My name is Alberto Gonzalez and I was a client of Dunham & Jones. I am currently using my cousins email to post this review as I am in the process of securing my email accounts due to others having access to it. I was represented by David Phillips and Sara Spector along with the help of Magali Roman. I was facing 200 years of prison for false accusations and The team at Dunham & Jones comprised of the 3 mentioned above and any others involved helped set the record straight and I am now a free man after serving a year and one month in Midland county jail because according to detectives because I didnt answer my phone when they called. I mentioned to them when I hired them to represent me in this case that I was not taking any plea deals as an innocent man and they fought tooth and nail beside me the entire time and respected my wishes of seeing this case through trial. During the trial they were very observant and caught faults in the facts that the D.As tried to slide in without notice and were meticulous when it came to reviewing so called evidence being presented as well as wording on the charges as to which, if found guilty I would have been hit with double jeopardy. Poor communication about my case. When I was given information and showed up to court got blind sided by other monetary charges that werent discussed. When I asked what we were going to do Lawyer just stared into the abyss and gave no answer. UPDATE: Someone called from the office a few days after originally writing this review, I missed the call. They sent an email asking for a good time to call and discuss why I left a poor review, havent heard from them again.

Dunham and Jones is one of the best law firms in the state. I especially want to thank defense attorney Laurel Shedd and her Co council Kelsey Robbins. I was facing an unjust dui charge out of Ector County that wouldve held dire consequences,and although I was innocent the state had overwhelming evidence against me. However thanks to them justice was served and I was found not guilty of all charges by a jury of my peers. They fought hard for me all the way and were also there for me emotionally through incredibly tough times. I thank them both from the bottom of my heart. As for the law firm itself...Id give them 10 stars if I could. They were 100% professional and never judged me. Matt Byrne made me feel comfortable the second I walked in for my free consultation but wasnt pushy either. He immediately took notes for my case before I decided to go with them. After shopping around I felt like they were the best choice and I am so glad I picked them. The price was way better than their competitors and trial costs are covered as well. Not only that, I have another case that is still pending and because I had went with them before and made all my payments on time(yes they take payments), I was only charged half price. I highly recommend this law firm and am very confident that this other case will go well. Once again Dunham & Jones knocked one out of the park. James Perl was my attorney this time. He did an excellent job of representing me. They waited til the last minute to drop their case against me in the hopes that I would sign their b/s deal they were trying to wave in front of me. In the end we stood strong and they knew they were in the wrong. If you are ever in a bind dont settle for a court appointed attorney. They are practically working with the prosecution and they have so many clients on a daily basis that they could care less about you. All they want you to do is sign. Hire good legal representation. I dont care how broke you may be, Dunham and Jones will work with you and in the end you will have actually saved money and cleared your name. I called and told them about my case. They never took it serious never called me back or seemed to care after we talked for 10 minutes the first and last time . They should say hey we dont think our office can take your case instead of giving you the run around as if there looking into it or making calls doing there due diligence. Also I NEVER RECIVED A QUOTE , Lastly every time I did called to get some kind of detail or conformation they always sent to voice mail so that way the consumer or client should leave a voice mail,what do the assistants do ?The lawyers are so busy as if they protect Fort nox personally.

Seemed great at first . But after my husband missed his own indictment hearing we found out they never even told the court they were representing him and caused him to have to be arrested for the same charge again . Then after we went with a court appointed after the indictment to get him out of jail with no additional money they tried to them tell the court they were his attorney and messed up his pre trial offer and almost cost us 25,000 in bond because they didnt even try to do a Pretrial offer . Needless to say we took all of our money back from them after paying more then half of the full amount which was 2500 a month !!!!!!!!!! A MONTH for 6 months . Went with the court appointed who did more for us in just one week then these guys ever did

I have a good opinion of them. Especially Yancarlo Villa who was the one who helped me in my DWI case, he speaks Spanish and is very nice. From the beginning they were very nice to me. Yancarlo helped me a lot and I was satisfied with the deal that was made with the court... the secretaries are a little unpleasant and rude... A lawyer in itself is very expensive, but I guess its the cost of making a mistake .. They have payment plans and try to adjust them to payments that are easy for us... so far I am satisfied with them... and from what they told me, they They are one of the best to help you in a DWI case as an extra note: if you can avoid spending your money because of a mistake AVOID IT. Better pay an Uber for 100 dollars and not 4000 for a lawyer .. thanks again

The prosecution would not drop the case even after we presented evidence. So, we had to hire an attorney. The attorney was very knowledgeable and believed in his clients. You know you have a dedicated and committed attorney when they contact you after normal business hours to give you updates on the case. In the end, justice was served and our case was dismissed.

I was arrested in Howard county and there was a lot of wrong doings by the local police, sheriff, atf, dea and rangers I was arrested and my life abruptly shaken up but Sarah Spector is a wonderful attorney she did an amazing job and got my charges dismissed. So let s start this process from the beginning. When I first got in trouble, I had a male attorney, I won t blast his name, appointed to me, he was very hard to get ahold of, and suggested I take a certain route to go forward with my case (which come to find out now, I would ve been sent to jail). I dealt with this one attorney for about 6-7 months, and managed to get him on the phone twice, he wouldn t really answer my questions, or much of anything really, showed up to my court dates, but didn t explain anything to me. (Keep in mind, I have NEVER gotten in trouble before in my life, so I was very confused on what was going on) then 3 weeks before my trial date, I got a phone call, stating that said attorney no longer represented the firm, so I went into the office to meet my new attorney, which ended up being Kelsey Robbins, I explained to her what was going on and what I was dealing with. She was extremely understanding and wonderful from the get go. With the advice that she gave me, and her help, I managed to get everything dealt with, with no jail time or anything. Words cannot amount to how thankful I am for having her as my attorney, she was a true godsend to me. Everyone up there now, are true professionals and I am so happy that I chose this firm to represent me. Kelsey is an amazing attorney, she is honest, straight forward and doesn t beat around the bush, which is a quality I really appreciate. In 2019 I got my first misdemeanor (dwi) & Sarah Spector at Dunham & Jones she was able to make a deal but I messed that up this year. I recently got into my second DWI-W/Child (felony) I had contracted Hamilton Grant Law Firm for my second one but they did not do anything. Mrs.Spector handled my case & she was able to get me 2yr probation & got my Felony charges dropped. I am so thankful to her & all the lawyers at Dunham & Jones. I recommend them deeply.

**LONG REVIEW** This is my first time to be in trouble ON TOP of with a felony possibly being placed on my name. I was blessed to find Dunham and Jones law firm they re a great team. Matt Byrnes was my lawyer at the beginning and he is good at what he does in the court room i will say that, but before court i didn t hear anything from him up until court so i was worried up until then All said and done he had got me on a program called PTI (Best deal you can get for a felony to be dismissed) and I did not make ends meet with community service hours because of life/work/Covid going on over the course of my program. So back to court i go, and i get placed with a new lawyer to help me and her name was Laurel Shedd. Who is an amazing lawyer that kept in contact, answered all questions without hesitation or making you feel any less of a person for not knowing all the things that will take place and was very responsive and so genuine on wanting to help. We get back to court to revisit what will happen to me for not completing my hours. Only to come be informed by Mr Luke Garrett that Miss Shedd had been involved in a minor accident the day of my court! Mind you Mr. Luke Garrett was there to take over and handle my case and this man handled business very well i was at ease with the professionalism of Mr Garrett and him being genuine and honest about what he was planning on doing and executing and he held his word and got an Extension for me. He took the time out to go down a floor to actually get the correct information i needed for my program and clearing up some issues i had with places i could go to complete these hours the small gesture went a long ways knowing he truly cared about me completing all of this. Mr Luke Garrett was great, honest, And made me feel comfortable with everything going on! Now on this day i have a dismissal letter signed off and documented all thanks to the Dunham and Jones Team. If i could rate this 1,000 Stars more i definitely would and recommend this firm 100% Absolutely amazing people.

They re without a doubt the most unprofessional team there is. I have no good comments about Matt the lawyer. He looks and sounds like the most frustrated person I ve met. He tells you one thing through the phone and the complete opposite once y all speak in person. I have never needed a lawyer in my life, I ve been through 3 divorces with custody and always represented myself. That being said when I really needed a lawyer, I found this group.
