I absolutely love coming to Rusty s , I began coming every week and loved the new karaoke and music , it made the environment feel so much better and you could feel the family energy, I heard it was taken a way and I was so heartbroken :( I really hope they bring the speaker and microphones back so I can come and sing again with my friends !!!!

Extremely unwelcoming experience. The cashier didn t even attempt to greet us with [atleast] a fake smile, let alone make us feel welcome seem super bothered just taking our order. On top of that, our tacos were ice cold I m okay with paying $5 for a quality taco but this place was just not it. We used to love this place back in college but sorry never again! UPDATE: I hate to accuse any business without proof but this was the only thing I ate today and I, indeed, got food poisoning

Ordered 5 tacos and the salsa was missing for all 5. Not flavorful enough tacos to eat without salsa. The veggie fajita tacos were also missing the tater tots that it advertised, which was a bummer because that s why we ordered them. For $4 tacos, it was a major letdown.

If you re looking for actual good tacos, this isn t the place for it. The workers are rude and don t care to explain anything, and the food is way too overpriced. You could go to the Taqueria down the street and get 2-3 tacos for the price this place is charging for one. The flavor isn t even there either. Would never recommend this place over the countless amazing local Taquerias that deserve love and attention. Not some overpriced Taco Shop

This place is completely overpriced and for their poor service and lack of listening I m not a big fan. Also, their lunch tacos are actually gross. Their flavors are confusing and very gentrified or just don t make sense. Really disappointing cause I even gave their Birria Tacos a try and it was 95% meat and then like 1% cheese with 4% grease. The outside was even extremely soft. I keep giving this place a try but I really can t stand how much I have to clarify things. Also being charged for the eggs I m not gonna be putting into my taco is obsurd. When I brought it to the cashiers attention she just said okay so not happy.

We love the Rusty Taco! Every time we come up to Denton we end up here instead of trying somewhere new. The service is fast and friendly, and the food is delicious! We love their spicy queso! And even though we knew we didnt NEED a third taco each, we decided that we did! LOL We do wish that the dining area was a little better lit with more seating options. Lots of large tables, and not everyone wants to make new friends at dinner. Also, they could use another trash can or two. Meanwhile, I was too busy devouring my tacos to remember to take a photo of them!

I am sure this is a hit with the college kids, but for me it was a major disappointment for the price. I mean Im 6 foot 3, 275 lbs. I need my $4 tacos to be more than two bites. It sucks when you go to a taco shop and spend $13 then leave hungry. This aint San Francisco where people eat like 720 calories a day on average. This is Texas. We like to eat here. So unless youre going to put more than about 8 grams of meat on every taco, sorry dudes. No complaints about flavor. But I wish you guys would be honest and call the store Rusty micro taco. Those are hors doeuvres. You should have little toothpicks coming out the top so people can pick them up with two fingers and pop em. Apparently reading and paying attention to a DoorDash order is not possible with the staff at this place. I had included no pico instructions for the Taco Bowl I paid for, but it was disregarded by staff which made my food entirely inedible. The person at the cash register was unaware that there was even a DoorDash order expected for pickup. Overall, no sense of seeing to it that the customer is being well served. Staff should be replaced with more competent and attentive people who actually want to do the job correctly.

Bad service, drinks without alcohol and the small portions are a joke!!!! The ambience is a bad truck stop complete with the smell of bleach during you micro portion meal. How this place stays in business is beyond belief. Parking: BAD

Is there a way to give a place zero stars? Brisket taco was inedible unless you re a dog. Chicken fajita taco was really a veggie taco with two small pieces of chicken and the flavor was atrocious. If you like Velveeta, you re you will like their queso. Add that the smell of grease in the dining room you ve got yourself a winner.

Food is awful. But they really don t lead you to except much else. They load the drinks up with alcohol and feed you poor quality cooked food. A concept that seems to work in this college town but not for my taste. Likely won t return.

Morpheus did such a great job. He was kind and very attentive. He even came outside and took an order from us at our table and then brought the order to our table. Morpheus went above and beyond the expectations of service and hospitality.

My wife ordered chips and queso and a taco and they gave her chips and salsa and the taco was missing half the ingredients. When she offered to pay more for the queso shed ordered, they accuser her of not ordering correctly :/. Well take our business elsewhere

The people at the register are nice but the quality of the food preparation has gone WAY down. They literally put the lime wedges INSIDE your taco and they barely put any sauce. All the tacos are just like slapped together. For the price you re paying that s just insane. Unless they get new cooks or something I m done with this place. Also notice in my photo how they only put sauce on half the taco. This isn t worth the money whatsoever. Who do they have making the food there?

Ordered here for the first time tonight. Had the New Uptown taco without the sriracha and one with. Way better without. Very messy either way. Good tacos though. Chips and queso are very bland and plain. Tastes like Velveeta and Rotel. No thanks. I will stick with Torchys.

Great place for street tacos. Loved the Baja grilled shrimp and dynamite shrimp tacos. The corn tortillas aren t great but flour ones are really good. Recommended dishes Street Tacos

Staff were very nice, place was clean, and had great outdoor dining. (It s like 49 degrees and the heaters are GREAT). Food was really solid chain tacos. The tortillas (no butter, undercooked but still safe) and chips (brittle) were the weakest part but still delicious. We tried the brisket nachos, queso & chips, brisket taco, and the rusty taco (pork).

We love Rusty Tacos and eat here every time we come to Denton to see my son. The staff are very kind and we love how sometimes when you go on the weekend they have live musicians.

Really quick service even going on day of the dead when it was packed! Great selection of tacos and the nachos are a big portion! Also if you like sitting outside but don t like the cooler weather..their heaters outside work amazing! I will definitely will be stopping in more often!
