Amazing local liquor store. Very friendly, knowledgeable staff. Great selection of liquor as well. They also have events in an event room which are a lot of fun. Totally worth the visit. Plus, they deliver as well.

Sips has some of the most beautiful wines at affordable prices to pair with high-quality food. Their 2021 Napa Valley | Iconoclast Cabernet Sauvignon is a Sip s EXCLUSIVE and could possibly be the best cabernet I have ever tasted and at a very good price. Tom and Amy are NOT just the owners of Sip s, but they are two genuine people that are good stewards of their business. They have my trust and my business, and I would highly recommend any foodie to stop in there and see their vast selection of fine wines!

I love this place! Tom, who is the owner is so knowledgeable and friendly. They have a wine tasting room and large room for events/classes. Tasted some of the best Tequila I ve ever had too. This place is a true treasure.

My wife and I stopped in to Sips yesterday. Tom and his staff couldnt have been more helpful. They brought us into their tasting room to try a few delicious wines and were extremely knowledgeable and helpful. Theyre also pet friendly, so no problem bringing our dog along for the visit. Their prices are competitive and it always feels good to support good local businesses. Sips will be a regular stop for us when we need to add to our wine collection.

We decided to check out Sips instead of driving farther to Total Wine in Allen. We planned to quick get a spiced or dark rum and head out. We were quite pleasantly surprised to be greeted by the very gracious owner, Tom, and given a tour of the store, a few delicious tastings, and an overview of the events they host. Understandably they are not able to stock as much as a place like Total Wine or match their exact price point, but their prices are very reasonable, their selection is quite good for their size, and their customer service and recommendations are 100% on point. Tom certainly didnt make us feel in the least like he was trying to push anything on us or move us to spend more than we intended, but did point us to some wonderful rum options and also blessed us with a tasting of the best tequila weve ever tried and a couple delightful red wine tastings. He mentioned also that if we wanted anything not already in the store, if we let him know he could have it within the week. They also offer delivery. This is the first wine and spirit store in McKinney that has actually impressed us. Weve been waiting for a Total Wine or similar to open, but now I think were both quite grateful to know about Sips and will be coming back. Looking forward to checking out some of their tasting events as well. Especially if youre in McKinney, support this local gem!

They dont just fill a need in McKinney, they excel at providing knowledgeable and affordable options. They also support local and offer events and tastings. I was at the opening..the entire store is awesome..! The selection of wines are unbelievable!! The staff are very knowledgeable and were very patient with me .. not only the wines but the allocated bourbons were awesome..some I have ever seen but intend to try.. can t wait for the event room to start!
