I wish I could leave 6 stars. This place is truly special. Great live music tonight, delicious wine, and an amazing cigar selection. The staff was incredibly attentive and on top of their game. Chloe in particular, made the evening very memorable.

MY DAUGHTER FELT TARGETED. We were on the patio and she ordered a topo chico and was carded. This is not an alcholic drink. Shes 26 and didnt have her I.D. The GM (she told us numerous times that she was the GM and it was her establishment) insisted she had to have her ID according to TABC. Thats understandable, although weve been there numerous times and she has never been carded. We would have just left but my husband and her bf came out with beers and cigars (BTW BF IS YOUNGER THAN HER & WAS NOT CARDED) so she went home and got her ID. When she came back, SHE HAD TO CALL THE GM OVER to the table to look at her ID. She showed her, her Navy ID which has the birthdate on the back and the GM NEVER BOTHERED TO TURN THE ID OVER TO SEE THE BIRTHDATE, it stayed in my daughters wallet. Interesting since she was so worried about TABC!! Daughter asked do you card everyone and she said no just people under 30. Evidently not since bf was not carded and he was drinking and smoking. SHE WAS NOT DOING EITHER! We will not be back. Its a shame my husband used to spend a lot of $$$ in this place but never again. BTW They were smoking $35 cigars that night.

Gotta say this place is EPIC! Great atmosphere to smoke inside or outside. Cigars are always well taken care of and optimally humidified. I ve had high end cigars from other shops dry and falling apart. This is the only shop I will shop at for now due to the quality, passion, and care they put into taking care of their customers and cigars!

Great spot for a smoke and a drink. If youre driving through town, staying for work, or a full time resident, The Hemingway is a fine establishment to relax, smoke, and converse in. Good selection of cigars, pipes, and pipe tobacco. The bars wine and beer menu is well rounded, and the prices arent marked up like most other places in the area. Highly recommend paying them a visit

Excellent cigar and pipe tobacco selection. Relaxing atmosphere with small indoor lounge area plus a decent-sized bar area with tables. Good live music. Fun for the bar and nightclub crowd. Good size outdoor patio. Great place to relax on any afternoon for the true gentleman. Easy to strike up conversations with the other patrons. Classy. Everything done tastefully. Papa Hemingway would have been at home here.

The Hemingway is a chill comfortable place to hang out and have great conversation over beer and wine and have smoke from their not insignificant cigar selection. Weekends they have live music outside which if you dont want to listen you dont hear it inside. The staff is wonderful. All personable and very friendly and learn your routine as well as your name quickly. Can not recommend this place enough. Not a typical bar or club. You can see each other and you can hear each other. Ventilation is excellent so you dont come out smelling like an ashtray. Great place!!

Met the owner at a restaurant the previous evening so decided to give it a shot. VERY courteous & friendly service with recommendations ad I was new to cigars. Quickly learned how to smoke it without inhaling into the lungs & drank a draft Bass while at it. Made to feel so welcome & comfortable. Will be going back.

Right now you can go inside with the mask sanitize your hands get cigars but you cant stay inside you have to stay outside if you want to stay they will serve you drinks and let you smoke cigars distancing seating. So I can usually get in and out quickly great service friendly people, beautiful atmosphere.

Nice relaxed place to hang out on a Saturday night, live music every now and then and they get bonus points for being the only place in Midland to get Nat Sherman MCD Blacks. Great selection of cigars and accessories, I ve filled my humidors more than a few times coming in here. The patio area is also nice on summer nights and even have heaters for cooler ones.

Cigar selection is great! The waitresses are always on top of the drinks and very nice. Friday and Saturday evening they have bands play. Its not super loud, more of an intimate setting. Good for hanging with the guys or date night with your lady.
