Im here traveling for my company. Rudest hotel I have ever been in. My husband will be addressing Marriott directly since he a hotel owner . Horrible customer service at checking. Noteworthy details: Unfortunately everyone in my party indicated they were not treated well either.

Ill keep this short and sweet. The hotel is phenomenal. Gorgeous bartender, great selection of snacks to purchase from the store, pool table in the lobby, very clean... but to be the first person your guests interact with, Latoya at the front desk really either needs to leave her problems at the front door or take a time out. Tried getting a credit card authorization form so that I could book the room for the night I needed it even tho I would be late checking in (after 1 am). Understandably, she couldnt get it for me without management. She said her drawer or whatever was locked (around 10pm). I tried engaging with her and speaking kindly but the look in her face and the tone she had was just very stern. If I didnt know better, she was getting fired at the end of her shift but was forced to stay til her shift ended. Not saying that was the case, but thats the vibe she gave off. Made me not want to be near the desk any longer than I needed to and definitely no longer ask her how she was doing. Hotel is amazing, but the people your guests have to encounter, matter.

I am incredibly disappointed with my recent stay at the Aloft Frisco. While the initial stay itself was satisfactory, the subsequent billing issues have left an incredibly sour taste in my mouth. Upon checking out, I was overcharged by $96 for incidental charges. I immediately contacted the hotel and was assured that this was a pending authorization hold and would be removed from my account within 7 business days. It has now been two weeks, and the charge remains on my credit card statement. I have contacted the hotel multiple times, providing photographic evidence of the discrepancy, but have received no resolution or even a clear explanation for the delay. This complete disregard for resolving a simple billing error, coupled with the lack of communication and follow-through, is unacceptable. Until Aloft Frisco addresses this issue and demonstrates a commitment to rectifying billing errors in a timely and professional manner, I cannot, in good conscience, recommend this hotel to anyone. This exact location also is not accredited on the Better Business Bureau s website as well so if you are to stay not only will you possibly encounter an issue but it will be a lengthy process to have it resolved that is if the issue ever is resolved.

Were told we could do an early check-in but upon arriving at the hotel, the desk clerk said no, that we would have to come back after 3pm. When we were finally able to check in, our room s thermostat was not working and it was quite hot. Fortunately the problem was fixed fairly quickly. We were also not told ahead of our arrival that the pool was closed for the entire time of our stay due to it not passing health department inspections. Lack of directions posted to find the one ice machine for the entire hotel located on a different floor than our room. All in all, we were very disappointed and will not use this hotel for future travels.

Dirty and tired. This place is not well kept. Pool was closed for some reason and elevator had an alarm going off the first hour we arrived. The air conditioner in our room was so loud that we moved to another room. Lobby bathroom is dirty with no soap, staff seemed overwhelmed.

Rooms are nice but there were a few issues. No soap when I went to the room, resolved in the morning. No TV remote in the room, resolved in the morning. However the biggest issue was the wifi. Most of the stay I was getting under 1mbps downloads speeds, quite often under 500k. Thats unacceptable for a hotel in a business park nowadays

Location : Well centralized in a commerce hub in frisco. Service : not super helpful we were stationed 3 floors above an outdoor fire pit near the bar. The noise of drunks being drunks downstairs was intolerable till the bar closed at around 11:30 pm each night, far past closing hours. So, couldn t sleep till they went in of course..Mentioned it to the front desk and they couldn t hear anything but would mention it to them to keep it quiet , yeah I appreciate the thought but that does nothing. When we arrived, our body wash dispenser in the shower was empty. Room: as seen from the above, the walls must be made of expertly crafted paper mách. Won t be back at this one, and honestly may be burnt off alofts in general. Will recommend that anyone traveling to the area avoid this one, especially travelers who are coming from a long distance and could use sleep lol. Rooms: Loud, thin walls. Walkability: Good walkability to local shops and restaurants.

This aloft is like the others however the front desk staff (yubia) I believe her name was is amazing. She worked on the morning and must have worn so many hats but ensured that you got the attention you needed. She made my morning every day being so positive. The bar tender at night was great as well. They had an indoor and outdoor fireplace so it was cooler at night and it was nice to have the fire. The fire pit didn t work which was a bummer so hopefully they fix that. Location was good and walking distance to a ton of places with sidewalks all over so I didn t even need to rent a car.

A lovely boutique hotel with good service (including shuttle bus service within 5km of hotel). Room is very nice and tidy and big windows for nice sky views. Extremely convenient location with target and restaurants within 5-7min walk just behind hotel.

be aware of any cancellation, i reserved it for wrong dates (3 months out) and i asked them to cancel my reservation in person at the hotel with the front desk . They told me it is all good, cancelled and refunded. It has been 3 weeks and now they are telling me , my room is cancelled and but it is not refundable. I asked them check the cameras that i was there and their front desk person told me it is refundable you can cancel . Now how is this a good business!!!

2 night stay, check in and check out process was smooth. Nothing real big stood out. Price was okay too, no deals going on at the time. Hotel has 2 elevators but only 1 seemed to be running. Overall building seemed to be muggy. The room itself was on the lowest temp but never seemed to be cold to our liking; when it was almost right the unit would kick off until it got too warm before coming back on. The shower was just okay. Our door that separated the toilet / shower from the sink had issues closing but it wasnt a big deal for us. Fridge was on the floor beneath the sink, which we thought was odd for a Marriott, but maybe its the style they were aiming for. Overall, okay spot.

internet was borderline unusable.... hope you dont have work to do! But location was great for visiting the Star and all things Cowboys where we had an event. Shuttle worked to get me there and back for free, pretty nice. Rooms were not the best, cramped and felt a little dirty (ceiling) and the bathrooms were super jammed and not, I dunno, ergonomic? people were nice. The food was below average, Korean BBQ Pork tacos were a shame given were in texas... overall I would stay here again as the price was good for the location but I would not eat here again.

Fantastic service and area for your pets!!! Rooms: Distance from your bed to the door is very nice. This really helped with our pup not hearing the hallway action. Loved the shower! Nearby activities: Stonebriar Mall. Frisco Roughriders. Right off of the tollway accessible for any plans in the DFW. 20 min from DFW Airport. Food and drinks: Fantastic snack area in the lobby. You can charge it to the room for convenience or pay as you go.

It got the job done. Outside it was 108 degrees. Inside it was nicely air conditioned. I arrived at 11am. They helped me find a room. I had to do a lot of video conference calls. The internet held up the entire time and my calls went on without a hitch. I had to print some documents for meetings. They had a very small business center. I had to take Ubers from the hotel a few times. There was never a long wait for Ubers. I had to work very late. The beds were comfortable and the rooms were quiet so I slept well. I wanted coffee in the morning. They had coffee makers in the room and free mediocre coffee in the lobby. I had to adhere to a budget. This hotel fit in with that budget. Aloft gets an A for effort.

Me and my friend were visiting from Canada for a concert. The reservation was made under my name. While at the concert my friend wasn t feeling good so she went back to the room which is 45 min from the hotel. When she arrived she realised that she had forgotten her room key. Since her name wasn t on the reservation the clerk (is name was David) refused to let her in. I sent my passeport and my driver s license to her so she can show my ids, her passeport, money and all her belongings were in the room so she asked if he could walk her there so she can show him her passeport and he refused. Instead of helping find a solution he was being extremely rude and refused to help her, leaving her stranded in the lobby with no money and travel document. I had to leave the concert which I initially paid 1000$ to drive back 45 min away so she can enter the room. I have traveled many times before and it s not the first time someone forgets their key and I have never been in a situation like this. It s unacceptable that a girl would be left without any money or passeport in a country she never visited before and where she knows nobody! Unacceptable that I had to waste money on my concert that I was forced to leave because Aloft refused to find a solution.

My partner and I have been staying here almost every weekend for a month to getaway for a night and Ive been disappointed as of late. The cleaning has not been good. 2 weeks ago we got a room and it smelled like pee we had to clean up the room. We stayed there Saturday August 26th and had to clean the shower it had another persons hair all over it. I walked across the floor a few times with my socks because I forgot my house shoes and my socks had so much hair on it that I had to use a lysol wipe to get all of off, (and the hair was NOT mine). Hopefully they can work on properly cleaning the rooms. Other then that its a great location and they have a bar, pool etc.

I really like aloft hotels but i think after this experience, i will never book one again. We had dirty bed sheets and there is mold growing in the window sill. Being the clean person I am, I bring in my own blankets and sheets but the next morning when i was cleaning throwing stuff to the side so it would be easier for the cleaning stuff, I came across very dirty and bloody sheets.

This is my favorite hotel in Fisco/Plano area. Its clean and well kept. The employees are so kind. Everyone from Augustine (Shuttle Driver) to Chris (Front Desk) is helpful and kind. I have so many different options but this is the best. Perfect location for walking to restaurants and shops. They also offer shuttle rides anywhere near the hotel.

Hotel is cute and trendy, but definitely caters to young adults. I would not recommend this hotel for large families or families with teenagers because of how the rooms are laid out. There is absolutely no privacy in the bathroom area, the beds are not queen, but full size, there is no space for luggage except the bench seating which for the most part is useless. They do have mini-fridges which are under the bathroom sinks, but no microwave in the rooms. It was also disappointing that they do not offer complimentary breakfast and the food options they do offer are quite expensive for what you get. Overall, its in a great location to restaurants and shops but would probably not stay here again. Rooms: Rooms are narrow and the overall layout is awkward. There is a lack of seating and the bathroom area is designed terribly. There is no privacy and the door opens right into the bathroom area. Wi-fi: Wi-fi is slow and is hit and miss.

For the duration of my stay, I could find three good things at the place > location > water pressure in the shower > accommodating a late checkout The rest of the experience was less than ideal, and the entire stay is acceptable at the best > the room had paint peeling off the wall > the fitness equipment is not maintained well; the exercise bike and the elliptical could not manage a smooth stride > my room was missing towels > the previous guests info was not cleared from the in-room media center > the front desk staff seemed less than engaged

My back has never hurt so badly after two nights on this mattress. I ve never even slept on a mattress that was this hard. If you can get used to that, the hotel itself is nice. But I really had a difficult time enjoying myself when conversing with staff. One time while at the desk asking to purchase a drink, the front desk worker answered a FaceTime call. That was weird. There was also an issue with being charged the entire price again on a different card when I had already used my points and booked/paid online weeks in advance. (No, it wasn t for incidentals.) It was just not at all what I m used to.

The hotel staff were friendly and the rooms were comfortable. The most entertaining part of this trip though came from the bar in the hotel lobby. The bartender working the place that Friday evening basically was rude to many customers, including myself and my family, and told us he doesnt care what the hotel says, he closes whenever he wants to. Instead of taking our orders, he decided to pretend to be closed for the night. We decided to go to a nearby bar, but on our way out of the hotel, nearly an hour later, he was still there and had people sitting at the bar. Very interesting fellow. Then the next day, we got a different guy, very friendly and helpful.

Not really impressed with particular one at all.. WiFi speeds are atrocities. The shower door in our room was so out of alignment, there was more water on the floor, then in the shower. Workers are friendly however.

Service was great. Enjoyed my stay. I stayed here during the ice storm to be close to work. The staff let me a bottle of wine and a thank you note for booking with them. The price was fair and the entire property was clean. The manager Amber was awesome. Her experience showed. I loved the decor and the piece and quiet. I highly recommend a stay here highly. Had problems with the key working and the reservation bc I booked it thru a 3rd party. But their customer service was amazing. They were very helpful and were very upfront and honest about the whole process. Thank you for a great stay! Love the rooms and the bed and TV and free subscriptions to watch.

Fast check-in. Convenient location. Room was ridiculously small and had lots of wasted space. Was not extremely clean and water was being shut off from 10AM to 2PM. Bed was worn out and pillows were awful. AC has no consistency even when fan selected on instead of Auto. Toilet was very low to ground but sink space was good. If youre going to have a mirror wall make sure the surface it is reflecting(vanity side wall) is clean.

The employee who checked me in was very friendly and the room was nice. However, they only have 2 entrances into the bldg making it very inconvenient taking my dog out, especially at night. The only pet waste station they had was out of bags. Around midnight, if the a/c wasnt on, freezing us out, we could hear a neighbors TV. And they charge for breakfast. Like...come on lol I couldve investigated that beforehand, but Im so used to it being included other places I didnt think twice. Wont be staying here again.

I used to work for Marriott for over 10 years so I understand the level of service needed to ensure guest satisfaction. I m not sure if this hotel grasps that concept. The rooms are very dusty and worn out. Pills are extremely flat which causes a very uncomfortable night for sleep. The bathrooms are rusty and the ac barely works. I tried to have my pillows switched due to allergies with the feather pillows and (after attitude to change It) they brought me back dirty pillows. I flipped there over and woke up with rashes all over the side of my face. When I called to report this , the FD was less than sympathetic and didn t really have a solution. The housekeepers do the bare minimum to clean, the FD staff are rude, and you can clearly notice that they don t sanitize or do anything to go above and beyond to make sure we re happy. Experienced a lizard in my shower , prior blood stains on my sheet, broken and unsteady mirror door, my main door didn t lock from the outside, and horrible guest service skills provided upon check in. After having to check out due to the conditions being unbearable, i came back home only to open my luggage and find bed bugs from the hotel room. I m extremely disappointed, frustrated, and disgusted. Only highlight is coming encounter with the manager who is willing to put her efforts in helping the situation

Huge and clean 2 queen bed room. New furniture or at least looks like it. They have special shuttle you can take. Great location. Huge desk in your room. Large shower. Everything felt huge. I loved this hotel. Their internet speed is around 10mbps. Not great but sufficient and the connection is strong. I was able to work with my laptop from this hotel for 8 hours without any connection issues.

Staff was friendly. WXYZ bar didnt open until 5pm, not the time on the Marriott BonVoy app. The one IPA beer on tap, (and only IPA they carry), at WXYZ was skunked. Pool is shallow and was not recently cleaned out. Most rooms overlook a parking lot.

Madison at the front desk is a Gem! Hold onto her because she made our stay absolutely wonderful! She was friendly, helpful and went out of her way to make us comfortable. Sheila, the bartender makes the best drinks and is super friendly too. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Will stay here again!

Lovely clean room, perfect for a short stay in the area. It is within walking distance to the ball field for the Frisco Roughriders. The bed is very comfortable. The pillows are a little soft for me, but thats just a personal thing. The young lady at the front desk was so delightful! Very friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay there again!

Not impressed by the afternoon front desk as it was not easy to check in and they had no desire to be helpful. Had to call the main number to Marriott to get assistance (they were wonderful). Liked the decor, but the bed was as hard as rock which made it difficult to sleep. Slight musty smell in the room, but clean and the layout is very cute. Supposed to be a smoke-free facility, but was not enforced. Will not stay here again.

Very sub-par compared to other Aloft hotels I have stayed in. I was pretty disappointed at the overall room. Not the cleanest. The fridge under the sink was weird. Killed a few ants. Room was hot even with a/c down to 60. This location is definitely overdue for upgrades and new cleaning staff.

I came to Dallas for the weekend to visit my sister who lives in Little Elm. I was glad I booked Aloft. Its in such a great location - Frisco. Immediately I noticed there was FREE parking which is huge because some hotels in Frisco charge for parking for some reason . Its not like this is NYC. Either way I was super happy about that. The grounds are also well kept. I walked in and right away I noticed the decor. Awesome set up. Check in was super easy. I noticed when I walked in as well that they had a pool, gym and strong wifi. Three must halves for a hotel for myself. Went to my room 227. Lovely room. Standing shower. Huge tv. Lovely little office desk set up. Nice large windows and ofcourse a King bed with outlets on each side. There is a mini fridge as well which I appreciated since I meal prep. They also had a safe and some hangers. Great room. Another great feature is the hotel has a 24/7 fitness center. So I didnt have to worry about the time when I wanted to hit the gym. I used the gym 2 out of the 3 days. Always had fresh clean towels and tons of water available. There are free weights, standing weight machine, along with two treadmills, two stairmasters, bench, water fountains, large mirrors and stationary bikes. Decent size for sure. Also lovely outdoor setting. Large enough pool with a lovely seating area around and s fire pit! Inside I didnt use the bar but the bar was clean along with the lounge area. Overall Id stay here again. For sure.
