I was told about this place by my coworker. I decided to come tonight and Im so glad I did. Ive never had agua Chile de ribeye but thats what was recommended so I went for it and Im sure glad I did, that plate was very delicious and probably the best dish Ive had in either Midland or Odessa. I really liked the way this place is set up, it has a regular restaurant to the left and the bar area to the right. They also have a patio which has two big screens to watch sporting events. They have Pay-Per-view sporting events boxing or UFC fights. The waitress told me. The bar area has plenty of TVs and the restaurant I was told does as well. Before I left, I heard live music playing in the restaurant, I dont know which days they have live bands since I went on a Thursday. I bet this place is really good to hit up on a Friday or Saturday night. Give this place a try and I bet youre going to like it just as I did.

The salsa and the service is really the only good thing to hype up here. Ask them for the spicy salsa and they will come make it in front of you while also slowly adding heat to your preference. The food is alright. Not the best but definitely not the worst. I had the carne asada and it was mediocre at best. Service is decent all the times I ve been here. They do sort of leave you alone once the food comes so you ll have to flag someone down to get more drinks.

The food was really bad, the service was embarrassing. We needed a couple of things for our table. Our waitress was to busy talking with other people on the staff, pretending to sit and wipe a table off while talking to another employee. Didnt come check on us and we had to ask someone else for help. We even tried to wave her down but she didnt even notice. On top of that she could hardly speak English. The chips and salsa was like they serve in mexico so want good at all. Too much like real mexican food not enough tex mex. I dont think they will do well her. The beef Fajitas were so bad i didnt finish them and just left the rest. To me a waitress should ask if you want a to go box. But she didnt give af at all about her job. I would never go back to this place was way to exsensive for really bad food. Dont waste your time trying this place. They should be embarrassed

The prices are super high for a mediocre place. I ordered shrimp a la diabla and the tails werent even taken off for me. I had to get my hands full of sauce like I was eating wings. The wait staff is nice but not like a at a fine dinning restaurant which is what I expect with the prices they have here. Also gratuity was add when it was just me and my fiance. The total bill was $310. I definitely wont be back because Id rather travel or fine dine with that amount of money

For Fathers Day, our adopted son took us out to eat after church. We enjoyed our delicious dinner and drinks. I highly recommend this place. They even make you very own salsa at your table if you ask for spicy. We definitely will come back cz the bone marrow was delicious.

Ribeye Aguachiles is the best entrée I have had in a mexican restaurant in years and I am willing put my reputation on the line! Ok, lets be real, my reputation doesnt mean much to anyone, but me! I can say this much though, how many times have you had a bad plate at any restaurant? I am sure it happens more often than you want to admit. Why not just come by OCHO 80 and ask for the Ribeye Agua Chile, especially if you like Aguachiles and Ribeye, the combination is incredible! It is worth it, my mouth is watering as we speak!

Would love to be an investor if they decide to expand north or to other cities!! Magnificent food every time weve been. People complaining about pricing need to understand that this isnt the Mexican food place thats typical in Midland. Its different, which is good. Its higher quality recipes and higher quality touch, which is going to cost more. Great atmosphere, great food, and drinks. Midland needs more of this creativity when opening more Mexican food places. Dont have a problem with the food prices. My only knock is the forced gratuity charge. I believe in tipping well, just not forced gratuity.

The truth is a very bad experience... Absolutely, 10 out of 10!!! We had dinner here last night. I see alot of people complaining about the price but trust me its worth it! The service, food, atmosphere is so worth the price! Steak here is amazing!!! Shrimp on the steak was amazing! All of the food was full of flavor! Best mexican food anywhere! This is not tex mex! This is authentic! White rice is on point! Will be back! We are a family of 5 our bill was $240 which already included the tip which was a $34 tip. We added another $20 for a tip because the service was perfect! Total of 5 full plates, kids drinks, margarita and one michelada and one beer! Kids get a free ice cream with their meal. By far best place to eat!

Food was exceptional. I ordered the tomahawk ribeye. Probably the best steak I ever had. Was no price on the menu as was market value. I didnt expect them to add gratuity as it was just 1 person. I added the lobster tail for an extra $20. Bill came out to 249.00 with 34.19 gratuity included. Was my birthday, so I was treating myself. But didnt expect that high of a bill. But I was prepared. Even dropped another $20 cash to the waitress as she did an exceptional job.

The only flaw that I can find would be the prices but it still leaves you with the feeling that the price compared to the food can be fair, another detail is that as a customer you appreciate good farewells and on my visit there was no one Whoever said goodbye to us or thanked us, personally I have no problem but for the experience as a customer there was a lack of more attention when arriving and leaving.

Very loud Tejano music was blasting inside while you eat. Strange since there was was sounded like live music outside for a bit. Got the Ribeye steak which was very thin with no flavor at all. Vegetables and mash potatoes were delicious though. Didnt get a refill for awhile at first but then they started coming more often. Rather pricey for bland tasting food to be honest. The big Tomahawk steak was 4lbs apparently costing $50 per pound!!! Yikes.

Food is always fresh and delicious, it is not Tex Mex or the type of Mexican food most people in west Texas are familiar with. The seafood is so fresh! Service is , we have never had a bad experience and it s nice to get good service for a change in Midland. The restaurant is clean and fast! We love it! Its very much a sports bar vibe. Wall to Wall large screen TVs, from my seat I can see 10 fairly well. Extremely loud inside, not a restaurant atmosphere. Loud music and a signature of hoot and hollering. On a Sunday night, this is one of the few restaurants open in Midland. So it was very busy. This is the Wyndham hotel restaurant and can be accessed from inside the hotel or via a separate door to the parking lot. Cheese dip was a white cheese, not bad flavor. The whole red snapper is the reason I stopped by. Need to order this with extra Diablo sauce. Extremely salty, but I love salt! Would be great to share on date night! I would go back, but dont expect to have a conversation with anyone without yelling.

I was traveling from Los Angeles to Atlanta, and along the way I found this hidden gem. Its located about 3 miles away from the tesla superchargers and there is a hotel connected directly to a Wyndham hotel. Perfect place to recharge and recharge!!

THE BEST In midland Tx, You cannot miss the delicious food in this place, apart from the fact that they make you feel like at home The best place for seafood food you cant miss it! The food is very good, very good seasoning and variety of food, they have food that you will not find anywhere else, you will not regret it, apart from the fact that they treat you like at home

Know Spanish or go with someone who does. Its a nice place, well lit with TVs surrounding the restaurant. The music is all Spanish and its more miss than hit. I had the chicken fajitas with rice, beans and guacamole. Fajitas were ok but lacked flavor ( had to add salt, which is something I very rarely do to my food) waitress was very nice but only spoke Spanish.

Awful fried fish. Very smelly. Tasted very bad. Got the oysters , those werent cold. Ceviche was Flavorless, more like water n chile. Fish Tacos please dont get any. Youll regret it
