Came here for a quick breakfast place with donuts, and the service was fast and amazing! The workers were friendly, and the food was fresh and tasted amazing. Highly recommend this place for some fast, fresh, and great tasting food.

I don t really come to places like this but I was craving a Kolache, I went through Drive-thru and the service was good. Time was excellent received my ordered fast. When I opened the bag I was surprise the size of the Kolache it was huge!! But when I took the first bite that thing was mostly all bread, very dissatisfied. Won t recommend this place for Kolaches at all

These are awesome glazed donuts crispy and flaky glaze, and perfectly soft and doughy, not too sweet like Krispy Kreme either! I ve eaten donuts in many states and countries and the only donut shop that rivals Shipley s is Paul s Bakery in Fredericksburg, VA. The only reason for 4 stars on atmosphere is the lack of a restroom. Keepin it Real, no kickbacks!

The ladies are kind and were helpful. The place was clean. Tinted windows keeps the place cool and comfortable. The donuts were good too. Dave does a nice job.

Cashier got my order completely wrong asked for 3 dozen of doughnut holes and 1 ham and cheese kolache cashier only charged for 3 donuts holes I corrected her and repeated the order she only gave me 1 dozen mixed with sprinkles after I had said no sprinkles at all and gave me a sausage and cheese jalapeno kolache and did not give me my receipt

I love this location it s so original and unique to me. I grew up in McAllen as I m sure a lot of y all did as well and this was my to go to growing up. The service and quality hasn t changed <3 ! Never again! Purchased 3 dozen of glazed donuts at 7am. Got to the office at 7:10. Donuts were cold and hard. I called the store on 10th and a young man told with me that the donuts were just made and I was wrong on the description of the product. Been going there 30 yrs. Never again! Food

Our compadres and us came here late last Friday evening, grabbed a doughnut w/a coffee each, took a seat, ate our doughnuts, drank our coffee, chatted for a few minutes reflecting on our lives we all have had and shared together with our families for the past 35 years, ordered more doughnuts, with more coffee, enjoyed our time here at Shipley Do-Nuts, interacted with the store servers/owners, and had one of our best Friday outings together here at Shipley Do-Nuts that we have had in a while. The fresh glazed are my favorite. Old school! Fresh from the oven are the best, but they do warm quickly in the microwave if needed. And not all Shipleys stores are created equal. My son lives in San Antonio, but this location is still his absolute favorite. He goes every time he visits. Enjoy! UPDATE: Still the best!

Oh man. It was awesome. The man at the counter was so nice and apologetic for taking longer than normal. He was alone and working. Counter and drive through window. Such a great guy and donuts are always nice and fresh. I went back and gave him a tip because he worked hard and deserved it. Would defiantly recommend.

I m guessing new hires (two girls) since I ve never seen them before? Anyway, they seemed to be goofing off before arriving, which is fine. Keep in mind that this is the drive thru. One girl is relaying what I ask for to the other girl and the other girl keeps picking the wrong ones. I mention to the girls that the ones she s getting aren t the ones I m asking for. Once the girl corrects the other girl, the ones picking out the donuts, rolls her eyes. Out of all the times and all the years I have been there, never has the staff been this rude. Specifically those two girls. Donuts are great but maybe hire customer friendly staff next time.
