We went to try this place and will not be back. It was nearly empty. The staff were nice but service was slow and not great. The seafood boil had good flavor but wasn t worth $50. The gumbo and etoufee were awful. Not worth it, won t be back.

A client of mine recommended this spot to us and they did not disappoint! Our every need was met, everyone was so kind, and the food was great! Our server, Buck, was great! Very attentive and made sure we had everything that we needed. We will be back when we are in town! Just to add; my boyfriend got the lemon pepper fries and they are some of the best that we ve had!! Be sure to try them if you get the chance!

I ordered from this establishment last week. I ordered Cajun Shrimp and Chicken pasta. It was awesome which led me to order from there again on yesterday. I get my food make it back to work and start eating the taste and presentation was different so different I didnt even eat my meal because it didnt taste right. I called Storming Crab this morning and spoke with a manager, he basically told me the food is made the same by all cooks and it should have tasted the same as last time. I kindly told him it didnt taste like last time and that I was very unhappy with my food. He told me to request a refund from Uber eats and thats all he can do. Because of how the manager handled this situation I will never patronize Storming Crab again.

In would go back to this place. The food is good ok. I got the fried catfish snd gumbo with rice. The catfish was OK, but the gumbo was not great. Food was insanely delicious. Cute decor and atmosphere. It was our first time and we had family in from out of town. Everyone was blown away with their dishes. This is family owned and our server was actually one of the sons who is home from the Marines stepping in to help the family. The best customer service, great suggestions, homelike atmosphere, has the olympics on a TV and we got to leave our mark on the wall (literally with permanent marker!). Will definitely be back.

The air went out along with the oven yesterday so it was 105+ degrees in there already. We waited 45 minutes on cheese sticks and onion rings so we decided we didn t want to eat there, barely touched the drinks and didn t touch the food and was still charged. This location is a great place to come get seafood especially crab legs, shrimp, and sausage. Easily seen from the road and the highway. Access is via the access road or the parking lot but can be difficult if youre coming from 380. Parking is readily available and theres plenty of accessible parking spots as well. The location is accessible friendly including the restroom and the dining facility. The food is great and occasionally you can get a little lower quality but its very rare. Very friendly staff and they are very good at what they do. Bathrooms stay very well maintained and so does the restaurant. Theyre also working to upgrade it with a sushi bar right now. The bar is decently stocked and they have pretty good drinks. I definitely recommend this location.

But I KNOW this is NOT the place to order gumbo, crab cakes or etouffe- mine didnt even have any crayfish in it and was the consistency and taste of brown gravy with black pepper....crab cakes tasted like deep fried bread but with less flavor. First, let me start by saying, I hate writing negative reviews, but our dining experience warranted this. The atmosphere had a good vibe and the music playing overhead was great. However, it was probably the worse service we ever had. It took 15 mins just to put our drink order in. Another 15 mins for our appetizers order, which then the waitor tried to rake our menus. After the appetizers came out, we realized we didnt have small plates or silverware. So we had to wait on our waiter for another 10 mins or so. By that time, we were ready to order. Food was just okay. It wasntterrible, but weve definitely had better. I would give it a C- with the exception of their crawfish etouffee. I give it an F. They shouldnt even be allowed to make that there. And one of our etouffee had hair in it, so we had to send it back. Lastly, getting our bill. The waiter just couldnt get it right. He over charged, under charged, charged us 3 times for the same item when it should have only been charged twice. After the third mess up we had to speak with the manager, which proved to be no help at all. So we just paid and left. We WILL NOT be returning there.

This has been one of our favorite spots for some time and tend to come often but our recent visit will most definitely be our last. The food was good, but the service lacked big time. Our server (Kiana) never came back to check on us after the food hit the table, we had to get up and find her at the bar to ask for something else, and she never bothered to get us refills the entire time we were there. Had to get another servers attention for the check to be dropped and be picked up.

I ordered the catfish basket with regular fries. First off, they need to use clean grease. When the waitress set my food down the appearance of it immediately made me think I shouldve ordered something else. The main thing that was wrong is that the breading was so thick that I peeled it off and ate the fish like I was eating from a bowl. Plus the fish wasnt very tasty. My Husband had the chicken strips and fries. Same thing, you could tell they were cooked in dirty oil & the breading was so hard and thick that he couldnt eat it. Whoever made the sweet tea definitely forgot to add the sugar, ended up trading it for a Dr. Pepper. Service was polite but extremely slow. Definitely will not be back. The kicker is that I spoke with the manager and they gave us a 15% discount which came to three dollars and some change. Greatly appreciated but dont turn around and add six dollars for gratuity. Any way we tried it & will not be back.

We have been here several times. They just got a small remodel inside the restaurant. The sea food broils are the best in town. The shrimp. Crawfish, lobster, clams and both types of crab legs are all very very delicious. I recommend the hot flavor not too spicy but packs a lot of flavor. The breading on the soft shell crab was so thick and hard that it was very difficult to cut and I could not even bite through it. It was not very good and did not look or taste like crab. The service was great-prompt and friendly waiter. However, the food was so bland, not at all like you d expect Cajun food to be! I ordered Cajun pasta, and it was literally just pasta with Alfredo sauce and some broccoli. Salt and pepper didn t even help. Our recent visit to Storming Crab was marred by a frustrating seating policy. Despite the restaurant being nearly empty, they refused to let our party of four sit in a booth designed for five. This was particularly disappointing as my pregnant sister could have greatly benefited from the added comfort. Staff was unprofessional and stated the baby does not count as person. Crab Station has better food and service.

Staff/ service was above average; the food? average due to lack of seasoning. Catfish fillets were long & thin which doesnt require the hard fry they received. Fried Oysters were pretty good, but not something Id go back for. Seafood bread was crisp on the outside, nice flavor but interior was a bit TOO doughy. I couldnt tell if it was under cooked or just soft, weighed down with too much cheese. If I ever go again I might try the Seafood boil or Crab cakes but I dont think itll be any time soon. Portions were decent sized, but overall, it wasnt what Id anticipated. Parking is convenient & restaurant is Wheelchair accessible. They also have Patio dining available. Parking: Parking lot is right outside of restaurant, plenty of spaces & shared w/ other businesses. Wheelchair accessibility: All areas are Wheelchair accessible & I counted 4 designated Handicap spaces (total) immediately in front of the 2 entrances.

Food: Stormin Crab is where I found my love for crab legs! I only gave this one a 4 star because the Stormin Crab in Clarksville, TN give free seafood bread to the table when you dine in. We had to pay for the seafood bread as an appetizer here. Service was awesome! The atmosphere was cool and empty because I came right before they were closing.

Our waitress was great! She was very friendly and outgoing, her customer service was on point. However, some of the food was not so great. Our PoBoys bread was hard as a rock, the shrimp on one was undercooked and it was super messy, the okra was undercooked and slimy. The Fried catfish, hush puppies, and cajun fries were good.

BEWARE!!! Wow, I cant believe it! I strongly advise against placing an order at this particular location. The cashiers behavior was extremely rude when I raised concerns about being overcharged and requested to speak with the manager. Fortunately, the manager was incredibly helpful and managed to resolve the issue. I brought up the nasty behavior of her coworker named Jayloo, who, as it turns out, is the owners cousin. Her entitled attitude was quite evident, and she seemed unconcerned, likely because she believes her position is secure and will never get fired. To the owner, if you happen to come across this feedback, it would be in your best interest to get rid of her because her nasty attitude could ultimately impact your business negatively. Im very confident Im not the only one who has raised concerns about her behavior.

First they need to remove any reference to Louisiana flavor, not even close! People who think this food is good have led really sheltered lives. Fried shrimp tasted frozen, even after the manager came back twice with other shrimp. You couldn t taste the soft shell crab, only the rubbery coat it was enclosed in. One in our party did try the étouffée which was a train wreck that had a raw flour taste and lacked flavor. The other ventured into po boy territory, which turned out to be an affront to the name. Call it northern seafood, yankee seafood or any range of other things but please for the love of Boudreaux leave out Louisiana! Parking: Your best bet for parking is at any other restaurant in McKinney!

Dinner here this week. Disappointing. Service was the worst experience. Girl was nice, but no personality, nor attention to detail. Once the food was dropped off, we never saw her again. I couldnt get a refill, ask for sauce, get the fries with the correct seasoning, and had to wait forever on the check. There were maybe 10 total tables seated at the time; it was not busy. The food was average. Nothing to boast about from our standpoint. Will not be repeat customers here.

Atmosphere was great...we sat at the bar, bartender was busy but took care of us...while the rest of the wait staff grouped up to talk and check their phones at the end of the bar. Boudin balls were good but could have used salt ...onion rings were out of a bag. . Gator basket was very good with seafood bread. Crawfish etoufee was good but salty...and was served barely warm, congealed. . Will try again... Maybe....staff ganged up again at end of bar, then scattered when I held my phone up...rude young man serving made a rude comment and they went into the kitchen area. Whatever...

It is the ideal place to taste seafood and other products from the southern coast of the USA, the atmosphere and the atmosphere with its theme, it is ingenious, the food is really very good, although we had to wait too long, the restaurants being somewhat empty, but that It was no reason to enjoy that visit, a site with a good final score.

Food was decent. A bit expensive but thats everywhere here for seafood I guess. Food was fresh though so no complaints there. The fried catfish was great. Cooked perfectly. Hush puppies were also delicuous and we lovedddd the seafood bread. The server was not very personable. She seemed to be in a rush to leave since we did get there later in the evening. She actually was leaving out as we were leaving out. Which lets me know that she was cleaning and doing all her side work while serving us. It showed in her attentiveness to our party. It was 8 of us. 4 kids and 4 adults. We took our daughters out to celebrate them moving up to Middle School. We got the seafood boils plus more. Im sure we spent over $200 between the 8 of us and Im sure her tip did not reflect that since she could careless that we were there. We were sitting outside and asked for the TV to watch the game. She said she would check and never mentioned it again.
