Horrible experience! Bees everywhere and management and employee on duty both didnt care. I took my daughter for her birthday and she got stung waiting for our drinks. If you clean your patio and empty your trash can once in a while you might actually have a clean facility that people can enjoy. Clearly this location doesnt care about cleanliness or its customers. Will not be back.

Redoing this review. I love Bahama Bucks and they had a off day, after hearing about this the owners contacted me and wanted to make things right. Nobodys perfect and we all have off days. I have been back multiple times since and the service has been great and the treats are always delicious. If you are looking for a great snow cone in Mckinney head here for sure. Tons of flavor and topping options, plus some refreshing drinks as well. Kid-friendliness: Small cup sized and a decent amout of sugar free options.

This is the only Bahama Bucks that serves dry snowcones. There is never enough syrup and when you ask/pay for extra syrup THEY STILL DONT DO IT. I usually drive to Denison to Aloha Shaved Ice to get a snowcone because they always get it right without asking.

This is literally the worst Bahama Bucks I ve ever been to. They gave me two snow cones that were just syrup and zero ice. My pregnant sister took it back to them and they gas lit her and said that s just how it s made. Never going back and do not recommend. So over it. All summer I ve been short-changed on syrup. I started requesting extra syrup - still stingy. Started sending it back for more syrup - met with major attitude and sticky cups. The employees barely have the courtesy to even speak to you to begin with so just add eye-rolls here. Tonight, so little syrup that all I really tasted was salty ice which I waited an ETERNITY for. Plus side is they ve made it very easy for me to quit this habit. Done. Done. Done!

Second time here today and shaved ice is good but my cup was overflowing I asked for cream and there was none. The girl at the window did not even first of all greet me when she opened the window she just handed me the cup. Second did not offer any napkins and third just bad customer service overall. It s 90+ degrees and we are ordering an item that can melt make sure to offer the customers napkins

Food - Ordered 3 shaved ices, one had way too much juice, I did not order extra juice, it was overflowing, very messy and sloppy. The other 2 were fine. Service - NOT friendly at all. We sat at the tables by the walk-up window. We walked to the window to order, worker stood there with window closed looking at me, I had to motion for him to open the window so I could order. No expression on his face, continued to be rude and uninterested. Yes, they were busy, no excuse for rudeness. Atmosphere - Tables were dirty. Very disappointed in the overall experience.

Ordered a small, received a large and had to pay for a large. Workers were giving attitude and arguing with each other and seemed like they were not trained properly and was rushing without listening to take proper order. Also, seating area needs attention. Disappointed! Pull in the drive thru before 9pm with 2 cars ahead. When it s my turn to order - by the way I ve been sitting behind 2 cars I asked for a large snow. No flavor. I am told they are closed. It s 902. There s no way out of drive thru so now I have to sit and watch the 2 cars in front of me be served while I wait just to exit. Tasty sno cones, but inconsistent service. I know hiring is tough, so not giving one star in consideration of that. The sno cones are either too heavy on syrup, or too light, wrong flavors served, sometimes the store is closed when it says online they re open, etc this location is closest to home and we would make it there at least once a week for the kids. We now find ourselves driving to the Allen location or just skipping Buck s for a local mom and pop spot. We will try again in a few months and hope for the best. Will update review, hopefully with more stars!

My company orders from bahama bucks a lot, this store ALWAYS has issues. There have been 2 separate occasions 8+ months apart where we have ordered snowballs and both times they did not have our order and we had to get a refund, ruining an entire elementary school classes day. They also NEVER answer their phone it took 10+ calls to finally get someone and the employees in the back were laughing and yelling and the guy on the phone could not hear me, plus they still did not have our order. We stopped buying from this location because it is just so bad.

Two trips, 2 different days, 2 different outcomes. Yesterdays trip was impressive & Delicious. However todays trip was an absolutely messy situation. Im handed a messy container from a messy hand. We went around 3pm on a weekday. The staff was friendly. We ordered our (3) snow cones, and they were ready immediately. I ordered the sugar-free Tiger s Blood. It had that weird after taste that sugar-free syrups usually do, so I will order a regular one next time. My kids loved theirs (pickle juice and coconut). They were generous with the syrup. Its average, Id say. I ordered a light coconut regular icee with the tropic cream. They took my order fairly quickly. But that could be because not many people were here. I will say, none of the employees wear hair nets in the establishment. A lot of them look bored with nothing to do. Where I work, without a hair net youre not allowed behind the counter. The sizes are alright, except for the baby which isnt quite worth 4 dollars. I also noticed a few of the workers were drinking or eating inside as well. Nobody can really see whats going on unless youre sitting on the patio front. The patio itself is dirty, and they dont seem to care about wiping down tables unless it gets bad enough. I added my own juice to it so I could save money, however they still charged full price. If youre hot, thats the only reason to come here. Ill edit my review once Ive had a shake.

Went on Sunday July 2nd around 7 pm. The drive thru line was a bit long so I decided to get out and order. The drive thru wait time is typically longer. I approahed the window and despite there being several workers just standing around, it took a while for someone to even acknowledge me at the window. The taste of the shaved ice has gone down as well. Im not sure if they have changed the ice. It used to be soft lole snow. This used to be my favorite place to go in McKinney for a sno cone. The snow cones are amazing! Lots of very good flavors. Highly recommend the tigers blood and wedding cake. There is plenty to enjoy in just a baby sized cup! The drive thru can be long but thats a good sign. They get you out quick for how busy they are. The best sno cones around. My personal fav is the warheads with the sour sand and sour spray. Super refreshing on these warmer than usual days. Assuming everyone feels the same for how busy these guys are. The price is right at only 6.50 for my special snow cone with the candy add on. Very cleab and well kept location. Sweet treat jn the mckinney area. Definitely recommend swinging by to that yoself.

This specific location doesnt have the greatest service. It takes a long time to get an order whether there is 3 cars in line or you are the only person in line. Even when they had someone outside taking orders ahead of time, my order still wasnt done by the time I got to the window after waiting 30mins. This place needs an adult supervisor on shift at all times to keep these teenagers on task. Seems unorganized. Probably why service is slow. I have yet to see a person over 18 working here. I ve been going to Bahama Bucks since 2015 (Lewisville location) and this one since 2019, so I know how they should taste. My family and I went Sunday and was SOOO disappointed, we ordered 4 sno and a mango tango and all were not good. The snos was just that, they did not put enough syrup on them so they tasted like nothing but ice. You can see how like the color is, also we got flat tops and it was not even full. Service is slow very slow I mean very slow if you see a line & you have somewhere to be youre going to be late drinks are good so Ill give them a 3 star if they wasnt good Ill rate it a 1 for the slow service

We love Bahama Bucks, after a full day of sports nothing beats some good drinks and shave ice. We went today and i ordered 1 flavor with 3 add-ons. What came to the window was the flavored ice, thats it. An avalanche size at that so I paid $12 for a skeleton of my order. I reminded the gentleman at the window of my the add-ons, he looked irritated and came back with two of the three add-ons. I said thanks and he closed the window. Obviously the add-ons werent mixed throughout like its supposed to be. My favorite drink just turned into a terrible experience. First world problem, sure is, so Im not going back and making them feel bad or cursing them out. But twice in a row my order was messed up and me and the family might need to find another favorite dessert place. Too bad.... *edit Been back since and order was correct. Went again tonight but after the drive through only moved 2 cars in 30 minutes (I had already paid) requested my refund and left. Shame.

Spencer has to be the most petty business owner Mckinney! I come about 3 X weekly with my kids on multiple occasions and the moment I have an issue with them giving me the wrong flavor living across town, they expect me to waste gas and time to go back and forth with workers about bring the product back and we can refund you?!!! Excuse me? Drive 30 minutes for a sno cone that will be water by the time I get back there?!!! This is ridiculous customer service. Dont bother coming to this location. The worst dry unforgiving cup of ice I ever had.

Had a craving for a snow one, second time coming. Last time I had come there were few cars and the wait was awful. This time there s a long line and the wait is the same or even worse. The workers need to speed it up to make their customers happy.

This place is consistently great. The sweets are delicious. Priced well and the staff is always so professional and friendly. I have gone many times and never been disappointed. Even with a long line, the wait is minimal. 100% recommend. Definitely tip those guys.

Went today, a sunday. Got my usual order. The top was WAYY too high. It got all over my clothes, the car, the freezer. They made extra and put it on top. Not intelligent enough to realize it would immediately melt EVERYWHERE. For reference I ordered a medium and received enough to fill a large. I have eaten a LOT already before this photo was taken. If they wanted to give extra away they should have done it in a small cup on the side. A kind gesture from an incompetent employee with little foresight. Thanks. Took half an hour in drive thru line. Not enough syrup in drinks and the middle part was completely white. Second time that s happened.
