This location is very clean and bright. Plenty of tables for when there is a rush and the manager (Ryan) and his staff take great care of you. Their breakfast tacos are delicious and they have awesome queso. Just tried their street corn and it was great also!! We aren t drinkers but the bar area seems really nice and people feel free to visit and have fun. Food is delicious and they have a large menu. This will definitely be our go to location for sure. FYI they have a drive thru window ( you enter from the back of the building) which is really convenient also. If you haven t tried them yet do yourself a favor and stop in. A+ all the way

So I saw this place as a newer establishment with very high ratings so I decided to give it a shot, but was sadly disappointed. The people were nice, the music was a little loud, but I got the Baja Shrimp Taco, Green Chile Pork and the Democrat taco. I loved the shrimp tacos, they tasted amazing, but the meat on the Democrat taco was a little dry and isnt as flavorful as I expected. Then the pork taco tasted rancid, I do not know why because I love chorizo, but that salsa tasted wrong. To a person who loves salsa Verde, something was wrong with that taco. They did give us a free small serving of queso because I was a new customer so look forward for that, I was very grateful. Sadly the queso had a weird, very similar aftertaste also, almost like everything except the shrimp had started to go bad. I will say though when the manager came to me and asked me how the food was, I told him everything, but he was super kind and I complimented the shrimp tacos so he offered to make me more of them for free. Again, the staff here are so kind, Im very grateful that theres a manager there that cares, so I would give this place a 3.5/5 if I could just for customer service alone. I believe this place is for specific people who like to try very new, interesting tastes and maybe I just dont fit in as the usual customer base. I would still give this place a try especially with having more americanized options, but Id be careful about what combinations of meat, sauces and toppings youd go for. At least the rice and beans tasted normal for a tex-mex restaurant, nothing special though. Again, the customer service was amazing, so theyre ready to serve you when youre there.

The ambience is good, but the quality of food is bad, in comparison with other locations. 1. Ordered a steak burrito, but the quantity of steak was so less, and the meat was chewy. I ended up throwing it after taking a few bites. 2. They fill the sauces only one third of the size of those plastic cups. Not sure how much will you save by being so cheap about sauces. 3. Churros were really good.

This was my first time at this torchy s. There was a sign that there was a drive-through, which I was really excited about! I went around the building and went to the drive-through and was told it s not actually a drive-through. It s just to pick up online orders. That was a little strange. I think they may have been a little understaffed on a Saturday around 3:00 when I went there. I will give this location another shot sometime soon.

The flavor is good. I ordered a to go order, and for almost $6 a taco, they were smaller than the ones at Taco Bell. I usually go to another Tochys tacos, and their portions match the price. This was more than disappointing and wont be coming back to this location. Trust me, try the other locations, and you will see that you are getting your moneys worth, but definitely not here.

Manager Mike refused to give me a refund on hillbilly queso that was so greasy that its was not edible. It was orange liquid sitting on top and running out the side of lid. I didn t have a receipt because we didn t keep it. It was just queso. I offered the form of payment and the date and time ( a day before) and he said he need a transaction number ( which of course I don t have- then he asked for a store number) I described the young lady who checked us out and he said we get scammers all the time. This scam happens everyday. So I said are upturn calling me a scammer. Over $8 queso and chips. He said well it s an inconvenience to go thru all those receipts and I said it was an inconvenience to drive from hwy 121 to university drive/380 to return a bad product. I asked for general manager number and he didn t want to do it. Put two names on card. Ryan and. His name was Mike. The card given said Danny Gibbs who I have called twice and asked for a return call .. still nothing! They have lost my business and anyone else that I know To accuse me of scamming was too much. Spent my hard earned money in your store and you talk to me crazy and lie to my face. I said since u won t give me a refund. I want the product back. And he said. I cant do that.. I am done with this location. *****UPDATE***** The Front of the house manager called and made it right. He apologized and said that s not how they do business there. I appreciate the apology and remake of the product when I am ready

I love Torchy s, but this location is struggling. Our favorite dishes never taste quite right here. The draft beer selection is not great. But the staff is very friendly and eager to help. Hopefully I can amend this review after my next vist.

Had a great experience today! Danny was incredible! Thank you for being kind! My husband and I were back again tonight for dinner, and Torchys was the place to be! It was pretty busy! The staff didnt skip a beat! They were busting their butts! Danny was there again helping anywhere and everywhere he could. Amy assisted us a few times and was extremely kind and friendly! Shes the best! There was another lady (who looked like Amy, lol) that was working her behind off as well! All of the staff were busting their behinds! It was really awesome to see! All of them helping out whenever needed, all while keeping a smile on their faces and asking every table if they needed anything. Keep up the good work! Yall are KILLING it!

Really like me some Torchys! Tacos are great, though I like street taco style more but these are good. Pretty straight forward with steak, chicken, etc. but it is the combination of stuff in the taco that makes it. Be sure to check out/ask about any specials or hidden menu items. I have eaten here at the bar which is nice and the staff / bartender has been great every time. Good conversations and service. However as with most places in this strip mall style location, it is a bit small and can get loud if crowded.

It s ok. The gauc was very good, but the tacos in my opinion are very average. They have seemed to serve tacos with only one tortilla now, uses to be two. Also every torchy s we go to the food seems to be not hot. I m not sure if that s a prep issues or food runner issue. My wife wants to eliminate torchy s from our normal rotation.

First time ordering and we went through the pickup window. I ordered the orange. This is what a $6.35 taco looks like.. Pic on the left is the website advertising pic.. Pic on the right is what I received. Terrible.. Tortilla was soaked in oil. I put some Frank s on it to hopefully make it somewhat edible.

THE TEAM AT THE MCKINNEY STORE ARE AMAZING! I placed an order through the app. When I arrived just before 5pm to pick it up at the McKinney store on 380, I was told they didn t have my order. I checked the receipt to discover I had made a mistake. I had place the order at the Allen store on McDermott. About an hour drive away in rush hour traffic. The person waiting on me got the manager, he quickly called the Allen store and secure a total refund for my meal. I then place my order again and they rushed it out to me. WOW!! Amazing service performed quickly and professionally!! How absolutely refreshing.

This place is amazing. The atmosphere is wonderful, and the service was impeccable. The management on duty 7/11/24 at 7:28 pm. Was outstanding. My TikTok friends and I were really impressed. We had great food and the bartender made us feel like family.

Stopped by on a Friday for lunch, and it was so good! We were there with kids and were happy when all 3 of our orders came out within 5 minutes despite the lunch crowd! Everything was so good- highlights were the freshly made soft flour tortillas, the fresh chips, and the trailer park taco. The kids chicken tenders were delicious too! We will definitely be back!
