the manager, she stated that in fact it was the dinner portion and that other Olive Garden s in McAllen were serving the wrong portions and were making this new restaurant look bad! Our waitress was very nice and also agreed that the portion was wrong, but the manager was a complete jerk. Not going back EVER! For good pasta portions and prices go to Steffano s HIGHLY RECOMMEND

Visited new location in Mission TX yesterday for my birthday. We were seated promptly, our waitress was polite. My chicken and shrimp carbonara was dry, the tour of Italy alfredo had very little sauce on it chicken and lasagna both looked over cooked and were really dry). My niece ordered a medium steak and it was served to her really over cooked. Our waitress was no where to be seen to ask for extra sauce for the dry pastas so when a waiter was walking by I just said excuse me sir and before I could finish my sentence, to ask for my waitress he turned his head literally rolling his eyes and that made my blood boil. He did not even bother replying to me. But whatever right, Ive never posted a review before and the main reason for this one was that we ended up getting sick afterwards. My sister , my 9 month old baby and myself. (My niece didnt eat that really overcooked steak) Im so disappointed because I had been looking forward since news of this establishment build to go eat there and I decided to go on my birthday, got sick and ruined my day. My sister and I are fine now but my baby still has diarrhea this afternoon.

Good place for a date or family night. Nice atmosphere and friendly staff. Very clean bathrooms. Service is on point and wait staff is very friendly and accommodating. Food is consistently okay. Pasta has been cooked well each time Ive gone. Nothing on the menu is particularly special but if youre looking for a reliable place that wont disappoint then this location is a good option.

Love everything here, but the service is slow! Ive been here twice during the week and on a Saturday and be prepared to be waiting for a good 40 minutes to an hour before being served. They take forever to bring you the salad and brewadsticks. By the time the main dish comes out, youre stuffed! Lol! Since its new I. Thinking they are not prepared as other places.

The first time I went was the day it open so I let the wait slide even though we had a reservation, however we decided to go again and we were forgotten. No drink orders nothing, my son is a type 1 diabetic and hadn t eaten blood sugar was dropping and my 6 year old daughter kept telling me she was hungry. I had to beg a waiter to please get my son a soda, then after 30 minutes I decided to pay for the drinks and just leave. At this point it was just the managers taking our order and brining it out. I felt I was stereotyped because it was one mom with 2 kids and not a big party. Olive Garden was our favorite restaurant but honestly I hate it now.

My family and I went and it was a horrible experience, the waiters were just stupid, they dont have any experience, we were waiting for 30 minutes and they never asked us what we were going to drink. I asked them who was going to serve us and they answered me. They didnt know the place was very nice and everything but the service was horrible, they should hire people with experience and not those young people who dont even know what they are doing.

Everyone giving 3 stars and for what? They just opened have some patience and be understanding that the crew is new, and well trained to try best of their ability. It s opening week and you all expect service of 1000 years experience :/ How do yall complain if yall leave a mess, aren t nice and don t tip well. Ordering 100$ worth of food and leaving 2-3$ especially after yelling at them and being rude Cut them some slack and be more understanding There are some amazing servers if you took the time to talk to them, meet them and not just water and bread now Jenn, athenea, Carlos G, Daniel G, ruby and Joseph T, to name a few are awesome servers. So quit whining, have an open mind and enjoy the amazing service they have to offer Yall are doing amazing keep it up :))

The restaurant is beautiful and everyone was very welcoming but our waiter sucked I did not get her name but she was a young lady she came to our table only 3 times she was too busy taking care of a table of 6 or 7 ladies that she forgot about my husband and I. We had to call 3 other waiters and 2 other employees who looked like managers to bring us our drinks, refills, bread & entrees. Our waiter never came back she was too focused on the bigger table I m guessing for the tip. I was very disappointed I had surgery 2 weeks ago and I was finally able to get out of the house and this is what I experienced. All other waiters and employees were wonderful.

This Olive Garden disappointed with seating atmosphere. No privacy like Mcallens. Everything open. Food tour of italy has gone up on price portions are small for the $22 price. If you go on price put more on the plate. I prefer Fazoli,s by far. The sauce here is too nasty and tomatoey too much. Servers were trying to hard to be nice.

Came to the grand opening (Jul 22nd) and was a bit sad that there wasnt any celebration or promos of any type despite its new location, however the food was excellent, the staff was friendly and tentative!
