First, we waited for an hour over the pick up time we were given, because they gave us the wrong order. And then we came home and BOTH our desserts were missing the sorbets. This place is amazing! I ordered empanadas for appetizer and after exploring all day no snacks these hit the spot! I could bathe in that sauce lol. Bro ordered pollero and I ordered arroz chaufa. Our waiter a tall slim young man was very kind in explaining menu after we said it was our 1st time. After 2 beers total was under $7] which I thought was fair as place is fancy! I wish I was more dressed up but as ai said we were explorin area so oh well. Parking is a bit limted but we parked across street and hostess said it was fine. I live far but if I ever return ai would only choose here! Dont be afraid to try it! Oh as it was Saturday night we made a reservation online so we didnt have to wait so do that.

This restaurant is one I tend to go with friends a lot. It is our go to restaurant for whenever we want to have a conversation in a nice place with good food. The Arroz Chaufa is always amazing and the experience of having an Arroz Chaufa while drinking an Inca Kola never disappoints. Their Wistupiku Empanadas are good too, and their ceviche is one of the best I ve tasted. The servers are also nice people, and the place itself is pretty. Definitely would recommend!

There is now absolutely no other reason that my husband and I come here other than for Camille and Jaime at the bar top! We have had dinner here a few times and always enjoyed it, so we ve come back every now and then, BUT now that we ve met Camille and Jaime, I feel like we ll definitely become regulars. Their ability to nail every single food and drink recommendation impresses us every time! I have not been let down a single time, so I can comfortably say their entire food and drink menu is mouthwatering. (I highly recommend their Passion Fruit Tamarindo drink, tastes exactly like the Mexican Rellerindo candy, perfection.) Furthermore, we can t forget to mention their ability to swiftly jump into action when tackling a million drink orders all while still maintaining impecable customer service. Just seeing how they do it all while making it seem so effortless makes me realize that their service skills are some of the best I ve witnessed in the valley. We definitely like to eat out on the weekends so we ve had many experiences in the RGV, but their lively attitudes make our experience at Mikhuna an enjoyable one EVERY. SINGLE. time. Do NOT miss one of the most fabulous restaurants I ve been to anywhere. I m not a gusher, and I work in the industry so I definitely have a more critical perspective. At Mikhuna, the service is perfect (thanks Salvatore), the food is perfect. The atmosphere is perfect. We ve had several dishes here, but the Squid Ink Paella, Apollo de Oliva, Rib Eye and Octopus entree are standouts. We come to Mission a few times a year on family business. We always make sure to stop in. PS-Requested a roomy table for date night (my fellas a big, tall one). The table was perfect and we even had specially red rose folded napkins. I was not very impressed with the food. I enjoyed the ceviche. The main course was lacking in flavor. The ribeye in my linguine was over cooked and did not taste fresh at all. The cocktails were interesting, not worth what your paying. Over all, this place is over priced for what it is. Id expect this quality from a food truck. Went for the first time in a date with my wife. Very nice place. Can go casual or upscale. Like the food, the atmosphere is fusion. I hate that I cant remember our servers name, but he was absolutely incredible. He was attentive, knowledge, and super friendly. Im working in the area for a few months and will definitely be back!

First time at this place. Arrived for our reservation on time for a party of 10 . We were sat immediately at our table. That was the only good thing about our experience at Mikhuna. It was all downhill after that. Our server took our orders in a respected amount of time. We ordered drinks, appetizers and our meals. Our appetizers took over an hour to come out. Mind you a party of 3 arrived at the same time we did and got their full meals (not appetizers) first. Another table beside us already had a 2 people finishing their meal and a new party of 4 sat down at their table after they left. That new party of 4 still got their meals before us. No apologies, no sorry about the wait, just kept offering refills. Then when our meals came out, they came out one or two at a time. Its hard to know if this was the servers fault or kitchen fault. Another large party of at least 10 people came in 30 minutes after we arrived and sat behind us. And WOW, they got their food before us. Its as if the server didnt want to let management know there was a problem with the kitchen and just let us wait. We all got our food just shy of 2 hours from ordering. Nothing special was ordered that was off the menu. We ordered the same things the kitchen has cooked several times before. And before the whole argument of management trying to claim Saturday night is our busiest night, or Be patient itsSaturday, Saturday night expect to wait, or we were a large party will not suffice. Im sure we were not and wont be the last party of 10 this place has ever served. Plus the party of 10 that came in after us and got their food, puts that claim to bed. Because we were in good company with friends was the only reason this review gets 1 star. I dont know what caused the issue but this was a horrible experience. Management was nowhere in sight and we wont be coming back. Update 1 year later. We have not gone back but I did notice management did not comment or provide feedback on my negative review. However, I did notice management commented on all the positive reviews and some negative reviews. Perhaps the mindset is, why bother commenting on a negative review when the majority of reviews are positive. Not worth the time for a non repeat customer since the customer wont return, etc. Im not sure why there was no response, but being in the customer service industry, you should make an effort to reply to all negative reviews since you do read the reviews as it shows in the replies only on the positive ones and some negative ones. I would be more inclined to believe they didnt reply because they dont read the reviews, but clearly the reviews are read.

This is a very unique restaurant featuring options from several cuisines. Upon entering, you will notice they spent a lot of time to perfect the atmosphere. Everything is well designed and decorated. The service was extremely good. We had Marcello and he explained everything, provided several great recommendations, and checked on us just enough to make sure everything was good. The food is outstanding. Everything was reasonably priced for the quality. Their menu exhibits the kitchens capability to cook a variety of dishes. Everything we had was great.

I was finally able to try this place, and it was very enjoyable. Santiago took great care of us! My BFFs and I had our monthly dinner yesterday, and we tried the following: Palta Rellena de Camarones, Fusion Ropa Vieja, and Arroz Chaufa w/chicken. For desert, Santiago recommended the Gianguja & Aji Amarillo Namelaka. Great pick! It didnt disappoint. Overall, I enjoyed everything that we ordered, but my friends favorite was the Arroz Chaufa w/chicken. If you are in the mood for a cocktail, the Passion Fruit Tamarindo is amazing! The ambiance is very relaxing and unique. I noticed that the lights were dimmed as the evening progressed. It was a nice touch. Thank you for an exceptional experience! Amazing first visit. Zero line. We had made reservations prior to arriving there. Our reservation was for 3 p.m. we got there at 2:45 and they sat us down within a minute of walking in. We were taken care of by Jorge. Very knowledgeable of his craft, the menu items, and the bar. Play Lady of what we wanted before we got there but what if it helped us pair the right appetizer with the right items and even the best drink. Our experience was Zero Rush, and very smooth. We were out of there within the hour and could not believe we had drinks, appetizers, main meal, and dessert with an after dinner coffee drink. Simply amazing!

We went here to celebrate my 30th birthday. We had a party of 20 people- we called ahead and made the reservation two days prior. Let me start by saying the food was immaculate. Everything was delicious. Every dish, every appetizer. The only problem was the service. With a reservation called ahead, they should have been prepared for a party that big. They kept getting confused with everyone s tabs. My mom suggested that they put names on the tabs and the waitress said she got it, however many things got confused many times. That wasn t a big deal. The other server brought a plate that my mom had not ordered and he said, Yes you did order this. This is what you ordered. I know it. She kept saying no, and he was getting flustered. Then he remembered it was someone else s plate at the end of the table on the opposite side of my mother. It was just a weird experience. Having been a server before, you just carry a different attitude with you and these people seemed annoyed we were there. The waitress was okay, can t really complain about her. But the male server was just.. agitated or something. For the price, the food is worth it. But my entire group was uncomfortable and most if not all, would not return. Again, the food is just *chefs kiss* The service is uncomfortable.

Amazing textile art on the walls. Relaxed atmosphere. Tables spaced well apart. Anthony, the waiter, did a great job and also joked along with us on our girls night out. The food was exquisite. Very good restaurant overall. The food was very good and authentic. We visited with Peruvian people and they loved the food and how authentic it was. One thing to note though is that there seems to be very little Japanese style food on the menu, so the food is more argentinian-peruvian style. The service was great and the employees are very friendly. The only downside to the restaurant was the music didnt really fit the theme. My Peruvian friend kept saying they should play the flight of the condor.

Although the food was good, the prices were a bit steep for the portions. While the serving size in the picture may appear to be decent, some might find it difficult to justify paying $22 for a dish of shrimp and rice. Additionally, the absence of complimentary sides and drink refills can add up quickly, especially when a can of diet coke costs $2.00 each. If you typically consume 3-4 drinks during a meal out, this could quickly become a costly affair. The place is nice, parking is not very convenient but easy to get to. I would go again, but not when Im really hungry. The pictures you see are Arroz Chaufa and Arroz con Mariscos. The mango lemonade is good too $4 each...

The service was amazing the waiter gave great recommendations. Wait time to get drinks and food was amazing. The food was really greasy, authentic and had a lot of flavor! I had the empanadas as the appetizer and they were crispy and full of flavor. I also had the guava pisco cocktail and it was just the right amount of sweat and not too strong. I visited this restaurant for the first time, my experience was not so good, I didnt think they got confused and took our dishes to another table, they had the intention of giving us the same dish but they returned it according to To exchange them for freshly prepared ones, in my opinion For health and hygiene reasons they have to bring new dishes. but the dishes arrived cold since we ordered hot food not a cold dish, apparently they were not prepared As they said, I did not like the chicken filling because it lacks flavor. This was our first time at this restaurant, it was amazing! Misael our server was great and the food was delicious. We ordered the Pulpo al olivo as an appetizer which was a perfect blend of textures and flavors, we followed that with Arroz con Mariscos which came as a well served portion of Paella with perfectly cooked shrimp and mariscos. The yuca frita was amazing with a great spicy sauce, we definitely took the leftovers home at this restaurant! We will be back soon! Thank you!

This was my first time here and the food was delicious. We sat outside in the patio with a heater. We started with drinks and the ceviche Peruano. The ceviche was very good with a creamy spicy sauce. My dinner partner ordered the Lomo saltado, and I had the aeropuerto. The presentation was beautiful. It was very well served. The shrimp was cooked perfectly and the egg was good. For dessert we had a chocolate tiramisu cake and the alming and lucuma tart. The tart stole the show. It wasnt overly sweet and had a great crunch from the almonds. Our server Anthony was very attentive and made some great recommendations. Looking forward to our return visit.

This is my favorite restaurant in the whole valley! Edit: They changed the menu and got rid of a lot of dishes... The prices went up for what the portions are now. Dont trust the menu from the website cause it is the old one, and yeah, its just disappointing now. There are not many vegetarian options except salads or apps like Yuka frita or Tostones (no actual dishes like before). The sushi on my pic, its gone too. I think it was the pukuchi maki. The service on my last visit wasnt the greatest either. They dont serve the complementary edamame anymore. This used to be my 5 star restaurant, and now it went down to 3
