**updated to reflect horrible service**Glad I decided to come back and try mod again. Havent been here in months due to an extremely rude manager that wears a bandana and talked rude to his employees and customers. Today the entire staff was calm and cool despite my party having difficult orders. Very professional and great food, when Nathan (I believe thats his name) isnt here....editing again..this place taste amazing but so stingy with toppings everytime...and employees are so rude. Foods amazing employees are horrible as of 9/30/24.

Today, Saturday, we saw a very good option to eat with the family in a pleasant atmosphere, as we have done before at Mod Pizza. But our experience today was so bad, and not because of the food, because it is excellent. But because of one of the people who served us at the counter, a dark-skinned boy who was not at all friendly when ordering. Everything we said to him looked at us with an unfriendly face and no kind of empathy when we spoke to him. If that person doesnt have the charisma to deal with the public, he shouldnt be in that place. I think he would do better as security at a bar. The rest was excellent

My husband and I love MODs but there are definitely areas to improve upon. We went yesterday (Saturday) around 7:30 and it was fairly busy so there we many tables with trash on them and napkins on the floor throughout the dining area. Maybe if they could have one person committed to back of house duties and bussing tables/sweeping every 30 minutes the atmosphere would improve tremendously. Now, it is a pizza oven not a regular 5 minute oven like at a papa john s so if you can have patience with the staff and the cooking process it ll be worth it. There was one girl running the show last night and beating out the rest of the other 5 staff customer service skills by miles! You could tell she s a lead and if not MODs give her a raise!!! As someone who works in customer service I know it can be exhausting but my husband and I were there for over an hour and she was the only person smiling at all Everyone else looked annoyed or like they hated their life Still amazing pizzas though!!

Went in for dinner time at 7pm, only 6 people in front of me & it took 30 minutes just to get to the service part to make the pizzas. Only 2 people making pizzas for dine in at rush time :/ BAD! Also, only gave this 1 star review because the Hispanic young lady that was checking us out for our order had ZERO customer service.. NOTHING positive in her attitude & had no respect for common courtesy towards paying customers. I get it it s busy. But we re paying customers who are NOT miserable and we want GOOD FOOD & GOOD SERVICE with that !! 1/10 for service food is good but they need a manager helping them run this kitchen to maintain good customer service. *burleson location would never treat customers this way*

The food here made me and other co-workers sick with GI issues on more than one occasion. Working here was fun but New management tried to get us to sell knowingly bad produce (recalled cucumbers) The manager also didnt really care about our well-being but this is the kind of expectation set by having people from Chipotle replace the good hard workers they originally had at MOD pizza.

I dont leave reviews almost anywhere but Ive been to this specific mod a few times and every time without fail the people working here are so unfriendly and you can feel that they dont want you to be here. I walk in with zero customers in the store at 10:20 and their finishing their closing duties before serving me. Dont come to this location if your looking for supperfast pizza.

I love this place however the service stinks! I have ordered through the mobile app twice and it takes way too long so I went in to place an order to pick up. There was no one ahead of me no line and it still look 30 mins in total for me to receive my food. There was only one worker who was attentive and onto everyone about customers getting their order. He had to tell the line guy to see if I had been helped, which I didn t. He had to tell someone to check me out and then give me my pizza that I paid for bc i was just waiting after I paid without my food. This is ridiculous had they seriously need new employees or management. Only go here if you are not in a rush and would like to eat there otherwise it s a no for me!

My husband and I felt like having a lazy night in so we ordered some pizza from this location. The order was promised at 7:45, and we arrived at the store shortly before that to wait. Around 8:45, we abandoned hope and asked to cancel the order. They refunded the wrong order. We never got our pizza, and we left.

I visited Mod Pizza in Mansfield, TX, for a quick lunch yesterday, and it was a mixed experience. The place is very spacious, making it a comfortable spot to dine in. I loved the live pizza-making culture they have, where you can watch your pizza being made right in front of you. One of the best things about Mod Pizza is the flexibility with toppings. They never say no to any topping you want to add, which is great for creating your perfect pizza. The sauces they serve with the pizza are also excellent. There are plenty of places to dine in, including an outdoor patio seating area, which is a nice touch. I ordered a pizza, garlic bread, and two desserts Chocolate No Name Cake and Lemonade Cake. I was very satisfied with both the quality and quantity of the food. However, there were some downsides. The tables were dirty, and the restroom was not well-maintained. The young staff seemed to lack experience, and the manager appeared lazy and did not seem to take care of the place sincerely. These issues detracted from what could have been a perfect experience. Overall, Mod Pizza is a decent place for a quick, delicious pizza, but it needs better management and cleanliness.

Just wanted to point out the entire restaurant was much cleaner and better organized than before. I left a 3 star review a few years ago but today the tables were all clean and things moved along well. The pizza has always been pretty good and it was today. Had a picture but after looking at it again it just didnt do the pizza I had justice. The lighting must not have been good. Good job on turning things around guys!

I came in at 10:30p to wait for employee to finish having a conversation, wiping down area with dirty rag, and trash all over the floor. The food is going down hill. I waited over 30 mins just to get home and the bottom of my pizza burnt and ingredients clumped together. Not edible at all.

As first time customers, we are very disappointed with this establishment. We ordered a pizza and a salad. I specifically asked for one of the ingredients on the pizza to only go on half of the pizza; the put it on the entire pizza. I asked for salad dressing with my salad and I got none. I might understand if it was a weekend evening which tend to be a little busier. This is a Wednesday evening. Even still, there is no excuse for this type of poor service. We will not be ordering from this place ever again and will spread the word to family and friends as well.

This was my first time here on 06/16 . I got the Mini Veggie Pizza with original crust, red sauce-light, mozzarella cheese, onions, spinach, jalapenos, red peppers-roasted and a bottle of wine. The veggies were fresh and I asked that my pizza be a little well done. Sorry there is no picture...I forgot...charge it to the wine honey. The staff were friendly. However I did notice that the facilities were not cleaned. There were dirty tables that needed to be cleaned after each patron. When I see that a facility is not taken care of externally, I did not even want to go to the restroom. To add to that, i noticed a homeless woman there, she didnt bother anyone, but she left and came back and went to the restroom. She was in there for about 25 minutes and I am sure it was to tidy up. These kinds of things should be monitored. I hope management read reviews and make improvements.

I was pleasantly surprised with the set up and food quality. I had never been to a Mod pizza before, as I thought it would be like a similar type of restaurant that I do not care for. The place was terribly dirty, the drink vending machines were empty, leaving only the option of drinking sodas, there were no straws or lids for the drinks, the 3 young men who were serving laughed at my husband who spoke in Spanish to one of them because he looks Latino, and the guy left and let the other one serve us without telling us that the other person would serve us, we spoke English, it was involuntary to speak to him in Spanish. At the time of paying they were charging us almost 100 dollars for two pizzas and 4 drinks and the young man left, until we were able to get his attention to correct what he was charging, he came and corrected it. We live in Arlington and we go to that pizzeria because we have liked the atmosphere and the flavor and options for the pizza, this is our third time going, but today (06-01-2024) the service was terrible and we have never found the place as dirty and neglected as today. We conclude that these 3 guys leave the place poorly presented.

Waited in a line with 3 other people in front of us and after 15 minutes of waiting we left to go to Torchys next door (which was great by the way). There were at least 5 people working but were either focused on to go orders or talking to each other. Appeared there was no manager or anyone in charge so not surprised it seemed so unorganized. It s been a minute since I last visited this location. I went in for lunch the other day and the line was long, now granted it was lunchtime so that was expected. However, there was no sense of urgency to get the line down. The employees were moving at a slow pace. There was one employee that was doing online orders moving at the pace of molasses. He also had on pajama bottoms which I don t think is acceptable to wear to work. It was very disturbing.

Edited: This Mods is absolutely terrible. Staff is slow, dont care attitude. Toppings not stocked, cross contamination all over and just filthy. So disappointing considering how good some other locations are. Mods HQ needs to step in and fix this one. And the only reason I came is because I had a free pizza from another bad experience. Just awful. Avoid. I have eaten at a bunch of different Mods locations and I absolutely love the food, the brand and what they stand for. Unfortunately this location has been plagued with quality and service issues since day 1. Incorrect orders, stingy with toppings, soggy pizza, terrible to go service. Thats unfortunate because of the awesome location. Drive 15 extra minutes and go to Midlothian so you get a great experience.

My family of 5 came in on a Sunday evening at 6:30pm. We ended up leaving before we even ordered because of how messy the resturant was and rude the customer service was. Not a single person even looked up to greet us. The first thing an employee said while looking down was How many pizzas?. I don t know why I even came here again, last time I came the pizza was amazing but the second time coming OMG this is what pizza is about now?? It s sad in there. Whole restaurant is dirty. Lets get this straight right up front. The pizza is very good. The ingredients were fresh, and the pizza was tasty. What I didnt care for were the teens in the back making the pizza. They were horsing around, and that shouldnt be done when preparing food for others. I was watching like a hawk to make sure that the people who prepared my pizza wore gloves. Several other people back in the kitchen werent wearing any. Order in person and watch would be my advice at this location.

Ok so I was born in Missouri and there were lots of mod pizzas there and they were faboulus at least 4 stars on everything but I noticed mod pizzas down here in Texas in pretty bad at every location like the employees look like there haveing fun but they are so slow mod says they are super fast and they are in Missouri. It was so slow like snail pase moveing and pretty bad overall I would not waste my money here instead go to mister O1 extraordinary pizza it s much cheaper in this place if you really want to look at this place in my other review about it

First time visiting. Pizza was great! I ate half of it before I remembered to take a picture. The young lady who was making my pizza yesterday afternoon was nice and patient with me. She exhibited excellent customer service. I would give an higher rating for the atmosphere. The dirty tables, overflowing trash, and lack of tidiness in the kitchen area definitely need improvement. The person folding pizza boxes could have quickly wiped tables, put out trash and continued folding pizza boxes. Unfortunately, I needed to use their dirty restroom.

Stopped here on a road trip to get some dinner. Been to MOD many times before. The guys making the pizza/salad were extremely slow and did not know what they were doing. Line was out the door, took 30minutes to get our food from walking in. I had to explain to the guy how the salad was made usually. Took the guy about 4-5 minutes just to make the pizza to send to the oven. Luckily the food came out good still. Need to retrain the employees at this location.

Went to the store today for lunch and it was closed. Posted store hours say it open at 10:30 AM. However, at 11:15 AM the store was closed and doors were locked. No sign was posted on the door. I called the store number three times to try to figure out if they were going to be open and the first two times I was hung up on. The third time when I finally got through to someone, they were extremely rude and informed me that the store was closed as they did not have staff to open. I told them they should put a sign on the door to let people know that as many customers went up to the door to try to come in for lunch to find out the door was locked and walked away. I got a very rude response from the employee saying that they were not allowed to do that. I then asked for a manager and was told there was not one on site. I said I would call back later and would like to speak to a manager. What is the name of a manager I could speak to was told for safety reasons they were not allowed to give out the managers name. This is ridiculous if your store is not gonna be open for whatever reason or or another, have the decency to put a sign on the door so people coming in we know the stores closed .

Honestly, I normally have good experiences with MOD. Tonight was a different story. There were only two people in line in front of us, and it took 48 minutes for them to get to us. They were just focusing on Togo orders. I get it. They have to do those too, but I counted them doing 3 in that 48 minutes. So, it took a team of 5 or 6 people 48 minutes to make 6 or 7 pizzas? That doesnt make sense. It seemed like the guy who started our pizza was the only one really working. There was a guy just making crusts, another one just standing by a bunch of boxes, and then the girl at the register was just waiting around. 5 stars for the one worker who was busting his hump, but the rest need to get it together. Then, at the end, it asked if I wanted to leave a tip. No? This isnt a restaurant. Its fast casual dining, minus the fast. Why would I leave a tip for you doing the basics of your job? If they were actually fast and cheerful, absolutely I would. Then when I didnt tip (because the service sucked), the girl at the register rolled her eyes at me. Okay... maybe you should be helping to earn it. On top of that, it was absolutely FREEZING. I am sitting here right now in jeans and my entire family is complaining that it is cold.

My fiancée, sister-in-law, and her friend came in 10:45 pm (15 minutes before closing). Been in retail myself and now I do Loss Prevention for the same company I started in retail with, 13 years total. Your store hours say open until 11 pm. Your Caucasian female employee mouthed I m not helping them to her coworkers and stuff such as I m scheduled until 11, I m leaving at 11 , I should have locked the door and made their pizzas with the most disdainful look. It wasn t difficult to say it to them instead of throwing indirect shots at your customers. Your Caucasian male employee also obviously didn t want to assist them. At least the pizzas tasted great to save a few stars. Obviously nobody is going to walk in at 10:59 pm. It was 10:45 pm. They even ate inside their car being considerate it was already late. Get your employees with terrible, pathetic attitudes out of there. I wouldn t want employees like him or her working for the company I work for, either. The only DECENT employees were the two African American gentlemen who were kind enough to let them order in peace without a bad look or anything like that.

Edit: my son talked me into giving them another try and it was much better! Still have an issue with cleanliness of the tables, but service was dramatically improved and they were pretty busy. I placed an order through the app before leaving Grand Prairie. The drive was 15-20 minutes and I figured it would be ready by the time I arrived. When I walked in, I was surprised by what I saw considering I haven t visited in a couple of years. The majority of the tables were dirty. Trash cans overflowing. Trash on the floor I had to step around. An employee pulled out a wash rag from a bucket and soapy water spilled out all over the floor, splashing near my feet as I stood in the designated pickup area. Then he was taking that same rag and trying to shove the trash that obviously needed to be taken out farther into the can with the wet wash rag, soaking the empty pizza boxes that people had thrown away. It was odd. One of the employees asked what I was there for. Pick up for Julie , I said. They went over and saw the ticket and started making my pizza, chuckling and talking. Then another employee came over and said it will be 5 minutes. There were no other orders in front of mine. There were maybe 5 people in the store eating. It was 2 hours til they closed. Pizza was sloppily made, not like it used to be. The cheese was heavy as if it was dumped on there. There were ingredients on one of my pizzas that weren t supposed to be on there. This place has gone downhill and I won t be back until some changes are made.

Ive been here multiple times. Over the past couple years Ive noticed a steady decline. I used to love coming here because the staff was friendly, and it was clean. Good atmosphere=good food. Unfortunately, tonight was my last straw. Walking in, the trash bin outside was overflowing. I figured maybe they forgot to take it out. The staff was friendly and made sure our pizzas were made right. Getting our drinks together was not ideal. The lids were in a bag next to the dispenser, and the straws were nowhere to be found in the drink area. They were in a box at the pizza pick up. In looking for everything, we noticed the trash inside was overflowing too. Looking for seats, there was trash on the floor and the tables were dirty. I love this place and Im sad to see such a lack of care and negligence. Because of everything in the atmosphere, we just lost our appetite. I hope if I ever come back, its back to its former glory.

I like how you can build you own personal pizza and they many opt available for any diet. I made my own pizza and got the reg crust which was thin and airy but had little to no flavor. The cheese bread was same I wish they added garlic or butter to crust to add flavor. The No name cake taste like a little Debbies Swiss roll- which you can t go wrong with. One thing I noticed was the poor service. The cooks there were unhelpful and lack in customer service skills. The whole time I got the feeling I was unwelcome and an inconvenience to the employees. Based on other reviews I believe this is a common issue with this location, because of this I will not be coming back.

This is probably one of the worst places to eat in Mansfield. We went last night and the 4 person team was overwhelmed for sure. When we asked if they could put their focus on us - the paying customer - they didnt even attempt to acknowledge our concern. I been to this store since it open. Now you don t know what you going to get. Tonight was the last straw. When I walked in the pizza maker was rude, but I over looked it. Why she was taking my order she keep asking what I would want on my pizza, since they didn t have many toppings on the right make line, so I would have to look on the the left side. I told her I can just purchase the pizza she said NO NEXT TIME YOU NEED TO LET US KNOW WHEN YOU HAVE MORE THAN ONE FREE PIZZA. I was again said I can just pay for the pizzas. She said no it okay. I asked for a bag for my salad and she seemed like she didn t want to give me a bag. As I bagged my salad up she went on the side of the oven telling them I had no money and just wanted to use my reward for free pizzas. Not thinking if a person have over 300 points they must be spending money with MOD to get that many points at once. I try to overlook the rudeness of the employee, but this have drawn the line. I will be taking my business to Blaze Pizza where the restaurant is clean and I m respected as a customer. I called back to get the young lady name Grace and she said she was the manager and still had the same attitude. The pizza and No Name Cakes are really good. Staff needs to keep the serving tubs from getting messy and prevent toppings from falling into other topping tubs. They also need to clear/clean the tables, floors, and patio frequently. This is my second time dinning at MOD Pizza and it was great! I absolutely looovveee the Tristan. It is a Pesto pizza that you can build with whatever toppings you would like. I get all the original ingredients plus arugula, chicken, serrano peppers, and mushrooms. You can never go wrong with getting ranch on the side to dip it in. Highly recommend for a quick lunch break! On July 21, 2023 I took my son for his 29th birthday my daughter and her two kids and my boyfriend to eat dinner at mod pizza. The kids behind the counter were doing a really good job. After ordering the Mod pizza & the server put the red sauce on the doe he said they were out of the shredded cheese & ask what toppings I would like. I ask how could you be out of cheese & he said the container is empty. I ask if there was any cheese in the back where they store the extra ingredients. He said no they were out of cheese. Next to get a table & not one table was clean. I ask for a wet towel to clean a table so I could clean a table & the pizza cutter gave me one. The assistant manager was standing next to the pizza cutter & didnt even offer to clean a table. Our pizzas were very good just took way to long to get them. I will add the mens restroom was filthy & I let the assistant manager know as we were leaving. This us the second time in a row Ive had a bad experience at this location. Probably wont be back.

This is probably the dirtiest I ve ever seen a Mods!! I frequent a lot of Mods locations but this one, by far, the dirtiest I ve encountered. I almost left but I had already ordered my pizza before I got around to the mess. Every table was dirty. The ladies room was ungodly nasty! Not stocked with tissue in any stall, urine all over the floor and toilet seats, and tissue scattered all over the floor. The sink is leaking and runs down the wall puddling at the floor corner. The staff didn t greet anyone as they come in and I stood at the register waiting to pay and my food came out before anyone acknowledged me at the register. The staff was also eating and drinking behind the counter, which in my opinion, is very unprofessional and unsanitary. Teenage employees with no one in charge, act like you are interrupting their day by ordering food, rolling eyes, all have ear buds in tuning you out, won t empty trash or clean tables, etc. the male that works there in the evening both times just likes to yell loudly over and over for one of his co workers. This location has become less ideal to get MOD pizza due to a lack of customer service, lack of training, and shortage of staff. This has caused employees to argue amongst themselves, lowered the quality of its food, and affected the efficiency of the food being made. I used to love this place, having the option of dairy-free cheese and pick as many toppings is great. I placed my order Tuesday evening, June 13th and was very disappointed. The food was ok but the service was not. When I arrived at this location, every trash bin was full of pizza boxes, the ice machine had ice all over, there were no cup lids, and when I asked the guy by the online orders about my pizza he pretty much ignored us the first time we asked. Im not sure if they hired a new crew but the customer service was not there. There were 2 other customers just standing trying to figure out what was going on while the employees seem to mind their own business with little to no regard to the line of customers waiting to be helped. One of my orders was not even on the online shelf but next to the guy cutting the pizza up for at least 8 minutes. I left this location very disappointed having spent an extra 15-20 minutes to pick up an online order even showing up 10 minutes after the time of pick up. I even forgot to ask about my dessert which was also not with my order on the shelf. I wouldnt spend my money here until they have a meeting or something with the team to fix these issues and can provide the customer services that is expected. I will be visiting the competitor moving forward even if its a few minutes of a longer driver for now.

Called MOD to attempt to fix this (as they cooked and packed the order) was told because we doordashed it wasnt their problem- even though its their franchise and employees that assemble the order.
