Our server lady was great! Food was great, and the honey Chipotle on the chicken tenders was the BEST Ive had! I get let down by sauces with chicken wings constantly, and this without a doubt was AMAZING! One of my best experiences in a restaurant. And the watermelon flavored sweet tea was great! I have been to this location multiple times and have never had an issue. Today, I ordered an alcoholic beverage and the waitress started at it for what felt like forever. After saying she would have our order out she left and a couple minutes later the manager comes to ask for my ID AGAIN. She then proceeded to ask me everything on my ID and told me that I look nothing like the picture on my ID probably because I had my prescription glasses on. This was completely unprofessional and I have never in my life experienced this over a drink. So we decided to leave as I never even got the water that we asked for and do not wish to be interrogated over a drink. Perhaps find a better way to verify identification without being rude and snarky.

If I could give zero stars I would. Prefacing this I ve been a restaurant manager for 5 years. We had a party of 8. My family is in town for my son s baptism, and my cousins and I wanted to get dinner and decided on chilis. The waitress from the start had an attitude. We ordered drinks. She ID d us, not a problem. The problem started when my 30 year old cousins with NY state IDs were treated like criminals. They took all 6 IDs in the back to verify and had them there for 5 minutes in the back. My cousins husband had to go ask where they were at. Moments later another employee and a manager came back, then asked my others cousins husband what was he doing in Texas. Then tried to have all of them repeat all the info on their license. We are all born in the 90 s. 3 of them had the same last name and address on it as they are siblings. We took our licenses and left. It was honestly such a disappointment. And never in my 5 years as a FOH manager have I embarrassed guests or interrogated them on why they are in the state. Absolutely disgusting behavior, I will be reaching out to corporate on this matter as well.

I want a refund. I spent $85 on room temperature food that came out 6 min after ordering. My childs triple dipper was COLD. only the mozzarella sticks were fresh. The egg rolls were room temp, the nashville tenders were cold and over seasoned. My other child ordered the brisket burger. It was slightly warm and her fries were stale, cold and a few looked bitten already. They definitely came from someone elses plate. I had the ribeye mashed potato and broccoli. Also cold. Potatoes were disgusting. Even the drinks were nasty. Took 1 sip of the drinks and me nor my kids drunk. We left a table full of food and 3 full drinks.

I have been to this Chilis location multiple times (5+) with no complaints on previous visits. I attempted to order an alcoholic beverage at this visit, as I have previously done successfully in past visits. I was asked for my ID as usual. I handed the server my ID, and she stared at it for what felt like 5 minutes. She stated she would be right back and ran with it into the kitchen. I do have an out-of-state license as I am a dual Louisiana/Texas resident, and my ID is for Louisiana. I assumed maybe she wanted to verify with a more experienced coworker. After 5 minutes of a bunch of people taking turns looking at my ID, I was told my ID could not be accepted and I could not be served alcohol. I told the server I was okay, and proceeded to leave without ordering. Never have I had an issue utilizing a Louisiana ID to purchase alcohol at restaurants and liquor stores in Texas. For the future, I hope the staff receives appropriate training to verify out-of-state IDs to prevent this from happening from someone else. I am sure this will not be the only time someone walks in with an ID other than a Texas ID. People do travel across state lines after all ..

Tonight I was overly impressed by my amazing server who, despite having the ONLY full section on an out of the normal busy Monday, was very attentive, hospitable, and in a great mood. Her name was Madi and she blew it out of the water. I found out that the GM Ethan was helping cook in the kitchen tonight as well and it definitely showed, the food was great!

I ordered a large to-go order of 6 meals for a company luncheon at the to-go counter at 11:45ish today & I have to say Vanessa did an amazing job! She was incredibly patient, helpful, and very pleasant to conversate with & made sure we had everything we needed in our order. She was running around the entire place helping everyone & still taking care of her station, answering phones, and running curbside orders as well. She absolutely went above & beyond! She seems to be a very great asset to this location. All the staff seemed cheerful & helpful as well but I had to mention my experience with Vanessa, she truly made my experience wonderful, even if it was a brief one! I highly recommend this location.

I went on Monday night, about 6:45. I was told there would be a five minute wait. The lady came back to seat me and set me in an area where no one was seated. I looked at the menu and decided what to order. No one came. I sat there. I played several games on my phone. The hostess sat five people to my right. I sat there. Then, a waitress came around the corner and went straight to the table of five to take their order. I thought about causing a scene, but figured they already did not appreciate my business. When I went to leave over 20 minutes from when I was seated, the hostess didnt ask if anything was wrong, but she did tell me to enjoy the rest of my night. I guess this must happen so often that it doesnt even phase her.

I don t usually write reviews but this place has gone so far downhill.. we just left restaurants and our food was horrible. My husband got a ribeye and was so over cooked and was literally gray. Horrible. Then he got a beer off draft and was flat and disgusting. I got fajitas and they were not sizzle and room temperature. Our waitress was okay. Didn t ask if the steak were cooked correctly, has to ask for more water and never really checked on us to see how our food was. For our bill to be over $100 with terrible food and service..

We had not eaten at a Chilis in at least a decade when we decided to pop in for lunch last week. I ordered the brisket hamburger and my partner ordered a grilled chicken sandwich. This was by far the worst food weve had in a very long time. My brisket burger had absolutely no flavor, the french fries were cold and soggy, My partner said his chicken sandwich was cold and very undercooked. Our waitress never came back to the table to check on us, and we eventually had to ask the hostess to get our check for us. We definitely will never go back to this Chilis.

We really like Chilis and have been to many over the years. This one in McKinney is clean with good service. We had a great, attentive server. The food was hot and tasty. Id definitely recommend going for a decent meal where everyone in the fam will find something. The elote is delish. There are 2 issues that we have with this spot. We have a member of our family who is hard of hearing. This particular restaurant is extremely loud. Im not sure where you could sit where it wouldnt be very loud. Itd be great if the management would put in a little bit of sound mufflers or white noise machines so that it would be quieter overall. Even those of us with perfect hearing were having a tough time. Honestly, if youve got kids that can be a little disruptive in restaurants, this would be a fine place to take them. The roar of the diners would cover it. Second issue: the menu has been condensed. Less combos, less of you old favorites. The ribs are pretty great. The margarita chicken is great. Really, the food is pretty yummy. Its nothing revolutionary, but pretty much always good. I had a free chips and salsa, received the salsa with no chips, I also ordered a salad with ranch dressing, received the salad no ranch dressing. I was not sent the plastic ware I requested or a straw for my drink. While all these things may seem small it is the small things such as this that leaves a frequent customer with an unsatisfying experience. I normally don t leave a bad review but these small mistakes are becoming too frequent at this location.

Food was good, we were seated in the bar area because we were told they were running out of tables in the rest of the restaurant but we saw empty tables, it was loud and crowded with tables so we felt squeezed in... our server didnt really listen to what all we said, when we asked for 2 to go boxes and 2 containers for condiments he brought 5 boxes and no containers.... then he took part of my condiments and brought me others I didnt want...I asked for a water to go and no one else wanted any but he brought all of us drinks to go after we said no.....

Chili s is pretty consistent no matter where you go. This Chili s always seems a bit understaffed but we always get fantastic service and great food. We have never had a negative experience at this Chili s!

I got the barbeque brisket quesadillas. I loved it. They were out of this world. There is a wide variety to choose from. Like Hamburgers, steak, ribs, chicken, pasta, egg rolls, chilli and more. The girl that waited on us was super sweet and helpful. The total evening was really pleasant. We will be back.

Our server was gilbert and he was so amazing! Titos watermelon spritz was the drink of the month and it was so good, i aslo had the sangria swirl and it was so delicious. those drinks will have me going back every weekend! the philly cheese steak was a hit.
