Even though I only saw one man working, he was Friendly, pretty helpful with making our decisions, and even allowed substitutions. We went there last month while my Daddy was in the hospital. It was our Momma, my sister and I. We no longer have a Long Johns Silver in Sherman, so we we excited to be close enough to visit. I believe that I am going to make another trip to McKinney, just for the Fish and Shrimp platter! Yes! Im already thinking about going today!

This value and quality of food has took a dive on this, particular longjohn silvers.I have been to others always fresh hot value portions.I went the other night to get a shrimp and fish basket combo food was barely ,warm super small shrimp. A total count of 5 stale waffle fries I was upset literally I can go down the street get better portion for less will not recommend or ever go back if you value your money avoid this place not long john silvers this place greenbeans at this place are also nasty flavorless and the fish is all soggy full of oil not even crispy just disgusting

Ive gone to this particular Long Johns a couple of times throughout the years. Usually the food is always decent with no complaints. I wont be returning because the lid for my drink was covered in mold. Mind you, I didnt notice this until AFTER Id taken a few drinks. When I turned the cup to put it back in the cup holder I noticed what I initially thought was dirt under the lid. Upon closer inspection, it was clear the lid had been wet at some point as the mold was growing in between the plastic where the lid had began to separate. I understand that greasy fish and fries isnt the healthiest, but no need to add a side of mold with it.

I had some hard pieces of fish and chicken I took a picture of it cuz I was trying to let them know because I instacart and Uber eats I bought food and when I tried to call them the phone never did pick up and never did answer. I came back with another my receipts because they didnt answer and yet they did not honor replacing the three things that were messed up I didnt want my whole order back but they didnt turn around and give me the three things that was messed up I will not eat at the one in McKinney off of 380 and 75 which University drive wont do it theyre rude

Where do I start? Well when we walked in the door the place stunk no doubt because of the water. Then either the person taking our order got it wrong or the computers are messing up because while we were waiting for our order another man walked up and said his order was wrong. We were overcharged the total of our bill. The person that I assumed was the manager gave my husband back the $3.00 it was the difference for the bill. We have heard from more than one person who goes to one of the DFW Long John silvers that the fish is now greasy and I confirmed that for this location. It looks like they painted the outside of the building on the front, but the inside is run down smells bad and looks like the whole place should just be demolished. On a more positive note: please come to Bonham Texas we want a new fish place. Captain Ds is no longer there. I AM HEART BROKEN ABOUT THIS STORE!!!!!

I dont get the LJSs slander, its soooo good!! The fish was super fresh and crispy, the crunchies were crunchy and yummy, and the hush puppies were as delicious as they possibly could be. My only complaint is they forgot our crab cakes and the chicken was a bit dry. Oh, and Im not a giant fan of their French fries, so Ill probably get a different side next time. Yes, LJSs is very greasy and unhealthy, but you dont eat there for your health. You eat there because its delicious and maybe makes your day just a little better. Its delicious and made my tummy happy. Dont listen to the haters, you need to try it for yourself.

We have been here three times. First time the food was good. Not too greasy and it was hot. Went back the second time and the food was poor. It tasted like it was sitting there. Today, we went for the last time. Their prices have jumped up and heard another lady placing her order who mentioned the same thing. Over $21 for 2 people to eat fast food greasy fish. French fries werent real hot, fish was hot but very greasy. I had one piece that was so thin, I was wondering where the fish was. The coleslaw was good. No ice in the drink machine, no iced tea, and the salt in the little packets were damp for some reason, as the salt in all the packets clumped together. No military discount. They used to. All in all, totally disappointed in the service, the food especially, and overall cleanliness of the inside. Sorry, my last trip here. And I dont want to hear from management, unless they want to refund my money. They always sugarcoat their answers and say they will or they are working to correct the issues brought up.

I went to the drive-thru there was three people ahead of me but they had already ordered. I pulled up to to order and no one came on for about 4 minutes then every 3 minutes or so someone will come on saying Ill be with you in a minute. All the cars in front of me left l. Was in line for a total of 16 minutes in the same spot not moving. I reversed and pulled back into the spot still nothing so I left.

I get there at 6:30 PM on a day they close at 9:00 and the doors were locked but there were people in there eating. No worries, so I go through the drive thru. Makes the 2nd time in a row I did not get my coselaw. I looked in the bag before I pulled away and it looked like it was in there but it turned out to be a cup of tartar sauce. Im 20 minutes away and not going back. I tried calling but no one would answer the phone. Get home and everything is overly greasy. Employees need to quit goofing off and pay attention. $15 - $16 for one combo is too much if youre not going to get everything and have poor quality of food. I use to love going here but something has changed.

Ive always liked Long John Silvers, however I feel like theyve been becoming a bit lax on their restaurants appearance and upkeep. While the food and service is still very good, I am concerned the building is falling into disrepair with broken eaves and weathered external appearance. Renovation might be in order so as to make the place more inviting. This is by no means a critique on the food, I feel the food has improved over the years, being less greasy/oily. More seafood options would serve it well eventually. Dietary restrictions: Fish and Chicken dishes. Parking: Parking lot is open to every customer and not shared with other nearby businesses.

I dont live nearby a location, so I try to visit the one in McKinney when I can and it is usually decent. I have NOT been able to eat for 8 months. I had to be fed intravenously. It was pure HELL! When I asked my doctor if I could eat Long John Silvers (I missed it so much) he said NO PROBLEM! Absolutely rude manager !! They never have the lobby open and if you ask them why theyre not open they give you much attitude. Worst customer service in the fast food industry. The manager needs medication and possibly hormone therapy.

Every time I go to this place they dont put all my order in bag.Hadnt been in awhile thought had gotten better but no worse. An the fish is very grease never golden like Capitan Ds.Tried to call an let them no they forgot again to give me all my order I paid for no answer this place is trash need to be shut down. Will never go back.Dont waste your money
