Horrible service an automatic 20% charge when 6 even if people dont eat. Even if its a toddler the 6 because he occupies a spot. So they charge for using a chair. Service horrible food average

I eat here many times and I like the food a lot. Today they disappointed me and I will not return. We ordered 2 orders of tacos and two of cakes. Mine was with medium golden casing and they brought it to me and they looked like super golden duritos! The childrens cakes were all meat and cheese. They brought them with beans, we returned them. When they bring them back I see them to see if they are okay. Well, the cook, since it took him 15 minutes to give us the cakes, once again only ripped off the parts of the bread that had beans. Add to this that they didnt make cheese this second time either. The bread was falling apart from so much that was torn from it. The waitress was very well behaved and this was not her fault. We let them know and I hope they fix that. They wouldnt care but I wont be coming back. It was one of the worst things Ive ever had in a restaurant.

This was my first visit so I d love to go back and try other food as locals highly recommended this place. From the outside this looks like a restaurant but it s actually a patio with food truck in back. So it feels like you re sitting outside. The birria tacos were good and waitress super friendly. I hate to mention this, but what ruined my dinner were the flies. Maybe it s not always this bad, but I was constantly fighting them off to eat. I felt rushed as I wanted to eat fast before they landed on food. They did have twirling fans on table to help keep them away but it only helped a little. I don t blame them as you re sitting outside, but it s something to consider. Plus at this time, 7/6, it was 103 degrees so it was hot. But it appears lots of locals like this place so I d give it a try.

If you do not mind dining without AC this place is the spot. Service is great. Food is amazing. Birria, tacos, and sincronizada are my go toes. Wish they had that creamy green salsa every other taqueria has, but the ones they have will do. This place is worthy of weekly visits.

My 2nd time here and absolutely love their food... We had La Patrona plate... Tacos El Sancho... The Mexican Burger...and 2 hot dogs to fill the little void according to my boys... The food was awesome. The service was outstanding, starting with everyone welcoming us. The charro beans tasted truly authentic. The guacamole was freshly made plus the chips. All the taco orders were wonderful, super tasty. They dont skimp on the meats. Will definitely be back. Highly recommend. So proud of the owner & his success. It s and okay place but the taste is not that good to be charging so much, they even charge for my to go box and $3 if you want meat on your sincronizada I thought it came included, they charge $1.89 for extra limes, mind you my tacos only came with 1/4 of a lime, I rate it 2 stars because it was a clean place but would not be coming back

Overall good The tripe is very hard, they dont know how to cook it I dont like that they want to charge more, its abuse of people 2.25 extra for each piece of tripe The order comes out at around 20 dlls And then they say its a mistake, sorry.

Welcoming staff immediately sat us down and handed us menus. Frijoles charrros were brought, and they very flavorful. I ordered the tacos matamoros which didnt take very long to come out and were delicious. I came with my wife and 2 other people and we all enjoyed our food. Good music and it wasnt too loud. Definitely recommend this place. Good prices as well.

Ive never been anywhere where a combo of birria is different from an order of birria!!! & I received the stupidest explanation for it. Dont order combo of birria if u want birria tacos. U will be surprised with the food u get & the explanation for it!! Bunch of ......I like to support small businesses but not if I have to give them $40 of my hard earned money for very unsatisfactory meals & useless explanation that I received after questioning order.

My family and I heard great things about this place, so we ordered a botana for delivery. The botana arrived after a long wait. Emmidiately after serving ourselves and eating a decent amount, we noticed the food smelled funny and tasted a bit sour. We realized he food we ordered, which was not cheap, was rancid. My niece and nephew both vomited and I and a few of my family members have been going to the bathroom for the past few hours. I dont know if the food is good in person, but dont order delivery, they might give you old meat and cheese. Definitely never eating here again, not only was it okay, but the food gave me and my family the runs.

Every time I crave tacos El Sancho is the place to go! The food is fresh and flavorful, meat is juicy and the charro beans are some of the best i ve had, even the salsa is flavorful! Not only that they have amazing customer service, waitresses always checking up on you and the owner is always there to make sure everything is going smoothly. I 100% recommend it.

This was a great dinner! The tortillas kept their crunch all the way to the end! The hot sauce was hot but great tasting. The meat, bisteak had a distinct and unique flavor; daughter didn t like it as much but I like it, trying to guess the spices used. The charro beans were very flavorful. Nastiest food I ve had. The chips were soggy, and had what appears to be mold. the torta taste like oil only and it was falling apart. The charro bean tasted like regular beans, the meat had no flavor . I honestly think all the good reviews here are from their friends and family. I ate tonight and I woke up sick. I have had birria from all over the valley up to Houston. No-one comes anywhere near this place. Absolutely the most flavorful sauce for dipping. Hands down. I will continue to be a loyal customer. This is our friday night outing almost every week. Torta is really soft and delicious too!! Tacos are on point.

The portions were more than generous with 6 tacos and a side of beans coming to $8.75, ant the service was fast and friendly. I went for an old favorite of mine, AL pastor, and wasnt disappointed in the least. Seriously, these are the best tacos Ive ever had. From the first bite to the last the balance of spice, salt, sweet, and savory, not to mention the freshness of the ingredients is everything you hope for in a great taco. I honestly dont see how a taco could be any better. If youre looking for truly great food, give them a shot. You wont be disappointed.

I went there 2 different times, the first time they gave me a order that the customer before me didnt ask for queso Ranchero but mozzarella cheese and the waiter hand them to me. (How I found out was that the waiter said they made it wrong but they are what your order was) I know they werent bitten cuz we were right next to that other customer. I just didnt see if they opened it to see or they just saw the cheese and complained lol

We are new in Edinburg and we always go out to eat after a photo booth gig. We always try to go to a new place everytime. We drive by this little place and decided to stop.
