I visited Lali Son: Nepalese Restaurant in Leander last night and had a great experience. I picked up my order just before closing, and the staff were friendly and attentive, checking on my order and letting me know it would be a few minutes. I tried the chicken tikka masala, garlic naan, and vegetable samosas, and I can honestly say it was some of the best food I ve had. I ordered the spicy chicken tikka masala, which was perfect for me, but I m considering trying the Lali Spicy next time for an extra kick. Everything was delicious! While there are other good places nearby, this one really stood out. I ll definitely be back.

Lalison s food is so good it was great spice level and flavor. The atmosphere is like a desi dhaba park with food trucks but it is clean and reminds me of India a lot. The service was great, Shiva was a great waitress and was so helpful! We will definitely be back.

Im not sure what happened to this place, maybe they have new management or something. I was a regular here for 3 years, but the last two times I got butter chicken curry it was watery, today the rice was dry, and the chicken was burnt black on all sides, I thought they put a piece of lamb in by mistake, but no, just completely burned had to spit it out. The problem is, this place isnt the cheapest either. They are nice people, and in the past they really had great food, but Im looking for a new place with consistency.

Quick easy, friendly, and delicious. Always worth a visit. Update: This operation thrived on convenience and pretty friendly service for an indian restaurant. Living in the center of a rapidly developing area of suburbs in a lazy world, it (rightly) thrives as it should, its a smart setup. However, I have had my first bad experience with them since their opening, and i feel i should share it. On Google and yelp they recently updated their hours to reflect that they are open in the bridge between lunch and dinner. Today I just so happened to want indian food at an unconventional time. So I call them to put in a pickup order, and the lady on the other side said Iml sorry sir, we are closed after 3:00 until 4:30. I said In that case you should know that your Google and yelp say you are open. I thought it was something they should know in case it was an accident. She says ,what would you like to order. Whether it was accidental or an intentional lie to get me off the phone and work out of her hand, each member of a restaurant business should know when that business opens and closes. And if your business lives and dies by its central location and easy experience compared to other Indian restaurants. You cant have a showing like that. Now I dont now hate this restaurant, and I will be going back because it still tastes good, abd it is super convenient, but this is not acceptable.

One of THE BEST Indian food places I have tried. The owners were friendly, and chatted with my while I waited for my food on my lunch break. It was fast, soooo flavorful, and overall a great experience. The owner even let me try some homemade chai and mango lassi. It was delicious!!!

I can never remember to take pictures of the food for the review because its soo good. My favorite is lamb biryani. I wanted to try the shrimp fried rice but ended up going with mild biryani and gulab jamun. They are always nice and Ive never had to wait a long time for orders. Pleasantly surprised by the wonderful food we ordered via Uber eats from here! We were craving Nepalese momos and we usually order from another place . But wanted to try this new restaurant for a change . We ordered the vegetarian chili momos (medium spicy), chicken biryani (medium spicy) and rasamalai. Everything tasted great! The spice level was so apt for us and we usually do not prefer biryani that is heavy on the masala and this one was just right with the correct amount of spices for us and really tasted good . Rasamalai was soft and well made . Chili momos were the highlight and were really good ! Will definitely order again from here or go in person to check out the ambiance and service .

Well as it had 4.8 stars, I thought of giving it a try. Definitely not Nepalese flavors - at least for the Mo:Mo I have ordered. It is just some random spices with different flavors. The Chutney feels like some tomato salsa rather than Mo:Mo chutney. The food taste is okay for the efforts but it is not Nepalese Mo:Mo for sure. I have also ordered some noodles, they feel too dry and raw as it turns into dough while chewing. I didn t understand how everyone had positive experience with food taste but me. I usually don t write reviews but only doing it as people who have actually had Mo:Mo before, it isn t the same. I am just sad I am not gonna be able to eat the food I have ordered.

This is the third time we ordered food from Lali sons. This time we ordered noodles and chilli chicken from them and the food made all of us sick AGAIN- we were down with stomach pain and dehydration.. The food was hogh on salt and chicken pieces where refried. My mum puked the whole night after eating the noodles. They clearly do not maintain any hygiene in their kitchen. I would not recommend them at all.

I mean, atmosphere is a gas station; but that s where the only missing star exists. Aside from that? Amazing flavor, great service (try some tea while you wait). The spice level is perfect, although I did specify a little lower than absolute nuclear, just because I wasn t sure how much they liked to bring the pain to the unsuspecting new customer. The wait wasn t long and he kept letting me know how long to expect it. The Nan is great, not amazing but it sat in the car a while. The tikka masala is probably my favorite, I went with lamb and then chicken biryani. The samosa chat was a little different than I m used to, but definitely tasty. This is a perfect spot because I usually take my Indian food home so they don t see me cry. I ve had spicier, but again I didn t tell them give me the stuff you feed your enemies level. This place has amazing food, consistently delicious! I get food here a lot. Recommend calling and ordering in advance, then give about 30 minutes for pickup. Great food and don t forget to tell them the spice level you want. Delish!!!

Surprisingly great food for a small restaurant in a convenience store! I first stumbled across Lali when I was getting gas and beverages and thought Why not? Sharks Burger started in a store, they might be just as good. I wasnt disappointed. They have fantastic Chicken Lollipops that are free from gristly and plump, plump, plump! I love the variety on the spice, too - you can get most dishes mild, regular, spicy, extra spicy, or even Lali Hot (too spicy for me, but my friends tell me its worth a try if youre a spiceaholic). Other dishes worth mentioning that Ive tried are the Butter Chicken, Gobi 65 (really nice with the Lollipops), and Chicken Korma. Price is very solid as well, with them typically being about 20-30% cheaper than most other pickup / delivery locations in the area. My only complain is quite often when I order pickup from Doordash or Uber, they often dont make the food until I get there, which means a couple of times Ive had to wait an extra 15-20 minutes despite ordering in advance. Parking: Convenience store parking lot.

Really tasty Nepalese/Indian/Indo-chinise food. Adjusted the spice level to perfection as per our request. The owner also offered me complimentary tea. The tea was nice too. The place is inside gas station so not so great on the atmosphere but they have some benches in the backside. But the food, service and great attitude makes this place worth a visit.

Wonderful friendly service, and authentic food! A must try for southeast Asian / Indian / Nepalese cuisine in the area. The butter chicken is phenomenal.
