It s been two years since I have been here. Tonight ( June 13, 2024) the food was terrible and my waiter couldn t understand English. The Eel Roll with the Eel sauce was so sweet I could hardly eat it. The Spicy Crawfish Roll just tasted nasty and nauseating! I could not even eat a whole bite. I sent it back and told the waiter my concerns. He just couldn t comprehend that it would taste bad. I have included a picture of my receipt he still charged me for the roll that was not edible. I was tired tonight so I didn t make a big deal out of it. I absolutely hate going to a restaurant and literally throwing away my money.

The service was good. The waitress was attentive. The food tasted good but the portions were very small. $60 for just my wife and I for just 2 hibachi plates, coke and water. I was still hungry when we left. I would not recommend eating here.

The service was good. The food was not. Normally, I will take the food home, but it was not so today. The rice tasted sour like it was cooked in lemon juice, so it clashed with the soy sauce. The drunken monkey roll was far too fishy. And the Philly roll just didnt taste right. I am sad to say we will not be coming back here...

Went here for lunch on a Friday service was decent the food was horrible portions were literally so small it was like a kids meal from panda had to ask for more vegetables bc they ran out and didnt give my wife any the steak was so cheap tasting and the cook didnt even care about the way any of the food tasted definitely wouldnt recommend.

Lunch time seems to be a really good time if you want go here. We have been going here during lunch hours and everything seems pretty good, not too many people and the food comes out fast. Havent tried the in-table hibachi grill but the menu stuffs are good if you just want to sit at the booth/table. The sushi are decent price, I would recommend the Drunken Monkey roll. That one is good and a mouthful! And if you want a thick piece of fish (maybe you really like raw salmon or something), go for the sashimi, it is a much thicker piece if you want to just go for pure taste. If you want to go for the menu hibachi, be aware that the portion can be a little small. Overall a really good place and the staffs are friendly and seems like they tried their best!

7/30/30 - birthday meal. Decent size crowd, had a short wait for hibachi grill table. Great cook with good personality. Food was cooked perfectly. They have added Tilapia to the fish option with salmon. No salad or shrimp appetizers during lunch and the portions are smaller than dinner. We are not sushi fans, but the sushi our table mates did look really good! We will definately be returning in the future!! 12/24/2022 - Christmas Day meal with the family. Surprisingly, the restaurant was not very busy and we arrived about 12:45 pm. The Good: We were able to sit at one of the grills and had a great waiter and cook!! Everything was cooked to order and the soup was fantastic. The Bad: too much ginger in the salad dressing which is normally my favorite - didnt finish it. We came for lunch on Sunday for Fathers Day. Arrived about 1:30 pm to avoid some of the crowd. Be aware that at lunch, salad with ginger dressing and the shrimp appetizer DO NOT come with the meal!! This location also does not have catfish, but they do have salmon. Food was ok, the cook was not as personable as some of the ones we have had. He overcooked the steak, was supposed to be medium, came out more well done and chewy and my husband said the salmon was over cooked and dry. We normally go to the location on 82nd and slide, but this one is closer to our home. We love Ohana and will be back, but hope we get a different cook..

AMAZING SERVICE AND FOOD. Ive been to many hibachi style restaurants, and this one has to be my 2nd favorite. It was sad to see that they only had one chef available to work their 2 hibachi that they had at 5 oclock on a Thursday, but him, the extremely nice host, and the very sweet, busy waitress all handled it without issue. The food was very tasty and fresh, along with a great sweet tea. We also got an appetizer of a fried sushi roll called Las Vegas. Flavor was out of this world amazing. Hats off to the staff that made our dinner amazingly special for us. Yall are amazing! I highly recommend this location to anyone looking for a great meal. The four of us will return the next trip to the LBK.

The table had leftover residue, the boosters were dirty, the forks had rice stuck in them and the glasses were muggy. Loved this place me and my daughter went and had the hibachi grill for 2 @ $42 dolarrs came with 4 meats ,noodles, veggies and a show. Was awesome. And had a sushi roll the smoked salmon with creamcheese and avocado think there was about six pieces in the roll and it was only like 7 bucks and we each had a glass of flavored sake peach and pear. Ayyy!!! They finally didnt put eel sauce on my roll the 1st time around!!! Thanks guys. We found this place a couple months ago and the food is pretty good. Dipping sauce for egg/spring rolls is a bit weird in flavor/texture, but everything else is yummy so far. I cant do eel or eel-based foods, so when I ask for rolls without eel sauce.. its always been a whole ordeal with the rolls having it, the waitress taking it back and getting yelled at by the sushi chef (which we can hear btw), the waitress then trying to argue with us that it comes with it, and us having to point out she has written it down NO EEL SAUCE, to which I finally get my rolls once my partner is finished eating. This past week though... perfect!! Different waitress, perfect sushi, no eel for me! (Funny, my partner loves eel + eel with eel on top and eel on side - the more eel for him, the better!) When its slow, its super quiet in there...music would help the atmosphere a lot. The food is great, Id say go, but just be adamant about what you ordered. Wish I had the waitresses name so we could ask for her everytime! Vegetarian options: Rolls + rice.

Cute restaurant. But only having 2 hibachi tables makes for a longer wait. You have many spelling errors on your menu. The waitress was by herself and was a bit frazzled. She forgot a lot from our order. The chef was boring and did nothing exciting and takes the majority of the mandatory 18% tip. It s his job to not only cook the food but be entertaining. If he can t do that much, he should just cook the food in the back and have the waitress bring it out. I have NEVER been to a restaurant that offers a military discount to one persons meal. I sat at the sushi bar and ordered a few rolls and this dude pulled out an already made roll, cut it, drizzled it with the sauce and served it to me! The chef and waitress were both pleasant and friendly. The food, however, was horrible. The hibachi food was all over cooked, the rice burned. Meat not cooked to order. The cocktails we ordered were also terrible. One party member ordered two Mt Fuji cocktails... they each came out with different colors and different flavors. Another friend ordered a Ginger Lime Twist... it was clearly just vodka and sweetened lime juice. I believe their bar was out of stock, but we werent told this until after.

Walked in for lunch and to ny surprise they werent busy. They had one completely empty grill table and another with 3 people sitting at it. They had just recieved their soup but he did not want to sit us with them. So he then proceeds to say the wait for a grill would be 45 minutes. Who in the world has more than an hour to wait for lunch??

Dined in for supper and ordered our food with a couple alcoholic beverages. Our very polite server explained she could not make the drinks because she was a minor, but she would have them made by someone else. Our drinks never showed and our server stated that the other servers stated they were to busy to make our drinks. Ridiculous!!! Manager did nothing and drinks were never had! I bet the manager would have made sure something was done if I would have been to busy to pay! Lol

The food was good and the service was excellent. Several people were checking on us to make sure that we didnt need anything. Everyone was very friendly. Our server was great and even put on a dragon costume for the kids. This is the first time that weve been there and theyve done that. The kids were thoroughly amused. :) Definitely would recommend

Sushi is good, fried rice is the worst I have ever had at a Japanese restaurant by far. I have eaten many of the Japanese places. Y all need to rework the recipe or have the chefs follow the right one because ours was terrible.

Our family has been coming to this restaurant for years and absolutely loving it. The food and the service have always been good. Tonight however, there were several firsts. We chose to sit at a regular table on the bar side and were met with average food, incorrect drinks, and complete incompetence in our waiter. He actually argued with us about an entree we have literally ordered at least 100 times!! I have never come so close to walking out on a bill in my life!! There is definitely an element of training this is missing. It pains my heart to leave this review but Im not sure we will ever come back. It was an absolutely horrific experience.
