Walked in - apparently walked through the back door without knowing. It s dark. Damp. Most everyone there is in their late 40s to 50s so it s not the most welcoming crowd when you come in. The band that was there was nothing but loud. There was a $3 cover per person. The bar itself is smaller than expected from looking outside and there are a lot better options in the area. I asked for a menu and they waitress just pointed to the bar saying it s whatever they have. No house cocktails or specialties. Parking isn t paved and you re walking through dirt just to get to the door. Characters outside sitting in their car while others surround the door smoking. Won t be returning.

I asked the bartender to make me a specialty drink, gave the recipe, and she made it to a T. The service here has always been great! Envy Martini: 1 shot of frangelico, 1 shot of peach schnapps, 1 shot of Melon liquor, 1 shot of vodka, shake then add a splash of lime. They dont disappoint.

Its my favorite place, its like when you were playing kid at a party at your house and all your friends came and greeted you very happy and they sang with you and danced and we talked while having something delicious, the owner greeted everyone, the music was very good. Nice, the guys from all the bands always stop by to say hello to everyone, its great, its a shame they no longer allow smoking inside, but it doesnt matter, we always have a great time!

Its one of the nicer bars to go to. A bit more of an older crowd from what i have seen. No not 60s but not 20s either. Usually go when they have a live band playing. Never see fights or overly rowdy crowd the times i have gone. As always be safe travel with a friend

its dark, smelly, damp, and the drinks are unpleasant. its the worst dive bar ive been to recently. i will not be frequenting again, as the only people that seem to enjoy the place are the barflies and those that enjoy a quite talentless roster of live bands - you know the type if you cant play good play loud. The drinks are overpriced for drinks that rather taste like wet socks, not to mention the lukewarm beer.

Valley version of Blueberry Hill in st Louis, great memorabilia collection, John Simon has great storys behind the items. A bit smokey, but thats Texas & bar that doesnt serve food. Excellent mural outside: met the artist inside.
