I love visiting Dr. Maxwell and his team. It never feels like a Dr. Appointment because they talk time out to talk to you and listen to whats going with you. Each visit is more like visiting family or a good friend and I always leave with a smile on my face. It feels good when you know that you have an expert in healthcare by you side, and make me feel like I can overcome any problems that life through at me. Thanks Dr. Maxwell & Team for be a blessing, my Physician & Nurses, teachers and friends for me and my family. I give Dr. Maxwell and his team 5 star for healthcare., customers service. . I will continue to tell others about how Dr. Maxwell & team are wonderful and gives top of the line healthcare and always go above and beyond the call of duty for their patients. Doctors dont work for you. You wait weeks to finally get an appointment with your doctor and then don t get a chance to discuss all your health concerns. Your doctor seems caring, but rushed. Doctors used to be friendly and helpful, taking time to listen to patients concerns and answer their questions. Now they seem to be checking off boxes and seeing patients as if on an assembly line. How did that happen? (Follow the MONEY). They have given their practices to the consolidation of corporate-profit oriented money making big bussiness. So be carful in what you devolluge to, or expect from your primary-care doctor(s) (GIGO). they, - are not your friend.

havent been on my medicine in months because you can call this place 2-3 times and they still fail to call your prescription in to the pharmacy. On top of that, they removed the option to request refills online not that it usually worked anyways. doctor is always nice, just not sure what is so hard about the prescriptions!

This office was an interesting and quite distasteful experience for me. I am a first responder, a police officer. Having the availability to take off work to go into a doctors office is something that I don t have the luxury of doing often, but I had no choice in order to be able to successfully receive medications and referrals for this office. I went in and was made to wait for an extensive period of time which ultimately made me late to work. Then, 40 days lapsed before I received 3 referrals requested from this office. I sent messages on the portal; no response. I called the office 5 separate times; the nurses voicemail was full, also, no response. My medication was out of stock and the pharmacy sent THREE (3) separate requests for a change of prescription and received; you guessed it no response. Finally, I switched PCPs as I feel I was being discriminated against for being transgender on HRT. My doctor, Dr. Gowola refused to participate in gender affirming care which was already established under another physician years prior; I don t discount him for this as it is his choice and personal beliefs of which I believe all people are entitled to, however, to fail to provide me with the resources needed to gain access to physicians that would be willing to treat me is gatekeeping and discriminatory. Several weeks later after not receiving any of the referrals I requested, I was contacted by a faith based mental health provider Hope Speaks I stated during my visit that I had my own provider and took this as a sign that they were purposely trying to enforce their views upon my medical condition. The office was not friendly nor welcoming. Its worth noting that I did not choose this office as my PCP. It was elected by my insurance provider and I had to jump through hoops to switch providers after being treated so poorly. It s now been over a month since I have received effective care. Very disappointing, more than just being transgender, I serve my community, I m a veteran, and I am human being.

I have been a patient of FHCA since 2003. Ive been a patient of Dr. Golwala for over 5 years since my first doctor retired. Dr. Golwala is knowledgeable, compassionate, and an overall good man. His nurses are friendly and efficient. The FHCA technicians and front office staff are great.

I have been coming here for the past 5 years, basically all throughout my 20s. Dr. Golwala and his team have been very helpful and attentive when addressing any concerns that I have. He is always patient and willing to take the time to answer and hear me out about any concerns that I have. Even though I have moved further away, and no longer work near here, I still choose him and his team to handle my medical needs. The staff/nurses are also very kind and ease my anxiety, especially when needles are involved.

I had an appointment at 3PM and arrived a little after 2:30PM. I was helped and seen quickly. Everyone was so nice and pleasant. Dr. Maxwell and the nurse and two receptionists are just wonderful. Straight to the point and answered all my questions. They re efficient. I love that I can come to this clinic for all my healthcare needs.

Dr. Vu is amazing and this review has nothing to do with her or her staff but there is a receptionist/scheduler who is terrible. Twice now she has been so incredibly rude and dismissive and actually told me, very quickly without actually having time to look for an opening, to go to an urgent care bc they didnt have time for me. Its just this lady bc every time I get anyone but her, they are great and always fit me in.

It has been a good experience going there. The Staff is always nice and trying to do their best with appointments times and dates. times and dates.- very flexible!! Dr. Maxwell sits and listens to me. He is providing patient center care. Nowadays it is hard to find medical providers who really care for their patients.

Dr Elizabeth Vu is an OUTDSTANDING doctor and her Team (Taylor & Andrea) as equally as OUTSTANDING. The three of them provide superior bed-side attention and care; Ive never received this sort of superior customer experience anywhere else from the Mid-west to the DFW. This Team goes far beyond the required physicians care, and they are on the business of getting to the root-cause and healing, not addressing just symptoms and covering them up. If you are looking for superior care for yourself and your family; always choose Dr. E. Vu and her Team Taylor and Andrea.

My doctor used to be Dr Amol Golwala, I went in for my yearly physical, during the visit he asked me if I wanted to discuss anything else, which we did. I received a bill for over 400 for this discussion, that was not covered by my insurance. At no point, did Dr Golwala ever mentioned that this was not covered by my insurance, had he done so, I would of gladly scheduled another visit. So shady on the way it was done and how I was ripped off, in my opinion

Love Stephanie at the front desk, as she and the others welcome you in and are pleasant. I have been going there for many years because we love Dr. Miller and Dr. Vu. Best doctors. Love the ease of getting a same day appointment and love the after hours and weekend hours because thats what happens we get sick on a weekend, but we dont have to suffer because Family Healthcare cares about the patients and come in to help. Thank you Dr. Miller for truly caring for your patience and Stephanie for your patience with my tough schedule. You guys are the best!

From check in at the front desk with Stephanie (she is always so friendly and helpful) to Dr. Miller and her office staff of Eva and Cristina, my experience is has always been excellent. Dr. Miller takes time to listen, she is very thorough and ensures when you leave her office you are on your way to feeling better. I have been seeing Dr. Miller for the last 14 years and could not imagine a better ally for my overall health.

I wanted to leave feedback for the phlebotomist, Ricardo, at Family Healthcare Richardson. My wife has deep veins and is a hard stick and is quite scared to have her blood taken. At other medical places, she is usually stuck multiple times. Ricardo was so good with her, listened to her, calmed her and only had to stick her once. He promised he would look closely at her veins before he stuck her. He listened to her advice that, based on past experience, there were some decent veins in her hand. Thank you Ricardo, you are great!

Stay away! They do not care. I called to be checked out and they would rather I spend 5k at the ER, than let me come in to spend a$30 copay to see if they can see what is wrong. Didnt even try to see me! Next! They refused to see my son last month just because he is not vaccinated and we did a home covid test showing negative.... They want the easy money cases and dont care about people. Shut them down! I used online dr for my son. Dr Says $30 got amoxacillin for possible strep and my son was good in 2 days. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED DR MAXWELL WAS my DR.

Been a patient of Dr miller for over 10 years. Been through many things. Then i up and get a call thinking they are responding to my message in patient portal. Nope, Dr miller will no longer see me, nor will i be her patient. No letter, no reason, nothing. Just goodbye. I wish I could tell you alot of the great things about this place, but lately it seems this is not the place to get taken care of. Sad to see a 10plus yr relationship gone with nothing more than a 15 second phone call. I really expected more than that. She was a great doctor, but others Ive talked to that go there agree the service of care is severely going down hill. And I work in Healthcare. I will spend my money elsewhere.

I have seen this doctors office for years, and now they suddenly refused to see me because I do not have a booster shot for COVID. That is just poor policy... walked in needing to see a doctor for what I am almost certain is strep and they turned me away for that. Wow! So if youre sick I would certainly not go to this place.

I want to do a H pylori test and I have to go to a third party lab to do it because I had to work during their office time. They promised to send the request to Labcorp but they didn t. So I spent time driving and making appointment and come to Labcorp for nothing. And they cannot send it immediately because they were closed. Stupid because I specifically asked them if I need paper work to schedule, they said no, so I ended up not being able to do the test. Very disappointed

Our family has gone to Richardson Healthcare going on 20 years. Mona has been with the front office staff since day one and is always very professional, sweet and helpful. For as long as I can remember, Dr. James Olfson has been our family Dr. He is very friendly, smart and thorough. He always explains everything so you understand and we trust his judgement. He has diagnosed serious and non-serious issues and referred us when needed. Our kids respect him so much they always go back to him when they are in town.

From my first visit I can tell the staff here is great! Melissa greeted me she was very upbeat and welcoming, as was everyone else at reception. Dr. Golwala is awesome! He definitely knows his stuff. He also has a great communication style and presence. I d 100% recommend this doctor s office (and Dr. Golwala in particular) to anyone on the fence about switching to/finding a new doctor.

Since moving here in 2016, Dr. Clothier has been my PHP. Nothing against him, he s great, but I ve only seen him once. every time make an appointment, he s not available. Again, nothing against the other doctors either. They re also OK. But what draws the last straw for me, is the mask. I refuse to wear a mask if I m not sick! And they refuse to see me without a mask so, ok, don t see me (or my $$$) then. You guys are doctors. You should know the mask is useless if you re not sick! When you get rid of the mask requirement, I will consider returning.

My very first visit, the doctor only wrote prescriptions that I told him I was taking. The MA took my vitals, the doctor never even listened to my heart rate or my breathing. My bill was $700.00 and paid it down to $583.00. I sent a payment in for $50 and they took the ENTIRE $583.00 out of my account, which put my account in the negative. I can say when I called they did put it back into my account but never apologized for they mistake they made. Upon waiting to get my account back together, they sent my account straight to collections. Never sent another bill or even a phone call.

Not sure about these complaints regarding the front office staff. I have been going to this practice since the early 2000s and never once had a rude or uncaring encounter at the front. Dr. Miller is wonderful but switched to Dr. Vu for her more open availability. A lovely practice with great staff and never have had any complaints with scheduling, medication refills, and so on.

I have been seeing Dr. Maxwell as my primary care physician for nearly 30 years. I called to make an appointment to diagnose some pain issues. The office manager answered, and her first question was if it was a work related injury. I told them I didnt know, and that I needed to see my doctor to diagnose it. They told me that because my injury was work-related, I would have to talk to my employers HR about it and refused to put me on the schedule - even though there was no indication it was work-related. I visited with a doctor via tele-visit. That doctor said it didnt seem to be related to work, but a proper diagnosis of the issue would require an in-person visit with my PCP - Dr. Maxwell. I called again, and after explaining the situation, a nurse still wouldnt schedule me - as per the office manager. I asked to speak to them and was sent to voicemail. The office manager did not return my call. Dr. Maxwell is a wonderful physician, but since I am unable to schedule an appointment to see him, I have been forced to switch practices in order to receive the treatment that I need.

I have to start out by saying i have never been a patient here personaly but I have had to bring my mom to her appointments here several time this last year. The front desk is wonderful. All very friendly and know my mom by name. Julia is a gem as well. Very patient. When I called to let them know my mom passed Jessica the manager was very sympathetic and we had a lengthy conversation about how much they cared about my mom. I dont know if this against their policy but she prayed with me and I just started sobbing. I personally felt more sympathy with her than my own family. I highly recommend this office.

I love this office. The wait time is minimal and it s very organized. I see Dr. Golwala. He is an amazing family care physician. I ve been a medical assistant for several physicians in the past and I know a good one when I see it. He really listens and goes beyond just writing you a prescription. Avoid this place. I have been coming to this place since 2020 and I must say I regret it. Today was the last straw. They had me drive all the way in for a scheduled appointment and there was a sign on the door stating patients can t be see for in office visits all week. I did not receive not even a courtesy call so I wasted my gas and time showing up for nothing. Earlier in 2020 I had really bad back and ankle pain and was seen by dr maxwell and dr gowala. All they did was try to feed me pills and refer me to spine doctors. I practically had to beg gowala just to have time off from work with a doctors note. After going to Airrosti turns out it was a muscle problem and they diagnosed me right away. Please go there instead if you have back pain or any body aches elsewhere.

The office manager Jessica is very rude and unprofessional, she will speak over you without hesitation..I ve experienced rudeness on more than one occasion from the front office staff which is crazy being that I have had my doctor for so long .. Doctor Maxwell is amazing but the front desk associates are an unpleasant surprise. .

Dr Elizabeth Vu D.O. and Dr James Olfson M.D. are fantastic. (We have positive, but fewer, experiences with the other doctors there.) Lab and X-ray on site (not on weekends, but Methodist is next door if urgent need for labs or X-ray on weekend). Open after hours for WALK-INS between 5-7PM M-F, 0900 to 1PM on Saturdays, and Noon or 1PM to 4PM on Sundays.

Dr. Clothier has been a very reliable PCP for over 15 years. His referrals to specialists were always very good. The business office has responded very well whenever I requested additional documentation. I would recommend Dr. Clothier without reservation.

I waited since December 06, 2016 to be able to see a Cardiology Specialist for Chest Pain and numbness of my hands, Dr. Rogers with Family Healthcare Associate group wasnt really interested in hearing my concerns. Went back for a second time in January 1, 2017 and this time I was prescribe an inhaler for Asthma. Wow!!! all this time I kept complaining about Chest Pains and numbness of my arms. Finally saw the Cardiologist on August 6 and was told to come back the following morning, had surgery because I had a blockage in one of my arteries for high cholesterol. Im glad that I was persistence, Im very disappointed at Dr. Rogers and the physicians that attended me. I could have die because of someone negligence.
