Love the sushi and the atmosphere, tonight we choose to try the hibachi and the chef was great and the food was awesome however the moment the chef finished the food and left the table the server immediately brought us the check and to go boxes... felt rushed, like they wanted us to leave immediately. Outside that it was very good!

Lunch today was an absolute delight! We started with the steamed gyoza and crispy nacho appetizers. Both were delicious. The miso soup we had next was exactly at it should be. Then I had a the salmon teriyaki bento box and it was amazing! Salmon was cooked perfectly, the sauce was great and the California roll was so fresh! My husband had the scallop & shrimp hibachi and the portion was huge! We took plenty home for leftovers! The server and chef were both super friendly and attentive!

The food is terrific. The chefs are friendly. They also do some entertaining tricks. Yes there is a wait but they do that to ensure the seating area is full. Without question I recommend the fillet mignon and chicken with fried rice.

My wife and I came on 7/13/24 and were seated on the hibachi side. Everything was going great until we noticed baby roach walking between our two plates of food. We notified the cook and he immediately squashed it with a towel and continued like nothing happened. I asked the server to get the manager. A lady came by and offered to remove one of the two meals from out receipt. The server mentioned this was not the first time he saw this happen and believes the roaches are living in the hibachi tables. I sent an email to the restaurant requesting a full refund but never got a response.

Good sushi. Friendly staff. A bit pricey for the portions they give. The sushi was great the Yakisoba not so great. Service was very slow for take out. Called ahead and was told 15-30 mins for pickup. I showed up 30 minutes after I ordered and still waited another 20 minutes for my order.

New to the Mansfield area and decided to try Sake Hibachi Sushi & Bar with my daughters total party of 3. iPhone Maps was showing the restaurant to be closed at 5pm so I called and they confirmed the were in fact open. The service over all was a 5. Very entertaining and we were seated immediately. However, seating is tight compared to hibachi I have experienced in Dallas and overflow storage is kept along some walls in the dining areas. The food was just okay. We enjoyed the crab puffs appetizer and of course the soup and salad that comes prior to main course. While the rice, lo mien, and veggies were tasty, the meat was not. EVERYTHING (Shrimp, chicken, and beef) was over cooked. I might return to try their sushi but the $130 spent was not worth it.

This was probably the worst experience I ve had since coming here regularly. As we were wrapping up there were not 1 but 2 roaches on the Hibachi table where we were eating i spoke with manager and all i was told is they sprayed and that s why the roaches came out no offering to give a discount nor some type of compensation or coupon or ANYTHING! i came here today to get hibachi but i was a party of 1. i sat and waited 30 mins and they wouldn t serve me because i was by myself. it s not my fault no one wants to come eat at your restaurant therefore i shouldn t be not be able to eat because i want to spend time alone and go to a restaurant a go to AT LEAST ONCE A WEEK! i was a VERY loyal customer and this was my favorite place but as far as me and anyone else associated with me we will no longer be coming here for any reason. y all don t want my money that s fine i ll take it somewhere else. :)

Ability to accommodate large parties 14-20 ppl with or without reservations. They have multiple large dining set ups (at least a dozen) plus bar area, plus you can n order carry out. Our large family went here to after graduation. The good was great, the people are large, the price is very reasonable ( our familys tab was $450 which include gratuity ). This is a must try for family fun and / or weekend dining out. Well definitely be back. Vegetarian options: We had 2 vegetarians with us, they can cook your food first and separate from the rest. You can order all veggies, double veggies, etc.; and they can accommodate your request any way you like it. I was very pleased by this and we have a very happy graduate!

Louis was our chef. He was amazing! So much fun. The food was excellent. Do not like the no reservations for parties of less than 6. Had to wait 40min with no reservation & watched people walk out because of the wait. I only stayed because my kids (all over 17) had never had a hibachi experience and they were looking forward to it. Dont know that we will be back because of the no reservation policy, but thanks for the memory.

My soup was so watered down that it taste like water. My yum yum sauce was also watered down. I asked for medium steak and I got well done. Honestly I should have took my food back but I was in a rush and on lunch break. I will not be returning. Edit: thank you for replying to my review. It means a lot that you listen to your customers. The Hibachi is amazing! We shared the Sake Sake combination w steak, chicken shrimp, and scallops. I highly recommend getting the fried rice. Its so good alone or with the meat. Its a good amount of food, and you can take leftovers if youre not super hungry.

I have been to Sake with my family once every 2 weeks. The Hibachi always tastes fresh and great. Today, I come with a family member, and a group of 20 comes in right before us and gets seated. The employee then proceeded to say that it would be a 30-minute wait for Hibachi and that we should eat in the sushi area. Immediately I wanted to leave because when I ordered Hibachi to-go in the past, it didn t taste anything like when the chef prepared it right in front of me. He then proceeds to argue with me and say that it does, and we get seated at the sushi area. My food comes out, and I can immediately tell that it doesn t look anything like the Hibachi side. When I tasted it, it was disgusting. I don t understand how they have only 1-2 chefs during the day, and I definitely will never come here again. If I do, it will only be on the Hibachi side.

Sake Hibachi Sushi & Bar is located off Debbie on the corner of 287, serving the city of Mansfield with Hibachi dining and Japanese American favorites. We came through on a Friday night right before 8 and were seated at the Hibachi grill instantly. Inside, the restaurant was fairly packed, but a lot of the guests were just eating sushi and off the regular menu. The menu has a wide range of eating options that serve sushi, soups, and Hibachi style dining. We ended up getting the grilled lobster, fish, and filet mignon. The dish also came with a clear soup and a small side salad. It also came with grilled shrimp skewers and edamame. Soon after we placed our orders, more guest continued to sit around us and placed their orders as well. Once everyones orders were placed, the chef came to our table and warmly greeted us and began to show his magic on the griddle. The show was quite nice, and he definitely did some amazing tricks cooking for all the guests at once. Once the food was ready to be eaten, he used his spatula to put it on each guests plate from the grill and continued to cook each and everyones food. The fried rice was simple and full of flavor with fluffy eggs and a fire grill aroma. The lobster was buttery and grilled to perfection with a nice snap back when biting into the succulent crustacean. The fish and grilled shrimp were cooked perfectly along with the filet mignon, and all 3 melted in my mouth while I devoured my dinner. The ambiance inside was fast-paced with multiple chefs on different grills. There were flames of fire everywhere you looked, with spatulas hitting the grills. The food was priced fairly, and the service was standard. The portions were decent and were just about the right amount for each set meal. We were also given to go boxes as we left since there was so much food from our meal. This is a great restaurant in the area, and I recommend it to anyone looking for something new to try.

IF I COULD GIVE THIS PLACE A ZERO STAR I WOULD I DONT EVEN KNOW WHERE TO START . this place is messed up all around let s talk about the issues that are basically illegal as in AMY THE MANGER OF THE PLACE has her kids under age working in the back illegally one them is about 9 years old and the other is a taller kid but a bit older and in the state of texas the requirement has to be a certain age (14-16)that s illegal then LIN the supposed manager but overall just a cook although he s not really special but acts like he is likes to drink beer illegally in the back on the job hiding it with some grumpy old guy with a hump on his back and that s just wrong not only that he likes to be really cheap and dirty one time a whole chicken breast was dropped on the dirty kitchen floor we re all the workers walk back and forth all day every day and he just picks it up with his bear hands and continues to deliver it on the chefs cart where it will be fed to CUSTOMERS SAME WIT THE VEGETABLES SO BEWAREEE and lin is racist he has favorites and when dinner is served only certain people he likes gets to eat ceartin foods different from everyone else and every time hes seen he s always pacing around the restaurant doing nothing just wasting his time and others by complaining on the servers and everyone is uncomfortable by him as he likes to just hover over you and do absolutely nothing but complain and he doesn t even know English so there s no point in doing that and overall he shouldn t there but this overall experience as a past worker who is no longer at this establishment I will continue to move on in life but this place certainly caused emotional damage there s so much goin on I can t explain it all but AMY AND LIN HAVE TO BE DEALT WITH BUT THE TEAM IS GREAT EVERYONE DOES THERE PART BUT THE MANAGEMENT IS BAD maybe tee can stay SHES the best I HOPE DANNY THE OWNER DOES SOMETHING INSTEAD OF AVOID THIS REVIEW LIKE HE DOES WITH ALL THE NEGATIVE ONES and I do mean any harm but someone had to speak up. Came to this location because of a recommendation from a local. The place was spotless. Got there when they opened & everyone was cleaning something. The service was really good & attentive. The cool was ok. He seemed kind of new & didnt really seem into it or comfortable with the show of grilled habachi. The food was just ok, but I think it wouldve been better without the teriyaki sauce. He didnt give s choice of having or not having the teriyaki sauce & put so much on it that it masked the taste of the food. We might try it again some time later, but there are better options.

Tonight we went and had dinner and there was a ROACH in one of our kids drinks. We showed our waiter AND another waiter asked what was wrong and we showed him as well. They snatched the cup out of our hands before we could take a picture. We had to wait 30 mins for the manager to arrive to her job. When she finally arrived she was rude and very unhelpful. We asked both waiters could they please explain and they both said that they didnt want to get involved. Do you want to know what the solution was? She had THE GALL to ask us if we wanted her to remove the WATERS from our tab. When we received our bill it had 18% gratuity automatically added. So, basically we paid $145 for a COCKROACH. JUST DONT GO HERE. RUN.

The waiter was juggling both waiter and bartender drink was weak my dinner companion order a tequila shot dressed he received a shot of tequila with a cup of salt on the side.Then there was the cook which the only trick he did was the onion on fire !!! He blamed that he had a hurt elbow.As we sat there a family got sat next to us and a different cook who did ALL kinds of tricks really posed me off like we come do Habachi for the experience .Let me add my dates plate was full of grease from the chicken , rice was hard . We asked for a manger and the only thing manager could say was sorry and next time we come ask for a different cook!! Like really that is your solution !! We came here from a recommendation! The service was wonderful. Our waiter was pleasant and attentive to our needs. We ordered tempura veggies, calamari, and lettuce wraps as appetizers. The tempura veggies were pretty tasty. The calamari had a tempura coating but wasnt crispy. My husband ate it all, but I only had a few pieces as it is a thick cut, and I prefer thinner cuts. The chicken for the lettuce wraps had a decent flavor, but my husband said hed like better cuts of lettuce. Our main course consisted of Chicken Yakisoba, the BEST dish we had! We also ordered Thai Basil Fried rice, which tasted like plain fried rice. I think more basil would kick the flavor up 100%! I had the Georgia Peach roll, which was fresh any he had the Hollywood roll, which was very tasty. The flavors blended well. Overall, we give them a 3.5.

Never been here and my wife and I walked in and the greeter wasnt very informative.I told him 2 times ive never ate here before and instead of explaining and telling me how wonderful the restaurant was and how it works he wanted us to wait cause the dining room was full so I left not knowing what I was waiting for .The Saltgras Steak house want to thank you for your business you turned down.update Mt grandson wanted to eat here today Nov 4 2023 and I forgot about this place we went to sit at the grille and roaches where running all over.Not a lie

I visited the Mansfield location and will not be back. (10/22/2023) It was my grandson birthday and there were around 8 African Americans young men in our party. The lady at the front was so rude. I don t know if she has something against African Americans but she rolled her eyes and continued to watch as if they were doing something wrong. Also, it took 20 minutes before anyone came to take our order and no refills. Please be aware!

Second time we have come here and they haven t done us right. We drove a hour from Cleburne the first time for to go and our meal wasn t right. We called once we got home and they said to come back next time for a free meal. So just left and they wanted to charge us for the entire meal again after driving from Cleburne AGAIN. They were not polite about it at all. Only wanted to comp $4 for missing rice when that was more than what was wrong. They barley speak English and have horrible customer service. Don t waste your money here on poor management.

We were a party of 6. Walked in and told the hostess that it was our sons birthday. I had 2 drinks and had to go and get one of my own drinks from the bar. The chef overcooked the steak. The waiter was so bad that he didnt even bus the table at all. Then the waitstaff never came over to sing Happy Birthday at all. As we walked out, I told the hostess that she forgot to send them over to sing to Happy Birthday and she laughed. Both of the hostesses laughed and rolled their eyes. WOW! We will not be back.

To start off, our Server was just awesome. She made sure that we knew what kind of show we were in for, made sure that our drinks were always topped off, and that we were taken care off. The Chef that cooked the Hibachi for us was amazing and made sure that we got a great show. The food was amazing and would recommend the Yum Yum sauce and Clear Soup for sure. Overall, would definitely come back.

Cant speak about the service or atmosphere. Ordered spicy edamame, house fried rice with shrimp, and OKC sushi roll via UberEats. The food arrived warm and tasted fresh. The spicy edamame wasnt really spicy (to my level). It had some spice but very, very mild. It also needed some salt. Rating: 3/5 The house fried rice was decent. Just needed soy sauce and a little bit of flavor. The shrimp was overcooked. Rating: 4/5 The OKC sushi roll was pretty good. It has shrimp tempura. Didnt realize that they gave me a side of spicy mayo till after the fact. Probably would have made it perfect. Rating: 4.5/5 I would order from here again.

So good, friendly staff, very attentive, great food, fresh and well prepared, reasonably priced, clean bathrooms. What can I say, they obviously care about providing for the customer. Obvious rules, be prepared to have the entire group present before seating, even during a busy evening we were seated VERY fast compared to the long waits elsewhere. Glad to have this place local.

This was the first time weve gone to Sake Hibachi. Our daughter speaks highly of the restaurant both in eating there and doing delivery. We each had different dinners which consisted of steak and shrimp, chicken and steak, calamari and steak, chicken and shrimp. Additionally, he had sushi as an appetizer. The performance was very good as well as cooked well. The food was very tasty and actually impressive. We will return next time we are in the area.

Took my family to eat lunch on the 4th of July at 12 noon for the lunch special. Upon ordering the waiter never mentioned they will not be serving lunch prices but only dinner prices. When I asked what the reason was thy mentioned it was a holiday so they re only serving dinner prices all day. I asked for the manager and they never came out to talk to me but sent the waiter to tell us they will not honor the lunch prices. What a shame to use our Independence Day as a way to make more money and charge double the price.
