The food was super small and the Samsón was delicious, some red enchiladas with rice and beans with Carne ariba, delicious, their green rice was very well given, and some chiles water, which mmmm really delicious, everything was very delicious and to top it off, a 2 xx beer and a mango margarita that ended up giving a good flavor to everything, good atmosphere and the waitress was great, very friendly, we had a short talk but very helpful, attentive and apart from that she took our photos with great care, in truth, in that time, something was not seen in midland So really go and take a look, you wont regret this place, a 10 out of 10 in everything.

Another lame wannabe Mexican restaurant serving up the same items you find at every spot in Midland. Overpriced bland food from the nastiest salsas they provide with chips, to the cold but presentable entrees. Save your money and go eat at Taco Bell

My family and i went here for lunch on Sunday. This was our second visit. Our first visit was great! The food was tasty and service was good. This second visit however, was not great. One, there were several available tables and we still had to wait 15min. There were 4 adults and one baby in our party. The menu was limited due to a special brunch menu. The food was ok , small portions for the price. $18 for pastor tacos and no sides. We ordered queso which is $5, no biggie. The waitress brought her hand held tablet to check us out, i could not see the itemized receipt as it was on her tablet in her hands. She said it was $101, which seemed high, but i gave my card to pay and she handed me the tablet to select top amount, i left a $20 tip. The waitress asked if i wanted a receipt and i said yes, printed. To my surprise on the actual ticket i was charged a 17% tip of $18, so the amount the waitress told me included and $18 tip, which she failed to tell me the tip was included in the $101. So she got a $38 tip for mediocre service. She had also charged us for 2 quesos and we only got 1. Very disappointing second visit.

Wow, what an amazing place to experience, you have to visit! Friendly staff and overall great service. Waitress was fun and upbeat to talk with. This waitress brought extra interaction while dining out with a friend. The food and dessert were delicious, and the presentation was spectacular!

The restaurant looks great! Lunch menu is limited but if it s for faster lunch service, I m all for it. As an appetizer, we ordered the queso fundido. I prefer more of an asadero type cheese rather than melted shredded cheese (which is tough) but it had good flavor. The corn tortillas it came with though, are extremely tough and hard to chew (I didn t eat those and scooped cheese on a spoon ) The tortillas seemed to be heated in the microwave. For our main dish we ordered the two salads available. The salads looked great but weren t made as directed by the menu. I ordered a wedge salad with blue cheese and croutons (which is my favorite type of salad) but it didn t have blue cheese nor croutons instead it came with pecans and an avocado dressing. I don t eat avocado or pecans so I didn t eat it. My wife s strawberry salad was supposed to come with a strawberry vinaigrette dressing and instead came with ranch on it and missing croutons and other key ingredients. When we told the waitress about it, she said that s how the chef makes it even though the menu says something else. I know it seems like I m being picky but if that s the way you make it, I m fine with it but please put the correct description so that I know if I want to order it or not. I won t go back simply for the fact that I don t know what I m getting.

I was delighted with the attention of the lady who served us, she told us her name was DANIELA, super cute, she made us feel at home, that was the best thing of the night, but the place is spectacular, I will return and recommend it to all my friends, the spectacular food, anyway. everything wonderful. We had the combo beef chicken fajita plate. There was too much veggies, veggies were thicker than the meat. Very minimal meat. One thin dried tortilla cut in half. Flavor for fajitas was not bad. No flavor for rice, refried beans were good. Salsa was good but need a bigger serving bowl to use waffer thin chips. The decor was nice and bright. Service staff was attentive.

Expensive for the portion size and you are very limited to the food options Especially for lunch. I ordered a queso for my chips and they brought out a very very small cup and they charged me $6.00 I thought they had brought out a sample portion. The cheese tastes like chalk.

We celebrated a family birthday on the first day Pura Vida. The place was beautiful and the hostess sat us immediately. There was a festive atmosphere and all the employees seemed so happy to be there and were frankly, very beautiful!! Ivett Buira, our server, was very gracious! The food was great-very generous portions. Something for everyone-even steak and burgers. The bar was open and service was fast!

Very clean, the service is amazing and the food spectacular. Also has separate areas where if you want to eat with the kids you can, and if you want to have a few drinks and eat some amazing food you can eat in the bar or outside. Today, we had the pleasure of dining at Antojo Pura Vida. What a beautiful restaurant with an amazing atmosphere and staff! We started with the ceviche, which was absolutely amazing and so refreshing. The red chicken enchiladas were fantastic, and the tacos de arrachera were on point. The drinks, including the carajillo and the Pura Vida mojito, were delicious and quenched our thirst perfectly. I definitely recommend Pura Vida for an exceptional dining experience!
