Even though I was an out of state client, the entire team makes you feel welcome and always open to communication - whether it be Zoom, phone calls, or in-person meetings. I have nothing but great things to say about this law firm, specifically about Steve and Sara!!! They handled the challenge of representing my brother, who picked up his case in Kyle Texas, where circumstances in this case where beyond the usual. Medical issues, long distance communication with me(I live outside Odessa Tx) , and the delays an complications that Covid precipated in the legal time frame, did not interfere with the quality and care in the legal service provided. I was continually kept up to date on every aspect of the proceedings,all questions I had were answered, and most importantly Steve was my brothers voice to the court. I was hit by another driver head-on who was arrested on site for 3 charges. My car was totalled, my life was changed forever because of this wreck, medical bills, including numerous neurologist and physical therapist bills, added up, and the at-faults insurance pay out simply wasnt enough. Kyle Law Firm had to push my own insurance company to pay out my full undersinsured motorist policy which I pay for yearly! After mounting all the evidence through great communication and organization in their part, I received the full amount. They also took the time to teach me about the legal process, as it gets very convoluted in cases like this. They laid out all my options and allowed me time and space to make my choice. When I called the Kyle law firm I was in a very low place, I was unable to work from my injury from being rear ended and my work was less than sympathetic. I was represented my this firm for 4 years. Fred Claudius was my direct attorney. They not only wouldnt communicate for days. I would get excuses for a daughter dance in Houston ... I dont care if you have a family life just keep it to yourself. I dont care about your family storytelling. Your paid to be attorneys and representatives of ME. They had an employee borrow thousands of dollars from me and quit ( or got fired ) and she stopped paying me. When I had a problem with Fred it fell to deaf ears to Matt. My experience with Kyle law firm was great, the details of my case I cant discuss details. I was facing a year in jail for something I didnt do.... I tried representing myself at first, Steve watched me a few times in front of the judge and he gave me his number.... After that point Steve became my lawyer then he brought Nick on the case.... These two lawyers fought for me every step of the way... Steve, Nick, Sara have always had great communication during the whole time working my case.... They are very laid back, and nice people but pitbulls in the court room.... Because of these 3 Im able to start a new chapter in my life and Im very blessed to have Kyle law firm to stand up and fight for me..... Thanks for everything Steve, Nick, and Sara....

We were referred to the Kyle Law Firm by a close friend after we were hit by a drunk driver last summer. I have been a client of Kyle Law Firm since 2015 due to a criminal case. Steve Harkins has been my main attorney throughout the process. This was my first time in a criminal case and was terrified. He always took the time to explain what is going on with my case and what options I had. He always listened to my concerns and never disregarded them but treated me with respect. He stepped me through testifying and how court runs. Mr. Harkins is very knowledgeable in criminal law and has the insight of a prosecutor which he used to helped me understand that he knows how the State will react to certain proposals. Great service! I had two speed tickets over the course of 2 years, one in Comal County and one in Lulling by Buc-ees. They were minor infractions in speed traps. I wanted to keep my record clean so my goal was to get both dismissed in court. Steve Harkins had an initial phone call with me to establish the facts and hear what my goals were. After that, he ran with it and got both dismissed! Very happy with how professional they were and how I didnt have to worry that they would get taken care of and the paperwork and hearings would all be handled. Great job!

I give three stars because hes not terrible, but hes not good. At least not with complying with what was promised. When I initially met Steve, I explained to him my situation, along with what I wanted, which is complete dismissal. Of course thats what we all want, so he explained to me that my best chances was to get a PTD. A pre-trial diversion can get it expunged from my record and we dont have to go to trial for that. I was willing to settle for that. He gave me a set of instructions to complete before court to increase my chances. He stated since Im a first-time offense along with the fact that Im a good person, my chances were high. Mind you i also paid him in full within 3-4 months of hiring of him. A year-and-a-half passes by, and not much has been exchanged since then. I have been emailing them all the tasks they asked me to complete. I did volunteer hours, I got a few character letters, I started school again, and Ive been stable at my job for over 2 years. There was a few court dates that were reset, but I was not informed. It took me having to email them to confirm if I dont have to go or if I had to miss class to go to court. Finally when the actual court date came that I have to show up, they informed me (not even with a 24 hour notice) that a different lawyer would be there. They sent me an email with a physical description since I had never met the guy. I was not happy about that. I paid Steve in Full within the first 3 months of hiring him to be sent someone else that Ive never met before, was the first red flag for me. To make matters worse, when I finally find who my lawyer is during my court, he doesnt have any of the paperwork that I have been emailing them. I dont understand how someone was going to represent me if they didnt have anything that I had done throughout that year and a half to help my case. If it wasnt for me having extra hard copies on me, he wouldnt have anything of mine. Second red flag. to top things off, when we finally got to step outside and talk, I asked what are the chances of getting ptd. The lawyer laughed and said not very likely. I dont understand how I paid someone in full within 3 months, completed all the tasks they asked me to do, and kept in contact throughout the year and a half to not even be close to what I was told we were going for. This was the last Red Flag I needed. I was very disappointed in how they handled the whole situation. I did receive a letter 2 or 3 weeks after my court date explaining the new lawyer. But thats a little too late for that. Overall just disappointed.... its been almost two years since my arrest and I havent gone in any type of trouble. If anything Ive been trying to do more to help my community. Yet I had to hire another lawyer who works alone and is more confident in getting me what I want. I hope this review helps

Matt and his team are outstanding in every way. He brings a wealth of experience into every case he advocates and his support staff works hard to keep you a part of the whole process. He offered free counseling to my father in law who was helping my grandmother after a bad car accident.
