Good to see this wildlife reservation area right inside the 250 loop. Bring plenty of water for drinks. The trail is shaded almost all the way around. No entrance fee, please do not forget to make your donation at the appropriate box. Toilets: Available at the entrance and well cleaned.

A great area close to town hiking spot. It has easy, quiet and safe feeling trails. Family friendly, but no dogs are allowed. Someone had it they were allowed, but there are markers everywhere that say otherwise, so I changed it.

The scene was so beautiful. I cant believe this place exists where it does lol. You can still hear the hustle and bustle of Interstate 20 but its out of sight. There are bird watching stations. Wooden walkways enhance the experience and even elevate u beyond the tree canopy. This is my favorite outdoor place to be in West Texas.. Its family friendly. Alot of the vegitation has labels on what is what. Even tells you which plant species is invasive. Pretty neat.

Found this place on maps and the reviews were good and one even said it was a good place for dogs, so I packed the kids and the dog and guess what when we got here there big signs saying No Dogs! Not happy we just drove 20 miles to check this place out and now cant even go in.

The coolest little spot to go for a long walk. Great photo ops for the gram. Informative little plaques are scattered in orderly fashion along the walking trail. Complete with little neat structures made of wood blinds.
