After several bad experiences at the McKinney location, I wanted to give it another chance. Well, it let me down again. After waiting around 6 minutes at the hostess stand with no one in sight and the to go bar saying they don t know, we were finally greeted. Every open table was not bussed, so the hostess had to go clean a table. We sat down next to 3 dirty tables and the entire time and no one ever cleaned them. The food was good, however I am not sure they have any management running the place as everything from the service to the cleanliness of that place was in disarray. This is the 3rd time I ve been there over the last year and will probably be my last. Still a big fan of BBW and hopefully this location can get a better management structure.

Really need to give them zero stars. We will never go back. The past few times we ve ordered takeout, everything about our order was wrong. We also waited more than 45 minutes past our pickup time and still did not get what we ordere and food was not fresh. I tried to give them a second and third chance but no more.

Ordered a pick up order to be picked up at 6:10pm. Got there and they said they couldn t find our order. Then they came back and said they found it and that they were starting it (already past pick up time). Finally left with our food at 6:50pm. 40 minutes past pick up time. We got home with the complete wrong order. We didn t get the buffalo wrap we ordered or the cheese curds. We were missing one of the cakes we ordered. Got the wrong burger and an extra burger that wasn t ordered. Also 3-4 additional orders of wings that weren t ordered, and in flavors we don t like. Overall awful experience. Won t be back

Completely disorganized, 15-45 min delays on our last 3 orders, wings were cold and smaller than usual. Absolute disaster of a pickup process, employees walking around looking at their phones, disinterested in taking care of multiple people waiting on orders. Food bags always disgusting smeared with sauce, packaging usually damaged. Not sure if all locations are in such state of decay or not, but this isnt the Buffalo Wild Wings weve been used to in the past. 1/10 would recommend.

Not one single server came to my table. I understand that there was a Alabama game going on and there were larger parties, but after 10 to 15 minutes of waiting my wife and I ordered on the app. Even after our food and drinks were brought, not one single server checked in on us, asked if everything was okay, as for a refill. Which was pretty essential considering that we had hot wings. Im sure it was just an off night but our experience was poor

I recently visited the Buffalo Wild Wings in McKinney on September 2nd, and unfortunately, I had a very disappointing experience. I come to this location at least once a week, but this visit was far from the standard Im used to. Our server appeared to be impaired, likely by a stimulant, as they were erratic and had significant difficulty focusing. I had to repeat each part of my order 4-7 times, and this was with a small party of three! Refills were also very slow, often taking an unusually long time. I notified the manager, but their response was underwhelming. Rather than addressing the issue themselves, they simply told the server about our complaint and had them come to our table to apologize, which only made the situation more awkward. Overall, the service was unacceptable, and the lack of concern from management was disheartening. I hope they take steps to prevent this from happening to other loyal customers like myself.

Decided me and my co worker wanted wings today. So we stopped at this location expecting some good wings. What we got was the complete opposite. The wings came out cold and tasted like they had been sitting for 3 hours. Whoever the cook is needs to reevaluated. The only reason I m giving this place two stars is because our waitress Madison did an amazing job. She was not only handling tables from what seems to be an understaffed issue but also hosting. Keep doing great work Madison ! As for the kitchen. I think some things need to be addressed or this location is gonna plummet.

It s honestly so frustrating to never get what you ordered from this restaurant particularly in terms of the sauces and often the carrots and celery given that this is a wings place. For example tonight I ordered 2 ranch and 2 blue cheese sauces (extra cost) and arbitrarily received 3 southwestern ranch. Improving the quality check on to go orders will go a long way here.

The restaurant was severely understaffed. Only 2 servers scheduled for dinner rush. We waited for 15 minutes before a server could get to us. (Not their fault) understaffed. Then it took almost an hour to get some of our food not all of it. When the rest came out 10 minutes later it was cold. At this point we asked to speak with the manager. When he came over we informed him that the service was unacceptable and that his servers needed more help and better scheduling. At this point the manager (mark) became angry and began yelling at us that he knew how to schedule. He was very rude and never even apologized. This is absolutely the worst experience we have ever had.

BWW has definitely gone downhill. Not just saying that because they got rid of their best item (the fried mushrooms) years ago. We have eaten at this location many times and it s always been ok, not great, and not terrible, until our last trip. We ordered an Appetizer, and then wings for the wife and I, plus a kids meal for my son. Most restaurants send an appetizer before the rest of the meal which allows you to enjoy your appetizer while it s hot, and do the same with your meal when it comes later. We got our appetizer first, by about 10 seconds.. so most of the food ended up lukewarm/cold by the time we were done eating the appetizer. Most of the wings were overcooked to the point where the meat was dry and stringy feeling. Definitely not a good mouth feel. We ordered dry rub lemon pepper wings, which had virtually no seasoning / flavor on them and honestly smelled a little odd. Those were most noticeably overcooked. The other flavor wings we ordered were ok, not as overcooked as the lemon pepper, or at least not as noticeable due to the sauce. The main reason we ever go to BWW is for the Asian Zing sauce but after this visit, I can t imagine spending another dime here. The breading to one of my wings somehow had pieces of bone in it which I bit into, and thankfully I didn t chip a tooth. When I let the waiter know about the bone, he was not really apologetic, and acted vey nonchalantly about it saying it was odd because the wings come pre-breaded (as if food suppliers are immune to mistakes). He said he would let his manager know about it and if we had any other issues to let him know. At no point did the manager come to apologize, discuss the bone or even to see how the meal was. When we got the bill, come to find out we were charged for the sample of new sauce they had offered us. This would not have been problematic had we been made aware of it up front. As a former waiter, honestly I am appalled at the food we were served, and the lack of care/service we received. As a customer spending money, I am incredibly annoyed and will not be back to this location. This was the first bad experience we had at this location, and it will be the last.

I should have read the reviews before dining here Friday, 7/26/2024. Yikes. The new General Manager, Wes, is terrible! Very unprofessional, rude to patrons and staff, you can tell that he thinks very highly of himself and only himself. I overheard him on several occasions tell employees to have a beer/drink at the establishment after their shift. I also over heard him talk about another waitresss attire and how hot she looked. ummm...he is married. thats gross. He is really creepy. If he made my family and I uncomfortable, I can only imagine how uncomfortable the staff is. however our Server, Abby, was great! She was very attentive and helpful.

My husband, myself and 2 sons ate here tonight, what a disappointment. Weve been to this location for lunch several times, never an issue. We ordered mozzarella sticks and curds, they took a while to come out. Both of my boys ordered identical burgers and husband and I ordered 10 wings each. Boys burgers came out after a while but no food for us. One waitress eventually tried to give us someone elses order. Our waitress came over with more drinks and a quick your order should be out soon, no apologies which truly would have helped. Our wings finally came out about 20 minutes after our sons food. To my further disappointment my wings came in all drums, which is not traditional. Total disappointment, we were even late for our movie.

Came in, no one at the host stand so we walk to the bar. 3 guests sitting spread out with no clean seats available in between so the 2 of us could sit (not a good sign seeing as this was another chance I was giving this location) and if this neglect was any indicator of the service i was going to receive then I m not going to waste my lunch break and walked out. Again past the empty host stand, I m not sure what is happening with this location but looking at your abysmal one star reviews I d recommend selling off your franchise so someone else can do better.

Horrible experience. Was there during a non busy time, not during a weekend. They got there before 3 crowds of people, and they still had their meals before ours. Once me and my family were seated we had to wait for about 5-8 minutes to be greeted, few more minutes to ask for our drink order- when we finally did get our drinks waitress didnt give us enough straws, about 20m later my food was given to me- since my kids were hungry and didnt have their food they tried to eat my fries but they were cold, they finally got their order and their food was barely warm, I knew the place was busy so I overlooked it but waitress never checked on us, drinks were empty, when we were finally done we tried to get her attention 2x but no response so when she passed again my sister said loudly if we could get our check (was football draft picks so was loud inside) the waitress then gave a mad face and went to a coworker- the coworker looked straight at my sister... when we did get our check my sister asked if there was an issue bc she noticed the look, waitress said she didnt appreciate my sister yelling at her- which is understandable but we tried multiple times to do it the normal way but we didnt want to wait an hour just for a check, my sister told her we didnt appreciate not being served the entire time... when we finally paid our waitress came by to say just checking on you and proceeded to give a peace sign with a smirk on her face... I had high hopes for this place since I hadnt been there in about 5y, I highly doubt I will come to this location again all because the waitress Nicky, but thank you to the server Madison since she actually helped us out more than our actual server.

My husband placed an order for 20 wings with three different flavors. One of which is my favorite dry rub desert heat. Unfortunately it was nothing like it should ve been. It looked as if they sprinkled the season on the wings and I didn t even get 5 as ordered. We called and spoke with the new manager, Sam. He was very apologetic and refunded the amount paid as well as a gift card. He understood our frustration, especially being this wasn t the first time. Man the customer service and quality of food is hand in hand pretty poor. I went here back to back including Super Bowl Sunday and had basically the same experience, hence my review. Super Bowl Sunday was a special circumstance which I won t dive into but on my return trip Monday lunchtime, I noticed there was only a small crowd of people; possibly 10 tables set out of 25/30. Myself and another gentleman were standing at the front waiting to be addressed for over 5 minutes. Like, where is the hostess?? Granted my order was ready at the time I arrived at the counter but it was supposed to be ready @or around 12:10 according to my online order and I arrived at 12:09 because I like my food hot and ready. Mind you I had to wait the 5 minutes for the hostess, so food never got into my hands until 12:18. What room e for surprise is that once I got to my car and checked m food, fries were already cold and wings looked like they had been setting for hours. No huge biggie I ll just heat it up a little bit when I get home(literally 2 minutes away) but the kicker here is that I asked for a single ranch and they gave 6! Blue cheese. Like why? I ordered a 10-wing combo with fries and ranch. The app gave me the wrong time estimate. Food was already done with no notification. The mix of classic wings had yo be the driest wings Ive ever had. They were overcooked instead of tender/juicy. It was a struggle to eat them even with ranch. The ranch cups were also mostly empty. They eventually found it. I ended up finally receiving my order at 9:33pm after waiting almost an hour past my pickup time. When I got my food, the wings were ice cold and the celery they included with my order was so rotten and expired that it turned into brown goo. One of the bags said 10/17 on it. Four months past the expiration date! The amount of incompetence, laziness, and lack of management for something like this to be served to a paying customer amazes me. The health inspectors need to be called on this place before they kill someone. Do not eat here!

Had an absolutely stellar experience at Buffalo Wild Wings in McKinney, especially due to the exceptional service provided by our server, Natalie. We were seated in the bar area on a Thursday around 6:30 PM, which seemed like a bustling time for them. Despite the crowd, Natalie stood out with her friendly demeanor and exceptional service. She truly went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed, making our dining experience memorable. Her attentiveness and professionalism greatly enhanced our visit, and I highly recommend requesting Natalie as your server if you find yourself at this location. I wish I could give zero stars for this BWW location. The manager Garrett Kleis has zero customer service skills and doesnt care if the order was improperly handled. I ordered boneless wings, tater tots with salt and vinegar, veggies with ranch and extra ranch through a delivery service. The package had not been opened. The tater tots were plain, I didnt get the veggies and did not receive any ranch. He offered no refund or even a credit and wouldnt even talk directly to me. He only relayed a message through his employee that I would have to contact the delivery service. I have been to many BWW and have had amazing service, even when an order gets messed up now and then. This BWW will never receive my business again and I will make sure I spread the word of the managers lack of care, even when the employee that answered the phone admitted fault in forgetting to complete the order.

Me and my friend visited this location and we had a terrible experience. After we sat down, the waiter didn t come till 30 min later to just give us menus. We also didn t get our drinks till 20 minutes after that. We even tried talking to the manager and he said he would take our order and bring our drinks but he never did. And when our food eventually did come out it was terrible. Our nachos were drenched in sour cream and i m not exaggerating. We had to scrap most of it off. Our wings were also really chewy and barely had any sauce on them. Terrible experience!

They gave us wings that looked like someone already ate out of them, forgot our whole other 15 wing order when it said buy one get one 50% off online, then when we tried to get help on remaking the first batch of wings that looked like someone ate out of them the whole staff ignored us & walked right by to sit other people then sat at the bar ignoring us again just to talk to the other staff. Also the girl working there lied and said she was a manager. We had to find the REAL manager ourselves who was completely unaware of the whole situation. Absolutely horrible service. Ive given this place chance after chance. I just can t anymore after yesterday. Orders are always wrong. Service at the bar takes forever. It s clear why this company is having issue a cross the board. No more. Update 10/16/23: decided to try and give this place another chance. That was a mistake sat in the bar for 20 mins, and not even a hello walked up to the to go order counter and tried to place an order and couldn t. The manager finally walked over and treated me like I was stupid for trying to place an order. At that moment it became clear why the location is so terrible. Management this page will fail if corporate doesn t solve this issue.

Sunday, September 10th, around 4pm I believe my mom and I decided to come here to pickup an online order that I had placed. I didn t think it would be such a hassle because I ve actually placed a separate order prior to this trip just maybe a week ago (some lady actually parked so close to my car that day that she had her door resting on the side of it and her excuse for that was that she didn t slam it so having her door resting on the side of my car should be ok. Wildly entitled but that s people of McKinney for you I guess.) On this Sunday however once I get to the place I call the number and tell them I have a pick up order for my name. They tell me they don t have a pickup order under my name. I told them what my order was and they said they couldn t find it and to come in with the receipt. Strange, but I complied because I was extremely hungry and in a rush to get back home to salvage the rest of my weekend before work and I also didn t want my car to be hit by some overly entitled mother of McKinney. I come inside and they re about 2-3 girls standing there, mind you a lot of them looked underaged, and they ask to see my receipt. No problem, I comply, I m thinking mistakes happen I guess. Sure I was alittle ticked off by it and inconvenienced but I m thinking maybe it was just a human error or maybe they were too busy. So they take a look at my receipt, they apologize, and they inform me that my order will be ready soon. So they seat us in the waiting room, which is enjoyably close to the restrooms so that was fun making eye contact with several husky men before they go to the restroom right before I m supposed to eat- love that. We sat there for what felt like eternity. Maybe 30 minutes at most. Sure, my mom did order something too but like 6 wings and some fries how bad can you mess that up right. Well finally the underaged girl brings my food out but not before demanding the money for the food. That s right people- demanding the money for the food. After I had already successfully made my order in the app. This seems to be a trend here charging twice because the order I made a week ago said it didn t go through the first time in the app, but I submitted it the second time because I had the funds to submit the order the first time, and it goes through. What kind of messed up app does this place run where the restaurant doesn t get the order or the app cannot process a single simple payment? And then the customer gets blamed for the inaccuracy and the problem. My mom told the girl how we wanted a manager yet I REFUSE to sit here and panhandle for my rightly deserved order that had been placed the right way on the app for 6 measly frozen made wings. I just refuse to do that. The fact that nobody raised these questions to me whenever I showed them my receipt the first time is appalling. You made me wait, waste time, sit there for no reason, had to endure the bathroom situation as well, to then have the audacity to tell me that I m still going to have to pay for the order because the restaurant never got the notification and if they find it days later after researching how they would refund me. After I m already waiting for the wrongful second pending charge for my order that I placed a week ago to fall off. What kind of incompetent childish business practice is this? Have some common sense. Why wasn t my photo of my online order good enough for you? Do you think someone has the time to photoshop a whole photo of a receipt for frozen wings? You guys are crazy and have the worst customers in the parking lot as well. I won t ever be supporting another Buffalo Wild Wings chain ever again. This location used to be great, but over the last year or so the service has been terrible. We joke when we go about how long it will take to get our food. We went on Friday around 6:30. We were seated right away but the girl seating people also seated 4 other tables in the same section. I felt bad for the waitress. All of the tables waited almost 20 minutes just to get their drinks. One guy literally raised his hand and it still took 5 minutes for somebody to take his order. Lots of servers walked by and never even offered to help out the girl in our section. The girl that seated us was standing around chatting, at the bare minimum she could have helped with drink orders. We were there probably an hour and a half, never even saw a manager walk by. Somebody should have been supervising or at least offering to step in and help. The whole thing was ridiculous.

The only reason they got a one star is because I had to leave one. Drove 30 min to pick up my online order and it was not in the system. They place the order and they placed it wrong. We ordered $70 worth of food and they gave me 1 cup of blue cheese. I had to ask them for more as if I was being greedy. When the guy brought my food he asked are you good and I said no. I did a mobile order a few weeks ago. I show up at my designated time and walk-in to 4 other people awaiting picks ups as well. The blonde girl who was working the to-go counter told me it would be another 30 minutes because the kitchen was behind. While standing there waiting, I witnessed the same blonde girl also serving as the greeter as well. Every single party that entered she would encourage to go to the bar for open seating or wait for a table (with almost the entire dining room being empty). After watching the kitchen bring food up to the front and those people awaiting to-go orders ahead of me leave, I asked once again about my food. It turns out it was up-front the ENTIRE TIME - the initial blonde girl was too lazy to even open the warmer to check. A different gentleman discovered it and yelled at her for making me wait for nothing. Flash forward to tonight, I walked in to eat inside and the same blonde girl was the greeter. She once again used the same line about going to the bar for open seating or waiting 45 minutes for a table. I will say, tonight was MUCH busier inside than my previous visit but I could still see at least 6 empty tables just from the host stand itself. I m writing this review from inside Hooters where we were immediately seated and served. BWW you seriously need training for your front-end.

We went to this location a few months ago. Our server dropped off food for my husband and me and then went MIA. We finished eating our food before our daughters food finally came out cold it was about 30 minutes after we got ours. We heard another server say that our server was helping out in the kitchen. He never came out again and no one apologized for the delay. We went again tonight thinking that was a one time thing and it couldnt possibly happen again but it did. This time my daughters and my food came out and my husbands food came out 20 min later. At least this time the server was attentive and apologized but this location has serious issues in the kitchen. Not only that she is a bartender and should be thankful for people ordering drinks but instead she trashed everyone s drink choice including my own.
