First and last time this afternoon. Spend $30 on a large Chicken Parm, 1st bite of bland chicken I had enough, no seasoning in the chicken, no salt or pepper just a lot of red sauce which I guess was supposed to be enough flavor to compensate? Called in the order on the way there so was ready in 5 minutes, thank you for speedy service

As a Vegan I called earlier to get some clarity on their vegetarian menu that states they have a vegetarian chicken cheese steak. As the menu states it s vegetarian chicken in the sub. I needed clarity on if that meant vegan or vegetarian. So I phone them the guy I spoke to on the phone said it was plant based meat no animal products. Ok so I decide to give them a try. I walk in a girl greets me. I get to the register she says nothing. She s just kind of looking like I was bothering her. So I ask what the sub sizes are she just points to a laminated photo of the sub sizes she says nothing. So I ask her does she know why they don t offer vegan cheese with these subs. She says she has no idea in a tone that she could care less. I ask her if there s a manager I could speak with she says it s the lady making your food. So the manager who happens to hand me my sandwich, I try to speak to her about possible suggestions for us vegans. She calls over the girl to translate as she speaks no English. So the girl is now looking at me like I m bothering her again. I make my suggestions she says she will pass it along. Totally my perception based off her energy & her body language there s a huge chance that message will go no where. So I m leaving my review & as well as my suggestions here. If it s plant-based meat it should be stated as so. Also there are tons of cheese options it s 2024 & us vegans still like the taste of cheese. Also I know it s hard to find great people in the work place these days but based off the girls attitude I would not frequent that store again. Vegetarian options: The meat is plant based not vegetarian fyi. They also have no vegan cheese.

Under new owner and management as of July 2024 and HUGE improvement! The food was fast and fresh, absolutely the best turkey sandwich you can get anywhere in the area. They bake their butterball turkeys fresh in store and the turkey tastes like thanksgiving turkey instead of the sliced packaged turkey at other sandwich shops. Give them a try with their new management! Kid-friendliness: TVs playing shows and fun atmosphere for kids

Attitude from the cashier like no other. From eye roll to moving their head. No clue what their problem was. First time going here and I asked for what was popular the cashier pointed to list by register which didnt show what was in each so I had to look and each and match to top menu above. My order came out so wrong. I didnt even want to ask to fix because of how upset this person was throwing the meat around when making sandwich. Definitely will not be back. What a waste of money and time.

I can tell that the owner of the place doesnt work at the location... Why would somebody invest so much money into a business and not care about it. The phone is always down and theres two numbers. The number on Google and the number that I received in a coupon. Today I ordered a Philly cheese steak sandwich and they gave me chicken instead. I was very disappointed when I got home.. We also ordered two additional sandwiches .. the quality is definitely not up to par for paying over $35 Cant even call anybody

I was so excited to finally have a Capistrami! I missed having a Capriottis here! Boy what a let down. I ll start with the good the pastrami was delicious!! The ratio of Cole slaw to meat to Russian dressing was perfect. However, I will never ever tip again before getting my order. I asked for the sandwich to be cut in threes they didn t, I asked for no onions on the Italian there were onions. They were out of salami so I asked to put extra of either of the other two meats they did not. Just a few small things could have really meant a big difference. The Italian Was not good. Not just Becuase it had onions lol. Something was off. Chairs are not comfortable at all. Bathroom needed some cleaning badly floors were sticky (they are unisex bathrooms so likely men peed on floor). I m really bummed. I loved my Capriottis back home.

LISTEN: This place would be a BETTER place if their employees HYGIENE was perfect! This is my 2nd time going through the gloves issues with this place. Today; I walked up to place in my order(L. Phili-cheese) the 2 cooks had their old gloves on(you could tell they were old gloves because it was watery/sweaty) they walked up to the computer to teach a new employee how to clock out, touched around then walked to the grill and started the lady in front of me orders. I requested to the cashier to ask them if they could change their gloves before making my food. The guy responded to the cashier rudely and didnt change his gloves and proudly started my food...I took my money and walked out. THIS is NOT OKAY!!!

Alright y all today was my first day in to the restaurant and we were promptly attended to by the gentleman working the register. To our surprise for a younger guy he was up to par on his manners and etiquette. We got our drinks while waiting and went and sat down near the back. To our surprise as we gleamed at the decor of the place as well as the atmosphere we were quickly surprised to see the chef at our table side with the food. BRAVO! You never see that for a smaller shop these days especially one that is potentially borderline fast food? But okay y all happy to report best damn sandwich I have ever had! I got a medium capastrami and my wife got the wagyu and blue salad and I must say y all gotta get here and embrace this shop!

Not only was his customer service a 10/10, he was handsome, attentive and a delicious sandwich maker. He even opened the door for me when I left, he made sure I left with a smile on my face. I will DEFINITELY be returning for Lincoln to make me another sandwich. If you go make sure you ask for some fries with that shake, if you know what i m sayin .

Well, we finally made it over to Capriottis, and sadly, we likely will not return. I ordered the Homemade Turkey with Extra mayo, oil and vinegar out of fear that the Turkey may be dry. I am here to report, I was correct! Even with the additional condiments...dry as ever! In addition to this, biting into many rubbery pieces of gristle is not pleasant, nor was the assembly of my sandwich (what a mess)! We also ordered the Bobbie- In advertisements this sandwich is shown to have abundant amount of toppings. Well, I can say that there was no measurable amount of stuffing or cranberry sauce on the one I took home tonight. Such a disappointment. Youd think at the prices charged, that the product, preparation, presentation, and quality control might be a step ahead of the competition - sadly Capriottis missed the mark here. IMO - stick with Subway, Mikes, or Firehouse- while their variety is not as wide, at least you can watch the sandwich be assembled (with firehouse being the exception) and know the quality of the product is equivalent to the price you pay. *Our meal was trashed and we ordered a pizza instead*

I went in and there was one person waiting to get their sandwich. I ended up waiting 15+ min for my 2 sandwiches one hot and one cold to be made so poorly I can t believe it.. My husband said the meat wasn t even really that warm overall terrible experience. The sandwiches were not very good. 2 medium size sandwiches was ~$32 and I tipped the kids... Not sure why as all were moving quite slow except for the nice cashier lady 0/10 recommend. I tried to call and no one answered.

Stan is such a sweet guy! And the food is wonderful I spent many years living in New England and there used to be a little shop in Newport, RI called Blue Rocks Market and they had a sandwich I called the Thanksgiving sandwich. It had roasted turkey, herb stuffing, and cranberry sauce and then whatever choice of bread. It was my favorite thing, and I missed it greatly when I moved back to TX. A few months ago, I needed to grab lunch, and I ventured in here, and I barely glanced at the menu because I was in a hurry. Then, just as I was ordering, I saw The Bobbie, boy, was my heart happy. I ordered and sat down to enjoy, and boy was I in heaven. I didnt care that I had somewhere to be in that moment. It brought back so many memories from my time in New England. I make a point to stop now and then to grab my favorite sandwich. Upon recent visits, including tonight Stan was who helped my husband and I, and he just made the experience even better.

There was food residue when I sat down and I had to clean it myself. Several months since my last visit. Cheesesteak I had was amazing. The fries are still good. I give it a two star because of the manager but five for the amazing two young ladies Kahlee and Sommer for their EXCELLENT customer service. We came in for lunch and the one young lady noticed that my husband services the public and ask the manager to come for the discount. Well the manager came out and acted like we were a no body , didnt even say welcome to the store or even bothered looking at us. She complained about how the young ladies kept calling her away from the back and interrupting her and she told them when they were done with us to clean up. WOW!! I thought that a manager would be a little more kinder to her co workers. She treated them disrespectful and that is not appropriate. She needs a training on how to approach people and how to be a good leader to those who she is leading. She came out to the soda machine after we got our drinks and never said a word. Didnt surprise us after she treated the young ladies the way she did. We were very disturbed by her actions. The two young ladies we really appreciate what you both did and encourage you that you are more than just a cashier as the one young lady stated. You deserve to be treated like royalty and the beautiful young ladies you are. I believe you have a great future. Continue to be a great service to the community. The manager name is Takia . Ms Takia please be kind and know your roll as manager and not be selfish only to think of yourself.

The last visit with Wes today, the impossible steak sandwich was not cooked fully. The bread is pink, and the meat is pink. That is not OK to eat with an impossible sandwich. I truly hope they take more time to cook food thoroughly. The owner was nice and very conversational. Not great. The kids in there look miserable and act it. The food was cold by the time we picked it up. The coleslaw has a thick sauce on it like a greek yogurt, which provides a weird mouth feel. The clam chowder was questionable at best it was pretty fishy and had a distinct tang that made us wonder if it had turned. I had a mediocre meatball sandwich. The wife had a philly cheese steak. The flavor was ok, but the meat was terribly dry, which is crazy if they are using the traditional ribeye. The fries were actually promising. I bet they would be great fresh. They were cut into eighth inch thick strips about an inch wide and fried hard, a unique experience from all the other fast food fries.

We absolutely love Capriotti s in Las Vegas, but when we ate at McKinney, TX location it was very disappointing to say the least. The sandwich was soggy from too much dressing on it. The Italian meat was not in the sandwich for example the copacolla was plain ham, the cheese was American not provolone. The sandwich was cold, didn t even ask if we wanted it toasted. The crispy roll was a hotdog bun and stale at that. The bag of chips were good. The kids running the show were just there to collect a paycheck. If the owner doesn t fire them, he will probably lose this restaurant. In California it takes a bad restaurant 20+ years to go out of business, in McKinney, TX it takes about 6 months. Bad locations, bad food or bad management sets the stage for failure. We won t be back, but y all can go see for yourself.

Wagyu French dip was good. Restaurant was clean and employees were nice. My only issue is that the app isnt available for my phone, a Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra. App store says the app was made for an older version of Android. So no point in even going back if the rewards program is for some but not all patrons.

I m not one to write reviews as I typically just scan through them. The biggest takeaway I have from these reviews is to take them with a grain of salt. People are more likely to leave a review when very dissatisfied with the store or when very happy with it. I ve seen quite a few bad reviews and some with picture proof. Those instances are definitely true and have happened. That does not takeaway from the store. I came in and wanted a wagyu french dip but was told they did not have au jus due to a shipping mistake. I got the cheesesteak sandwich instead and a man I later learned was the owner told me to come back later and they would hook me up with au jus. He came by again and talked to me while I ate and we had a great conversation. So service was great. My sandwich did not fall short and I was shocked at how different the portion was compared to reviews. I had a TON of meat in my sandwich and it was phenomenal. While the place is rated 3.2 stars as of writing this, it is deserving of MUCH more. I do want to add that I came in when it was slower so I would recommend others to try to do the same to get the most out of the store. Definitely coming back.

Purchased a turkey salad, wanted chicken but they had none. The salad was very disappointing, the amount of turkey they put on there was laughable and it had zero taste. It took a long time to get my food considering there was not a lot of people there. The staff was nice and did give me a free cookie, Sorry, but I wont be going back

Ordered a sandwich online for pickup. On my lunch break, I drove across the street to pick it up. Upon arrival, the employee tending the register told me We are about 20 minutes behind. She didn t get up from sitting on her stool, nor did she put her phone away. So, I sit down and wait. After 20 minutes I ask about the sandwich. Still not ready. I watch people come and go. 55 MINUTES LATER, I realize I have to go back to work, so I told the employee I needed to cancel my order since I needed to leave. She apologizes but the cook starts to look puzzled. The cook points to somewhere behind the counter, and the register employee pulls my sandwich out. IT HAD BEEN THERE THE WHOLE TIME. I eat my cold $20 sandwich while I m driving back to work where I was late to a meeting.

Finally had lunch at the sandwich shop. I was surprised it wasnt that crowded after its reputation. I enjoyed a wagyu cheese steak. It was good but I didnt think it was amazing. The fries are exceptional. Parking is a little difficult, just be patient. The one thing I didnt enjoy was the staff never seem to clean tables after people left. There was food residue when I sat down and I had to clean it myself.

I was so excited to try this place. Unfortunately I went inside and stood in line for a few minutes only to be asked if I had placed an order online which I had not. I was then informed they weren t open even though there were two others waiting on food being prepared. So apparently they don t take walk in business disappointing to say the least.

Capriottis in Mckinney has my 5 star rating due to not only how the salads & sandwiches present in high quality ingredients, but also how friendly & efficient customers are treated. Anya in particular has always presented a more than 5 star quality in service there. When she is on shift, quality meal visits there a spot on.

Counter service when we ordered was friendly, and courteous. It was just after 5P and may have been the timing, but receipt of our order for two sandwiches took about 20-25 minutes. There were orders ahead of us, but not enough to create that delay. The sandwiches themselves, a Philly Steak and Bobbi (Thanksgiving sandwich) were bland and flavorless. There seemed to be no seasoning on the meat, and the only thing I could taste was cheese and a few sweet peppers. For the cost, meal size was not great compared to Jersey Mikes. Overall we enjoyed the atmosphere and clean tables, but the sandwiches themselves were lacking flavor and value.

Came here for lunch on a Saturday. Waited 35 minutes for my basic order of two sandwiches. When I asked for my money back, they said the sandwiches were almost ready. Nobody else in the lobby had their food. They started turning away any new customers who came in. My sandwich was good when I finally got it but I probably won t be back for a long time. They need to figure out a process.

The food was good, but it took way too long for a sandwich - they forgot to put it on the grill. They were also out of meatballs, French fries and half of the soda machine wasnt working. I know they only opened recently so Ill probably go back in a couple of months, once they get it all figured out.

Ordered online, order was not ready when pickup happened. Waited 50 minutes past pickup time to be told that the order couldn t be made and then got a partial refund for only what they couldn t make. They could have said at any point they couldn t make it but instead our hot sandwiches sat under a light for almost an hour and we have to figure out the rest. Bad form. Won t be back and will tell everyone I know to never come here. UPDATE: when we got home with the sandwiches we DID get - they were not quality. You can t see any filling. $30 per person for trash.

Unredeemable Experience. After I ordered a takeout order I sat down to wait. Then I noticed that no one who appeared to be dining in had any food on their tables. One family had to go ask for a piece of bread for their young children to eat on as they had waited so long their kids had gotten very unruly. In the 18 minutes I sat waiting, two sandwiches came out of the kitchen. With 9 parties in the restaurant waiting for their food and for takeout orders, at this rate there was no way I would have gotten two small sandwiches within an additional hour. I went to the register and did something I have never done before and asked for a refund from a restaurant. Of course, since the young lady working the cash register didnt know how to do this, she had to pull one of the two guys working the kitchen out. So, sorry everyone else for the added delay. Then, he fumbled through a refund for overpayment transaction and handed me the refund receipt saying that it should post soon, maybe overnight. Do you know what wasnt on that refund? The tip that I had given when I ordered. That would have required another refund transaction so far too aggravated this point so I said, forget it. Keep the tip because thats the only money of mine you will ever see. This aint your gig. Open up Capriottis shoe store there instead.

I have been waiting for this store to open for a long time so I don t have to plan my Capriotti s orders around trips to a neighboring city. Food is a little pricey but so is everything lately, especially food items used to make sandwiches. For the quality, I am happy to pay more for great-tasting food. The lady at the counter was very pleasant and friendly; Order was made quickly. Taste and temperature were great. I will return soon for more great food from this restaurant. I m glad to have them open close to home!

Sandwich was good , fries were really good one of the owners (shortest dude, far right in the 4 man pic) parked his Maserati in the handicap spot (no handicap tags or rear view hanger) and it stayed there our entire meal. A handicap van wouldn t have been able to use the barbered pole unloading section because of this. Maybe he is handicapped as some disabilities aren t visible but he jumped out of his ride pretty well and didn t have the symbol displayed poor taste as one of the owners.
