Wish their social media would actually promote all the different shops they have. Ive been here multiple times and its always hot. Their thermostat was reading 81, and apparently yall okay with that. Upstairs is even worse, they have little cute area to sit and hang but its disgustingly hot on the second floor. Perhaps place industrial ceiling fans. Great concept but the execution hasnt improved.

Highly recommend Caramela at Mercado District! The coffee is very good and cheaper than Starbucks. They have very upscale coffee and frappes alongside very good pastries and crepes. Very clean, staff is very friendly and everything I tried was delicious!

This is such a cute and great place to visit. You have an amazing variety of unique foods. Everyone can have what they crave and all sit together to eat. The shops have beautiful clothes, arts and crafts, food, shopping ideas and drinks. Some items were quite pricey, but it must be attributed to the ease ambiance and beauty of the location. Will be back again for Christmas shopping for sure.

First time visiting this place and I want to say I was impressed how clean and organized it looks. I love the variety of food options, but it was also hard to decide. On the other hand, I had my kiddos with me and they re so picky it was great that I could select my food and get them a pizza. Pizzeria Di Soria was so delicious and fresh! I got a basic pepperoni pizza and my picky eaters loved it and ate it all. I got orange friend rice from Ronin Noodle but they ran out of rice so it came with noodles instead. It was good but nothing to rave about. The noodles were a little overcooked and became a bit mushy. Walking around the shopping area was really nice to walk off dinner. There was a guy playing the sax and was playing excellent music that I was familiar with and his interaction with the crowd was impeccable. We will definitely be back when we visit McAllen. I want to try other foods and do some more shopping.

We ate from Cocinita and Joleens. The food was very expensive and overpriced but it was delicious. The interaction with both restaurants staff was great. The location is kept clean by the constant roving Mercado cleaning folks. Great job.

Great place for small shops. There are lots of empty shops and they are still adding more shops. We enjoyed walking around looking at everything. They even have an elevator to make going upstairs easier. Clean restrooms all over. All the tenants are friendly. Big food court. We cant wait to come back and try them. In time this will be a great place to shop. We will be back

I remember going to the Bargain Bazaar and shopping for jewelry and chucherias as a kid/teen, and seeing stand after stand close down over the years. So happy with the renovations that turned it into more of an upscale shopping and dining experience.

This place is interesting. Many small shops and a food court. Food is very expensive. Whats the deal with food truck type restaurants expecting tips when they dont provide any service? Payment must be made in advance and Im concerned about the treatment of my meal when I dont tip in advance. Weve all heard the stories about sending a plate back to the kitchen... This is similar in my mind.

Although I really do miss the Bargain Bazaar, this new Mercado District is really great to see. Some of the old stores from Bargain Bazaar are still here with plenty of other new stores, but now with more restaurants and a bar. The atmosphere here is really great and I was also surprised with how clean everything is. This is one place I want to visit again and again to fully see and experience whats here.

We tried Jolene s BBQ and I really enjoyed the Buffalo chicken sandwich. Buffalo sauce was so good and the chicken was cooked just right. The fried ribs were overcooked, I know the idea might ve seemed like a good idea to fry the ribs after it s cooked but it just makes the ribs extremely dry.

This is the second time i have had a horrible experience trying to get coffee at Carmellas. The first time i was trying to get coffee, the young lady was distracted with her boyfriend the whole time after waiting a while, i didn t want coffee anymore. The other day i decided to give it another go, and this time the blonde girl was distracted cause she had her headphones on, why do you have headphones while you are working??? Horrible customer service!! Be more professional and do better ladies!!!

This an upscale flea market with a unique layout and lots of selection. The atmosphere and decor are what make this place a unique find. Food was excellent. We had Baklava at Arabian Tacos and Gyros which was delicious and then we strolled through the rest of the shops. The entire visit was fun and worth the drive.

I beg of you DO NOT rent a booth here its a complete waste of money you will never see a single dime you invest on these booths there isnt a single person that passes by here Ive been renting one over 6 months and Ive had about 10 sales and currently not a single sale. The marketing team I guess dont have a single brain cell because there way to promote the mercado is to get a influencer from an other city to come and promote the mercado thats a laughable way to waste money and time, but I doubt they actually invest the money they earn from there tenants. Everyone that rents here leaves the next 4 months I havent seen the same people stay over a year. Good luck having a business here. 3-1-2024

Lots of great and different options that you dont find very often here in the valley. You have food from Vietnam and Italy to smash burgers and birria tacos and a lot of places in between. If I could give a negative star I would, this place only benefits from the tenants who have positions here, I include myself and I will soon leave like everyone else, when you sign a contract they promise you so much and they lie that they have a marketing team, what they have They are pahuraques that fine you if you open 5 minutes late or if you close 5 minutes early and if you have an emergency and cannot open they fine you $80 dlr...if you leave before your contract ends they not only charge 25% IF THEY DO NOT ADD MORE COSTS ! THESE PEOPLE ARE TAKING ADVANTAGE OF THE TENANTS FROM YEARS AGO AND THE NEW TENANTS! As a restaurant and bar it is very good but dont fall for sales no! All week not a single soul passes through the hallways, only them looking to fine! The place is very far away and is not known as a shopping center thats why everyone leaves! There will be someone to stop these rat people who come to the United States to scam!
