Small location but great events and atmosphere. Beers are all top notch and there are non-alcoholic offerings too. Parking: Parking is at back of building but a few are in street side and front of building but that is rarely not full. Kid-friendliness: The most kid friendly brewery I have been to. Even have a full changing table in one bathroom if you have little ones. Games shelf has games for kids to adults.

This is my absolute favorite bar, brewery, and place for beer in Round Rock. Weve started coming here every Friday -- we play games, we chat with new friends, and theres always new beer to try. The taco truck is wonderful and the bartenders are quickly becoming my favorite people. Couple that with great vibes and fun games, and youve got a winning combination.

Pleasantly surprised! My husband and I have been talking about trying this place for months and we finally made it out and it did not disappoint! We had two flights and everything we tried was great! The taco truck that is there also had amazing food we bought a mason jar of their salsa to bring home . We will definitely be back! We already let our friends know how wonderful this place was.

Super cute spot! The decor is a little random in places, but loved the game themed stuff. There was a lot of anime and movie posters also. Had a healthy stash of board and card games to pull from in a bookshelf. The beer is delicious. We had the heffeweisen, dunkel, rice beer, and extra pale ale. All of which were very good. Theres a little outdoor porch thats covered on the side that would be great for cooler days. I wish the music played into the theme of the taproom just for ambience vibes. They had a bad country station playing when we got there and I kept wishing for some Lo-Fi beats or 8-bit music. Or even anime/video game soundtracks or something like that. Other than the music, it was a very fun little spot.

I love this place. Great beer. Lots of games. Lots of easter eggs in the place. They even have a couple of sours on rotation. Chill spot with lofi vibes, iykyk. The owner was cool af. Staff was supa nice. Dont sleep on the taco truck- MTY style tacos, including some you cannot find north of NL. Get some!

Great beer and great environment! Nerd culture atmosphere, the bar itself looks like a giant PC. They do lots of fun events, first stopped in for a MTG open play day and then a Lorcana play day. Dead Horse IPA and their Grape Sour are must haves!

Nerd/Geek themed brewery in a cozy little spot. Friendly staff and delicious beers. 3rd Level knows what they are doing for sure! I went in and had the Into the Hazy -Verse hazy IPA, Bad Motivator Triple hazy IPA and sampled the Shell Shocked candy grape sour. They also have non alcoholic drinks in the form of Health Mana and Restorative potions that come in vials as you would see in video games, each having their own distinctive flavors. Will definitely support when ever I visit Round Rock.

This review comes from my first and only visit back in August 23. The establishment was clean and still relatively new. Beer was fine, nothing special. Limited seating at bar but cool video game decor and the play/take on their beers. My issue with this brewery was the blatant racism that occurred when one of the owners (male) was having a conversation with a few patrons at the bar (appeared to be friends) and some racist remarks were made about hiring a couple of specific help/laborers for the back to help keep costs down. If people want to speak that way in public, it shows their class but the disturbing part was the owner found it funny and engaged in the banter instead of curtailing that behavior when you have colored folks in your bar. Paid for our first and only round of pints and left. I wanted to support this brewery near my house but shame on them. Potential patrons... take it up to the 5th level and visit Pinthouse instead. Superior service and beers. Cant support the little guy here.

My best friend and I recently visited (3/26/24) - fun atmosphere, great staff and good prices. The food-trucks offerings were excellent as well (spicy Mexican food, so be prepared) and unlike most other food-trucks, was also fairly priced. Owner came out and talked to us, was very friendly. If you and your friends/loved ones enjoy fun gaming and good beer/seltzer (and some non-alcoholic drinks too) I highly recommend checking this place out

This brewery has some of the great beers. I tried the Ghost Pepper IPA and it was just amazing. The bartender is very friendly person and he offered few beers for taste as well as gave some single cans. When I am in RoundRock area I will surely stop by for tasting more beers from this brewery.

I love that you can bring a growler (ideally smaller than 64 oz) and get a drink to go. I get to enjoy the 3LB flavor from the comfort of home after a long day at work. The atmosphere of the brewery is also fun, and welcoming. The best place to catch up with friends and play some games

This place is super neat! All retro gaming consoles and game themed. They have really good IPAs with a few varieties so far in late 2023. They can most of them that are on tap. Very knowledgeable staff. My favorite is Into the Haziverse hazy IPA. Fantastic! Im looking forward to what they do next. They have gaming nights and display big sport games often. Great service and beer!

We were in town for a wedding and spent New Years Eve there. What an amazing experience. The owners were so gracious and kind. Offered fresh, free cookies! Games galore for everyone to use. Homemade chili, free. And they were constantly checking on everyone to see if they needed anything. Such a friendly atmosphere with friendly people! We were able to have an open account/tab and their prices were extremely reasonable. Can t thank them enough for welcoming our family and friends.

Stopped by recently to check out 3rd Level. I ve been hearing more and more good things about their beer program. I was pleasantly surprised by not only the beer, but the taproom and the staff. I tried their IPA s and all 3 were pretty good. The staff was very friendly and happy to answer questions I had about the beers and the brewery. If you appreciate video games, definitely check them out. Their taproom has a gaming vibe and you can plan games (both video and board)

Love the nerdy videogame atmosphere! The brews are always great - really love the sours straws line they are going with lately. We go here at least every other week. The staff are super friendly, warm, and welcoming. They are family friendly with boardgames to play with the kids or over a brew. They run some events daily, check out the community they are trying to build!! We normally go when the taco truck is outside and their beef is insanely good. Well seasoned, deliciously moist, and their green salsa is dangerously spicy.

Looks to me they re new in the area. The atmosphere is something to work on; however, the staff was very friendly. They have a retro video game theme going on mixed with something I can t quite put my finger on. I didn t get food but what others ordered around me looked like I d try something next time. I also knocked the atmosphere down to 3 stars cause there s not a lot of space and what was there, wasn t very comfortable. I did like that they had old games to play if you and your bunch want something to do while you catch up. It s a good place to go if you re local and don t want to drive very far. Over all, I d go again but let s just say I m not telling everyone they have to go check it out.

What a wonderful gem of an addition to a fairly bare part of town. Great selection of beers, excellent service and a fantastic atmosphere. Kid and dog friendly - my kids sat around and played on the switch on the big screen the entire time we were there. You can bring in outside food to boot. One of the owners Clint tended bar while we were there and it was great to get to know him. Well be back as much as possible to support 3rd Lvl. Also worth noting its extremely reasonably priced. Forget the fact our kids were entertained the entire time for free but the beers etc are well priced. Love this spot Kid-friendliness: Kids played 4 player switch on a big screen for hours

This place has delicious beers. Theyre made fresh off the breweries. Some of the beers are very light & refreshing in flavor. Others have heavy & and well-rounded flavors, such as the Dunkel & Red IPA. The lighter Pale Ales & Seltzers are very refreshing. Their Candy Sour is a delicious & sweet bubbly beer. You may even feel effervescent after one of them. Enjoy.

A sharp turn in after the Sunrise Road intersection is the small building of 3rd Level Brewing, a great new concept brewery with some very fun Easter eggs to bring friends and enjoy a variety of beers or mocktails. The staff are incredibly friendly and let us taste the Health Potion mocktail, a strong blend of hibiscus tea and lemon. Each mocktail has edible glitter to make them look more like magic potions, a great touch. I ordered a flight of beers, which seemed like a fantastic deal at $2-$3 per sampler glass for beers of my choice. I got the sour, an IPA (Deadhorse), the hazy IPA, and the oatmeal stout. The sour was light and fruity, a refreshing summer drink that wasnt too sour. The Deadhorse IPA was a west coast style IPA with heavy hops and pine notes. The hazy IPA was an east coast style with fruity pineapple notes, but a bit of a bitter and strong aftertaste at the end of the glass. The oatmeal stout was dark (but not heavy) and a little bitter with roasty oatmeal notes. I loved the theme of this place and they mentioned that they will have Switch setups and a projector in the future for movie or anime nights. Im really looking forward to what they do in the future!

Second time coming here. They really dont have food, but they do have food trucks that serve food. Last Saturday they had a Mexican truck that sold really good tacos and this week on a Friday they have German food that is also amazing. The beer that they have seems to be brewed here. I had the Hazy IPA that is exactly as the describe it to be. Its worth a try! They also have a few games to play as you enjoy your drinks and a few books to read.

I walked in and got greated immediately! Got to try a few of the drinks, the blue mana, the slim chance, the mimosa and man you can tell they are putting in work the drinks and atmosphere wad fantastic. Also got to try the food some barbacoa tacos and AL pastor and the quesadilla. Man the green sauce is fire! Literally so hot but hurts so good! BLUF: when 80 s kids nerds open a brewery, this is the result. Fantastic atmosphere for gamers. Plenty of subtle easter eggs. I visited during their soft opening when only 4 beers were on tap, but their grand opening on the 24th will feature 12 beers (actually 11 beers and a seltzer). One of their bartenders, Travis, is awesome. He s quick and very knowledgeable of everything on tap. I hear he s brewed beer at home as well!

So much excitement as this little brewery finally opens! The beer is good, the staff are so friendly and the food truck is . Their non-alcoholic potions give me something to enjoy as I m currently pregnant, and even though they don t have high chairs, the space seems kid friendly to me. They haven t had their grand opening yet, and you can tell they are still getting settled in their space and making all the finishing touches. Definitely a place to keep coming back to! Parking: Not many spots but it seems like you can sneak your car in somewhere. Kid-friendliness: There were several families present with wide ranges of ages of kids. There were drinks available for kids specifically, and the TVs were playing some gaming and anime things that older kids enjoyed watching.
