Some of the staff are not the nicest to deal with. They have no on-site showers. The bathrooms are ok, just very little lighting. There are not very many places for horse trailers to plug in. The barn for the horses is so hot. Once the barn is locked, there are no bathrooms. I dont recommend coming to a horse show at this location.

I have very bad experience, gave the star to the staff who helped me to prepare the event but ,after that they stopped me event and asked all my people to leave and that because one of the kids picked a flower from out side and I have insurance and the event was public

It was a fun experience. Had a campfire night and made smores. Decent size campsite, restrooms were walking distance, a couple of foot bridges over dry creek beds. Pavilion and picnic tables sit at the top of a hill, so if there were any rain, it would run off and not flood the campsite.

Myers Park and Event Center is a fabulously large facility for the plant shows, horse shows,etc...they have an educational building available for classes and other indoor events as well...the park is wonderful and the trial gardens are a short walk up the hill from the event center...this whole property is so beautiful and a short drive on 380West - McKinney... put it on your bucket list!...a great time is guaranteed!...

Attended Moto Xtreme circus at Myers Park and Event center, it was an amazing experience. The event center is quite big with ample parking space. The event center has space separately for cattle shows, space for event like circus and even for wedding. And the place also has a public restroom.

Horses Honoring Heroes hosted a BEAUTIFUL ceremony for Memorial Day. Thank you to the hosts and the park for such a moving event! It was good to be back at Myers Park. I showed livestock there for my entire childhood. Good memories, great times.

I ve been going to this event every year for a very long time. Today I went & was so disappointed! Many of the vendors who have been at the show year after year weren t there. And the ones who were, had a very limited inventory. We were in & out in 30 minutes whereas in years past, we could easily spend a couple of hours browsing! I don t know what has changed but I won t be spending $15 for admission again.

$15 for parking because one thing we all know about parking on a makeshift parking spot on a dirt patch in middle of nowhere comes at a premium, after paying a couple of hundreds of dollars in non-refundable tickets. Very greedy. Will never attend any event held in this location again!

Meyers Park and Event Center is a great place to hang out and a great facility to rent. Meyers Park is maintained by the city of McKinney and by volunteers of the Collin County Master Gardeners. This is a research garden, so you can come here to see what grows in our area. There are horse shows and dog shows in the stables. There are two annual garden sales. This place is packed full of adventure and good times.

This place is absolutely beautiful. The grounds are well kept and to enjoy a nice stroll outside, this place shows mother nature at its finest. We are lucky enough to visit here yearly as our daughter runs cross country every year here, usually twice. Will add photos of the grounds soon.

Myers Park & Event Center was the most wonderful wedding venue! We got married here in May during a torrential downpour, and the staff went above and beyond to make sure our day was wonderful! What couldve been a stressful situation went by so smoothly thanks to Eric and Lee. Mark also did an incredible job answering all our questions throughout the whole wedding planning process. We cant recommend Myers enough!!

Entrance and parking was a nightmare. We showed up over an hour early and still missed more than half the show. Paid $100 for 30 mins but I drove from 40 mins away and my family was in the car nearly 2 1/2 hours. We passed numerous gates. I would recommend better entry points for future events.

Myers Park Gardens and event center is a marvel. It is where to see what to grow in Texas. This internationally recognized group of Earth-Kind Research and Demonstration Gardens serves as an outdoor learning laboratories where Master Gardeners share research-based information about Earth-Kind principles and demonstrate effective Earth-Kind landscaping. I enjoyed my class at this location and installed the Eart-Kind principles at my home.

We used the gazebo for our wedding location. It was a beautiful setting for our big day and very affordable we spent around $400. They have chairs and a speaker/microphone for the DJ you can rent out. Everything else is on you. You cannot set up early, you get the time only that you reserve for. Have a team of friends and family that are willing to set up and tear down while your doing pictures. It s all on you for decor. My pictures were beautiful!

Really cool venue! We went for the Vintage Market Days. The atmosphere was a fun. My two criticisms are the parking wasnt enough to accommodate all the patrons. We had to park in a field. It was rainy, so the field was wet, which meant my shoes were cracked with mud. They ran a shuttle, but you still had mud to walk through to get to it. Also, the bathrooms had the narrowest hallways Ive ever seen! No way you could get a wheelchair or stroller through with ladies waiting.

Had my wedding here back in 2016. Very pretty and perfect place for a wedding. The reason for the 4 stars is because there was a little confusion with what was approved. We let them know that we wanted alchohol like the whole shebang(liquor&beer). Pretty sure we mentioned liquor. That was fine He let us know that we would need an officer and a licensed bartender. The place hired the officer. Officer came with his kid and they fished in the background during the ceremony. Then after the bartender opened up all the liquor bottles(now we cant return them) the officer told him no liquor only beer.... Officer never spoke with me, but was rude too my husband and other guest. Good thing we had people from out of town stay at our house, so they had a little after party there. (Side note) little extra to use projector not much but wouldnt work during and they took that off our bill with no problems.

Meyers Park is a great facility. Theyve done alot of upgrades over the years. However, they still have a problem with breakers blowing during busy times(although fewer than years past). The other issue is the sound system. The speakers are old and should not have been chosen for a giant metal building. Very hard to understand anything.

Went to a wedding at The Landing (originally scheduled for the Pole Barn, but the owners allowed the couple to move locations due to weather) recently. Beautiful location, lots of space for the bridal party to get ready, and lots of free parking spaces. Plenty of kitchen space for vendors to get set up as well.
