It is our first time here and everything is excellent, we really liked the softness and flavor of roast chicken plus two glasses, one of beans and another of rice they are excellent for three people accompanied by tortillas and the great ease of selecting the sauces that are on the bar are excellent to accompany our delicious chicken. The climate for eating inside the facilities is perfect, neither cold nor hot. In addition, we enjoyed our food because it was kept at a temperature so we could eat it, not like other restaurants that are too cold, your food gets cold very quickly and you dont eat comfortably. Thanks to Pollo Palenque Mission, we leave happy and the investment was worth it. We wont see very soon if God allows. EXCELLENT FLAVOR .

According to what they sell you 10 pieces of leg and thigh for $17 plus taxes, I know they are going to say what I want for that amount But its not worth it that they deceive by saying that leg and thigh and from the thigh they take 2 pieces, the thigh split in half, they give you 5 pieces of pure bone and 10 legs that look like quail, its better not to put up their promotions and dont deceive me in that way, it would be better if I I bought the whole chicken I bought 2 promotions. We always go to Taco Palenque and I had never been to Pollo Palenque, very bad experience!!

I never give bad feed back and i go there a lot but not gonna joke i have been asking for flour tortillas and the past 5 times they give me something else and then make have to get down my car because they asked me to move from the window next time will make sure not to move so they can make sure they give me everything correct it seems like they do it on purpose now since literally has been the 5th time in a row same employee in less than 2 week it is really upsetting having to go thru drive thru then having to go find a parking space to go get what i order.

We have never dined in, always drive thru. Their drive thru guys are always super friendly and polite. Maybe one a bit deaf as I asked no caldo on my charro beans and they didn t listen. BUT the chicken is the BEST grilled chicken I have had. I m not much of a grilled chicken eater but this is the exception. Every time we get the family packs is to share with guests we have at home and they all have loved it. The rice is also one-of-a-kind, super good.

Well the food was good but it was very difficult to eat it while it felt like a sauna inside. Is the AC broken or something? And I had to clean my own table while the employee just watched me; a lot of tables were dirty and I did not want to sit next to the window that felt really hot. The food came out at different times also and the guys were just chilling on their phones behind the counter while all the tables were still dirty. Usually like this place but today (07/10/23) they were slacking.

My greatest appreciation to the management and upper management team of this establishment, my wife and I had a minor issue with the cashier and a member of the kitchen staff, regarding an order we wanted that varied a slight bit from the original menu item that resulted in us leaving the restaurant without placing any order at all. I contacted the the main office and within minutes we received phone calls from both the District manager and general manager who were both super professional and genuinely concerned about our experience within their restaurant and went above and beyond to make it right ,WOW! you dont see customer service like this nowadays. Turns out it was a simple misunderstanding due to a training issue with their employees that was corrected right away, we look forward to revisiting this establishment in the future. Thank you, Carlos and Cruz you are truly awesome representatives of the Palenque organization.

Well, first of all we were in line at the drive thru waiting for our turn when a woman came and got into the line in front of us just because she wanted to. Then we decided to just go inside and order our food in there. When we got there we waited for about 10 minutes for them to take our order. Then after they finally came to us to take our order we said we wanted one pollo and he interrupted my mom by leaving to check something, when the men that was taking our order came back saying we don t have any pollos left because someone ordered 25 pollos so we don t have any left and I mean ok I get that person ordered 25 pollos but like it s a kind of special order so why couldn t the person ordering 25 pollos wait? Plus it s call pollo Palenque because they do pollo why would they not have any left when they could obviously do more.

WORST SERVICE EVER. I went through the drive thru after I got out of work because its on my way home and as I was ordering my food everything seemed to be fine. It was until I went to the window that the lady seemed to have a problem with me. I was on the phone and ended the call so I could pay and give her my attention. When I handed over my card the lady seemed to take my card from my hand and roll her eyes at me. I didnt say anything because I thought she may be having a bad day. Then I get my food from a different lady who seemed to also have a problem with me she hands me my bag and as I am reaching for my bag of food I ask if there was chips in the bag she ignored me and didnt say anything so I check inside the bag and say ok thank you. I was still ignored and had the door slammed in my face and saw the lady walk off. I AM NEVER ONE TO COMPLAIN BUT THIS ISNT THE FIRST TIME AT THAT LOCATION WHERE I HAVE RECEIVED BAD SERVICE THIS IS JUST THE FIRST TIME IM SAYING SOMETHING ABOUT IT. I wanted to buy lunch for my friends so I went by Pollo Palenque on the expressway and Taylor Rd. In Mission. I ordered from the drive thru, I wanted breast meat and Leg meat, rice and beans, corn and flour tortillas, and salsa. I repeated the order, but this time I said white and dark meat. When I got home I opened it up and it was all thigh and drums. I immediately bagged up the chicken and headed back to the restaurant. I saw the manager when I walked in and asked him if he was indeed the manager. He said yes, so I explained the situation and showed him my receipt. . His response was the price I paid was for the leg meat combo. I rebuttaled thats not what I ordered, and that I had specifically stated I wanted both white and dark meat. He then referred to the menu that was stapled to the bag and showed me what was given to me. He never got my point, that I wasnt concerned about the price as much as I was about getting what I wanted. He ended up giving me three pieces of chicken breast, but I had to wait another 10 minutes to get it. The chicken breast turned out to be a bit dry, and the rice overcooked. The beans were Ok, the salsa and tortillas were really good. Also, the breast were a decent size, but the thigh meat ( cut in half as two pieces) and the drums were really small. The thigh meat is super thin as it is then cut in half. Overall I wasnt to impressed.
