Everything was good except for one man, sitting at computer, not acknowledging me when i was asking him a question. Asked several times, finally had to say the oud excuse me! When employees asked him questions or just spoke to him, they got the same reaction. If you dont want to work, go home. N i was the only customer!

I went to Holiday Wine and Liquor located at 1912 N. 10th St.. There are other locations throughout the RGV, including South Padre Island. H.W.L is definitely the place to go for all your celebration or Holiday gatherings. They have an impressive name brand wine selection, as well as, a nice variety of sparkling wines, to include Magnum sizes. If you are into Italian aperitifs they have a selection for you. This store I noticed features a Cigar room with a wide selection to choose from. I also noticed all the different types of mini shooters on the shelves behind the register and on the counter.

The business has a lot of variety of products. The building is small, but better to go in and out with your desired drinks. I prefer a small and quick in and out than other stores that are so big you waste more time looking at randoms bottles than the one you already have in mind of purchasing. But overall a quick pit stop before the party could save you alot of time

I wanted to buy a bottle of Jefferson s Aged at Sea, and their computer system said that they had two bottles. The sales person had to call their manager first, who basically told them that they couldn t sell me a bottle. Not sure what s going on here, but not very customer friendly.

Wine, beer and liquor selections are SOLID. Prices are extremely competitive on the wine side. Lots of stuff is here that is hard to get in Fort Worth, probably because those in the RGV just dont know what theyre missing out on! We make it a point to stop here every time we visit the Valley. If this place was in my backyard, my paycheck would be in trouble!

I drove past another store to go to this one regrettably, the woman behind the counter was on her cell phone and completly ignored me I asked a man sitting at a computer for help he helped girl still on phone .Finally found what i needed girl did ring me up but while on her phone .I will not go back because apparently phone calls are more important than paying customers Not impressed at all .

Friendly customer service and they really do try to help you. I went just looking for a new beer to try and one of the employees helped me and showed me the new beers they got in. I walked into the McAllen Holiday Wine & Liquor location not really knowing what I wanted. After a few indecisive seconds staring at the beer freezer a friendly store employee asked me a couple of questions and recommended I try an IPA beer. I took the recommendation and couldnt be more pleased. Definitely would visit again.

Just recently I was searching for keg services for a party. After searching Mcallen through various liquor stores, I found that Holiday whine and liquor was the only place that could provide me with the friendliest service and the perfect beverage for my party. At Holiday I felt as if the staff was completely knowledgeable and totally understanding of what I was looking for and they did not make me feel dumb for not knowing what I wanted from the minute I walked in. They made me feel comfortable enough to ask questions, and to those questions, they had the right answers. If youre in search of a store that has a friendly, knowledgeable staff that can get you what you need for your next event or family gathering, I would most definitely recommend Holiday Wine and Liquor.

I recently used their bar tending and event services for a party and they were fantastic! We wanted beer, liquor, and frozen margaritas and they were able to provide everything. They even recommended a certain amount of what we needed for the party, and all the bottles we didnt we were able to return. The bartenders were friendly and made a good drink as well! Extremely convenient to use these services when hosting a party!
