I was in search of steampunk items and found a wonderful clock for my collection. Theyve also got hats and clothing of the steampunk persuasion. And the owner Mark was a very interesting person that I enjoyed chatting with about our abroad travels that we had in common. Cant wait to go back and see him again.

The owner is very friendly and knows his pirate and local history. Very enjoyable to listen to. His shop is fun for pirates of all ages. If you re just starting your new wardrobe or growing your existing, it s definitely worth stopping in here. I m growing mine so I wanted a new piece. They also have some great books, weapons, home wears, and just some other great fun stuff you never knew you needed. And it s right on the strand. So grab a new mug, and leather mug holster, then head by your favorite watering hole for some grog and enjoy another gorgeous day (as a pirate) on The Strand. Also yarg!

Such an interesting store!! They have unique items from this period imported from a company that specially makes them in Spain like authentic replicas of Spanish galleons and handheld weapons. Spy glasses and compasses that work! And of course pirate hats in many styles including a surprising steam punk. Beautiful costumes, decor, and every gift imaginable for the pirate loving people in your life, even kids. The owners were jolly buccaneers in full costume. 5 stars for FUN.

If you like pirate garb, weapons, cups, chalices, and other items, this is your store. The guy behind the counter was incredibly friendly, talkative, and welcoming. They had The Wellerman playing when we walked in, so I was instantly caught up in singing sea shanties when I walked in. Do not miss this place if youre on the strand!

Went down the strand during a beach trip to Galveston. The shop keeper was in full character. My kids loved it, especially the big one (my husband), lol.
