Very good stay for a very good price. I didnt get her name but the lady who checked me in last night told me the booking site I used hadnt actually sent them the money for the room. When I went to show her the money came out of my account she said dont worry about it and checked me in. She also gave me a late checkout since I was getting in so late.

If you are traveling for business and will need internet do not stay here i was there for a week and it was hard to have a connection. Also the hot water is not hot ever you get luke warm water always even cold water is not cold, lastly unfortunately the pictures do not accurately describe this hotel it is extremely dated and although I know it is on the mire economic side it should accurately describe the hotel and rooms.

This place is ok. My main problem is the smell of food in the lobby and hall ways. I wish the place did not smell of food all the time. Midland is an oil and gas town, with allot of traveling men working in this industry, who typically smoke. So the place has the mild smell of smokers. The staff is amazing and friendly. The Ocho 8 restaurant on the property is great food. It s just the smells for me that s off putting. Rooms: Rooms are average and clean. Walkability: Midland is not a walkable town

Owner & manager are 100% aware that the the 2nd floor of the hotel has trouble with hot water , it should be illegal to rent those rooms out or atleast warn customers about the water issue. Decent hotel be warned there is no hot water when you try to shower, edit came here & stayed 2 more nights 2 months later , they gave me a room that spat out yellow water & they still do not have hot water. .

I recently stayed at this hotel and had an exceptional experience! The staff were warm and welcoming, the room was immaculately clean and comfortable, and the facilities were top-notch. What truly stood out was the outstanding service - every staff member was friendly, helpful, and went above and beyond. I highly recommend the Wyndham Garden in Midland for its comfortable accommodations, excellent facilities, and exceptional staff. I cant wait to return!

Visiting from Dallas. Location is convenient. On a main road, 2 blocks away from my family s house. Literally walking distance, but way too hot to walk. Staff was friendly, hallways were sketchy. My partner said it looked like a prison. The rooms were decent, clean and cold rooms.

We were in room 229 and in 227 their were two small boys that talked all night. At 1215am we ask them to keep it down and they told us No, mind your on business we then call the front desk as they never took care of it!!! No sleep for our room. The front desk was almost always not there, very disappointing!!!. This Hotel smells funny also. Just beware when you schedule.

Don t let the Wyndham name fool you like it did us. Right out of the gate they charged us for my certified service dog. Our room smelled of chemicals and the toilet was leaky. And on top of all that the air conditioner didn t cool anything off. So they get one star for having a room but everything else was just sub par for the Wyndham name.

This place sucks. As I came to check in, the pool started flooding into the dining area. When I got to my room, there were no towels and crumbs on the floor. The water pressure is low and it takes 20 minutes to get warmish water, sometimes it never heats up. No idea how this place is supposed to be a 3 star hotel. Hampton or Holiday inn would be better.

Everything was good first day, even laat year we had a birthday here and it was amazimg everyone was so helpful but this year the ladys here are horrible ruined my sisters day making us rush to go do the cake cause she got all mad and raised her voice at my mother while she told her to calm down no one else raised their voices but she got all mad still and while I went to get the cake with my sister she was talking bad about us and our party on the phone with someone got me mad but no one talked back to her even after how rude she kept being to us. While we were cutting the cake from the front she kept glaring at us while we cut and ate the cake.

Checking in & checking out went very well front desk attendant (Kacey) was awesome she greeted us, had a very positive attitude full of smiles and was very helpful with prices on rooms. Was charged a $50 hold for accidentals. OK no worries - parties planned here. Said we (me, my grown daughter, a six year old and four year old) - stained the linens. Excuse me. NO we did not. I came in town for work for a day and needed a place to stay, I booked my reservation with Priceline, upon checking in the receptionist Rachael mentioned that the cable/tv wasn t working I told her since I was just the night that was ok, I asked her if the other amenities worked and she mentioned yes, I stayed in room 314. I tried taking a shower however the water was dirty and unusable so I figured I ll let the tap run for a bit the water never changed color I eventually fell asleep and thought this would resolve by morning, that never happened I was unable to brush not take a bath, the shower head didn t work the water was dirty I will be writing a detailed email and send this out for compliance, customers safety is paramount, in no way should we pay for accommodation and expectations and safety aren t met, I spoke to the manager and she stated that s the norm in their hotel I have never experienced this before I have stayed at several hotels in midland/ Odessa area, she mentioned Priceline needed to call the property for a refund However Priceline has tried 3 times and no one seems to pick up unfortunately a Priceline agent just called and Racheal the night receptionist told them she was not going to be approving the refund I am not sure if there is a gap in communication or there is a lack of integrity with the entire staff and facility

Excellent little hotel. Clean, decent hot breakfast. The sausage gravy and biscuits were delicious. Very inexpensive as well. Heated, indoor pool was very nice. Rooms: The rooms were very clean. My wife normally is grossed out at most hotels, but she was pleased with this one. The only issue was a broken toilet seat, but we managed. Beds were very comfortable. All in all, great stay.

We were at the hotel on 03/28-03/31, Service was good but the rooms need work, the sink didn t drain to well, the microwave didn t work and the water would get hot for a couple of minutes and go cold. Hotel is dated but not too bad. Sink was clogged but a simple flush got it flowing again. The drain just had a bunch of build up on it. Shower is decent with a nice adjustable shower head but no hose attachment. Hot water can be a bit of an issue if you just flushed the toilet. After a couple mins the hot water stays hot though. Left a lil tip the second night for housekeeping service to supply towels everyday. Got new towels today but just shower towels. Guess they forgot the hand and shower mat towels though. Not too big of deal. Well see how the next week goes. They offer laundry service that you leave with the front desk and takes 24hrs to get back. They say its washed and folded too so Ill drop them off tonight and see. Not sure of the price yet. Got a simple King room that has plenty of room with a nice L couch. The TV stand has 3 drawers, a lil slide out tray for snacks ect, small 700watt microwave, mini fridge that has a freezer section, and about a 32 led TV. No screen sharing options in the older LG TV though. There is a regular size office/work table with 1 120v outlet for a laptop but also shared with the mini coffee maker. No need to make coffee when they have 3 big pots of coffee downstairs though. Breakfast is simple waffle maker, eggs, yogurt, milk, coffee kinda setup. Coffee often runs low but Im sure if they are empty they can refill rather quickly. A couple of issues is that the bathroom door is very close to the toilet so it must be closed if showering or using the toilet. As well as the bathroom fan is a bit loud. Also, the AC is very loud even on low. High isnt a big difference but both are rather loud. Loud enough that you cant hear the TV or anything on your phone when the ac fan is running. Surprisingly enough the filters in the ac were clean. Not many hotels ever clean them so props on that. Over all staff has been very helpful and friendly anytime I asked for anything. If you need towels, tp, Kleenex ect the front desk has them. After a new trip staying at a new location I have to drop some stars. This place is much worse than some newer hotels and in need of an update.

Would not stay again even if was just for 1 night! Showered in cold water for 2 nights. Had no towels for pool or room. Towels in room were used with hair all over them. Hotel is a little rundown. Beds are okay. 1 front desk girl was sweet others were not professional at all. Breakfast was OK not the best but wasnt bad either. Came to midland for a baseball tounamnet this past weekend. Stayed 2 nights. When we arrived the sweet girl at the front desk was very welcoming sadly I didnt get her name . We had a great conversation while I waited for my husband to unload our luggage. We had originally reserved and king room with a sofa pullout. She was nice enough to let us know a double came available and would be best for our family size. That was the only good thing about our stay! Mind you we checked in about 1 a.m settled in by 1:30 a.m jumped in the shower. Shower had no pressure what so ever and the water would not get hot just lightly warm. We were exhausted and just dealt with it. Next day after being at the fields all day in the cold and rain. I come to the hotel room ready for a warm shower while my husband and 3 kids go jump in the hot tub down stairs. My husband called for pool towels cause there werent any down stairs. The front desk lady (different from the first one) said there were no pool towels left. We also needed towels for the room. As there were 2 in there for a family of 5 and 1 was used with blonde hair all over it. The front desk lady mentioned she only had 2 room towels. So we used one for all 5 to shower n the other to dry after the hot tub. I jumped in the shower and the water was COLD no slightly warm just COMPLETELY COLD and no water pressure again. The front desk lady told us to mess with the sink and do this and that and itd get hot. Well her plumbing directions didnt work. Then she said she could move us next door. Mind you its the 2nd night and we are completely settled in and exhausted from baseball the last we want to do is move EVERYTHING next door. We talked to the front desk 3 times pretty mad about the situation and she showed no sympathy but to move next door. After I showered in cold water and rinsed my kids off in cold water I asked if my husband can just shower in the room next door with out moving everything. She let him but he said the water pressure was the same. And the water started off warm and mid shower got cold again. The excuse for everything was theres too many people in the hotel room. And thats it. My husband mentioned right before check out that room 314 is no good and people should not be staying in that room. And he just got stared at and an Im sorry we travel ALOT and Ive never left a bad review on any hotel. This is the first and the worst!

Start off with the pictures of the hotel is very deceiving. The pool looks nothing like the photo on the website. The receptionist walked into the pool area to inform us we couldn t have a bottle water or a styrofoam cup with a lid in the seating area. I wanted to address the issue that she should be more concerned about the safety of their guest than the drinks. The pool was rusting, there was a light dangling inside the pool by its wires and very strong smell of urine. Honestly we were ok just leaving the pool area. The room was not the cleanest This hotel definitely needs an inspection done for the safety and security of their guest. Rooms: Do not recommend until OSHA does inspection

Today, Sunday, February 4, we left very early at 9:00 am and returned at 8:40 pm and the beds in room 314 and 316 were not tidy and when we went to reception the only information was that the staff had already left. .... that there is no one to supervise the work of these employees???, and they do not provide a solution!! Hey guys! Chris again doing a review on the Wyndham Hotel. Just for backstory sake I have to say Ive stayed here, involuntarily, 3-4 times before and Im just not a fan. It ALWAYS smells like marijuana, ALL the time.. especially on the elevators. Huge turn off for me. They allow dogs, which is fine, but shouldnt be if your dog has separation anxiety, like two different dogs did during my last stay (a few days ago). Theres never enough hot water, the breakfast consists of the same as every other hotel with freeze dried/or fake eggs and meats..they used to have this girl that worked the kitchen that was pretty hot so Id power through but I didnt see her this time.. I also hate the bathroom setup and the shampoo they have..it smells so freakin weird and dries your hair out.. Final conclusion - wouldnt stay or recommend..

Everything was fine as far as comfort goes for the price it matches its point but there are pegs sticking out on the sides of some of the beds, babies or your calves will pay a price. I posted a photo. The hot water ran out at around midnight shortly after we arrived , which I shouldnt be too surprised on a sat night midnight im sure the hot water was already working hard at that time. Upon walking in, a quick glance at the lovely lobby, bar, and pool make you feel its worth of the $110 youre paying. Should be $60. After walking down the hall way to your room its like walking into a whole other building as if only the front was remodeled and this was previously a red roof or something. Walking into the room confirmed it was more motel 6 than anything. Everything is old, outdated, dirty, and dusty. I used countless disinfectant wipes and spray. Only thing clean was the bed but there were some small stains that bleach couldnt get out I suppose. As we walked to the pool... I noticed there were no bubbles when approaching. The water looked cold and still. The bottom of the pool was visibly rusty. I stuck a toe in and ofcourse it was cold. Walking to the bar I noticed the lobby wasnt as lovely as before after I took a deeper looked. It was the decor that tricked me visually. But other than the above and to include the air conditioner not working, 2 dead bugs in the room, & bathroom door not opening completely... the two ladies at the front was nice. Hopefully this review provide the feedback needed to implement the necessary changes. This hotel does have the potential to be great. Should I flip hotels too?

Elevator doesn t work, doors upstairs to the hallways don t open with a key. Had to walk all over the place to figure it out. Front desk lady didn t explain beforehand. She seemed to get a laugh out of it when customers finally came back around to her for directions on how to reach the rooms. All door handles had built up stickiness over time. Frankly, I do NOT recommend anyone stay here. You read it here first, YOU DESERVE BETTER THAN THIS. LOOK ELSEWHERE. Overall, this hotel is Nasty/Inconvenient/Unprofessional.

We chose this hotel because it has a heated indoor pool. Upon checking in, I inquired if the pool was heated, and I was told that they believe so. No one complained about it. When we actually went to go swimming I found it locked and upon inquiring, I was told it was closed and needed to be repaired. It possibly may fixed tomorrow. The room was not as expected. It would have been better if the first lady I talked to had told me that the pool was broken so I could have possibly made other plans. Very disappointed. Originally planned on staying 2 nights, but now only 1.

The room was very dark even with the lights on. It was clean but did not look clean. I had my covid19 cleaning stuff with me. Made sure I sprayed the bed real good. Had long walks to the elevator and one was broken. Rooms: Rooms darker than the should of been. Walkability: Had to walk as ways from parking your car plus inside. rooms are adequate. housekeeping is much better here than the la Quinta we stayed last year. only problem here is getting breakfast. they offer it but the help is in no hurry to keep containers full. it is helpful to speak Spanish as the employees dont respond to english.

As a Wyndham member this place is no where near what I am use to. The suite I got didnt have room for the sofa bed to come out even half way. We also found the last guest hair items and went to tell the front desk and was told to move the sofa. No offer was given to move or make it right. Breakfast lady was rude we asked if she was going to refill and she said what open the container to show her at 8 am everthing was empty she said what then walked away. We decided to go out for breakfast after that. Nats were throughout the hotel. When we asked about jacuzzi she said they have to shut down the whole system. Which was no big deal. Even upon check out no one asked how my stay was at all. Very disappointed with Wyndham I expect more.

Check in person was fine, but explained the pool was closed. Decor looks like it was designed during the Jimmy Carter administration. Got to the room, the ice machine on my floor doesnt work. Go down for breakfast the next morning (1.5 hours after breakfast hours start) there is nothing out. No coffee....nothing. When i ask about it. I am told they are running late. Late? Breakfast is half over. So dont count on breakfast. Basically its an old worn out badly maintained property and had little, if any, staff to operate it. I would avoid it if possible.

4/19/2023 Super sub par. We booked a week out and when we arrived we were told they didn t have the room we booked available. The Room itself and the bathrooms are small and dingy. TVs are from 2011 and small. One side lamp didn t even have a plug within reach I had to run a 8ft cord to plug it in. Breakfast was very mediocre and the juice dispenser only produced water. The toast they had was more like a crouton. Bagels were rock hard. The employee clock out book is directly in the way of guests checking in so if there s a line and you are waiting to check in and it s shift change you ll wait longer. The employees are rude about it and don t care if there is 8 people waiting to check in.

Lobby was probably the only best looking part of the hotel. Room had a foul smell, probably from the old carpet and air unit. Carpet in hallways were stained and old, including the paint in the hotel. Went to front desk to order more towels, none were ever brought to my room as promised. This place is nasty, it looks like it once was a great hotel but is run down, uncared for, they left two giant bins of trash in the hall way in front of my room, the bath room behind the door was left nasty and unswept/mopped for ages, they haven t vacuumed the floors for sure. It looks like they put fresh paint on the walls but forgot to clean the rooms, they don t even change burnt out light bulbs, and forget about getting a hot shower, you get cold to Luke warm. If you need an extremely cheap place to stay it s about as cheap as you ll find but I m positive you can get cleaner for the same price. So update after three days stick at the hotel the trash bins are still in front of my door I m Glad I finally get to check out. If I hadn t prepaid I would have left the first night.

This place is the bomb. I even got to bring my fur baby! Our room was a little messy and things were chewed up and torn but Im sure they assumed my dog is going to tear everything up. The pool use to be heated but this time it was freezing. The hot tub was also same temp as the pool. There was a woman at the front that was hesitant about fixing mine and my husbands room keys because they werent working anymore. She asked if we had the same last name and then I clicked that she probably thought I was a lady of the night. Which was pretty offensive and not to mention it was already my third day there. No big deal though. Me and my kids are having so much fun here while my hubby has to work. Restaurant is delicious but pricey. But definitely worth it. The housekeepers and the ones making breakfast are great. Theyre super nice and always tell us hi or good morning. The breakfast is great. Not to mention theres an amazing seating area when you first walk in that has a gorgeous fireplace. Theres also a little store with some food and drinks for you to buy. I highly recommend any families, workers, or vacationers to stay here. You will not regret it. I would like to note we havent had any safety issues but we also dont go out late at night. The whole world is a dangerous place no matter where you go. When we vacation during the summer and stay at the Hilton, even they have signs to lock your vehicle at night. We travel alot and no matter what part of town youre in, theres homeless or drug addicts. If you dont want anyone in your room just put the do not disturb sign and call down to the front desk to make sure. Also, when I was younger my parents always told me dont leave anything out that you dont want stolen. I highly doubt any of the housekeepers would do this though. If something valuable was stolen from your room I would simply make a police report. The restaurant is not a club. It is a nice restaurant with a bar. There is no dance floor, bouncers, or anything you find at a club. We havent had any issues with it getting loud but it isnt the weekend yet so if that changes I will update. DO NOT STAY AT THE WYNDHAM GARDEN MIDLAND, TX!!!! Not only is this hotel in the worst part of town, a car was actively being broken into when we went to check in. When we went in to cancel our reservation the front desk manager CASEY, refused to give us any confirmation that it had been cancelled. We were charged for a two nights stay even though we never set foot inside a room. I filed a complaint with the corporate office. When they spoke with CASEY, she LIED and said we had stayed there. She basically stole $300 from us. Corporate is not willing to do anything about it. What a dishonest company. Cannot leave a bad enough review for how disgusting this company and they people they hire are. Whatever you do, DO NOT stay at Wyndham Garden and open yourself up to their theft.

Went to stay here with my mom because my sister is staying at another hotel close to this one with her ballet company thingy idk, but It literally took me and my mom 5 hours to drive here. The hotel is small, that s fine. I was thinking maybe it looked better in the room. Oh my god. No. Just no. The room is so small and the walls are super thin, I can t talk without worrying someone across the hall would hear me. I can hear people or kids just running around and thumping and sometimes talking. The TV is tiny and there s a weird VHS type quality on all the channels(also if it matters there s this gross looking brown stain on one of the curtains.)we originally booked this hotel for 3-4 days and now we re only staying in it tonight and decided to drive around and find a new one tomorrow. However on the bright side, the workers here are so super sweet and friendly, and just so much fun. That s why it s 2 stars. The place actually isn t so bad.

Checked in at 4:30pm on the way to a family funeral the next day. Great sweet staff was super nice. And checked us in without issues. Advised that the elevator was broken and to use a side entrance further down the building. Room size is great, but they still have a small TV with analog cable in 2023, really? The bed is super hard, it feels like an old bed spring mattress with 0 give. We both woke up in pain and sore in our hips and shoulders. Was not restful. Rooms: Clean, good sized. Fridge wasnt even on and thought it would have like a bottle of water in it but nope. Lamps and shades are dirty and need replacing. Carpets were clean but it just feels like the standards have either fallen off or no one is checking anything. Noteworthy details: Long walks in hallways, New office furniture it seems, and things are clean. Vending machines were $2 per 12oz. can.

Booking was easy and affordable. Cleanliness was good. However, when an incident occurred where another guest had mistaken my room for theirs, the overnight front desk tried opening our room in the middle of the night. We told her we don t know that man and that this is our room, and then she left. However, the next morning we went down for breakfast and the hotel manager and front desk supervisor was trying to gather details on what happened. The front desk supervisor, Casey, was extremely rude and unprofessional. She refused to believe our narrative and not once mentioned trying to talk to the man that was trying to get in our hotel room. Stated that my guest that I checked in with didn t do proper check in procedure as an additional guest. Which is understandable and we were willing to do a proper guest check in procedure, however, we were not once informed that my additional guest had to check in as well. Not once did she apologize that their staff incorrectly checked us in or tried to offer better ways that they could improve for the future. Casey was extremely unprofessional and for that reason, will never stay there again.

I ve called up there several times I get hung up on, and now being said, I want my money back that they had no rush take out they re gonna file harassment charges on me. Nice hotel, extremely rude and unhelpful staff . I was advised Front desk Jackie wasn t fully trained for her overnight shift and manager Casey was no help at all. I had stayed in touch calling the facility multiple times. When I showed up I was denied service till 7 am and was still charged for the date they swore I canceled.( even after multiple calls through the night) I was told I wasn t able to check in and was suggested to wait in my car over night. Manager was unhelpful as well. I was denied a refund and was treated as if I lied to get my money back.

This was a great place to stay, good location and great value. My room had everything new and remodeled and big comfortable bed and pillows, the room is super quiet and private! Cool Pool and Full-Service Bar is nice, but whats really nice is the 2nd-floor event floor, they did a great job with it. There are bars, fuel stations and food close by as well. Overall place exceeded expectations and for a great price! Staff is excellent as well, give them a shot, youll dig it

Zero hot water. Front desk was pretty rude and having side conversation as they were supposed to be checking me in. Security doors to get into the building weren t working so anybody was able to come in our out of all areas. To top it off It s been almost 2 weeks and my 2 $50 deposits haven t returned to my bank account and I doubt they ever will. I didn t have any incidentals charged to my room, I called and asked. So why am I not getting my money back? I even checked out of my room a day early because I couldn t stand staying any longer. Definitely listen to the reviews before staying here!

I have to stay at this hotel however, yesterday July 26th I went to book a room (with out a reservation). When I arrived there was a line of 10 guest or more waiting to be checked in. The clerk was very effective at getting people in other then having to wait on the system, from what I over heard being told to other guest. I believe it was a new system or the Internet was slow. She then encountered two guest, a man and woman, who had problems with their reservation and some one not being there to check in a room and they wanted the keys. Amongst other things. The guest was arguing with the clerk making threats and saying they were not one to be messed with. When the clerk told them politely that if they kept being rude she will refuse them service. After the clerk checked them in they still proceeded to yell across the lobby at the clerk. By this time the clerk was frustrated. I do think she was as respectful as anyone could of been during that situation. Unfortunately, I still had a number of people in front of me that were having issues checking in. Something about needing credit card authorization forms. I was really tired so I went and stay at another hotel. I just woke up thinking about yesterday and wanted to make sure that clerk got a good review. Especially since those guest were threatening to get her fired amongst other things. I do not know this young lady and I hope to encounter her when I do decide to stay at the hotel in the future. God bless.

Worst hotel experience ever. Wedding party blocked rooms for guest to reserve, they gave away reserved rooms. So some family members had to go find another hotel to stay at. Didn t include the wedding discount price. Gave us wrong rooms. Told me they would charge me a certain price & was charged $100 over. Manager said she would give me a call back after it was resolved. The customer service by Casey and Laura was outstanding! The water main break in Odessa flooded all Midland hotels. But Casey and Laura kept in contact with me until a cancellation occurred as I landed in Midland at 2200. I was stressed and to enter the lobby and see a smiling face was relieving. Very nice facility with a bar, pool and hot breakfast available. The GM Melinda followed up in the morning to make sure my stay was pleasant. The ladies were also very knowledgeable about the local food and bar establishments. You won t be disappointed with staying at the Wyndham Garden Midland facility.

We reserved a room with booking.com when we got there they gave us the keys we went up there and there were already people in our room we also told them that we had a service dog and they said they were pet-friendly the service dogs and when I got home I realized I charge my car $200 when we didnt even stay in the room so and then I called the lady she was very rude said there was dog hair in the bed and hang up on me how could there be dog hair in the bed when we didnt even stay there they gave the room to somebody else. After they gave us the keys we walked up went in and there were two men in the room already. And then they didnt even apologize or refund our money in fact they charge your card more money for having a service animal after they said service animals were welcomed the whole place was a joke the people are rude and they lied and our card never got refunded but Im in the process of talking to corporate and they have also said that this same lady has had complaints in the past for the same thing
