The Mesquite location is a train wreck. It s really a shame since it was beautiful when they moved to this new location. The fabric section is a jumbled, disorganized mess. Stock is slim. Frequently out of many items. I keep going back hoping it will be different but it just gets worse. I ll take my business to Rockwall from now on where they take pride in their store.

Yesterday, Trent (not 100% sure of the name) the store director, went above and beyond to help me find a piece of discontinued fabric. There were only 2 people working in the store that day and I know they were overwhelmed, but he still took the time to help me find a needle in a haystack. I am so grateful for his help. I honestly didnt think customer service of this quality still existed.

I buy bulky yarn #6 here for making beanies. Their stock is sufficient. My most recent trip yielded $8.99 skein of yarn at 30% off. So not bad. The new store is huge, clean, and easy to maneuver. Checking out is easy even if theres only one register open. I havent used their app yet as Ive only shopped there twice now, but Im ready to give it a go. I have no negatives to give about this location.

This is my favorite JoAnns. I drive past three other fabric and craft stores to get to this one. Kara was so incredibly helpful and patient while we worked through a project. She figured out exactly what we wanted even when the description was vague. Thank you for your patience. You made this shipping trip a wonderful memory that we will smile about every time we look at that quilt.

I went into Joanns today because I needed some yarn. Im standing in the yarn section pondering. Behind me, I hear someone, and its an employee stocking the yarn. Listen, this is the kind of job that requires you to assist everyone. If this is not your thing, you have to regroup. I go to the front because I just wanna leave this tip. And come to find out it was a manager who was in my area and didnt want to address me. Acknowledge me nothing. She definitely ignored me. But now, seeing the reviews, this is nothing new. Its really looking like bad customer service is acceptable here.

Horrible experience for my first time at the new location did curbside pickup and nobody came out after 30 mins or so I went in and waited another 30+ minutes then when I went back to my car someone had hit my door hard when they got in theirs when I had called to see if they had cameras in front so I can get info on who damaged my car the lady who had answered was rude Im never going back to this location

Love shopping here, everyone is so pleasant and helpful! Ordered online but had to go inside to pick up more of what I had ordered, since I didnt get enough. The associate who helped me brought my online order to me while I was waiting in line, so my time in the store was brief and no longer than it would have been had I chose curbside pickup! Everyone was socially distancing, wearing masks and taking CDC guidelines seriously. If you do, as I do, want to keep yourself safe while protecting others around you, this store is one where you want to shop for your crafting and DIY needs!

Got there 2 minutes prior to the closing time, was still treated with kindness, courtesy and was given assistance with my purchase by associates who were helpful and willing to work even though they were supposed to be getting off work.... got my zipper and a spool of theead in a hard to locate color and was still about to be back on my way home by two minutes after closing ( so actual shopping visit lasted 2 or 3 minutes at most and I was on my way. Thanks guys and girls for allowing my experience to be just as I like shopping to be, quick efficient, effective and over with

I just left the store around 10:30 am April, 19, 2023. I just came in to get empty fabric bolts at the fabric counter. For lose fabrics I have at home that I want to store away. I didn t catch the woman s name, but she was an older white lady with her hair pulled back in a bun. She told me that they are not allowed to give out fabric bolts, and she just only gonna give me one because they reuse them. Which is not true. And I felt as if she was prejudiced towards me. I have came in before, and received fabric bolts for free with no problem at this same location.

Not just a fabric store anymore. Not certain if all locations have the same stock of products, but this one was more like Hobby Lobby. It has a little bit of everything you might want for a wide variety of craft projects, even spray paint, which pleasantly surprised me. This is great because this store is open on Sunday while Hobby Lobby is not.

I found great deals at the 80 percent off sale. The business is moving where Michaels used to be. Ohhhhh how I wish I could have afforded one of the discounted sewing machines that quilt quilts. I will continue to have faith. Its a want, not a need. If I had it, once my arms are repaired, I will be able to make walker purses for the Wise & Matured Children who choose not to grow up.

EDIT 10-13-22: This store is moving to New location. Some one decided to insult the intelligence of the sewists, raise the prices on nearly everything. Then discount 40 and 50 %. This closeout sale is infuriating. Ive been a regular since this store opened. Dont buy their closeout, make them move it to the new store The staff is always helpful and friendly. The Viking dealership manager in the store is the most knowledgeable and helpful person. Paula, ask her anything! She knows her machines her inventory and knows the store inside and out.

Very nice store with a good amount of variety for crafty items. I had taken my mom as she needed some items from there. The customer service was nice too. The gentleman at the cashier was very polite and helpful. He even used a coupon code for us to get a discount on some artificial flowers that I bought for my mom.
