It is 8/7/24 at 4pm and I just called to schedule a bankruptcy consultation. I am unavailable in the mornings and asked for a lunch time or afternoon appointment. I was told I had the option of 8:30, 9, or 9:30 and that he schedules morning first before any afternoons. So basically, if you arent available first thing in the morning, then this is not the law firm for you. The receptionist seemed to take pleasure in being uncooperative was very happy to NOT help. She told me at one point its a phone consultation as if that should all of a sudden free up my calendar. My sons orthodontist isnt going to appreciate me being on the phone during his appointment....seriously???? I even ask for the next weeks availability and thats when i was told it was strictly morning appointments. Just look elsewhere!!! RESPONSE: I asked for the following week availability and was told straight out you dont make afternoon appointments for consultations. I was willing to book out as far as i needed to in order to accommodate an afternoon appointment. Do not come on here and act like i dont understand the concept of scheduling....get real!

I would like to advise anyone who is thinking about bankruptcy to call Acker Warren. I myself found them by these reviews. I would say Brandon was not very helpful. I called him and told him what I wanted and he said oh getting is settled is not gonna happen instead of saying I ll do everything I can. I chose not to go with him due to this. Seemed like he was pre-occupied as well when I called. There was a lot of movement of papers or something when I called. Bankruptcy or dealing with debt lawsuits arent the most fun, but they made it almost painless.
