Big taco guy here I m serious, their steak tacos might literally be the best I ve ever had. Ask for extra of the white sauce they give.. amazing!! And the price.. wow. Best deal in town

Who would have thought an Italian Restaurant would serve tacos out their side door (pickup/delivery only)? Well, Lambertis Ristorante and Wine Bar does, but its called Side Door Taco. I decided to try, after my haircut, to take some tacos back for lunch. Ordered off their website which was very easy and it gave me an estimated time it would be ready. The pickup instructions were included in the text. Just park on the north side of the restaurant in the designated lane for Side Door Taco and call the number on the sign saying you have arrived. Theres only one sign here, I found out, and designated lane 8. They deliver to your vehicle. Estimated time for pickup was at 11:55 am and I got everything by 12:10 pm. Not bad. I ordered the Taco Trio where you pick what tacos you want ($7 for all three). Flour tortillas cost 30 cents more for the order. Also went for the chips and salsa for $2.50. Did not disappoint! Salsa was warm and had great flavor with that roasted char flavor I like and garlic. Great street tacos. Came with three different sauces in small containers with plenty of cilantro, three small wedges of real juicy limes, diced white onion and marinated onions. Lots of meat! I really liked the salsa that came with the chips, so I applied that to the tacos. Great flavors! Cant wait to revisit and get some of their other items. Highly recommend!

For the price and later service than most places in Los Colinas I really recommend grabbing tacos here, the place is located at literally the black side door to the lambardi restaurant and you just call them when you re there. 10 tacos for $22 not including tax is a deal with how generous they are with serving sizes fillin the tacos. I don t write reviews but this place deserves one

6/10. Very uncomfortable experience. Tacos were delicious, but when ordering on the phone, we werent informed of the ghost kitchen status and that this is technically located in an Italian restaurant and you need to call when parking to have your food brought out to your car. They have a side door with Side Door Taco that makes it seem like an entrance, and I kind of got talked down to for trying to walk in that service entrance would recommend bc of the stellar food but make sure you give them your name and call when parking. Also, make sure you ask for specific sauces you want.

David was a great help. Didnt know the location to pick up so I called. David came out and helped. Unfortunately my order didnt go through but he took it and was prepared within a timely manner. Ordered the sampler with a frozen drink. Tacos were GREAT!! Meat was so tender and juicy. I will definitely be back. Again thank you David for your outstanding customer service

Pretty sweet hidden gem, literally hidden. After realizing it was in lamberti s Italian restaurant, tried to walk in but no door. Just takeout. That s coo. As I looked up the online menu, server came to ask if we had any questions and was nice and gave suggestions. Really loved the pastor and chicken fajita. Chips and Queso were pretty good too. As I took my first bite, I was immediately transported to Mexico City. But, my passport is expired so now I m stuck in Mexico. 5 stars.

There was a 4 minute hold just to place my order. I was told the wait would be 20 minutes. I placed my order over the from the parking spot right outside the door that they come in and out off. After waiting 40+ minutes I just pulled off without getting my food. Just moved here still looking for a good taco place

Located in the same building as Lamberti s. Not a single employee said a word to me as I walked around the entire building and stood at the front as well. There are no side orders (no rice and beans). 5 tacos for about $14. No thanks. It was very hard to find. I entered the door that said Side door Taco and I was in a kitchen area. Won t return.

I wanted so bad to like this place. I even went 3 different times. The tacos were dry and hard. I dont know if I was the unlucky one and got the wrong chef 3 times!? The order too took forever to come out after ordering in advance. I even called the number when I arrived and there was no answer. So I had to flag down the server coming out with someone elses order. Cool concept but man oh man was the tacos pretty dry and had little to no seasoning. Sorry not coming back. Side door no no.

Tacos were bomb and a reasonably priced. These Tacos are double the size of standard street tacos and loaded with meat (I was stuffed after 3 when i can normally put down 8 street tacos elsewhere). I really liked the variety of salsas and meat. Definitely will order again.

The chicken tacos are amazing! Anyone who is trying to eat healthy this is the place for you. Its grilled diced chicken breast without any oil, fresh quality ingredients, lime, cilantro, diced onions and picked onions. The salsa roja and fuego are a must. This is my favorite taco place. My friends have had the steak and pork, which I dont eat do I cant review, and they love it. The staff, especially the manager, are amazing! My door dash order had a mishap due to the driver, anyone who orders from door dash knows this happens, however the manager rectified it immediately and sent my order to me. Outstanding customer service and exceptional quality of food. Highly recommend this restaurant

These tacos are ridiculously awesome. I mean like blows the doors off of anything near by, and trust me i ve tried them all. The service was awesome, just pulled up outside, called and had my food within 15 minutes, 10 tacos for under $30 and extra sauces. My favorite was the al pastor, you could taste every spice, it was juicy, and dude those tortilla s . insane. I will be coming back for more of these tacos and telling all my friends about FINALLY having some awesome tacos by my house.

Order 10 tacos. 8 chicken and 2 beef. Was told 15-20 minute wait...no big deal...40 mins later got my tacos. Made the 5 minute drive home to eat some of the driest tacos Ive ever had. Chicken tasted old and cold with zero flavor. the corn tortillas wouldnt stay together. Horrible first impression. Disappointed. Was hoping to find a good taco spot by the house

Asada tacos were pretty tasty; didn t care for the chicken tinga but the tacos were packed with meat! Queso seemed watered down a little bit (lack of flavor). The frozen margarita was okay, food portion was good. I d revisit for the asada tacos.

Ok just experienced my first time eating Side Door Tacos. This place is amazing! Its apparently a ghost kitchen to the fabulous Italian place in the same building. We ordered 24 tacos, queso, salsa and a torta for the office and tried all the varieties. Omg. Im in heaven. The salsa is roasted, served warm and so flavorful. All the tacos were super good and heavy on fillings. The shrimp were my personal favorite, but there were no complaints on anything! Even our water delivery guy had one and came back to ask where they were from. Really good, authentic street tacos, very reasonably priced.. Highly recommend.

We ordered 4 tacos and a drink about 2 months ago. We had to wait 45 minutes past the estimated time and call in 3 times(they forgot at least once). But the food was decent and the frozen drinks were excellent! Just ordered again and had to wait again 35 minutes and call 3 times. No apology, anything. I work in hospitality. I never complain. Probably the worst service I ve ever had. I gave the chance to correct and it only got worse the 2nd time.

I have ordered from Side Door Taco at least a half dozen times. Id like to add a picture, but I usually end up digging in right away. You can order online or over the phone. They dont have a place to sit down. No window to order from. You literally call them when you arrive and they come out the side door of the building and hand the food to you. I have tried all of the different meats except the chicken tinga and they were all good. They are very generous with the amount the meat. Its nice to have some options for the taco sauce (they have 4 choices). The verde is my favorite. It always comes with plenty of chopped white onion, pickled onion, cilantro and limes. $3 to-go-margarita is a bonus.

I placed my order and was told it would be ready in 15 minutes... I explained to the guy on the phone Erin or Eric was his name that this was my first time there. He stated to park and well bring out the food. I got there about 9 mins later and sat for about 5 mins. He explain it as if they would know I was outside he never explained to call back once you get here. I eventually noticed a sign that said call so I did... He said I will check to see if it was ready... we waited an additional 13 mins and he brought out the order. I was over charged and when I called to inform them of that he hung up in my face. I knocked on the door and spoke to the manager. I was given a refund and a half apology... Our food was cold and we live about 5 mins from the place... the pulled pork was dry.... and my girlfriend woke up throwing up... I will NEVER eat here again!

I was excited to try these tacos after reading the reviews so my husband and I ordered chicken tinga and Carne asada tacos. Both were super dry and overcooked. Also the wait and price was ridiculous. We waited over 45 minutes for our order to come out to us. After waiting that long I expected the food to at least be good. Do not go to this place if you want real authentic street tacos. Go to Lewisville and get authentic tacos for a good price.

I ve been wanting a street taco place in las colinas for so long and we finally have one! And it s GREAT! I had a hard time finding the location at first and I didn t realize it was call in only, but once I got the food - I didn t care because it tasted so good! I had the six taco special to try all most of their flavors. Each one was filled with meat and packed with flavor. The sauces were also very good. It s actually so good I ate all 6 tacos entirely lol. I ll be coming back again! Absolutely delicious

Finally got a chance to try them out, and I can easily say theyre the best street tacos in Irving to me(previously wouldve said that was Dos Tacos). Tried 4 different tacos & all 4 sauces. all 4 tacos had really nice portion of meat, limes, pickled & chopped onions, & cilantro. *Grilled chicken - Chicken had a pretty good flavor, topped with salsa blanco sauce *Spicy Chicken Tinga - good spice, but not overly spicy... topped with salsa Fuego sauce *Al Pastor - (my fav) really great as is *Beef Asada... Really flavorful steak! Topped w salsa roja Definitely my new Taco Tuesday spot
