NEVER will I ever eat here again, the lady that s works there aggressively ask for tip and if you don t t she will tell you , you HAVE to then have a audacity to add a gratuity on my tab .. Absolutely terrible service. My family went and saved a table and by the time I joined them, they had been sitting for 35 minutes with no drinks, orders, soup, or salad. Then we sat for another 20 minutes without being addressed by any staff and had to get up and leave. I expected way more from a Kobe franchise

Kobe is delicious. Its a hit every time we order! The flavors are hard to duplicate ( Ive tried ) the hibachi vegetables are my favorite! I also like their hibachi chicken, new York strip and Salmon. I always get my meals with white rice instead of fried rice .

We made reservations for a party of seven for Sunday, December 24 at 1:00 p.m. When we arrived the waitress informed us that they would only be serving off of the dinner menu. We advised her that we had a coupon for 10% off. She checked with the owner who told her that it was a holiday and the coupon was invalid. In addition, they added an 18% gratuity even though we had two separate checks. We have been going there for several years for special occasions. Needless to say, we will not be going back.

This was the 24th birthday for my son and we celebrate at Kobe every year. This was a different location than last year but the service and food was impeccable. Dare I say that my medium rare steak was cooked to perfection and that this location may actually be slightly better than the one that we used to go to. We all had a great time! Its a nice tradition that we love carrying on.

Alright so I tried to give this place the benefit of the doubt. The 1st time I came was late last year and it was so good. Very nice experience. Today was horrible. The steak was so tough I couldnt even chew it. Like literally chewing for minutes. Everything lack seasoning. Idk Im used to a different type if hibachi style. This wasnt it. I am not one to leave reviews but this was awful! I came in by myself to eat lunch.1st the lady was so rude and bothered that i was asking for sushi and hibachi on my own. But i have been here before and they gave me premade fried rice from the back and it was nothing like what you get at the table. Just poor quality. She sat me down at a table and immediately scoffs and rolls her eyes. I was going to get the 50% off buy one get one sushi as advertised on there window. The waitress said it s actually buy one get of 50% off (the sign is misleading) then she proceeded to tell me i can get it because i got water . And i was like well that just seems like she is trying to add more money to my tab. I ve never heard of such stipulations. Then my hibachi comes out. I got scallops and fried rice. Anyone who has had hibachi knows they use lemons. The man cooking my food put a ton of lime juice all over my scallops and vegetables. I saw and immediately asked about why he was putting limes on my food and said they were out of the yellow limes for lunch . Concerned because this gives it a different flavor profile. I then said something to the waitress and she said oh yeah sorry. Come back for dinner with people and we will have lemons it was horrible service. Then before deciding i was just going to leave. I grabbed the sow sauce and the entire bottle had a thick layer of grease on it. Used my napkin to clean it and the entire thing was covered in greese. Not to mention the sticky underside of my table. Gross and very rude to me. These lady dropped my check. Grabbed my money and didn t say a word to me after that. Such a bad experience.

Hibachi Dinner went wrong when waitress started playing rough demanding gratitude in check as to be min 15% while I willing to pay fixed tip. Management needs to eliminate this practice of coercing gratitude from clients! I will never go this place again. Racial profiling lost them a much larger tip. The food was ok, but the server refused to remove the gratuity from the check that I was paying for on my card so that I could tip her in cash. I literally had $40 on the table for the tip. The gratuity was $25. She raised her voice to argue with me before she understood what I was trying to tell her. When she finally understood that I was trying to give her a larger tip she said oh, let me talk to the owner. I told her not to bother; the little $25 on the check is all that she s getting and that I will never be back, but will leave a review letting others know.

Step into Japan! Authentic atmosphere and cuisine. It s a cozy neighborhood Benihana set up. Seating choices are perfect. Dine in table style of seating surrounded grill stations. The Hibachi chicken for lunch was served with a soup first followed by chicken and vegetables with ample bowl of fried rice. Delicious! Staff was top notch and service attentive. Noticed a steady flow of take out . If you like Japanese food you must dine here .

This place does reservations but I don t understand the point of them because my party was sat over 30minutes pass our reservation. They try to seat us at a table that was not enough seats for our party. So only half of our party was able to sit while others had to wait until the people on the other side left and they cleaned up the table. After that it took an additional 30 minutes before anyone even took our freakin drink order. Ridiculous! It s not fun sitting with a dry mouth at the table for over 30 minutes. We asked someone to at least bring us waters while we wait, well that didn t happen. Now we await for our order to be taken. That ll probably be an additional 30 minutes. We had a reservation and people who showed up after us without a reservation were sat before us and served drinks and their food orders taken. I usually liked coming here but I got to say tonight was the worst customer service ever!

We arrived at 7 on a Saturday night, knowing we would wait a little while. We had 2 kids, my wife and I. We were told for over 1 hour 10-15 minutes . Parties with reservations kept arriving and the staff acted surprised that parties with reservations arrived. After over 1 1/2 hours with a party of 20 arriving we left. This is not the first time this has happened. The food is a 6 or 7 out of 10, but we go for the kids to have the experience. HIGHLY recommend if you like to get IGNORED!

Horrible service. I came to eat and not for an argue. My total of my food was about 85$ and I left a decent amount of tip for what I received. Don t get me wrong, I always leave a good tip wherever I go because I used to work in the food industry. I had cash so I asked her if she had change for a $20 she said yes but brought back $15. So I put the money in my back and left because she took $5. It took forever after being seated for the chef to come. Maybe they don t have much staff right now but wish they were upfront about how much time it would take. Average to below average food is the best way to describe it. Rather bland and not much flavor or spice. Only dishes we enjoyed were the onion broth soup which was flavorful and comforting. The ginger salad was crunchy and the dressing was very good (just too much of it on a small salad) Looking around our hibachi table, portion sizes were uneven. Fried rice - bland. Chicken - bland. Tips are optional. In America your employer employees you for a service and you work for an hourly pay that is agreed on between employe and employer. Tips are given when the customer feels you did an exceptional service and wants to leave a gratuity which is a tip. The three of us game into eat and my son left a tip upon the service rendered. The waitress came back to the table and asked us for more money due to the tip not being what she expected. We don t mind tipping. We pride ourselves on being good tippers but we also do not reward bad service. This attitude of entitlement is disgraceful.

For the actual food, this place has superior everything to most hibachi places. The soup, salad dressing, rice, noodles, and protein have all been consistently better than anything else in the area. This is the last time I come here. I was chased out the door yrs ago from the woman that works there as I didn t give enough tip in her opinion and then proceeded to yell at me in her own language that I didn t under stand. Today 4/23/22 I went in to use there advertised on here deal of kids eat free with EACH paying adult that ends 5/2/22. When we get here there is a sign in front say one kid free for every two adults. When I questioned it and showed them my phone and that was not what was posted she took my phone (without asking) showed another person. She said they wouldn t do so I said I wanted to talk to the owner and she said NO. I was taken back by this answer and asked why and she just laughed at me. So I said that s ok I ll get him to which he proceeded to look confused and when I asked if they do this to get people to come in and eat them with them and not honor it and he said YES!!! White rice smelled terrible, like cheap microwave packets. the California roll had a weird aftertaste. they put part of the bento box all in one corner so it pour out when we picked it up. They have always had kids eat free on weekends. Last night they claimed they changed policy to 1 child eats free per 2 adults. That is fine, we have no issues paying for one of our children (probably should post that in place of kids eat free however). Another issue is the upcharge of $2.50 to change the steamed rice.to fried rice. They only added a little egg to it. I mean it really was not much different other than they tossed it in soy sauce. But $2.50 times 6 poeple...people... just made me pay a fortune for freaking rice. Wont make that mistake again! And $2.50 for drinks! Gosh we were $30 into dinner for drinks and rice! We didnt even get drink refills! So we love the food, but we probably wont go back because of the upcharges. That is alot. We do not mind paying for dinner at all, but this one is just a little insane with upcharges. Also, the bathrooms need a good cleaning. One of the doors was off the hinges in womens room and diagonal placed in front of the toilet! And the whole bathroom has a very bad odor. I was just told the rice was actually $2.95 each upcharge.

Large restaurant separated into Hibachi to the left and Sushi on the right. Nice little sushi bar you can sit at also. Sushi side has big wooden blocks to sit on with no cushion so, you might want to bring your own cushion. lol Decent regular menu selections with affordable prices and a good sushi selection also. We were pleased with the taste of our appetizers and sushi and will be going back to try some other items on the menu. Vegetarian options: Not a vegan or vegetarian restaurant but they do have several items on the menu. Parking: Strip mall type area with adequate parking spaces right outside. Kid-friendliness: They have some kid friendly menu items and even some kids under 10 eat free on certain days/times deals. I was going to happily give this place 5 stars until I saw the bill. I have come here multiple times for their awesome 50% off sushi special on Wednesdays. However, on my most recent visit I see they conveniently added buy 1 get 1 under the 50% off on the window in small writing. My fault for not seeing it when we walked in, but I was very surprised to see an extra $20 on the bill for lunch. Combine that with a mandatory drink order and an automatic 18% gratuity on the bill for TWO people, it seems a bit of a greedy overreach. (And they wouldn t allow us to take home our last couple pieces bc sushi special so I forced myself to eat it. ) Not a great lunch special anymore. I always tip at least 20%, but the way it was added quite inconspicuously to the bottom of the bill rubbed me the wrong way. If not paying close attention, you could easily miss the extra charge and tip twice. I ve really enjoyed the meals when we ve gone, but sadly we won t be returning.

I dont know what happened but before their deliveries were up to date but the last one like Delivery took more than 30 minutes and for me it was embarrassing since it was my first bad experience I saw that there were very few staff because the person who charged attended and served the food gave me very sad because I saw it as stressful and a monetary loss for me.

Second time here. The 1st time was in January & they seated us with a family who could not control their children. We left overall without eating (it was too much listening to the kids telling their parents off). The staff at that time did not care how uncomfortable this was for us all. Well we tried this place one more time on Friday & it was the totally opposite. Atmosphere, Service & the Food was excellent. Will definitely be back.

We just ate at Kobe Steak and Sushi and the person that did the cooking and tricks was so kind and interacted with the costumers, more than most. The food was incredible. I would definitely recommend it to every one.

It was ok, definitely not my favorite hibachi place. I was nervous that my chicken wasnt cooked completely because it had a strange texture. The yum yum sauce was extremely disappointing as it was just yellow mustard poorly mixed with their ginger sauce.

Had to wait to be seated until entire party was there. At that time, there was absolutely no one else in the restaurant and it was not air conditioned in front waiting area. Uncomfortable. We could have been at table enjoying drinks, and appetizers. Once seated, it was good foid and service.

Closing 15mins prior to your closing time for no particular reason, but then seeing on your website that you close at 9:30PM and I was 45mins early makes it more annoying to drive 25mins and being turned away.

I got takeout. Was excited about my Hibachi. However, when I came to pick up, there was no one at the front so I ended up waiting just to pay. They looked understaffed. The food was alright but I was really disappointed that they didnt even give me a full handful of vegetables and most of what they gave me was rice. The chicken was too salty and was drenched in sauce. I wont be back.

hibachi is my favorite food so I was really excited for my carry out. I usually order calamari and scallops when I go so I did that here, too. This restaurant used calamari rings instead of a calamari steak to make their hibachi. Disgusting overcooked and rubbery. It was literally terrible. They also offer Kobe noodles which is usually a lo mein noodle at most places. Here it was a pile of skinny noodle mush and no vegetables were included in mine. I threw it away. The fried rice was barely fried. It was just white rice with a little soy. The white was still showing. The vegetables were good. The scallops were ok, smaller than usual. But the portion size is small for hibachi. Overall, this is a place I will not be back to and it was a waste of $$$$.

Terrible service we got here at 6:45 and our cool just came out which is now 8:30. Definitely do not recommend if you are in a rush or have to be somewhere at a certain time period cause they will make you late for it.

Overall food was great! Service was a little slow. We happened to go on a Wednesday at lunch when sushi is 50% off. I ordered a combo hibachi and my boyfriend ordered 5 rolls of sushi. We had to purchase a beverage other than water to receive half off which wasn t a problem. We ate about 3/4 of the sushi and were then informed we were not allowed to take it home since it was half off which I thought was strange.

Food was good, service was awful (we ate in the sushi side), drink was never refilled so I didn t tip, I left cash the total was 40.86 and I left 41 cash and started to leave at the door I was confronted and yelled at for not leaving a tip, for bad service, will not be eating here ever again. Good service= good tip

It was a pretty nice experience. Food was delicious and service was good even with a noticeable short staff. They automatically add tip for parties over a certain number...so that was really the only thing that i didnt care for. And honestly...I would have given 3 times more of a tip if they would have let me decide for myself how much i wanted to tip.

I wish I had went to the bathroom before I ordered and ate. The bathroom was disgusting for a restaurant that was not busy, the bathroom looked like it hadnt been cleaned in days, the stench was worse. The food was ok, my scallops were not washed properly.

Led here by google reviews. Way more expensive then benhiana, the experience was not even worth the $165 tab for 3 adults and 3 kids (no alcohol was purchased) gratitude included. Personally do not agree w locations adding gratitude, when they do i do not add to tip they can stay w what they took. Short staffed, mushroom soup tasted like a hint wet towel/rags. Waited 40 min to be attended after calling in an hour ahead. The show or whatever you want to call it was only like 10min and it was a rushed experience having that there was 3 other tables waiting. We where also skipped a party that arrived 20 min after us was served first. The menu prices are not the same as what is charged. And apparently if you choose fried rice their is a 2.95 charge to every rice bowl served. The waitress was going from table to table picking up drinks to refill while every straw touched her hand/wrist. Probably caught a little covid here. Could do better keeping location sanitary.

So this is honestly an odd experience. This is the second time i ate here and the food was good as usual. However this time, the server just seemed dismissive to us and we waited for 5 min before being seated. Wasnt a bit deal but I just didnt tip this time. I wouldnt have left a review but she stopped me at the door pretty frustrated that I didnt tip and now I probably wont return.

Rude staff, not very clean, the restrooms were disgusting, the table was sticky and gross. The hibachi chef was very polite and mildly entertaining. Food was decent but small portioned. Wont go back. Stick to the one you know.

Visited this place for the first, and last time tonight. This place was extremely understaffed, and couldnt keep up with the amount of tables they were serving. There was literally only 2 servers, and one was the hostess as well. The sushi was average, but the rest of the food was good. If youre looking for a good hibachi/sushi restaurant with good service. My recommendation would be to go else where.

This place is severely understaffed. We walked in and waited over 10 minutes for someone to even acknowledge we were standing there in the lobby and waiting to be seated. There was no one eating in the main dining area and only two families over on the hibachi side of the restaurant. There was no hostess in sight. When someone finally came by and seated us, we ordered our food and didn t see a waitress again for a long time. There were many people who continued to walk into the restaurant waiting for someone to greet them and seat them. At one point, more than 10 people were standing in the lobby waiting for an employee to come by. We sat there and watched as people literally started leaving because no one came by to seat them. It was insane. The entire time my fiancé and I were eating, the phone was ringing off the hook. The only good thing is we waited only 30 minutes for our food to be served, but the food was just average. We have both had much better food at other sushi/hibachi restaurants. We finished our food and waited another 30+ minutes for our waitress to come back by. I had to get up to find the waitress to even get our check.This was our first time dining here and will most definitely be our very last time. I would not recommend dining here to anyone. I don t often write this long of a review but this is one of the very worst and longest dining experiences we have had. To whoever owns this place, you REALLY need to consider hiring more staff.
