Pretty disappointed tonight. We ordered the shrimp and grits. The entree portions were more like a large side at best. For the love of God please stop putting tail-on shrimp in dishes. Especially if the dish is saucy. If I pay for a meal, I dont want to have to do the prep cooks job. Peel the damn shrimp please! Now, after peeling the shrimp my hands are covered in sauce and smell like I had met the wrong woman in Tijuana. I need a shower.

This was my first time eating at Razzoos. I had the fried shrimp basket with french fries and corn on the cob. We also had the crab cakes as an appetizer. Everything was seasoned perfectly. My only complaint would be that the fries were barely warm and a bit soggy. Overall, the food was amazing and service was great. We will definitely be repeat customers.

You would think this place would be a bit run down or older because the larger dinner chain restaurants all are at this point but I was pleasantly surprised to see that it s very clean, well managed, the service is awesome, and the food priced great and delicious! Plenty of hot sauce options to adjust any dish, as needed. Had the spicy Rat Toes, little spicier than I expected, but could not stop eating them. Crab cakes were also delicious with a decent percent of crab. A great selection of beers and mixed drinks with a festive Cajun spin. The shareable sized drinks are a fun addition to your adventure. Unfortunately I had a bad experience my first time. $20 for 12 oysters in my opinion is not over priced. If they are high quality fresh oysters. However I never in my 38 years of life have I had black, burnt oysters that were shrunken so much they were hard to chew and rubbery. The sand and bits of shell was off putting. And I just couldn t get over the clear lack of give a damn by the kitchen. I informed the waitress and she began to educate me on how oysters shrink when you cook them. I cut her off and disagreed as I ve been eating oysters my whole life and never seen this. Basically don t expect to get good oysters. I believe they were small oysters that were places in bigger shells. I didn t see any connective tissue on the shell. Very strange.

This restaurant reminds me of a Cajun version of Applebees. The food was edible, the atmosphere was tolerable. There was nothing over the top. This restaurant bar food was bar food. I tried the rat toes (jalapeños stuffed with some kind of seafood stuffing) which were good in the beginning. And after the third one, you just get tired of eating it. My friend had pasta and she said it was pretty good. I love their happy hour drink specials. They had five dollars tequila drinks on national tequila day which was the draw to go into this restaurant. I would recommend getting the rice and beans as a sidedish. That was delicious and spicy.

I love the food here. Their Gumbo is great and their Red Beans and Rice is awesome. The staff are very friendly and they will even come chat with you sometimes. They are very flexible on substituting items and the food also comes out surprisingly fast. Parking: Its in a strip-mall location so there is an abundance of parking. Kid-friendliness: There are good kid menu options. There is another dining area on the opposite side of the restaurant if you want to keep your kids out of view of the bar and out of the bar atmosphere.

My wife just had a procedure done, and was wanting a good meal after fasting. We decided to try Razoos, as we have always heard how good it was. The food was decent, not what we expected. Decent food, we can deal with, but our server was absolutely terrible. She came and took our drink and appetizer order, brought our drinks and disappeared to the bar. Someone else brought our appetizers, and we had almost finished with that before she finally came to get our order. Back to the bar she went and again our food was brought by someone else. She never came and checked on us again. She was too concerned with the older gentlemen at the bar. We were the only table. We finally stood up to leave and she brought our ticket. We ll try Razoos again, but never this location.

We ( Husband & I ) discovered that we enjoy good Cajun food a few years back. And so , we were delighted to explore this restaurant on the way back home after spending a few hours at the outlet mall in Allen. Upon entering the restaurant, we were immediately greeted at the door with a smile and shown to our seats. The atmosphere is very warm and cozy , which makes you excited to try the food. We went with the Canal Street Combo for the appetizer. Its a platter of sorts with 3 types of appetizers, including fried pickle chips , boudin balls, and jalapeño cheese poppers and a side of buttermilk sauce (or ranch , I guess ? ) for dipping. This was so so so good. For the main course , we went with Grilled Alligator & Redfish Bienville. The food was just absolutely out of the world. The dishes were so vibrant and full of flavor. It was literally a party in our mouths. To end this delicious meal , we went with the Key Lime Pie ( or was it cheesecake ). Either way , it was fabulous. A special mention to our server, I cant remember her name right now, but it was an almost busy Saturday dinner rush, and she was so sweet and cordial. She checked on us to make sure the food was good and we were comfortable. Exceptional customer service from the start till the end. I highly recommend this restaurant, especially at this location. We will be back for sure !!!

I dined in last night and enjoyed the BOGO lbs of crawfish and the shrimp poboy. I loved the regular soaked crawfish. Whoever boiled them did their thing. The shrimp poboy was delicious. The poboy bread wasn t the French bread that s typically used back home in Louisiana but it was enjoyable. The only thing that I would recommend is to allow the cook the soak the potatoes and corn with the crawfish. Other than that I have no complaints. I ll definitely come back. I went with my daughter, my granddaughter and my son in-law. Our waiter was very helpful . My daughter and I got the stuffed shrimp and you get a choice of (2) sides, we got the seasoned green beans and mashed potatoes. Your dinner comes in your own cast iron skillet. It keeps your food hot till the end. The stuffed shrimp was out of this world. They put the shrimp over cajun rice and then put this wonderful creamy cajun sauce over all of it. It was the best thing Ive eaten in a long time. My granddaughter got catfish and shrimp, she loved it and said this was her new favorite place to go to. My son-in-law got a skillet full of crawfish ettofe, sausage w/cajun rice and a few more cajun foods that filled his skillet. We all were so stuffed and so happy with our choices. It was all AWSOME !!!!! If you like Cajun cooking, youll love it here. The restaurant decor makes you feel like your in Louisiana and then when you get your food, you really feel like your there. The food here is always so great. But the service tonight was just not ideal. I m in the service industry myself and just felt very awkward and uncomfortable with the way our waiter was with us tonight. I got ID d and confirmed my birthdate but then also got asked my star sign to validate that my birthdate was actually legit and I knew what it was. That was ridiculous. Brent also came and made his way to the receipts while we were still sitting and chatting. There are a few other things that happened that just turned me away from leaving a good service review.

Went to celebrate the bestie s birthday, but our server, Erin, was completely disengaged with us. She took our drink and food order, then never returned to the table to check on us, never asked if everything was ok once the food was delivered to the table (which it was not totally accurate). Interestingly, Erin was totally complimentary and engaged with the white couple who sat at the table beside us. She checked in with their table 4 separate times while we sat at ours, and provided life details to them about her prior surgeries (knee, and ovary removal), her upcoming medical appointment this Friday, and shared a funny of her husband, Once the couple left, she then came to our table where we mentioned that she forgot us and never checked on us. Her reply was well, I tried . How? When? Her treatment of us took me back many years in history. To say I m appalled and disappointed in her level of service is an understatement. Her tip was $ 0.00. Hopefully, she won t treat other customers the way she treated us this evening.

They cam e me 3 lil crayfish and a table spoon of sauce in a bullet. Like the lil round dipping bowl size in pics above. Yes they did. She grabbed and saod no way Im going fix this amd I asked if they can change it to white rice. Got the same lil white rice back tho as she saod I think they supossed to serve that in a bowl size. Yep .. I didnt touch anything and took pics. Like 16 fries on this order.fried crayfish was a good abundance but they barely put any etouffe in the bowl amd gave me the same brown rice back but in a slightly bigger yet small tiny white idk dipping sauce bowl type? Boudin balls were good. There bread budding is alwasy very good yet this time, I got some type of very stinky strong thick black jelly like substance for my rum sause. It was disgusting. Like aweful awful. Idk if it was burnt or what but it was the worse taste I eve tasted. Im so done with this location. 39 bucks for my meal amd 25 for 2 drinks amd I got some balls and fired crayfish and useless bread pudding. Ive even inside and never had problems so maybe they just trying save cowt on take out idk..

Razzoos used to be one of my favorite places to frequent until my sons money from his birthday card came up missing. He chose Razzoos to celebrate his 13th birthday. We invited a party of 13 and we had a great time. When we left my son accidentally left the card at the table. When we made it to the parking lot my son realized he left the card and went back in to get the card. The staff told him it was not there. He was heartbroken because he was excited to receive the money on his birthday only to have it stolen. What a great way to end such a festive event. It was very disheartening to say the least. Needless to say, that will be our last visit.

I went to your restaurant on 4/21. I was advised of the wrong price and portion size. I was told to add fried catfish to my salad it was 7.99 for 2 the waiter brought me one and advised me the chef decide not to split it in half so I only received 1. Then the tab came and the price was not 7.99 but 9.00. They corrected that only because I asked about it. The fried catfish was so greasy by the time I ate half of it, it was falling apart. Worst catfish at a seafood restaurant. I will not be returning.

Excellent. Fried catfish dinner and a draft. Fresh, tasty. Good service, sweet server/ bartender, Alicia. I was tired and asked for a booth away from front street. I m tucked away in the corner, but she didn t forget about me. She s an asset to the location and it seemed the whole team worked well together. They were jovial and friendly among themselves and the customers. Helped one another. It s a Sunday night, but their energy is fresh as if it s the start of a Saturday evening.

I walked in was seated by hostess she was great. I almost left tho because my feelings were hurt because I was here for 14 minutes and no one noticed me.. We came in for Easter & had the most amazing experience. My 9 year old daughter was excited to try gator for the first time & Erin went above/beyond to make sure she enjoyed not only gator but the environment of Razzoo s. The food was phenomenal - I highly recommend the gator bites & crab cakes - but Erin made a fan for life & we can t wait to come back soon.

Ive been to this location a couple of times and today, March 30th, 2024 was the worst experience by far. So as a party of 1 I requested to sit in the bar area.. The hostess was pleasant and sat me very quickly. I was at a high top but moments later opted for a space at the bar seeing that the area was quite empty. Ill admit i was finishing a call as the waitress / bartender and others passed me several times with little to no acknowledgement. So i waited and chatted and still anothing. My initial thought was this will definitely impact her tip but the longer i waited and watched the staff carelessly gather and congregate the more frustrated i became. Several times i looked up and made direct eye contact with anyone and everyone who even had the decency to look my way but still nothing. Finally I leave my seat and approach a waitress who identified herself as a Manager until a gentleman approached and informed me he was the actual manager. I explained to him my dissatisfaction and disappointment and he was sincerely apologetic however Im very picky about where I spend my money and who I choose to patronize. I will Not be back to this particular establishment. Phone or No phone acknowledging a customer shouldnt be that hard.
