Always friendly staff as you are treated like a regular! The steak melted in your mouth! The bread is to die for. The veal is fresh which is hard to find. The lemoncello cake is a must get! I dont like lemon neither does my sister who I forced to try. I got the cake in a to go container but it was eaten up with help from the 3 that said they didnt want dessert!

Prices on their site are way different from the menu when you go to pick up your food. Talked to the Mgr. and she didnt want to honor their web prices. Thats very deceiving way of doing business. I have been a customer of them for years. But after this encounter, I will no longer go there anymore. I wonder if the owner knows about this pricing procedures.

We recently ate here for the first time. The service was very slow and our waitress was MIA overall. Even people busting tables and refilling water was MIA and just standing around. We had to mostly rely on another waitress to help us out. The food was pretty bland and a little too hot to eat. We did notice they tend to use a lot of garlic so be ready for that! The restaurant was nice inside overall but the bathrooms were disgusting.

I have never received customer service this poor. I placed an order through Door Dash and the order was incorrect and was missing half my order last night (7/1/24). I spoke with a staff member who connected me with a manager when I called La Gondola about my order. The manager was not helpful and insisted on referring me back to Door Dash for what she admitted was an error on her staff s part. My order was clearly listed on the receipt attached to the bag that carried only half the order and failed to substitute an item for which I certainly was charged and upcharge. The manager did not offer -and would not entertain- any solutions that would result in my family getting what we paid for. Door Dash eventually helped to an extent but, I was thoroughly disappointed with the terrible service and lack of accountability on the part of a manager! It really is a shame because the food here is pretty good but not worth the lack of quality service.

Overrated. Waited OVER AN HOUR for my food to arrive. She kept telling me she was going to check on my food every 15 minutes then would disappear. After the hour mark, i started to feel my food was being skipped and other orders with a party of 2 or more were being prioritized. (Yes i was lone.) i finally inquired about my order and mentioned to the waitress that the people next to me ordered at the same time I did and left 55 Minutes ago. Her excuse was Oh their order was easy to make WUUUUT????? I was starving at this point. Anywho, NOT EVEN A DISCOUNT ON MY CHECK OR ANYTHING.

I sat at the table by the bar and Savanah waited on me. Im in town to open up the new HEB and am huge on service. Although it was busy the food came out amazing. Flavor was amazing presentation and some cute guy came around who was also working the bar to check on me and be friendly. My favorite part that made me feel at home was the musician playing. I have no complaints except we need a secondary location in Waco Texas! I love that everything is made basically from scratch-per the good looking guy who informed me. I was able to notice as soon as I took a bite of my fettuccine prosciutto pasta. Food was to die for and so was my express martini. 10 out of 10 recommend!

We ordered this on Door Dash. It was our first time eating La Gondola.. I d say the food was more like a 3.5 pretty good.. you get a good amount. It was package well and hot. I had the lasagna bolognese and I thought it was tasty, but a bit greasy.. the Cesar salad had too much dressing and was wilty and tasted a bit like dill pickles.. the bread was flat.. too much butter and and chewy.. more like store bought. My husband had spaghetti and meatballs and thought the meatballs tasted a bit weird. He liked the lentil soup. The tiaramisu was ok.. actually better the next day. And so the hunt continues for a really good Italian restaurant..

Restaurant allowed guest to smoke cigarettes next to me and my 2 young sons under 5. My husband asked management to handle and they refused so we had to leave ourselves. We wasted a $200+ (this place isnt cheap) dinner that was just brought out due to not wanting to sit in a bar scene with our children. Spoke to assistant manager about our issue on phone and in person. She assured me general manager would call to handle. Ive given plenty of time- 3 weeks. Very unhappy. Cannot recommend this establishment any longer. We were flabbergasted that they allowed the smoker to sit there next to two young children at a non smoking establishment and then allowed us to pay $200 for a dinner we couldnt consume. Seriously?! Our only request was to remove smokers who came over after we sat down and started lighting up. I guess they wanted their lifetime business more than my familys. Problem is, weve been going to this restaurant since it was Italian Villa at a different location. We have always enjoyed it and are pretty disappointed in the whole situation and how little they cared. Kid-friendliness: Absolutely not. They allow smokers to sit there and smoke around your kids. Do not take them here.

First & last visit here. To start off me, my husband & daughter walked in at 745, we were sat immediately, even with the hesitation that we did not have reservations. Waited over 10 minutes for server to come so we could order. Order was in by 8pm, at this point the restaurant was over half empty and all but the 2 tables sat after us had their food. A table of 6 was sat after us and had their food before ours. At 845 the server stopped by to say our food would be out shortly, to which I asked if they were making fresh pasta back there and he chuckled and said no. I then didnt see him again until our food came out. And then didnt see him again until we were done and asked if we wanted desert. On this Friday night it was very, actually extremely loud. There was a guy playing live music, I personally saw 3 different instruments. It would have been amazing if the volume was about half of what it was. My husband couldnt hear my 9 year old across the table. The croud was ALL older. Easily 55+. And so were all the other servers I saw except ours. For fettuccine chicken Alfredo it was $20 bucks. The Alfredo sauce was veery liquidy. I had to completely turn over my entire bowl just to get sauce on each bite. Extremely minimal chicken, maybe 5 strips... for $4 !?! I hate to say it.. Olive garden is cheaper and tastes so much better! My husband got the zucchini soup and I nearly spit my half out.. there was o taste of any vegetable, but pure cream. I was actually to sweet to be a soup, creamy, absolutely, but flavorless. My daughter had the kids cheese ravioli... and it came with T H R E E ravioli. No sides, no desert, just 3 ravioli for $8 dollars ! I was speechless... she had to eat some of mine to get full. The nail in the coffin was when I was upcharged for 2 items and NOT told about it ahead of time when ordering. If there will be an additional charge of ANY amount, EVERY single business needs to let the customer know ahead of time, so they can decide if they would like to order something else.

We were having a nice dinner on the patio with our children until a couple of ladies from the bar decided to come smoke next to our kids. I asked the staff and they said someone removed the no smoking sign and refused to ask them to move. Our food had just arrived so we had to get it to go and spilled our drink in the food so it was ruined and we didnt eat. The bill was $100 and we still had to go eat fast food after. We were told GM was going to call but still havent heard anything so please be aware of this place and the lack of respect towards children and families.

I LOVE THIS PLACE!! My family & I went a few nights before Halloween, this year, and had the best time! We all did! The guy, who sang & played multiple instruments, was funny, friendly & incredible talent. The food, was awesome, of course, and everybody was wearing great costumes. We had fantastic customer service. Weve been there a few times before. It IS a little costly, but worth it. Its also a little difficult to find, in Mansfield. Bon Appétit!! Parking: The parking lot DOES get filled by 7-8 p.m. Eventually parking opens up. Parking places in front of the restaurant are very few & I believe most of it is for the handicap. Parking on the right side is pretty good, but prime time gets fixed fairly fast. If you can, either go quite early, like when they 1st open that evening and later in the evening, like 8:30 p.m. and 9:00 p.m., & later. I hope that helps. Kid-friendliness: It REALLY is for adults (especially since they have a bar). I havent seen any young kids there, in the 4 times, we have been there. If the kids are teenagers, then they would probably enjoy it, but not little guys & gals. Im going back to the restaurant. With my family & a close-knit group of friends. ENJOY!in a few days for my birthday.

Everything about this place was just average except the dessert. It was great. I ordered the Limoncello and the Creme Brulee. I got the Creme Brulee and Tiramisu. It took 30 minutes to get and I ordered it three different times before it came out. So not great service but they were a little busy so it wasnt a huge deal we ate it and they were both amazing. Our meals were just okay. They werent hot just lukewarm. But again they were busy so maybe on a regular day it wouldve been better. The only problem I had with the whole experience was the host. I was dressed up cause I normal do when I go out to eat but my husband and his friend were dressed down one in a sweater and jeans the other in basketball shorts and a long sleeve. Nothing too bad. But the host kept looking at them and making faces and sat tons of other people ahead of us. I wanted to give it a 2 star because of how rude she was but I know the host is a come-and-go position so I didnt knock it down too much for that. But I would suggest placing a more people friendly less judgemental host there. Cause she ruined the experience enough where I would never feel comfortable going back.

I boxes the whole plate and told her I was taking home because I don t want to seem like I was trying to get something for free and as I m texting this I m realizing that they got my money for free. My party and I had a reservation at 7:30 on Friday July 28th. We we were seated immediately but we were told the kitchen was behind and that it would take longer than usual to be served. The sever took out drink order and tried his best to keep our glasses full, however, we never expected to be waiting for our food for an hour and half. On top of that the primavera fettuccine I order didn t have any flavor at all and the sauce was liquidity. I asked them to add chicken and was charged for it. After tasting the food and not being satisfied with the flavor, I didn t even noticed it didn t even have chicken. I didn t return the dish out of respect for our friends who invited us to join them at this place. I was expecting a different experience than the first time I ate there, but unfortunately it was worst. The atmosphere was good and the server tried his best that s why I m giving these 3 stars. As far as the food goes it s a 0 for me.

I have eaten here for the past 8 plus years and usually receive exceptional service. The food is usually great as well. Not sure what happened this evening but we were seated promptly and waited over 25 minutes without a waitor or waitress coming to our table. Definitely not a good indicator of how the service might have been the rest of the night. So, we left and went elsewhere. Might be a while before we return again. Very disappointed.

What the heck did you put in the creme brulee?!? My wife is allergic to aspartame, and whatever you used instead of sugar is currently giving her a migraine. Dietary restrictions: Whatever they put in the dessert, its not sugar.

I am now kicking myself that I have lived less than a mile away from this restaurant for the last 20 years and have never visited it previously. The service was outstanding and it had one of the most varied menus I have seen for an Italian restaurant with some dishes you would not find at other places like Olive garden. The food was exceptional and the chef or chefs deserve any praise that they receive. It is more of a fine dining restaurant although there was a good deal of loud casual conversation from nearby tables. I wouldnt expect to have a very quiet and relaxed conversation as the small space plus the popularity of the restaurant probably means that the noise level is going to be a bit higher. If you are an older person that has trouble distinguishing the speech of someone nearby from the speech of others, this restaurant will be a challenge for you. But in spite of the noise problem, you will not be disappointed by the food. I cant wait to go back and try some more appetizers at this restaurant. There were so many excellent choices, that it was difficult to choose just one appetizer. In fact, we chose to and they were both wonderful. This will now become a frequent selection for the date night that my wife and I have kept for most of the 43 years of our marriage.

Eaten here several times and it never disappoints. The GM and Assistant managers always verify our experience is excellent when able as they cruise about the dining area each night along with our servers efficiency. We planning a big event of over 30 people and the GM personally ensured all reasonable expectations and needs were going to be met beforehand. Cant wait to see how the event turns out. We are looking forward to another elegant evening with this slightly hidden Italian gem.

We had planned to try La Gondola for my birthday in August. But our move in September messed up our plans. In the end, in March, we booked a table for my wifes birthday. It was worth the wait. La Gondola is in a strip mall where Kroger is. Be careful while entering and exiting as Debbie Lane is a busy street. Youll find plenty of parking space. We booked a table for 5 PM on a Friday night through Google. The restaurant was busy when we arrived, and it only became busier later. No doubt, its a popular restaurant. My wife ordered the Rollatino and a side of vegetables. I had the Gamberi-alla-Pizalolla with a side of vegetables. She had Minestrone soup. I had Cream of Asparagus soup. We didnt have any appetizers as the garlic bread was enough. Fun facts: Marco Polo brought pasta from China to Italy. Then Thomas Jefferson brought it to the US. My wifes Minestrone soup was delicious and light. My soup was good but not outstanding. The garlic bread was fresh and addictive. The Rollatino was excellent. The chicken was flawless, and the flavors were fantastic. The Gamberi-alla-Pizalolla was delicious as well. The marinara sauce was superb. We didnt order any pasta. The side vegetables were fresh and well-prepared. We finished off with a Tiramisu. It was light and not sugary. The service was excellent. When I paid, I had forgotten my credit card. The waiter made a special effort to bring it to our car. La Gondola is the finest Italian restaurant in Tarrant County. Well be back. Parking: Strip mall anchored by Kroger Kid-friendliness: Saw some nearby tables

I guess it would ve been so bad waiting so long but I was the only person, and would not come back.that had to be at work at 6 am the next morning and still another hour to drive home. I would not recommend this restaurant at all

Went with some good friends and had a very nice meal and evening. Bruschetta started off things with some of the wine. Lots to choose from. And everything sounded good. But tasted even better. The lentil soup was very flavorful and the French onion some of the best is what I heard. Chicken, Alfredo and Parmigiana some of the orders all did not disappoint. Service was great. And that garlic bread, fogetaboudit. Creme boule to finish was very smooth creamy and nice hard sugar shell. Will definitely be back.

Great Italian restaurant. The house Italian dressing on the salad was different but delicious. I had the chicken parmigiana with pasta...it was very good. Our waiter was on point the whole time - not so easy since we were a party of ten on a Friday evening. Give this place a try if you are in the area and like Italian.

Tried it on a whim. Place is too dark unless youre at the bar. Server not knowledgeable enough about food and drink. I had linguini Shrimp Scampi, house salad with Italian dressing and Kendall Jackson chardonnay. The best part of the meal was the Kendall Jackson. The shrimp and salad dressing may have been tasty but I couldnt tell because they were over salted. Will not be back. Dietary restrictions: Dont eat here if you are on a salt restricted diet.
