If you re looking for ice-cold draft beer, this place has you covered. Theyve got a solid selection, including Shiner Bock, Yuengling, Blue Moon, Voodoo Ranger IPA, Michelob Ultra, and more. Bonus: $1 off everything during happy hour! *** However, be prepared for a 5% handling fee if you use a credit card*** Also, the AC seems to be out, so they re relying on swamp coolers to keep things somewhat comfortable. Inside, its pretty dark with all the windows covered by curtains, giving it a slightly shady vibe. The place has concrete floors and a spacious layout. There are two dart boards and two pool tables if youre looking for some entertainment. Its a decent place to hang out, but expect the usual suspects in this neighborhood bar. The staff seem to be ok for the most part.

I hate to have to make this review because I actually enjoy coming here but the manager Johnathan is unprofessional. If you choose to come her and spend money on drinks, DO NOT use any bank cards, use only cash. On 08-30-2024, I bought 2 drinks both $8.40. On 09-01-2024, I received a alert from my bank that Babcock Social Pub updated the transaction amount from $8.40 to $18.40 on both transactions. That same day I attempted to go speak with someone about this, I was told the manager Johnathan was not in, the lady at the bar told me to leave my information and he would call me. He never called, and every time I call up there no one answers. Very unprofessional. So again, great spot, great music and drinks, but beware someone is doing some back end stuff updating transactions days later from the original amount charging ppls cards. USE CASH ONLY !

Don t waste your time here. Go somewhere else like Little Woodrow s or Dive Bar down the street. Service sucks and they disrespect you. The old cowboy bouncer needs to learn some manners and training on being respectful to customers. We will never be back.

1:00am 6-16 my wife and I asked for Draft beer and unfortunately it was not too cold. It happens.. We asked the Bartender if she can give us a chill mug or colder beer politely and her words oh we dont do that, we just have plastic cups. Were a simple bar This bar is not simple.. its a nice bar with variety but she was too busy playing pool with customers so we left the warm beer. We live down the street and will not be back

After roughly 2 years since coming here, I realized they are a bit rude. So I stopped drinking, and I think Im gonna stop going here. Theres plenty of eye candy there, but character should be the goal. If our character matched our physical appearance, this world would be a better place. Still, I believe in valor and virtues within people. But if youre looking to be a Judas or looking for a Judas look no further, this is the place for you.

I definitely have my favorite bartenders! Overall staff is friendly , beer always cold, plenty of room even on a packed night and the DJ definitely plays some hits. Outdoor area also is big. Could use some privacy or something to block from the street side Overall my favorite bar close by.

The male bartender was extremely rude. Told him I was ignored from ordering and then asked if I wanted to complain or order a drink. This is a pretty good bar to go on most days. It all depends on the Bar tender really. I have had hits and misses. They seem to only pay attention to their regulars and at times its really annoying froms standing there a long time. Other than that one time I got server a jack and coke with no jack in it and I had to dispute my drink so be aware of that. Like I said its all up to the bar tender.

all the female bartenders are thirsty af for male attention . i come with my husband or at least use to 3 times a week when Lizzetee was our bartender . now if Ryan is not there we don t want to come at all . every time there s a new female bartender they only entertain the guys and barely give service to any other customers . so ridiculous. we came in last night for 2 coronas and it was empty but the bartender was flirting with guys so we sat for 5 minutes before getting 2 coronas . like really? i normally get a gin margarita and i decided to play it safe because why would i want a mixed drink from someone who barely noticed we were there ?

Came here on 1/15 expecting to have a good time and have good food . Ordered food never got it . Waited over a hour they said it was a miscommunication on their part . The cook was wearing a green shirt and wanted to get smart with me saying I put in your order but I decided to cancel since it was over a hour. The bartender kept coming up with excuses saying five more minutes. I have never felt so disrespected in establishment. Keep in mind. This was on a Sunday and the owner. If you are looking at the cook was wearing a green shirt. Relay the message to your staff .

Don t Go here unless you want to be treated rudely, hit, and he ignored by the staff. Myself and my friend just had the worst experience on her birthday here. First when we walked in the bouncer asked us for our IDs, as I grabbed my purse and moved towards the table right by the door to the left this man hit me on my shoulder, while rudely repeating he needs to see my ID. My friend witnessed him hitting me. When I told him I was going to put my purse on the table to find my ID he made a rude face and turned his back to me. When I showed him my ID he ignored me and then grabbed it from my hand and threw it back at me. Then me and my friend went to the bar where two of the bartenders and a bar back proceeded to ignore us, even after we tried to get their attention several times. They simply laughed and talked with each other. One of the female bartenders turned to look at us and rudely rolled her eyes and gave us her back while she continued to talk to the other female bartender, and other male worker behind the bar. It was not packed at all to where you could say we were not seen, In fact it was pretty dead tonight as it was Wednesday, and when we walked up to the bar one of the bartenders was at the machine and we stood right next to her before she walked off to take care of some thing else, but when she was done with the person she was attending she proceeded to ignore us and all other customers there. This Staff has extremely poor customer service skills, and it won t surprise me one bit if this bar shuts down within months

Great music along with being a chill bar. They have pool tables and such. The design of everything is beautiful. I m aware these things aren t businesses fault, but the time I went there there was a shootout between two customers on the outside of the bar. The bouncer at the door made me feel a little safe minus the possibility of me and my friends getting shot. I still recommend this place the bartender was very sweet, just maybe during opening hours.

Good local spot. Has pool tables and a large patio area. It was kinda dead when we went but dont tell that to the DJ. Dude was spinning them jams at top volume like it was Miami crunk in there. I woulda been a little happier if the volume would have been a bit lower to fit the atmosphere. But overall chill spot. Not sure when the busy days are but Im sure they have em. Not sure if they have a dart board. I think I saw one but I kinda remember it being inaccessible as the pool tables blocked it off since someone was playing on them.

The waitress stated we had to open a tab not pay as you go. (Lie) I opened a tab but closed it with cash. Looked at my bank online. Saw my card was charged. There was also another charge for a different amount on another day. I only been there once ever. They would not credit by my card right away I had to make a claim with my bank. If you go do not give them your card. When I spoke to the manager he stated you DO NOT HAVE OPEN A TAB. Will not go back not even for the comp drinks they offered. They do not have my trust. I would not recommend this place to a friend.

I ve been really disappointed in our last couple of visits to Babcock Social. It has been our favorite bar since it opened, but not recently. A couple of weeks ago, my husband and I were turned away at the door because I had open-toed shoes. Unless there is a new finding that you can get COVID by wearing sandals, I m not sure why that s no longer allowed. We had to go all the way home to change my shoes and then come back, only to see people with open-toed shoes sitting at the tables! This weekend, we came by because our friend was having his birthday party. It was not crowded by any means. There were plenty of tables left throughout the night. Over the course of the night, we claimed 3 tables in the corner by the DJ. We were all 1 party. We did not go up to the bar and we wore masks when we went to the bathroom. But at 1am the bouncer told us to leave because we were standing too much! Seriously? Is the new rule that we have to stay seated? We were only interacting with our party and between our tables. I understand it s the bouncers job to keep everyone in check, but if I m staying within my party and at my tables, what is the issue there? What s the point of going out if I have to stay seated? Might as well just stayed on my couch. I have looked at the executive orders regarding bars/restaurants reopening, I can t see anywhere that it says we have to stayed seated. If I am wrong, I welcome the education. Thank you for hearing me out. Babcock Social has lost some regular customers.

Best 3 pieces of bar food we ve ever ordered. We were not disappointed by a single thing. The Chicken Tacos were the BEST chicken tacos I ve EVER had. The street corn was perfect and the chicken wings were crunchy on the outside, soft on the inside and full of flavor. The atmosphere is great. They have a DJ playing awesome music on a Tuesday night. You will really like this place. Happy hour pours are fair and the bartender Georgie will take good care of you. Plus, the food is prepared fresh and is very good. The Chicken Tender are exactly what they are, very tender and yummy and the fries are seasoned just right. Do yourself a favor, go by and play some games, eat some good food and have a drink to wash it all down. Remember to tip your servers!
