Ive ordered burgers several times with this outfit and todays was so greasy the fries were dripping with grease, I threw the mess away it was a 25.00 Uber purchase. We really enjoy going to Applebees. My wife and I, generally, have the same thing when we go. She gets the quesidea-burger and I get the Hickory-Smoked Whiskey Cheese Burger. No matter Where we go, we are creatures of habit.... we find what we like...stick with it... and we don t usually branch out much. WE GO BACK and this restaurant is an enjoyable place to visit. There is plenty of parking, and, all the times We have gone, Very Little, if any waiting time. I hate having to WAIT, WAIT THEN WAIT for a table. RECOMMENDED place to rest your feet , or your Bones, for a good a reasonably-priced meal. As you well know..... THOSE ARE HARD TO FIND NOW A DAYS !!!!

Me and my family ate at Applebees this past week and the service and food was definitely a lot better than the last time we came a few months ago. Lexi the waitress was pleasant and very attentive, a long with the manager Robert. Ive never seen a manager like Robert there being attentive to all the customers and being supportive to the staff. Very good experience, we will definitely go back.

I truly love this Applebees. I order the same thing every time the grilled chicken. I have been a vegetarian for years so me saying the grilled chicken is amazing Im not playing. They always make it juicy well seasoned it literally melts in your mouth. I am in love with their Blondie it is the best thing on the menu its served hot with a scoop of icecream. HEAVEN. The bartenders are not stingy with the alcohol in your drink their drinks never disappoint. The only thing is it takes forever to be seated and this I have noticed is a recent issue. Maybe they just need to hire more people, if I could get seated faster I would give 5 stars.

We have been to Applebees many times. This time, may end us going back. First of all, there seemed to be only two waiters and one host, who kept going in and out of the kitchen. Secondly, the food was okay, nothing special. Thirdly, it was very apparent that our waiter had not bathed and chose not to use any deodorant... It may have been that some of the employees didnt show up to work, so others had to do multiple jobs. The entire atmosphere was more of that Applebees was on its last legs.

This is by far the worst Applebees I have been to. Took too long to be seated when the location was near empty. We waited over an hour for food BUT a friend of an employee came in after, and got their food before my family. Our drinks ran out and we never got refills. My fathers chicken was like a brick My kids Mac and cheese was cold. Extremely dirty location. Provocative music playing in a family friendly food establishment. Last but not least, I am currently in the sticky dirty bathroom because the food made me sick. Wont be returning.

UPDATE; I contacted Applebees national customer service in July 23 2024 and the lady looked my google review and today July 24th the pole is still there see newest photo below. I drive by this place everyday and it hardly ever has more than a couple cars in the lot. Personally never been a fan but, this light pole has been laying in their lot for 3 days with broken glass all over the lot and they have not cleaned it up. I would imagine there s live wiring also exposed.

This restaurant is pretty run down already. The corner booth we were put at had crayon scribbles all over the wall. the restaurant was almost empty like 2 other tables were there...and wasnt even the cleanest floor from the night before. That made me cringe thinking about the kitchen and who was cooking my food. And hate to rag on our waiter but man he made the dining experience even worse. He was a bit awkward. kind and all but didnt look presentable with his long beard and long greasy hair but he didnt smell good either it was very disturbing since he was coming over and handling our food. And the food was good....mine was anyways but Forgot my order of fries....my friend had chicken tenders and they werent good very hard. all and all I like Applebees food but not this location!!!

0/10 Worst experience ever. Went at around 10:30pm last night and waited 45 minutes for our food and come to find out our waiter didn t even put our order in so the cook couldn t start. There was 3 tables that had people in it and the manager wouldn t seat us. The whole restaurant was practically empty and we couldn t be seated. Also the waiter was rude and kept telling me to order off the kids menu after I told her the first time I m about to be 19. 2/3 other tables had a horrible experience as well and our waiter had those tables too and didn t get any of their orders right and charged them for stuff they didn t get and gave their food to someone else the first time. Also it took our waiter 25 minutes to refill my dad s Mountain Dew. And every time we looked over she was on her phone. Not going back ever again! The restaurant barely had any customers, but our wait time to be seated was 20 min. In fairness, they were very short staffed. I noticed that other partrons had some issues with their orders. Our waitress, Cassondra, was was very sweet and friendly. She took our order right away. We did, however, have to ask for silverware and napkins. When our food arrived, the french fries werent very hot. But the rest of our food was very good. My 3 rating is due to the the lack of staffing. I dont fault those who were there working. Thats a management issue.

Had an issue with the plate our appetizer was severed on. Let our server know he didnt come back to collect the plate. So i took it to them. Noone knew what we ordered which was odd because he repeated it before he took it to the back. So after waiting over 30 minutes for our food and listening to everyone playing the blaming games i decided we just needed to go somewhere else. I was told to call the following day to speak with the head guy and he would fix it i did he said he would fix it needless to say he didnt he has been blowing it off which is fine because we will never vist this location in the future. We walked in the door at 10pm and were greeted with jokes about the size of our group (8) that weren t very funny. We were told the wait would only be roughly 25-30min and were ok with that. A few minutes later he came and told us it would be 45min now. Seemed a little weird because there were a lot of open tables. After he made a few comments to other guest (a group of three) out loud referring to the size of our group, we decided to leave. The reason for the 5 stars on the food is because we love our Applebee s in Roswell, NM.

Nastiest food I ve ever had. The queso was literally thrown in the microwave, burnt on the the side of the bowl. The salad was wilted. The buns to my burger was stale and hard all the way around. And on top of that the service was piss poor. It took my server 15 mins to show up. When I addressed it to the manager Timothy informing him I m not complaining to get anything free or a discount he decided to try and correct me with the wait being 45 mins only and let me inform you that the restaurant wasn t even a quarter full. I can tell you now, Rebecca J saved this from a 1 star review. Came in at 12:15. Having worked in the food industry, I know some last minute people is always an annoyance, but 45 minutes before closing with even telling them I could take it to go should be a staple thing. I waited at the front door for 30 minutes. 2 other guys also came in, but they only waited for about 5 minutes before leaving. No greeting. No One moment from any staff...anything. And the Bartender looked right at us without a word, then just vanished. After awhile I just grabbed a menu from the front area and sat down. When I saw Rebecca, I got her attention and she told me that they were just going to tell the people at the front that no more orders, but one more was okay. This is where I even told her I could take it to go but she said it was okay. She was nice and helped take my order. Food came out and tasted good. Fish was slightly cold but not a deal breaker. Mac & Cheese was very good and the mashed potatoes were tasty. Overall, the reason for the lower rating was for the lack of service for 30 minutes, being ignored by staff, and basically had to sit myself and flag down the waitress. Maybe a bit on my end for showing up at 12:15, but still believe that was plenty of time, where even after finally sitting down and eating (30 minute after again) I was still gone by 1:10 am.

My experience being there, I walked in, and the greeter was very rude. Did not speak the very angry so that already created a bad atmosphere around there. Bartender wasn t very talkative, and our waiter was rude really didn t speak at all served us our food, and we sat there almost 10 minutes with no silverware, the steak that my daughter had look like it had been cut from my steak I took pictures. I would not recommend going to this place! We waited to be seated by the manager who had a bad attitude he said he only had two servers so had no where for us to sit but seated us anyway. There were two people behind the bar and two servers. We waited about 20 mins and never were we greater by a server. But the server had time to go chum around qith his friends at the bar. We just walked out. I was really excited to go there for the special. We live in Snyder and went to Lubbock just for this restaurant. What a let down. Nicholas was a good server; food was not what I remembered and was looking forward to. Steak was overcooked and tough, shrimp was old and re-grilled which made it not too tasty; the mashed were barely warm as was the broccoli; the mushroom sauce I asked for on a side bowl was thrown under my steak which had to have been the last bits/pieces scraped out of the pan (waiter said they had just run out). So so disappointed!

We had a lovely experience, sat in a quiet spot. Our waitress, was the goat n wore little bells. Cant remember her name but she was a sweetheart. They were a little short staffed I think and wait was a little long not much but the staff n food was worth the wait.

Food as always was great. The staff on the other hand was not so great. I was ignored by everyone and left to wonder do I seat myself or do I wait. There was one little bartender that was busy but took time to come check on me, I wish I wouldve asked your name. Very sweet young Hispanic girl that works dinner service, thank you for helping me out of a very awkward situation and keeping me from walking out the door.

Traditionally the food was great, husband and I ate dinner and had drinks Under $40! Reason for the Low stars for this location was the service. Only 2 servers. Had to wait for our drink order that were delivered to the table just before our dinner arrived. Bartender was trying to help seat customers and wait on them in his section. We had to address the staff to seat some elderly that had waited so long they say down themselves. Watched other customers get frustrated waiting to be served. I will say our waiter was friendly but was slow in retrieving simple items. Seemed very distracted.

Walked in and no one greeted us or offered to seat us even though the place was mostly empty and I could see 3 employees who were just standing around. Later I saw this same thing happen to the next people who walked in. When I went to the bathroom the hostess was in there on a facetime call with her friend. So I guess thats why she doesnt do her job. Also the bathroom was even dirtier than gas station bathrooms. Actually the whole restaurant is disgusting. We had to wave down a waiter to get a refill on our drinks but then they never did so we got a second waiter finally to do it. We also couldnt find anyone to bring our check when we were ready to pay. Had to walk around the place looking for someone to ask. There are hundreds of bad reviews on here I wish Id read beforehand. If hundreds of people say the same bad things about a place for years, then they are fully aware of their issues and choose not to fix any of it. Do not eat here.

Completely honest review of entire visit. We showed up around 5:45 ish? Maybe 6:00 PM there was maybe 5 or 6 tables taken and we were told it would be a 15 min wait because they only had 3 servers. We left and came back 30 seconds later and he told us that we could be seated now. We sat down the waitress was nice enough. Drinks were slow to come out. We ordered our food and they completely forgot about our appetizer. Our friends food came out at a decent speed (not fast but not slow) while we still waiting on ours. 15 min later after our friends had finished we got ours still no appetizer even though we brought it up several times. My boyfriends burger was raw. And they had brought me the wrong sauce. The fries looked undercooked but tasted good. We finally got our appetizer after we paid. Then this morning I woke up super sick. Safe to say I would ve rather eaten McDonald s, but hard to beat dollaritas.

Service was super slow we waited over 2 hours for us to be seated after being told by the host that there was a 45 minute wait as we watched multiple people come in and sit themselves towards the bar area after being told by the host that we could not sit there and we had to wait for a table. The manager there on duty she might have been the GM finally came out and started gathering a waiting list we waited about an extra 45 minutes before we were finally seated while there were multiple tables empty, we finally were able to order from the bar which took another 30 minutes as the bartender didn t want to do his job. The only good part of this entire visit was our waitress maryisa who was fabulous & kept us updated on our orders! Other than that I would not recommend this establishment and they definitely need to be closed down/trained properly. We had to even call the manager there on duty over to our table as we were wondering what was taking so long with our drinks from the bar she was very helpful and made sure our drinks were out 2 minutes later. The host was unhelpful and had no idea what was going on. The food was mediocre not worth the money we spent there! I will not be returning to this apple bees! The bathroom was also horribly kept and it reeked of pee! Toilets were dirty floor was extremely wet

Service was so slow. There were only 4 other tables and it took us 20 minutes to even get asked what we would like to drink. The waitress was nice but didnt ever come to check if we needed anything. Our appetizer (spinach artichoke dip) was freezing like it was fresh out of the fridge...we ordered a drink from the bar and it was so watered down. This location has really gone downhill, it used to be so packed and so good and now its just a last choice for us. Sad.

The only good thing was the waiter. I ordered pasta and my girlfriend ordered a burger. The pasta was garbage. Watery and undercooked the burger was subpar. I left a good tip cause the waiter was good but i genuinely felt like I wasted my money on the food here and had to come home and eat something else to get the aftertaste out of my mouth. See the problem is Applebees is trying to have too many styles of food in a menu which makes everything suck rather than being good at one thing. Just donate the money to a good cause instead of spending it here and you would feel much better about it.

Im guessing the Lubbock location is tragically understaffed. We went at 3 pm on a Saturday, there were 4 tables with customers on one side of the bar and 2 tables on the other side of the bar. The host sat us on the 2 table side, and we waited 40 minutes before leaving because not a single staff member came to our table to check on me and my daughter. There was 1 bartender, 1 manager, 2 waiters, and I dont know about the kitchen staff. The manager and 1 waiter walked by our table multiple times but never stopped to ask if we needed drinks or food. This is my 3rd experience with having to wait over 30 min for service at this location, but usually, they offer drinks while we wait.
