We only used the volley ball court. But it was a good time and it was late at night. The lighting is perfect and not once did we feel unsafe. There runners out end we were there well into the night awesome park!

My favorite park to go on a walk or to take the family. Its a pretty big park, and it has playgrounds on both sides of the park, plus two restroom locations. Playground: Three playgrounds. Two on east side aide of the park, and one on the west side. Toilets: Two restroom locations. One building on east side, and the other on the west side. Dog-friendliness: Lots of people take their dogs on a walk here. Picnic area: Big open areas for picnic

This park should be more cared for clean and landscaped. It has a lot of potential and is located in a good area in The center of McAllen. I was reading it was built in 2009 with a 700k invested in this park. City of Mcallen please take good care of this park. First time coming to park was amazed with size of park and plenty of playgrounds for the kids to play on. Aside from the great slides and jungle gyms , I got to say that what Im most amazed by is the restrooms. They always have toilet paper and soap to wash your hands. That for me gives it a 5 star rating .

Great park, incredible walking paths, and they just got some brand new playgrounds that are fantastic! The bathrooms however are really lacking. They are not just dirty, they are disgusting. The sink is temperamental, and only works when it wants to. If they fixed the bathrooms and kept up with them, this would be the perfect park. Playground: Brand new, and amazing! Toilets: Absolutely disgusting.

Bill Schupp park is a place to go if you want peace and calm. There will be a lot of people. But its mostly families. The trees are delightful. The playgrounds look clean. They have benches and tables and bbq pits. Restrooms need more maintenance though, so bring your own sanitation wipes and wet wipes/tp.

Great place to exercise, socialize, play with your kids, walk your dogs (or cats), and play Pokémon Go. The track is well maintained and well lit at night. Playground: The playground offers plenty of space and diverse activities from kids to teenagers to engage with. Adults also have access to a full clean sand volleyball court. Soccer players have the necessary space to play a few rounds. Larpers (live action role players) also have the ability to play imaginary harmless sword fighting contests with each other. They have a unique and interesting skill set that would intrigue most by-passers, and also make some want to join in the fun. Toilets: The restrooms are clean and well lit. Dog-friendliness: This is a great place to walk or run with your puppers. There are several trash receptacles accessible for when your furry pals need to relieve themselves, thus making the park clean and safe. Picnic area: There is plentiful space available for casual use such as reading or working on a project. There are bbq pits available next to several picnic tables. Many birthday and holiday celebrations are held here bringing in many community members.

Bull Schupp Patk is a nostalgic park for me, I have pictures here as a little girl. (Back when they had the lion water fountain) The park is updated with several sections to accommodate chilldren of all ages, and now includes a volleyball court as well. Playground: Plenty to choose from, different variations appropriate by age Toilets: Cleaner than expected, however I did not see a changing table for infants

Today we were here to revitalize some of the park. There were many groups enjoying the nice weather... a yoga group, a church group and a mommy group. Playground: This park has 2 playground areas. Well, been coming to this park since 1999, it was clean air. We been flying out kites , the childrens play stations have all be redone for safety which is an improvement a five star rating. About the latter part of 2019 I began coming home wit an awful smell of half sanitized water on my clothes All I can figure out is the water they use there is some what brackish. Havent gone back since.

So many Rude and Miserable people at this park, made it Difficult for me to Enjoy the nature trail. Some of them would rudely jump on my side of the trail while walking towards me to literally try to run me off the trail. And then this very Mean and Cruel lady with a big hat Cursed at me for no reason. I felt so drained and terrible from this ugly and wrongful situation that I wanted to call the police and make a harassment report, but I just got in my car and left, its not even worth it, I dont even want to see pictures of this park again.

I love the size and atmosphere. I like taking my dog there. But there is some disrepair. The light poles have tape wrapped around the bottoms . My dog got a shock on a wet day. I called parks and they assured me they would address it. Year and a half later nothing changed.

A park where families have the opportunity to enjoy as a family. My granddaughters enjoyed it very much. Playground: The little ones can enjoy the recreational park and quiet walks. Toilets: We didnt visit them, so I have no expectations of them. Dog-friendliness: Visitors can walk their dogs and find bags in the corners to pick up the Pipo and keep the place clean. Picnic area: You can enjoy tables and barbecue as a family whenever you want to spend a nice day cooking for them.

Im so glad someone else mentioned the rude people at the park. Ive been walking here for years and familiar with some of the locals. However, lately new people are showing up and they feel they own the track. Ive had some side swipe me, some are to busy talking with eachother and practically run me off the trail and today some tall older man was walking on my heals until I stopped and moved out of his way. This entitled person didnt even acknowledge me to apologize let alone say thank you. Yet, he went around the person infront of me. Some people lack self awarness and are bullies.

I haven t been here since last year, I liked the new slide for children, the cleanliness. But! Gopher burrows can cause injury to babies. The pools require attention, the water is very dirty, or there is no water at all.
