Greg Terra was extraordinary and helped my father in a very unorthodox case. Not only did he manage to get all fees waived, he managed to do it without my father present. My dad was involved in an accident that was his fault. Shortly after he contracted a brain virus that left him permanently disabled. He was not able to make it to his court dates and because of the virus and loss of his job he also could not pay anything unless it was very minimal. Greg and Alison were hands down the best of help when I got my first (and will be my last) DUI. They were very knowledgeable about the process from getting an occupational drivers license all the way to getting me into a pre trial program to get the case dismissed. Whenever possible, I dont recommend finding oneself in situations where youre in need of a lawyer. However, if you do, I highly recommend Greg Terra. I landed myself in an unfortunate situation, and having very little experience with the criminal legal system, was quite anxious and unsure of how this might impact my life. I reached out to Greg through his website and received a call back from his assistant, Allison, within 24 hours. I believe I messaged them after hours, and it was the next morning. I had an appointment to meet with Greg to discuss my ase almost immediately. I explained my case as I understood it and my anxiety about the entire process and the situation in general. Greg thoughtfully explained the general process, informed me of what I could expect from the courts, shared his rates, and agreed to take my case, if I was interested in hiring him. Although I didnt need a payment plan, I did note that plans were available when reviewing my paperwork. I left the office after that first day feeling considerably less anxious, well represented, and much better prepared for what was to come. As time progressed, I occasionally had questions for Greg and Allison on the process and even sought guidance on how to handle some indirectly related circumstances. In every case, I received timely, professional advice. Greg genuinely cared that I was uneasy about my situation and did an excellent job explaining to me the details of the case, the evidence presented to him, and the options available to me. Because of his expert advice and experience, my case will result in dismissal, and in two years, my charges are eligible to be expunged. I appreciate his support and understanding throughout this process, and his professional guidance as it relates both to the law itself, and familiarity with the county court system and their processes. If you find yourself navigating a legal situation that falls within Gregs scope, I would recommend reaching out for a consultation. On top of everything else, Greg was consistently early to court to ensure efficient and effective use of his clients time while in the courtroom. Not a good experience. We thought we was paying for a good lawyer that would look into the facts of the case and provide a good defense with a good outcome, especially since the facts of the case were on our side. Instead, our awesome lawyer decided to be a highly paid messenger. He relayed the message from the prosecutor and charged us over 7500 and basically refused to go to court in front of a jury because then that would require actual work. He stated we would lose in court. However, when he was taking my money he made it sound like this case was a slam dunk. He and his lawyer friend said they never heard of anyone getting charged for this and was laughing about it. He did other things to charge us more money with no work to back it up. He even charged us 150 bucks because client was a little late. Not someone you want in your corner. It felt like he was on the other team the whole time. By the way, this isnt the angry/difficult boyfriend. This is his dad that paid some of the money for this disaster. Look at his response to my review. Hes actually threatening my son with criminal charges for telling the truth about exactly what occurred. We also requested a receipt of our payments through his website and calling his business since some were made in cash. He has refused to acknowledge our requests. Is he trying to get away with not paying taxes?

!!!worth every dollar If your lucky enough to read this comment then you found your lawyer!!! My case was unique... so I thought. My situation desperate... Freshly out on bail, afraid, scrambling for information on my scenarios like my own..... whats the worst that can happen... Can I beat it... who do I go to.... The letters came in the ads popped up. I called a BIG lawfirm and he was selling me a great deal (how much do I wanna pay) I took it. The next day I felt funny about it, so I searched for a local, some one with great reviews, with a great web site..... But.... it wasnt any of that, that sold me on Greg.... It was his... brain storming, his.. fight. He made me feel as if he wanted me out of this as much as I did and that he was invested in my case as much as any other. I called Mr. Terra s office for a consultation and I was expecting them to call me back the next day or couple of days. I left a voice message and 10 minutes later his assistant called me and gathered the details she needed. She told me Mr. Terra would call me in a couple of hours, however he called in 20 minutes later. My case is different and I have a special situation so he is not currently my attorney, however he provided legal advised pretty much for free. I don t want anyone reaching out to him expecting the same result as I, like I mentioned above, my situation is different. Hopefully I don t need his services but if I end up needing an attorney, I will be calling him back! Mr. Terra was knowledgeable and his willingness to help me was impressive!

June 11, 2020. Let me respond to Gregs comment from yesterday. THIS WOMAN has a name its Denise, THIS WOMAN is a long time Government Employee with good standing. THIS WOMAN listened to what your advice was and told me and my son, he could request early release from probation. THIS WOMAN, after you failed my son, went and spoke to other Attorneys in Williamson County and all said every lawyer knows a judge would not consider early release until you have a year left of your probation. You could have mention that! After putting this original review you decide to threaten my son with suing him. He had nothing with my write up, in fact he knew nothing about it. I felt the need to make people aware, everything you say is not always true. And I never remember you stating you would represent him again for free. Hmm. I stick by my comments, you took my 2500 and spent 5 min in court. You can live with that. But on a good note, my son is doing wonderful, being successful with his job (Original write up) I hired Greg for a second time to represent my son in his Felony case, the first time he did help my son with his case. The second time, he just took my hard earn money and bold face lied to me and my son that he had a good chance to get off probation early if he completed all that was asked of him. Never once meeting with my son before his court date and waiting till the court date to tell my son he most likely would get denied. I wish he would have said that before I paid him $2500. I work hard for my money!! My son isnt perfect but he deserved to be a least represented properly. Not told contact me again when you only have a year left. Beware dont believe Greg Terra you can get off early. Like I said my son completed all that was asked and has not been in trouble since.

Mr Terra and His Staff are Very Knowledgeable of the law and the proper way to get things done. Allison at His Office was Awesome when I called trying to see about scheduling a consulation with Mr.Terra for my Williamson County Probation Case..I have been calling other attorney offices for two weeks trying to schedule consultations to be able to talk to an attorney about my situation and try to figure out what my opitions are and what i should do at this point... I will say, out of ALL the other attorney offices ive called to schedule a consulation with over the past Two Weeks (8to12 of them) Allison, there at his office is Great! Mr. Terra did an excellent job handling my case. He was professional from start to finish and unlike other lawyers I have worked with who billed by the hour and even charged me for copies and paperclips. He charged me a flat fee with payment options up front. When my court date finally arrived I expected and had already agreed to (with him) a certain amount of months of deferred adjudication and a fee. After looking over the paperwork in the courtroom Greg went above and beyond by pointing out just how close I was to getting into the pre-trial intervention program to the DA and the deferred adjudication and the fee were reduced significantly on the spot. This is something that he did not have to do, I did not pay him any extra to do and I did not expect. I cant express in a yelp review how much I appreciate his attention to detail and the way he honestly made me feel like he wanted the best results for me....not just my money. I can only leave him a five star review here, but Im giving him sixth gold star for being a great attorney and a genuinely nice person that made a confusing and scary process a lot easier.

I had 2 charges, Mr. Terra got one of them dropped and time served (8hrs) with no probation for the other one. He doesn t like disrespect or dealing with ignorant people, which is a bonus if you don t fall in to one of those categories. Truthfully it didn t seem like he was going to do much, but this is completely false. He just wouldn t look at any of the police footage until the morning of court... Caught a case of POCS (less than a gram) in Williamson county. Greg was referred to me through a friend who got his case dismissed a few years ago. From the moment we first walked in we knew this was the right choice. Valerie is such a sweet but tough lawyer who is not only personable but very professional. She never once gave us false hopes and kept us week informed every step of the way. Allison, their paralegal, was such a comfort whenever I called with questions and so knowledgeable. I hope we never have to hire them again but if we do there is no doubt they will be our first call!

Mr. Terra was fantastic, very professional, his office assistant was always responsive and on top of my case. At first I wasnt sure to pick for my case. My thinking proved to be correct. Attorney Terras experience and history in the judicial system was evident right from the very first meeting. Since I was unsure about what would happen, I was a bit anxious about the whole thing, but Mr. Terra always replied back to my questions in a reasonable amount of time.
