Stopped by for lunch because I was in the mood for some Cajun food, and I am so excited that I found Tipsy Crawfish. The chicken and sausage gumbo was great. It had a little kick, but it was not too spicy and very flavorful. Had the crab dip as an appetizer, and I ate that so quickly, i forgot to take a picture. Very yum. The bartender was attentive and said they had a new menú. Looking forward to coming back and trying other ítems.

My husband and I stopped by last night for this restaurant game. They also had live music playing, the singer was amazing, had great volume even with the sound for the game on at the bar and the volume of people inside the restaurant. We sat at the bar top and ordered a couple of drinks. The bartender, Kaylee, was very nice and attentive to us despite having a full bar top. She handled it well with everything going on. We did look over a menu, but did not order anything. Next time we stop by we plan to order some food. A few guests at the bar suggested some items along side the bartender. We are excited to come back to this restaurant and try out their menu! The Tipsy Crawfish will definitely be a date night spot, especially on a Friday night with live music and even for Saturday nights when they have Karaoke!! I definetly recommend this place for a weekend spot to come out and enjoy the company you are with as well as the atmosphere.

The atmosphere is that of a restaurant/bar, but not as much on the walls as expected. There are tvs in the walls playing sports. We visited around 3pm on a Sunday and they were very slow (we were the only ones there). Ordered the cajun storm cocktail. It was good, but the waitress had to track down the bartender to make it. Good mix of liquor and juices, but not something you d feel a buzz on after one drink. The appetizer we got was the bayou bait is was shrimp butterflied and fried in their cornmeal breading. It was good. The tartar sauce is surprisingly peppery. The rest of the food was ok. Their gumbo was not bad but it lacked some flavor and not enough chunks of chicken or sausage. The tacos don t have a GF option (corn tortilla) but you can mix what meats you want. I got 2 shrimp and a fish (pollock) and they were messy to eat. Could have used a picked onion on them to bring the flavor together. Lastly was the chicken po boy, came out looking stuffed but the chicken was in the same breading as the shrimp and it was a dry which left much to be desired. However the hush puppies were good! They were slights sweet, not dry, soft on the inside and had a good flavor. The waitress we had was very engaging and made sure we had everything we needed at all times. She was also very knowledgeable on the menu and knew what she liked and didn t for recommendations. Would I go back, no. The price for all this was almost $100 (with tip) for 3 people. That s a hit pricey for a lunch on a Sunday.

I ordered take out for three. I dont eat meat, so Im always looking for a go to veggie dish. I was excited to try the Pasta Delicata, a zucchini noodle w/marinara. It was bland, bland, bland! Salt is inexpensive...use some! Also ordered The Classic (hamburger) with a coke. I had to ask for the coke and was surprised when I saw how small it was with a half inch of head space which means not much coke for $2.75. Couldve grabbed a bucket of coke around the corner at Circle K for less. The Chicken and waffles were just ok. For the $18 price tag it should have at least been served with real maple syrup and SPICY candied jalapeno bacon (bacon had no heat, nada, zero!). A jalapeno may have been waved over the candied bacon, which does not make for spicy candied bacon. All for over $50. I was really hoping to have a new dinner spot, unfortunately this 1st impression missed the mark.

My sister-in -law ordered the catfish and had to send it back. Everyone took a bite, and all agreed it was inedible and tasted like it was dragged through the sand. The shrimp was overcooked so much that it was incredibly difficult to peel. Our cajun spiced mozzarella sticks were anything but flavourful. You couldnt even taste salt in the batter, very bland. My boyfriend woke up sick early the next morning and threw up his chicken sandwich he regretted eating. The staff was very nice and apologetic. We got vibes that they spend a lot of time apologizing on the chefs behalf.

My wife and I finally broke down and decided to give Tipsy Crawfish a try. What a GREAT surprise!!! The restaurant offers a simple but well-tailored Cajun-driven menu. They have kept some gems from their predecessor (E.J. Wills) like the Dirty Wings and Feather sandwich, but have driven a stake in the ground to establish their own culinary identity. We visited TC around 5pm, during happy hour, and were promptly greeted and offered waters. We ordered a couple of Blue Moon beers ($1 off, mind you) and spicy kettle fries that turned out to be AMAZING. They were uniquely crunchy, sliced just right, and the seasoning was just perfect - our waitress offered us some more! My wife had the Cajun Pasta, which was delicious - shrimp were huge and expertly cooked, sauce was creamy and savory, linguini was al dente, just right. I ordered their standard cheeseburger, medium, and a side of Caesar salad. Now, I am a burger SNOB and am used to being disappointed when ordering medium burgers that, 99% of the time turn out to be overdone. Guess what? I got my medium burger! Its pinkish meat tasted fresh, well seasoned, a half pound of juicy, cheesy, dripping bliss. My side salad was HUGE, abundantly dressed, with tons of parmesan - not for the faint of heart, which I am NOT. Our waitress was very young but extremely professional, attentive, and helpful. She made the right recommendations and made us feel at home! This is now our neighborhood favorite tavern and will definitely be back. WE HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM!

First off, the food is definitely a dislike. Everything is expensive, but overly salty and bland. The lemon pepper wings are INCREDIBLY salty. Couldnt even finish them. The Pineapple Lychee martini was too overpowered with alcohol to enjoy. Burnt the back of the throat. The cheese sticks had no breading. Just a bunch of fried cheese. The brownie wasnt that great. Not worth 7 bucks. The fried pickles were again, too salty to enjoy. The tenders tasted okay, but that was about it overall. The server was attentive though. She just forgot a few things like napkins. We had to ask. We just came for karaoke honestly. Thats the only nice thing about this place overall. I think if the food was a little better it would have been worth it.

The bartender/server, Justin, was awesome. I ordered the seafood basket which consisted of French fries, catfish and shrimp. There was no option for hush puppies, even though the place is advertised as a CAJUN RESTAURANT + BAR. They had no option for the typical salad. The basket came out on a plastic basket that you would get a sandwich in. Absolutely horrible presentation. The seasoned fries were u seasoned, soggy and NASTY. How can you was up shrimp? Well, they did and they were not good at all. The catfish was ok; not great, but ok. The problem they serve one small piece of catfish. His place had been open for 4 months, so their grace period is long over. Worst Cajun restaurant I have been too. Oh, when I came there was only 5 people eating there. The owner did not ask me anything about the experience or do any type of greeting. So the atmosphere needs a lot of improvement. I am from Louisiana were the food is properly seasoned, the menu is appropriate and hospitality is abundant. Go to Fish City for a better experience and better food. Not sure if this place warrants a second try from me, but every consumer should make their own independent judgment. I mean, how is you not have hush puppies, bread pudding, and a regular lettuce and tomato salad on a Cajun menu. There was no shrimp and grits. If they can t do that, they should not be in this business. I have added a photo of the menus and a picture of my basket .

I have been here once and ordered take out from here once! The Crawfish Po Boy is amazing. I love the Remoulade sauce they put on it. I always get an extra side of it!! My husband loved the seafood gumbo, he especially liked the pretzel breadstick it came with. The only reason I am not giving 5 starts is because of the fried pickles, again the Remoulade sauce with the pickles is so good! But the batter doesn t stick to the pickles, the second you pick them up they fall out of the batter or if you bite into them all the batter comes off. However, the batter does taste good, I just wish it would stay on the pickle. Other than that the service has been great and the food is wonderful but a tad pricy compared to other Cajun places in the area!

Food is mediocre. Burgers have zero flavor, or seasoning. The étouffée crawfish taste super fishy, in a bad way where it sticks in your pallet after a bite. Not a good first experience. This is not the cajun food I expect for a Cajun specialty restaurant. Wont be back. Overpriced menu.

Went there the other day and. found it to be very lacking. Service was slow, incredibly slow, they were not busy. Ordered crawfish, when they arrived they were cold and completely over cooked, mushy and very bland. The others in our party order different things from the menu and their food was cold as well. To top it off they had advertised a special on crawfish for $5.00 per pound but charged me $8.00, if you didnt mention the $5.00 ad they charged the regular price (there was no mention in the ad you had to bring it to the waiters attention. Spoke to the manager and the owner, the owner was less than concerned and just kind of blew it off, no apologies, no offer bring a new order on. any of the food. I love crawfish and normally I would say the worst I had ever had was still good, but not here. here will be no second chance on this place. You want great crawfish go to Nates in Addison if that is to far try Razoos they serve pretty decent crawfish.

Needs WAY more time to become an enjoyable restaurant To start it off, no crawfish on Monday while two of their posters say there should be And when I asked the server she said they don t even serve it on Mondays On top of that, very slow and poorly trained service with little to no knowledge of menu Also, Bartender made a mojito that tasted like limeade with 0 sugar in it Literally left before taking more than 2 bites of a shrimp cocktail that took around 15 minutes to come out Needs extreme improvements I recommend koshi and 11/17 right next door Literally only came because koshi was closed. Biggest waste of $30 ever AND they charge fees to use a card instead of cash

Great atmosphere. Great shrimp poboy. The gumbo was a huge disappointment. I was born and raised in the heart of Cajun country, and the gumbo I was served is just not nearly as good as a gumbo you would be served in Eunice, Louisiana. With that said I will probably be back to try some of the other items on the menu.

I known the owners for years. The chef is pretty passionate about his Cajun food and not just turning out something run of the mill. My favorite is his étouffée sauce on anything. It s seems a bit hard to find as it s on the old spot for the e.j. gastropub right off of N. Stonebridge Dr . and their sign wasn t up yet (owner says it s on its way) . Anyway just an amazing Cajun spot doesn t feel like the same ol thing.
