This was a very nice experience I was able to get a very nice meal and a drink for a nice price. The atmosphere was amazing. My waiter was so accommodating and very attentive. The restaurant was clean. The bathroom was clean. I enjoyed myself.

This is my fav place, I usually get great servers but Coco has been the worse one! Ordered like at 12 and got our food until 1:33 am, and even an hour and a half after she forgot my wonton tacos, the ones that are supposed to be an appetizer. She looks like she s high, running around for an hour and a half without bringing any plates. Im a server and I get it gets busy but not even giving any explanation and acting like it s my fault for asking about my food, girl I don t know what you doing in this industry

The guy that brought my food and drinks out to me didnt assure I had utensils and a straw I had to stop at QT for that then he wouldnt even share . 2 cents I payed with a 40.00 gift card no change whatsoever I looked all over I charged 2 pennies on my debit card..... Not the Apples of old. Was greeted with very little enthusiasm. Waited 10mins before a waiter came to the table to ask if I had been helped. I told him no and he said well I can help you. Even though it wasnt his table I received great service. Thats the only reason I gave 3stars. The food was average. I may give it one more try, hope its better.

Went there for all you can eat riblets. Please go somewhere else. This was the nastiest food and service. I have ever had at Applebees and Ive been servicing Applebees for over 25 years. They tasted like they pulled them out of hot water and poured sauce on them. They only had 4 tables in the store and that took over 20 minutes to service. This. Applebees in mesquite, Texas needs lots of help. I have never been so disappointed over the food. In my life at this type of restaurant., If they dont clean up their act with that restrut I may have to call the health department

Justina (I know I spelled it wrong srry) and Booise are the best wait staff I have found in mesquite. My nephew is autistic...the way both of them are so kind to him is amazing. We will be back to this location just due to them. Applesbees food isnt top notch as far as the taste (its decent) However, those 2 are GOLD and we will spend our money there on account of the service.

We recently dined at Applebees, and it was an incredibly disappointing experience. Our waiter, Jemiah, barely stopped at our table, leaving us with empty drinks and without the sauces we requested. We ordered two chicken bacon ranch sandwiches, and they were dry as could be. To make matters worse, our appetizer didnt arrive until our main courses did. Overall, the service and food quality were abysmal.

Wish I could give a 0 first off I wasnt properly greeted. Wanted to sit where the television were operating starting in the bar area. The server approached me in the bar area never mentioned his name advised children could not sit in the bar area after 9 and I was fine with that he then moved my family to the BACK OF THE BUILDING where the air was not operating. With the manager well aware I ask was the heat on or the air was not working. We were then moved to the front of the building. This same waiter of course kept us waiting. As a good waiter I should not have to call you, you should be checking on me, he did not even clean off dirty plates the entire meal, but he made sure he was back in a flash after providing my receipt THAT I ASKED FOR to make my payment. (PLEASE NOTE THAT I HAD TO WAIT ON MY TICKET BECAUSE THEIR SYSTEM WAS NOT WORKING PROPERLY AND THEY WERE HAVING TO TURN CUSTOMERS AWAY), with that being said why would I wait that long to run out?, so I was not ready to rush him any money when he did not rush to service me. I then left my payment ALONG WITH A TIP, WALKING to my vehicle and was yelled at from the door with security behind him stating YOU AINT GONE PAY instead of checking the table first which he had to pass before coming to the door. I returned to validate and request my money back (Security acted clueless after being a part of the scene)as the server did not deserve a tip after embarrassing me and choosing profanity to speak to me. I paid my tab the manager never came to address the situation, so I called. JENNIFER advised she was not aware of what was going on, but server also stated that she was the one to call security. I was humiliated and I would never expect to spend my money in an establishment and be treated so horribly. Is this what you all allow in customer service?

Due to traffic, I was very late meeting my family for late lunch/ early dinner. They had eaten but I was starving and havent been to an Applebees since I managed them around Denton so I was looking forward to it. Met my family at a tall table in the cocktail area; a couple games on; it was almost 4pm. Maybe 5 people at the bar, fixed on the game. I even turned around and tried to get the bartenders attention, it was very obvious that I just arrived and was holding up a menu and trying to get attention; our table was right at the service well! Not one for did he acknowledge me. My guy had to give him my order at the bar on the way outside for a smoke. Never asked about dessert or how food was, didnt prebus our table or make a stitch of conversation. So, I sipped on my Bahama mama and had to settle with just a small order of wonton tacos as my full meal. Anyways, I just know thats not the service standards. I understand getting busy as a bartender but he was not too busy for that. Especially after already having been tipped very nicely in cash by dude. Disappointing.

We picked up dinner to-go from this location last night while coming home from being out of town. It was on the way, and something other than fast food for this time at night. I made my order, and it was supposed to be ready at 11:01pm. I went inside at that time, and waited to finally be greeted by someone who took my name. I saw they were packing our food, seeing what I ordered going into boxes. I thought, okay it won t be long. Another guy comes in, and they stop packing my food and start packing his. I sat there for another 15-20 minutes waiting on my food as I watched them prepare other food for the bar and deliver it to them and pack this other guys food while mine was ignored. Not only was I a sitting duck, my almost two year old is in the car with my husband burning up in the heat. I know my car s broken AC isn t Applebee s fault or problem, but there is a reason we made the order while on the road and expected it to be ready within 5 minutes of the given time. They had plenty of time to get our food ready. Everyone was too worried about the bar and their orders, rather than getting to-go orders out on time. There was extremely loud rap music playing throughout the restaurant, and of course there were drunk people singing and carrying on. This isn t a problem after 10pm, but it s the reason why we did not dine in with our toddler. The only thing I will say about the service is that the lady who actually noticed me and talked to me was extremely nice. Now, let s talk about the portions. We did the 2 for $2X menu. It s more of 2 for $35/$40 if you actually want to get something other than chicken tenders or salad. The bourbon chicken and shrimp does not have any kind of sauce, just garlic. Why call it bourbon? The chicken patty was small as well. The sides were small. It was not worth the cost. I got the 6oz steak because I didn t want the dramatic up charge for an 8oz. I had plenty of fries, but my steak was overcooked. I ordered medium and got medium-well to well done. There was no pink center. We got the artichoke dip with chips, and they give you very little chips in a small to-go container which is barely enough for 2 people.

Ive ordered take-out here several times. I really should have taken a photo of my last order. I usually get the spicy crispy chicken sandwich- its a fried chicken breast covered in sweet spicy Asian chili sauce with coleslaw, I pay extra for the tomato soup as my side. I always order the cheese and croutons for the soup and silverware so I can start digging in on my way home. This last order I specifically asked the lady on the phone if they had the cheese and croutons because I always order but never get them. She said YES! They have both and put them on my order- I called because I wanted to make sure I got them this time. Once again- no cheese/croutons. I mean its not hard.. its already supposed to come WITH them. When you order and you DONT want them you un-check it in the customization. Next, my sandwich was not up to par. The chicken was right, but my bread was burnt- enough to give a real hard time using the fork and knife to cut a bite. Also, only 2 to 3 bites had coleslaw. I love Applebees, Ive never had problems with my orders anywhere else. Im going to have to find another one. I wish the one on Centerville & 635 was still open- thats where I first tried my sandwich and they made it the same EVERY time. This place doesnt even remember to give you silverware either.

The young man at the front seated the people in front of me right off and my group was told to wait 15 minutes to be seated. Then we would have a table. After we were seated we never got a waitress and no one spoke to us . Not nothing and we waited for about 20 minutes. Plus a couple came in and was seated without waiting 15 minutes. I did talk to the manager and she gave an excuse about the waitress serving a graduation party. I seen her walk passed me and cleaned a table . And she didn t speak. If a negative stars rating was available I would have chosen that as an option. Our dining experience was the worst I have ever had. From the time we were first seated throughout the remainder of our meal and time spent at this location. The sevice was terrible and we were not even served the meals we ordered. When you order a mixed drink, Crown & Coke, the order taker should know Coca Cola is not available and should say something at that time. We we informed about 20 minutes later they did not have Coke and that was after asking the status of our drink order. The waiter was laying across the tabletop of an adjacent table to take our order and the regard for cleanliness was not an important topic for any of the wait staff that we observed. Rudeness and irresponsibility was the skills shown by the help on the dining floor while we were there. Wont go back ever again!

Tried to give this place a second chance because the first time me n my family ate here was terrible, now the second time was even WORSE, we walked in and waited to be sat for about 10min and even then the server just said sit anywhere after we sat down shed take 10-15 minutes to get back to us each time and only had two tables (us and another family). My boyfriend order a shot n we just ended up having to take it off because it took over 40 min to get to him. The food is good. If you go after 9pm the service not that great. The hosts spend their time talking to friends. I asked my server for cutlery because that a menu was not provided when we sat down. Needless to say my food came. No cutlery. My husband got it for me. All this and we were the only guests for our server for 10 minutes. Once more guests came it got worse. We had to complain to get out ticket and track down the waiter just to get our credit card back. He got a low tip. And I believe management wasnt even there because I asked.

Visited on st. Patrick s day and me and my friends sat at the bar. The service with the girl they call BUBBLES WAS TERRIBLE!! She stayed in all the men face playing and talking and not helping the customers.. she served me a drink with a bug in it and was like ewww I ll make you another one she did it took 25 minutes for her playing in men face. I ordered brownie bite ONLY and she forgot twice to put the order in. This time im mad!! She gave a us a free shot for the bad service and she shot glass was broken and chipped around the rim as you can see in the photos.. when serving her favorite men she filled their shot glasses up alllll the way to rim of the glass . Very very inexpensive place to eat with some scrumptious meals. Me and my son had a blast and filled our stomach. He really enjoyed the ribs and enjoyed their tenders with a nice whiskey sour. Applebees is always changing their menu to get you more and more great choices. You can never go wrong here especially if you want to eat on a budget. This place is always clean and open for business. They have an anxious staff working for them that greets you and is adjusts willing to serve you. Thank you bees for always continue to serve us delicious food Ave great service. FYI ladies and gents, take advantage of their lunch special starting at $8.99, i posted the menu, enjoy. Vegetarian options: They have a amazing salad that is too die for, they can spruce it up any way you like

The only reason to go here is if you want to waste your time, terribly slow service. Our waiter was really nice but that s the only good thing I can say about this spot. (I think her name was Antoinette) she was new and definitely deserves a raise, but the food was just awful, my Alfredo was watery and overcooked not to mention there were rocks of shrimp that I wish I didn t order. Drinks were good but took me 20 mins to get my margarita. And another 40 to receive my meal. Comped my entree but just a warning don t come here for anything other than happy hour

We ordered our food. Myself and My Mom ordered a frozen Margarita and my Aunt ordered the $1 margarita. My Mom and my margarita had no alcohol or flavor it taste like water. My Aunts margarita was stronger than ours and ours cost more money. We asked for another 1. They exchanged it but the new ones were still watered down and mine had whole ice chunks. We returned them and asked for only water. The waitress attempted to hand my Aunt t a hot plate and she burned her fingers. The waitress did immediately bring a burn kit. Our waitress did her job well and received a big tip. We drove to Mesquite Tx that day from Houston Tx to visit family. I will not go back to this location again.

My only problem was the wait because of not enough servers even though we had a specific reservation for a certain time for a group of 11. Management needed to do a better job of having enough servers ready to go. This was a Friday evening and the place wasnt even full.

I always come to this Applebees with my people and never had a problem with anyone or anything until I came in one day and was denied service because some server under the influence told me that she refuse service to me because she recall me walking my tab on her. I politely stated to the lady that I come there all the time and would never do such a thing and also that Im a server my self. I just let her and her manger know that I was very offended and upset at that situation and I never been back sense.

It used to be a nice place to have a couple drinks, USED TO. My wife and I stopped by with a friend to have some dinner one night and it was the most uncomfortable experience Ive ever had. They had a policeman there which is perfectly fine, but... everytime we would laugh or even Crack a joke, this policeman would slowly walk over to our table and just stand and stare at us.. at one point he just stood there and didnt move for almost 5 minutes. We got so uncomfortable with him doing this to us the whole night, that the laughter stopped and the night turned sour. I understand that hes there to do a job, but to the point where we cant even have a conversation without him coming over to see what we were doing and what we were talking about. We work hard to go and have a nice dinner and not be constantly watched over like criminals.... how could anyone possibly enjoy themselves?
