My food was cold and had no flavor I didnt get any entire order what I did get my okra had hair in them so had to throw away my fries were soggy my hamburger had so much mustard on it when I called to tell them they told me its not thier fault that I didnt get my items and that I didnt like their food and hung up on me

Ive never have had an experience like the one I had today they always have everything on track well today 98/31/2024 8pm I went to pickup my order which fell on the ground and the young lady that was giving me my order couldnt reach me and as I grabbed it she let go and it fell on the ground outside the window she turns and starts laughing at first I thought it was me but when she turn around abd laughed I was very disappointed with there service my order was not done the way they always make it since Ive been going there I wont be going there for a good while tastes burgers and Jim Dannys have better service and kind workers and they dont laugh in ur face and just stand there on there cell phones or just stand there doing nothing .If u dont want to work stay home .There are alot of people that r trying to get a dissent job .

Come here very often and usually a very good experience but this time the lady taking my order asked me 5 times to repeat my self the asked me what size of jumbo burger I wanted several times after repeating several times the jumbo with mayo she says okay we get there she has headphones on which explains most things cant even hear me at window and then gives me a regular burger with mustard its just hard to understand some times smh

I recently revisited Tommys Burger, a place I loved years ago, this time bringing my son for his first experience. Unfortunately, I was disappointed. The food quality didn t match my memories, and with prices significantly higher, I couldnt help but think that 5 Guys would have been a better choice. The bacon cheeseburger was just average, and the fries were lackluster. My son even remarked that there are much better options out there. I realize I may have set my expectations too high based on past visits. Sorry to say, but it didn t live up to what I remembered.

Been coming here since I was a kid, my son and I walked in and there was a young lady wearing glasses at the drive thru. It took a while for her or anyone to even see us because she was just on her phone, she was also pretty rude for a Family owned business than when my son ordered his footlong they came by and said they were out of footlong buns and if it was ok to give us Texas Toast instead won t be coming back anytime soon if ever again. Also felt over charged for what we ordered. Also there was some old stale tater tots on the window sill next to us.

We were first time customers and last time customers. We went through the drive through and asked about the process. We were told just pull to one of the sides. We guessed how we would hear our number. We rolled down the window and waited. We finally heard a number called( barely )and it was 4 numbers past ours. Our food was cold by then. I dont care how cheap it was, the food and ordering process isnt worth it. I wish I had ate anywhere else. Save yourself some disappointment, at this point they are coasting on the name only.

I could remember back in the day. This was my place to eat. Food was delicious. This is where I took my date .for are first date which she is my wife now it s been 21 years since I visit this place. But ! yesterday I decided to treat my family with some delicious food . BUT! the problem I had with yesterday experience WE throwaway $67 worth of food.. once we got home and threw-UP and the rest of the evening and last night . it made us sick to our stomachs. Use to be the best burger in town but now the store has gone way down hill. They just close when ever they want and have no set schedule. Show up just after 7 when they said they close at 8 and they say they are closed. Meanwhile all the hours on the building signs they close at 9. This has happened 3 times now where we have gone while they were open and they said they were closed, 1 time was even after sitting in line for 20 minutes. Really a shame that it has gone down hill so much.

Tommys Famous Burgers is our Go To place for lunch. the food is always great and the staff is super friendly. There is plenty of parking on both sides of the building. There is also a drive thru option if you are in a hurry. The dining room is always neat and clean. Maybe I will see you there for lunch on your next visit.

I love the food but was disappointed when I went through the drive through at 9:25 pm and was told my order wouldn t be taken because they closed at 10:00 needed that time to close down. I have nothing against you closing at 9:00 or 9:30 but those are the hours that need to be advertised. Not a 10:00 closure that really means 9:25 or earlier and you only find out after having waited in the drive through line for 10 mins.

The service is abysmal. Not to mention that the place is beyond filthy. Its a shame because the burger is actually pretty good. Its just that theres a minimum 20 minute wait despite little to no customers, as well as speakers that dont work so they expect you to just guess when your food is done. Also, the people working there are just plain disgusting and unhygenic. The food is good. I would come back if they were cleaner and had a better system for their drivethrough.

I arrived at 9:30pm to order 2 burgers and one thing of fries, but the lady answered the window to explain that the have already turned off their grill for the night and would only be serving drinks until 10pm. Why are you open until 10pm if you stop serving food at 9:30pm? Does this happen every night? It makes no sense. Do the owners know this is happening? Im so confused.

One of the better, if not best, old fashioned burgers in Lubbock. Staff is 9/10 friendly but only 6/10 get the order right. Fresh lemonade is LEGIT, so are the spicy fries (not spicy at all, really just seaspned).

This place has pretty good burgers. They have been family owned for over 40 years. So its in a older building. But the people up front do care about how your food is. Went to Tommy s for some breakfast today. There was no line, no cars in the parking lot. They were not busy. Seems when the owner is not there, the ladies who work there are more focused on feeding themselves. They show absolutely no sense of urgency to take care of the customer. This is not the 1st time this has happened. I have driven up to the window numerous times to find the ladies laughing and eating. They clearly have no sense of customer service. I usually wait patiently for service, but seeing this is an on going issue I will no longer spend my hard earned money at a business that does not put the customer 1st. Owner please focus on training your employees on customer service. Seems some of your employees could care less about the success of your business.

Ordered three large salads, two with grilled, one with breaded chicken and they were DISGUSTING. Placing the hot chicken on top of cheese melted it and gave it an awful taste. The lettuce was warm and tasted wilted. Large chopped vegetables. Weve ordered them many times before and they were wonderful. So this was disappointing. Itll be awhile before I visit again.

Ordering is straightforward, but after that you have to wait in your car on a hot day with the windows down and A/C on low, just hoping you might here them call your number from the decades old loudspeaker. Pretty strange and fairly ineffective system for how long theyve been around. The food is fine. Service is lacking. Atmosphere could be awesome if it looked like someone still cared about the place. Unfortunately, it currently looks like some kind of Mad Max, apocalyptic outpost. ...but not in a good way.

The best authentic burgers at good prices!! Cant be beat! UPDATE: Tommys is still amazing. The Chicken Fried Steak, w Italian Green Beans, and Mashed Potatoes is excellent. The only downside is the side salad. First off, we asked for no tomatoes because I am deathly allergic to them. Of course the salad had tomatoes. But the truly disappointing aspect was that the lettuce was so brown and wilted that my wife said it tasted spoiled, so we had to throw the salad out. Other than that, Tommys is still one of our favorite places to eat with good food at decent pricing with always excellent service.

I only bought chilli cheeseburgers from this place. The first one was great. I just stopped to try to a new place the first time. It was an excellent burger. Thats the only thing I purchased. The first time the lady that took the order was NOT very friendly. I returned because I wanted to try a full combo. A nice professional lady took over my order because the lady at the window was very rude for a second time. She didnt listen to me during my visits. The professional lady took my order, and it reminded me of the old Tommys burger. Great job! The other lady needed to listen because she didnt even give me my soda, and she misunderstood what I was asking her.

Never again.... This place used to be great but this is the third time Ive gone and had my order screwed up. I asked the lady at the window to confirm there were no onions on burgers like I had requested when I called in. She reluctantly said yes and pulled the ticket off the bag which seemed like she was hiding the truth. The food was so greasy and everything was shoved into one tiny brown bag that fell apart in my lap as I was trying to check the order so I gave up. The fries were disgusting. Cold, wet, limp. The burger had more mayo on it than the burnt meet patty and Kraft singles cheese. It was not good and the service doesnt care.

My recent visit was disappointing. From old oil in the fryer to under cooked fish that left me with mild food poisoning. Fries were old. They didnt get my food right. Employees both male and female were eating food in the kitchen. It was just an overall bad 2 years ago Excellent service all together

Eaten a couple times here both experiences were satisfactory items missing took awhile to get food and then somethings were over cooked or missing... No ones perfect but doesnt mean we shouldnt strive for it... Dietary restrictions: Definitely not a good idea for those on restricted diets... Greasy food not many healthy choices... Parking: Parking carport... Like sonic except without the carhops... Would be easier if they had some instead of having to get back in line to pick up order ...

I don t get how they re famous. Maybe back then when it was good. Don t recommend. Simple burger for high price. Miss Anne s Classic Diner is 100% better and cheaper. Can get a combo with drink for $10 there. Tommy s I spent $15 for same thing. No flavor and order was dry.
