Boyd came as a recommendation. Everything seemed good leading up to the event. Had a through meeting where Boyd took detailed notes. Got the Best DJ. Had the entire playlist with notes and directions. When the DJ showed up he had no idea what was going on. Messed up the song order. Didn t know how to talk into the mic so it just sounded like he was mumbling. The equipment was cheap and the sound cut out multiple times. At one point I grabbed the Mic away from the DJ because no one could hear what he was saying. I would have been better off with a playlist on an IPOD.

Boyds events did our wedding this past November and our Dj Sarah was absolutely phenomenal! She was the life of the party and made sure everyone had a good time. Reed (the owner) will help answer every question you may have and reassure you the whole way through planning your event. I will most definitely be using and recommending Boyd s events again in the future.

We used Boyds Events to Dj for our wedding, and they were so awesome to work with! Reed was always so kind and professional every time we talked to him, and our Dj Edgar was absolutely amazing! He was so funny and entertaining, and even got out on the dance floor to dance with us. Everybody absolutely loved him! We are so happy that we hired them, and will definitely be hiring them again if we ever need a Dj for anything else. I highly recommend using Boyds Events if youre looking for a fun high energy dj to help liven up your event, trust me, you wont regret it!

Reed was so easy going made this process super easy whenever I had a question he would answer it would always make me feel comfortable talking to him. Our dj was jasmine. She was awesome. Super easy going like she told me she would be my wing man if I needed something throughout the wedding she would take care of it. She would make sure my guest were happy and enjoying themselves she would go out to the audience and interact. She was not awkward at all. And would play request if i or anyone else wanted a song and alot of djs refuse to do that. Super glad I went with Boyds Events!

We used Boyds Events for DJ, uplighting and photo booth services this weekend for my daughters sweet 16. Every thing turned out perfect. Edgar was our DJ and he did a fantastic job. His energy, interaction and positive attitude sure kept our guest dancing. Everyone was complimenting him and asking where we found him???? Not only can he DJ, but he gets out on the dance floor and dances to all the music he is playing. Thanks Edgar and Boyds Events for everything. We had a great time and made many every lasting memories that night with all of our friends and family. A special thanks goes to you Edgar for making my daughters sweet 16 so memorable. We will definitely be using your services for all our DJ needs.

I had the privilege of getting Reed himself to DJ for my wedding a week ago. He was so much more than I could have imagined. He had fun with my guests and he turned my Playlist (which I may have left a little on the ballad side ) into the most fun weve ever had. He kept guests so happy the entire time, dancing and having fun...even those guests who you wouldnt think would like to dance. I definitely would recommend using him and this will be my first choice the next time I need a DJ! Thanks so much for all the fun that night!

Best Dj service in town, amazing drape design and lighting design, the best I ve seen and the photobooths are top of the line and the attendants are so professional, The staff is very helpful. Will definitely recommend!

We had Edgar as our DJ for our wedding and we couldnt have been any happier, his interaction, energy and personality was perfect. The photo booth was also a major hit, all our guests loved it! I am so thankful that we used Boyds Events for my daughters wedding on June 2, 2018 in Midland, TX. The Petroleum Club has never looked more beautiful! The draping and lighting in the ballroom was very elegant and the entrances to the room were very well done. The pin spotting over the centerpieces, cakes and portrait really highlighted these important things and the photo booth kept our guests entertained all night! I highly recommend Boyds Events! They will take a venue and make it amazing!

Best DJ hands down!!! We had the privilege to have Edgar as our DJ and he did and amazing job!! He made our night. My husband and I fell in love with him and his work. Everybody that was there enjoyed him so much!! THANK YOU EDGAR from the bottom of our hearts! He not only did a terrific job as a DJ but he interacted with the quest and most of all the kids. Everyone enjoyed dancing with him. I would definitely recommend him to anyone. I would recommend the whole company to someone. Thank you so very much Edgar for making our night a night to remember. Til this day, 5 years later, we still talk about that night and the impact you left on us.
