Alee and the team truly went above and beyond for us at this beautiful venue! We were coming from California and Alee spared no effort in making sure all our needs and questions were met. I planned my wedding by myself, and there is so much that goes into it that you would never know until you experience it yourself. Some venues charge for what should be included or are completely inflexible. Not Avalon. Avalons team made sure that I, the bride, had what I wanted. It rained on my wedding day. Going into the day I was nervous about the forecast, but the Avalon team said well push the ceremony, bring it inside, whatever you want to do and you can make that decision any time that you want. We are team bride! They were true to their word! Not only that, but they showed me pictures of ceremonies brought onto the patio because of rain and they were gorgeous, so no need to worry. We loved Avalon! Cant go wrong!

Avalon was everything and more I could ve asked for!! First it is absolutely breathtaking and I couldn t have picked a better place to have my wedding. Second they were so helpful with everything I needed from before I even had my wedding day to the day of. They were very responsive with all of my questions. The day of the wedding they made sure we were prepared with everything we needed. Debbie was such a sweetheart she was there guiding us with what we needed. I can t rave about them enough!! Love this venue! We have used it at least 5 times for the Frontier annual fundraising dinner benefitting Quest Collegiate Academy Whitewright. The owners are amazing and the staff are wonderful! We had a great night and enjoyed tasty Mexican food that was referred by Avalon Legacy Ranch. We will always use them!

My sister in law just had her wedding at this venue. At the last minute my husband and I decided to bring our 18 month old, and as anyone can imagine, a busy toddler needs someone on him 24/7. Everyone involved with the venue was attentive, polite, professional, and willing to go out of their way to make guests comfortable. When I had to stay inside and miss the meal, my food was brought to me. When trying to get my son down for a nap, the manager (I believe you were, I hope that informations correct) offered me her pack and play. I appreciate everyones patience and kindness, especially as this was my babys first real trip away from home and my husband and I werent sure how hed behave when out of his element. Trust you and your guests are in good hands should you decide to plan your event here :) Additionally, its a pretty picturesque location. Good spots for photo ops outside and especially inside. Very clean and plenty of restrooms. Loved the bridal suite. (North Texas Landmark Security also provided their services and were very professional.)

This venue is absolutely stunning! Theres nothing more beautiful than a rustic/barn yard venue look! We had a small event with friends here and even pulling on to the property gave you a feeling that something magical was going to happen that evening and it did! The inside spoke for itself and is a great place for small events for friends gathering and relaxing. Id like to thank Hannah Burns for such an amazing evening and hostess for our event! I could not have dreamed of such a beautiful and romantic place to get married! Avalon Legacy Ranch far exceeded our expectations the whole way. Not only was the venue itself stunning, but the people who work there made our experience even better with their attention to detail and hospitality. This venue is the perfect place for an intimate and special wedding day. The indoor and outdoor spaces are all unique and beautiful. The ceremony location was so beautifully surrounded by trees and nature that we did not feel the need to go over the top with decor. Avalon Legacy Ranch was the best place to get married! We went to an open house and fell in love. Nothing else could compare. Its so romantic. The lights at night and the fire pits help transport you to another place. Our guests were also a big fan of the venue. Its nice that there are so many different areas to hang out so that you never feel bored. I didnt feel that we needed to add any extra fluff to our festivities because the venue had comfortable areas to sit, talk, dance, etc. It was a wonderful experience.

Avalon Legacy Ranch was the MOST. PERFECT. venue we could possibly have for our wedding. The price was very fair for how much you get out of it. We had the venue for the entire day and were able to get ready at the venue with hair and makeup. The reception area was great as well. There was an area in the back for those that wanted to smoke cigars which the men enjoyed. We had the whole backyard area where we set up the photobooth, so lots of space for us to enjoy but not overly big to where we didnt feel close to our friends and family. SO gorgeous at night with the lights! Alee couldnt have done a better job. She was super helpful and made sure our day was perfect. 10/10 and would recommend to any and everyone!

My husband and I got married here in February 2022 and it was one of the best decisions we made for our day! Alee was absolutely incredible and supportive with helping us create our vision. She was always prompt, organized, and present throughout the process and was such a calming presence. She even sewed me back into my dress at one point! The space was beautiful and perfect for us to create our dream wedding. Our guests loved the variety of spaces to use. Our favorite feature was the dumbwaiter and we had so much fun sending each other gifts while getting ready. Our photographer enjoyed the wide range of backgrounds to choose from for portraits, wedding party, and family photos. We truly could not have asked for a better and more welcoming venue.

The ranch and property are beautiful. I contacted the office to have to cancel due to a covid crisis with our immediate family. It is unfortunate that in no way during a pandemic that they are unwilling to budge on even receiving a partial refund. I work in the airline industry and we are allowing changes and refunds still. I had my wedding here in March and it was a dream come true! Everyone could not stop talking about how beautiful it is. The place has a lot of space, we had 10 bridesmaids and 10 groomsmen and there was so much space for girls upstairs and guys downstairs. The bridal suite is huge!! Then you have the ceremony outdoors that is breathtaking!! The reception area has these beautiful lights to dance the night away under! Not to mention, Debi and Alee were so amazing to work with and truly want your event to go amazingly! Everyone always wants their event to have no hiccups but of course it always happens but Debi and Alee were sooo helpful and there to help me!! One of my best friends recently got married at Avalon Legacy Ranch, and I was lucky to be one of her bridesmaids. The pictures hardly do this venue justice. Everything on the property is so beautiful, from the bridal suite to the ceremony and reception sites. We had a blast getting ready and felt very safe (the venue staff all wore masks and everything was spotlessly clean). The owner was also extremely gracious when I called her (very early) the next morning because I left something at the venue. If you are considering Avalon Legacy Ranch for your wedding- BOOK IT! I cant even begin to describe how amazing our wedding day was- the beautiful bridal suites and ranch house, 25 acres of unbelievable property that guests can walk around to explore, the covered reception porch, the outdoor chapel with wooden benches and stained glass- everything is just stunning. Our guests are still raving about how beautiful the venue is and how much they loved the property. We hosted cocktail hour in the back area outside and had a petting zoo, it was a HUGE hit with our guests and the Avalon staff was so excited about it and helped us make our petting zoo happen! The Avalon staff, Debi and Alee are SO professional and made our big day perfect. You can tell that every part of the venue is cared for with love, though the compassion of the Avalon team and how they treat the Bride&Groom and guests. Even through the challenges of COVID this year, they were incredibly communicative and made us feel comfortable through the unknown. Would 100% recommend this venue looking for a dreamy, outdoor/indoor magical wedding!

Avalon Legacy Ranch and the entire team there are absolutely INCREDIBLE! My husband and I got married at ALR in November of 2018 and almost two years later I still would not change a single thing. From our first tour we knew we wanted to get married there but looked at a few other venues just to be sure, and nothing even compared! Every single inch of this venue, both inside and outside, has clearly been given so much love and detailed attention from the staff and it really shines through. The house and deck are gorgeous, the walk down to the outdoor chapel is beautiful, and the outdoor chapel itself is amazing (pictures don t even do this venue justice)! One of my biggest concerns with having an outdoor wedding in Texas during November was the weather. Would it be 30 degrees or 100 degrees? Would it be sunny and amazing or pouring rain? Luckily at ALR it really doesn t matter either way. Their backup ceremony location on the deck is equally as gorgeous as the outdoor ceremony site and they have plenty of ways to help you combat the Texas heat or cold! When I say they are prepared to help you with anything .they really are! They are very flexible with vendors but can also give you great recommendations if you aren t sure who to use. There was also a lot of flexibility around scheduling times for tours, engagement photos, and rehearsal times, which was extremely helpful since we lived two hours away. As a whole, the venue is run by incredible people who clearly take pride in their work and want to make each wedding as wonderful as possible. Our entire wedding day ended up being so filled with joy and love (with 0% stress) and a huge part of that was because of the venue and the people who run it. We also chose to use Alee as our month of coordinator and WOW she is so sweet and wonderful. Alee is an incredible human and was the reassuring voice that you just sometimes need, especially when you re trying to figure out how to plan a wedding. She helped us through some last minute planning, rehearsals (both on the deck and at the chapel because I always feel the need to be prepared lol), she handled setting up the decor, she helped keep everyone on track, made sure my stuff got into our getaway car, got us to our exit, sent us off with some leftovers from the caterer, and was just overall so incredibly wonderful! TLDR: This venue is outrageously gorgeous and working with Alee is a dream! Having our wedding here was the best decision we made!

My fiancé and I were planning to have a big wedding in January, but due to COVID many friends and family expressed that they might not be comfortable attending. We were worried about planning a big wedding and then possibly having to postpone if our guests wouldn t attend, so we figured we d get married before we go back to school! HIGHLY, HIGHLY RECOMMEND. The venue itself is stunning with several picturesque locations including a gorgeous outdoor chapel, dreamy covered patio, and spacious grounds perfect for a party. But the real gem is the staff. Both Debi and Alee are two of the kindest humans. I was one of many covid brides with wedding plans disrupted. My fiance (at the time) and I reached out to Avalon Legacy Ranch in desperation hopeful to elope before quarantine kicked in. They went above and beyond to make our day not only feasible but incredibly beautiful. We only spent a few hours at the venue and will cherish that time for the rest of our lives. We came to check out Avalon Legacy Ranch about a year ago while searching for a wedding venue. We immediately fell in love the venue and knew it was the one for us. It was beautiful, surrounded by nature, spacious, and had all the amenities we were looking for. But more than the venue itself, what stood out to us the most was the hospitality and warmth we felt from the management and staff that day. Fast forward a year later, in the middle of a global pandemic, and trying to salvage our wedding plans, Debi and Alee have been nothing but angels - they ve been incredibly gracious and patient with us through everything, understanding our circumstances, and going above and beyond for us. We are so incredibly thankful for them and we are so grateful to have found ALR! If I could give this place a half star I would. My fiancé and I loved the pictures, and couldn t wait to go see it. We sent our information in and Debi responded very quickly.. off to a great start, we answered her emails and told her that I am a teacher and coach, my fiancé is a nurse. We then told her our budget and dates we would like. A day or so go by and nothing, so we email back and she responds with yes we can tour what time on Tuesday. We had family coming with us so we responded quickly before we knew they would go home. We are going into Thursday with still no response. If you are looking for a beautiful place with someone who won t respond to you then this place is for you. But if you are spending good money for a wedding I don t recommend. Highly unprofessional and very unresponsive. .5 out of 10

My friends hosted my baby shower at Avalon Legacy Ranch and it was everything I could have dreamed it would be! The venue is beautiful and Debi and Alee were such great hosts, and we really felt at home in the space. Avalon Legacy Ranch will now and forever hold a special place in my heart, as it was the perfect setting and venue for when I did the best thing in my life and got married. The staff was amazing and heart warming, and excited to see the groom do some wedding planning which made it easier for me to do in a situation I had no experience or knowledge in. The venue is gorgeous, and while on a ranch, doesnt throw it in your face that youre in Texas. A nice rustic look, a gorgeous deck with over hanging lights with plenty of tables and chairs for everybody, and the ceremony area is breathtaking while not pushing any religious setting. Though we had a June wedding, I barely recognized the heat as they had us covered with some air blowers. It was hard to feel anxious about the wedding as Alee and Debi had everything covered, and the place was so relaxing. I can not thank these ladies enough for such a magical time my wife and I had to the start of our life together.

As mother of the bride, I am singing praises for my daughter s wedding venue, Avalon Legacy Ranch in McKinney, Texas! The wedding and reception were beautiful and beyond anything I could imagine! It would have been a disaster had it not been for Avalon Legacy Ranch stepping up and recommending a new catering/ bar service two days before the wedding when I learned our original Caterer, Whisk Catering and Consulting, had cancelled via an email to me. I missed that email in the hundred or so messages I get each day.The message was cc d to AVALON LEGACY RANCH and they CALLED me! One of the venue owners, Alee, talked me through the horrible news and made me know they were going to help me get things back on track. They were going to make sure we had linen table clothes and napkins as planned, they made calls to caterers wth bar service they know and trust and we got everything back on target to have the wedding and reception in two days as scheduled. I can t say enough good things...they helped us make sure my daughter had the wedding and reception of her dreams! The owners and this venue are beautiful!

I fell in love with Avalon back in September, when I saw them in a Bridal Show. I felt welcomed and not pressured to learn more about their venue. My (now) husband and I visited Avalon and immediately fell in love - not only with the venue, but with the women who run it as well! I felt like our vision and desire for the wedding was heard, and that we were not just another number to them. It also meant a lot that every time we met with Alee or Debbie, they told us how excited they were for our wedding! Our wedding absolutely did not go as planned (there was a TORRENTIAL downpour!) so we had to move everything inside, but the flow was effortless! Our wedding was absolutely perfect. I loved that Avalon has a built-in-plan-B in case of crazy weather, like we had! We could not have picked a more perfect venue! Debbie, Alee, Faye and the entire staff are so sweet and were so helpful every step of the way. After booking, we visited ALR a couple times to help plan out vision and logistics for the wedding day of (I can t recommend this enough) they helped coordinate our visits and answered any and every question we had! My then-fiance told me this was her dream wedding venue so we pulled the trigger and it was so worth it! The ranch house and property are just so beautiful and unique, like no other venue wed seen before. The lighting is amazing, the ambiance is perfect. The ranch house layout is organic, and fun-mingling inducing... It really impressed all of our guests! Plus, Alee and Debi helped us so much with managing both our families and general wedding-coordination (which was amazing). Love love love this Venue. My husband and I got married here and knew this would be our place immediately when Debbie said we could have a bounce house on the property! I also really appreciated them giving us extra time at the venue since we opted out of having a rehearsal. My only qualm was I thought I would be negotiating with Debbie the whole time, and instead talked with Allee who then had to always wait for a response from Debbie which slowed some things down. HOWEVER, Allee is the bomb dot com and I ended up preferring communicating with her anyway! They were also gracious enough to allow my aunts dying dog upstairs in her crate in the bathroom. I loved that they had fur babies of thier own and completely understood how important it was to my aunt to be able to feed her fur baby her meds in a timely manner. It also helped that my aunts dog was a 5 lb chihuahua. Aside from that, I didnt witness anything out of the ordinary with how staff were spoken to, including my band who were guests at my wedding as well. Beautiful venue, friendly staff, two thumbs up from me!

We just went here for a friends wedding and it is a beautiful location. The property is all well maintained and clean. The staff were all very helpful. They were ready for the rain and able to accommodate the service relocated in a covered area. The road in is a bit narrow, so if you forgot something and have to leave you might be in for a surprise if people are still arriving.

Great place to have a wedding. Wow! I DJed a wedding here over the weekend, and Ally, the wedding planner, was fantastic to work with. She was a clear communicator and made my job very enjoyable. They had good power sources all over the facility for my speakers and equipment, and they even had tables already set up for me. The acoustics are fantastic. I had some of my speakers set up on the hill where the ceremony was held, and you could hear it crisply playing while you walked all the way from the main cabin to the ceremony site. My only complaint is that there was no place to park nearby so that I could unload my equipment, so that meant making several long trips back and forth carrying my equipment all the way up to the ceremony site. Overall, I would definitely love to come back to this venue as a guest, host, or DJ!
